mayor
councilman
appreciate
this

We
have
two
officers
that
we'd
like
to
come
in
today
for
activities
that
they
did
recently.
Two
of
our
Motor
City
police
officers
performed
life-saving
actions.
One
on
duty
had
it
not
been
for
the
quick
and
correct
actions
of
sorry,
Michael,
Booker
and
officer
Michael
Ayman
life
would
have
been
most
likely
lost.
The
officers
were
nominated
for
life-saving
award,
other
fellow
first
responders
at
the
police
department
and
Fire
Department
today,
I'd
like
to
publicly
recognize
their
work
to
protect
preserve
life.

Here
in
Bossier
City
on
the
evening
of
June
29th,
the
Bossier
City
Police
Department
responded
to
the
shooting
the
1700
block
of
South
view.
Drive
sergeant
michael
booker
was
the
first
officer
to
arrive
on
scene.
He
found
a
man
who
had
been
suffered,
who
had
suffered
a
gunshot
wound
to
the
arm
and
was
bleeding
profusely
sergeant,
Booker
quickly,
retrieved
a
tourniquet
from
the
rig
belt
and
properly
applied
it
to
stop
the
bleeding
the
victim
was
transported
to
the
hospital
and
now
is
recovering,
if
not
for
sergeant,
Michaels,
quick,
banking
in
readily
accessible
tourniquet.

On
the
morning
of
July
25th
officer,
Michael
Hyman
responded
to
a
call
of
an
unconscious
woman
who
was
involved
in
a
car
accident
at
the
corner
of
East
Texas,
an
airline
drive
seeing
that
the
woman
that
was
inside
the
vehicle
was
in
a
medical
crisis.
Iemon
had
to
use
his
hands
to
punch
out
the
car
window.
He
found
that
the
woman
was
not
breathing
and
used
the
department-issued
AED
because
of
his
life-saving
efforts.

Woman
regaining
a
pulse
and
stable,
died
stabilized
in
his
recovery
sergeant,
Michael,
Booker's
and
also
Commons
expert
use
of
experience,
training
and
equipment
exemplifies
the
mission
of
the
Bossier
City
Police
Department
to
protect
life
according
to
the
highest
banners,
a
professional
skill
integrity.
