D
D
That's
our
Cartwright
baby.
If
anyone
didn't
know-
and
we
also
have
governing
board
member
Miss
Denise
Garcia
in
the
boardroom
and
when
our
we
are
waiting
for
one
more
board
member.
D
Yeah
she
is
here
we
are
just
waiting
on
her
for
one
moment
all
right,
so
we
have
also
governing
board
member
Miss
Lydia
Hernandez,
also
physically
present
in
the
boardroom.
Congratulations,
Miss!
Hernandez!
Thank
you
for
being
here
this
evening
and
myself.
Marissa
Hernandez
in
the
governing
board
room
before
we
move
forward.
I
would
just
like
to
acknowledge
a
prior
board
member
who
is
here
this
evening.
It
is
Miss
Rosa
Cantu.
She
spent
quite
a
few
years
on
the
governing
board.
Thank
you
for
being
here
this
evening.
D
Item
number
two
on
our
agenda
for
the
evening
is
our
Pledge
of
Allegiance.
We
do
have
a
video
this
evening
are
very
important.
Scholars
that
will
be
gracing
us,
with
their
presence
and
leading
Us
in
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance
are
from
Heather
Bray
School,
and
if
you
would
all
please
rise
and
join
us
as
Heather
Bray
Scholars
lead
us
in
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance.
Thank
you.
D
The
party
continues
Mr
Harper
doll.
If
you
could
tell
your
Scholars.
Thank
you.
We
definitely
appreciate
having
them
here
and
they're
all
absolutely
adorable
foreign
acknowledgment.
D
The
Cartwright
School
District
is
located
on
the
ancestral
homelands
of
the
Hohokam
akimel
oodam
atam
and
Odum
Jewett
people,
ancestors
of
the
Salt
River
Pima,
Maricopa,
Indian,
Community
or
srm--pic.
We
acknowledge
the
rich
oral
history
culture
of
these
communities
and
there's
ancestral
ties
to
the
land.
Thank
you
item.
Four.
Is
our
adoption
of
agenda,
so
I
would
like
to
make
a
motion
for
approval
of
tonight's
agenda,
as
presented
at
the
cartridge
Elementary
School
District
governing
board
regular
meeting
for
January
12
2023.
D
Do
we
have
a
second
thank
you
Miss
Hernandez,
so
we
do
have
a
motion
made
by
myself,
Marissa
Hernandez
and
a
second
by
governing
board
member
Lydia
Hernandez
any
discussion
awesome
hearing,
none.
We
will
go
ahead
and
move
on
with
the
roll
call
vote
governing
board
member
Lydia
Hernandez.
How
do
you
vote?
D
Thank
you,
Miss
Hernandez
governing
board
member
abatethia.
How
do
you
vote?
Thank
you,
Mr
bethia
governing
board
member
Denise
Miss
Garcia.
How
do
you
vote
I
vote?
I.
Thank
you.
I
Bode
as
well,
and
the
motion
carries.
We
have
an
adopted
agenda
all
right.
Moving
on
to
item
five,
which
is
our
reorganization
of
the
board
election
of
governing
board
president
for
2023.
D
D
All
right
so
Marissa
Hernandez,
which
is
myself,
has
been
nominated
and
yes
I,
do
accept
the
nomination.
Are
there
any
other
nominations.
D
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
with
the
roll
call
vote
for
governing
board
president
for
the
2023
calendar
year
to
be
Marissa
Hernandez,
which
is
myself.
Do
we
have
a
motion?
Sorry
do
I
have
a
second.
D
Thank
you.
Oh
sorry,
roll
call
vote.
Sorry.
Ladies
first
meeting
of
the
new
year,
all
right,
Miss,
Lydia
Hernandez.
How
do
you
vote
hi?
Thank
you,
Miss
Hernandez
governing
board
member
abathia.
How
do
you
vote?
Thank
you,
Mr
bethia,
governing
board
member
Garcia.
How
do
you
vote
I
vote?
Thank
you.
Miss
Garcia
Ivory
as
well,
and
the
motion
carries
yay
I'll,
be
the
president.
D
All
right
that
was
easy.
Thank
you.
Everyone
I
really
appreciate
the
trust
that
you
have
in
me
to
be
a
good
president.
Thank
you
all
right.
We
are
going
to
move
on
to
item
six,
which
is
our
reorganization,
reorganization
of
the
board
election
of
governing
board.
Vice
president,
do
we
have
any
nominations
for
the
governing
board?
Vice
president.
D
I
would
like
to
nominate
Miss
Denise
Garcia
as
the
vice
president,
if
no
other
nominations.
D
E
D
Sorry
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
for
Miss
Garcia
to
take
the
role
of
vice
president
for
2023
and
we'll
do
that
with
the
roll
call
vote.
E
D
So
we
do
have
a
motion
made
by
myself,
Marissa
Hernandez
and
his
second
by
Miss
Lydia
Hernandez,
any
discussion,
wonderful
hearing,
none
we'll
do
a
roll
call
vote,
Miss,
Lydia
Hernandez.
How
do
you
vote
hi?
Thank
you,
Miss
Hernandez
governing
board
member.
How
do
you
vote
I
vote?
I.
Thank
you
governing
board
member
Garcia.
How
do
you
vote?
A
He
also
ensured
that
our
Scholars
would
be
able
to
participate
in
Shop
with
a
cop
during
the
holidays,
so
that
our
students
would
get
all
these
holiday
presents.
He
also
collected
enough
donations
to
make
to
make
sure
that
32
of
our
carbide
families
had
holiday
meals
for
Thanksgiving.
So
for
that,
we
thank
you
for
your
dedication
and
commitment
to
help
those
families
in
need,
and
we
would
like
to
ask
you
officer
Locker,
if
you
can.
Please
join
me
to
receive
this
award.
H
First
of
all,
this
doesn't
normally
happen
with
the
stuff
that
I
do
with
partners
and
stuff
in
the
community.
It's
usually
very
quiet.
Nobody
notices,
but
my
relationship
with
Caraway
District
goes
back
a
long
ways
and
I
appreciate
you
guys
more
than
you
know.
So
this
was
an
honor
for
me
to
accept
because
there's
a
lot
of
fluff
out
there.
This
isn't,
like
you
guys
understand
you
guys
seen
the
families
you've
seen
what
they
got
out
of
this.
So
thank
you
very
much.
D
K
D
L
Good
evening
president
Hernandez
Dr
Aguilar
Lawler
governing
board
members
executive
team
and
audience
just
before
winter,
break
the
national
board
for
professional
Teaching,
Standards
released
scores
for
the
2021-2022
school
or
cycle
and
I
felt
compelled
to
come,
and
let
you
know
that
we
have
14
teachers
to
celebrate
in
Cartwright
14..
It's
the
biggest
group
since
I've
been
working
with
teachers
on
this.
Yes,.
L
We
have
six
new
board
certified
teachers
and
eight
that
were
successful
in
maintaining
their
certification
and
I
am
hoping
to
make
some
introductions
with
you.
I
liked
I'm
working
with
colleagues
right
now
to
plan
a
reception
For,
an
upcoming
board
meeting,
so
more
information
will
be
shared
about
that
soon.
L
I
also
want
to
invite
you
to
pencil
in
April
1st,
the
Arizona
K-12
Center
has
their
celebration
of
accomplished
teaching
and
our
Cartwright
teachers
will
be
celebrated
at
that.
It's
a
lovely
event
if
you've
never
been
I
strongly
recommend
you
join
principals,
I'll
be
reaching
out
to
you
about
that
as
well.
Soon
too,
and
I
just
I
want
to
close
by
saying
that,
even
though
I'm
here
to
celebrate
teachers,
it
really
is
our
Scholars
that
are
the
winners
here
in
Cartwright
District,
we
have
four.
L
We
have
board
certified
teachers
in
14
of
our
schools
and
someday
I'm,
going
to
come
back
up
here
and
tell
you
that
all
of
our
schools
have
board-certified
teachers,
and
so
I
just
want
to
close
by
thanking
you
for
the
opportunities
and
the
support
that
you
provide
for
teachers
to
grow
as
professionals.
D
D
Our
next
item
is
item
e,
which
is
our
consent
agenda
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
for
approval
of
tonight's
consent
agenda,
as
presented
at
the
Cartwright
Elementary
School
District
governing
board
regular
meeting
of
Thursday
January
12
2023
do
I
have
a
second
thank
you
Miss
Garcia,
so
we
do
have
a
motion
made
by
myself,
Marissa
Hernandez
in
a
second
by
governing
board.
Vice
president
Denise
Garcia
any
discussion
all
right,
so
we
will
go
ahead
and
do
a
roll
call
vote,
Miss,
Lydia
Hernandez
governing
board
member.
How
do
you
vote?
D
G
D
D
With
that,
we
will
move
on
to
item
F,
which
is
an
exciting
item,
and
this
one
is
our
presentation
and
approval
of
out-of-state
travel
for
Desert
Sands,
Middle,
School,
Academy
of
mass
communication
and
journalism,
8th
grade
Scholars
to
attend
Disneyland
park
on
April
14th,
15th
2023
in
Anaheim
California,
and
this
is
presented
by
Mr
Clark
and
it
will
be
very
exciting.
Thank
you.
B
I'm,
sorry,
all
right,
good
evening,
Madam
president
members
of
the
governing
board,
Dr
Aguilar
Lawler
members
of
the
executive
team,
those
in
attendance
and
watching
on
YouTube.
My
name
is
Mike
Clark
I'm,
the
principal
at
Desert,
Sands,
Middle,
School,
Academy
of
mass
communication
and
journalism
and
I'm
excited
to
be
joined
by
our
7
8
math
teacher
Mrs
Sandra
Quintana.
To
share
this
amazing
opportunity
that
we
would
like
to
share
with
you
for
our
8th
grade
Scholars
at
our
Academy.
We
want
to
thank
you
in
advance
for
the
chance
to
present
to
you
this
evening.
B
Our
brief
presentation
tonight,
titled
the
magic
of
communication,
will
provide
a
small
group
of
8th
grade
Scholars
the
opportunity
to
travel
to
Disneyland
and
just
see
how
far
communication
skills
can
take
them
the
traits
and
the
skills
that
they're
learning
in
the
classroom.
Our
presentation
will
go
over
the
following
items:
the
purpose
of
our
magical
Adventure,
the
connection
mass
communication
and
journalism
has,
with
Disneyland
and
Beyond,
we'll
explain
some
of
the
exciting
details.
The
trip
has
our
next
steps.
B
Future
plans
are
our
itinerary
and
some
other
general
information,
but
first
I
just
wanted
to
do
a
few
quick
celebrations,
because
we
can't
do
this
presentation
without
some
of
the
support
we've
had
so
I
want
to
celebrate
our
district
leadership.
Who've
helped
us
from
public
relations
to
Dr
Aguilar
Lawler
to
Transportation
I
want
to
celebrate
our
outside
Partnerships,
including
La
Mesa
RV,
for
helping
make
this
trip
a
possibility.
B
The
hard
work
from
our
staff
and
our
Scholars
as
well
and
in
just
one
semester
here,
are
some
of
the
things
we've
done
and
I'll
be
glad
to
share
some
of
these
items
with
you
after
we've
added
a
mass
communication
and
journalism,
teacher
and
elective
class,
and
this
same
teacher
has
helped
develop
a
student-led
digital
newspaper
that
we
release
monthly
and
that
newspaper
is
amazing
and
again,
if
you
have
not
seen
it
I'd
love
to
share
that
with
you
and
that's
thanks
to
Mrs,
Noel
rosenheim
and
then
thanks
to
Mr
Ronald
Williams.
B
We
have
video
announcements
that
we've
partnered
with
Az
Family
TV
to
have
some
support
with,
and
then
we
also
have
a
partnership
with
everfi
and
they're
going
to
be
doing
an
event
at
our
school
prior
to
the
Super
Bowl,
where
our
newspaper
students
and
our
announcement
students
are
going
to
be
co-hosting
and
covering
the
event
as
if
they
work
the
event.
So
those
are
just
some
of
the
fun
things
happening
and
now
I'll
go
ahead
and
talk
a
little
bit
more
about
this
opportunity.
B
B
So
the
purpose
of
our
adventure.
We
really
want
to
give
our
students
a
chance
to
learn
about
the
importance
of
diversity,
the
importance
of
collaboration
and
keeping
a
positive
attitude
when
you're,
faced
with
obstacles,
problem,
solving
skills,
being
able
to
analyze,
connections
between
Excellence
satisfaction
and
results
and
then
being
able
to
engage
with
others
and
problem
solve
through
collaboration
and
then
learning
what
leadership
skills
they
possess
and
what
style
of
leaders
they
are.
J
Okay,
so,
according
with
our
Disneyland
proposal,
we
are
going
to
go
ahead
and
have
them
do
a
teamwork,
leadership
Workshop,
that
is
at
California
Adventure,
and
through
this
Workshop
they
will
be
focused
on
communication
and
critical
thinking.
They
will
be
doing
Hands-On
learning
and
go
through
problem
scenarios,
problem
solving
scenarios
and
it'll
help
them
determine
their
leadership
style.
J
This
will
be
cohesive
with
the
climate
and
culture
that
we
do
consistently
have
at
Desert,
Sands
and
throughout
this
whole
process
they
will
go
ahead
and
return
and
make
a
video
and
presentation
for
our
current
7th
graders.
So
we
can
go
ahead
and
continue
with
the
magic
of
communication
as
the
years
come
along.
J
This
is
a
rough
draft
of
our
itinerary
and
the
dates
are
solidified.
We
just
part
from
Desert
Sands
at
4am.
So
that
way
we
can
go
ahead
and
approximately
get
to
Disneyland
at
9am.
We'll
spend
the
whole
day
in
Disney.
The
students
will
participate
in
that
leadership.
Teamwork,
Workshop,
which
is
about
a
three
hour
long
workshop
and
throughout.
Before
and
after
that
Workshop
they
will
be
go
ahead
and
be
able
to
attend
Disneyland
and
all
their
activities
and
the
theme
park
themselves
being
able
to
hop
from
Disneyland
and
California
adventure
parks
Saturday
on
the
15th.
J
We
do
plan
to
go
ahead
and
have
breakfast
at
the
hotel
then
check
out.
This
is
still
a
work
in
progress.
We're
not
sure
if
we
will
go
ahead
and
start
meeting
with
the
shops
that
are
out
on
Disneyland
downtown
area
or
hopefully,
we're
still
looking
into
getting
a
tour
for
our
TV
station
out
there
at
Disneyland,
so
just
depending
on
which
option
we're
able
to
go
ahead
and
solidify.
J
That
is
the
one
that
they
will
be
doing
and
then
we'll
depart
approximately
about
2,
3
P.M
and
then
be
back
here
home
about
9
pm,
so
General
general
information.
We
plan
to
take
about
15
to
20
students
that
will
come
from
our
newspaper
speech
and
debate
team
and
our
video
announcements.
It
will
strictly
be
with
8th
graders
so
that
way
the
coming
following
year.
Our
seventh
graders
have
something
to
look
forward
as
they
go
ahead
and
continue
into
these
elective
items
as
they
participate
throughout
the
years.
J
Projected
dates
are
now
solidified,
April,
14th
and
15th,
and
they
will
not
affect
any
state
testings
that
we
have
and
the
imagination
class,
the
teamwork
leadership,
class
costs
37
per
student,
a
hundred
and
forty
dollars
for
the
park
pass.
So
total
ticket
price
was
about
177
dollars
per
student.
Our
hotel
will
be
staying
at
as
the
Embassy
Suites.
They
do
offer
a
free
breakfast
and
it
is
a
full
breakfast.
J
B
So
at
this
point,
Madam
president
members
of
the
board,
Dr
Aguilar
Lawler
members
of
the
executive
team
and
those
in
attendance
and
watching
on
YouTube.
We
just
want
to
thank
you
again
for
the
opportunity
to
present
this
trip
to
you.
I
want
to
thank
Mrs
Quintana
for
really
putting
together
the
logistics
and
the
behind
the
scenes.
B
Work
of
this
trip,
as
well
as
Mrs
rosenheim
and
a
few
other
members
of
our
staff
to
really
get
this
idea
off
the
ground,
and
we
want
to
thank
our
district
leaders
for
their
continued
support
in
our
outside
organizations,
who
we
form
Partnerships
with,
have
really
made
things
like
this
possible
and,
most
importantly,
our
students
and
our
staff
for
their
hard
work
and
dedication
at
Desert
Sands.
So
thank
you
and
any
questions.
D
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
somewhere
in
here
I
think
I
got
confused,
because
when
it
said
that
they
were
developing
a
presentation
for
the
seventh
graders
I
thought
it
said
for
the
governing
board
and
that
they
were
going
to
come
and
present
it
to
us,
which
is
a
good
idea,
but
they
don't
have
to,
but
it
would
be
cool
to
see
them.
D
I
think
I
did
get
confused
as
I
was
reading
it
and
just
replace
some
of
those
words
definitely
exciting
and
we're
looking
forward
to
an
update
and
sounds
like
a
great
time.
Thank
you
to
everyone.
You
know
to
miss
Quintana
and
to
you
Mr,
Clark
and
everyone
that's
been
involved
in
it
in
La,
Mesa
RV,
of
course,
for
the
donation
and
for
really
feeding
into
our
Scholars
and
providing
the
funds
to
create
these
great
opportunities.
It's
great
to
hear
what's
happening
over
at
Desert,
Sands
and
I
know.
Our
governing
board
is
extremely
grateful.
G
D
Sorry
also
yay
we're
going
to
California
all
right
so
with
that
I
will
make
a
motion
for
approval
of
out-of-state
travel
for
Desert
Sands,
Middle,
School,
Academy
of
mass
communication
and
journalism,
8th
grade
Scholars
to
attend
Disneyland
park
on
April
14th
and
15th
2023
in
Anaheim
California
at
this
evening's
Cartwright,
Elementary
School
District
governing
board
regular
meeting
for
January
12
2023.
do
I
have
a
second
second.
Thank
you.
So
we
do
have
a
motion
made
by
myself,
Marissa
Hernandez
and
a
second
by
governing
board
member
Miss
Lydia
Hernandez.
D
Any
discussion
we'll
move
on
to
our
vocal
vote,
Miss
Lydia
Hernandez
governing
board
member.
How
do
you
vote?
Thank
you,
Miss
Hernandez
governing
board
member
abathia.
How
do
you
vote?
Thank
you,
Mr
bethia!
Vice
president
Garcia.
How
do
you
vote
I
vote?
Thank
you,
Miss
Garcia
Ivory
as
well.
The
motion
carries
unanimously.
Thank
you
so
much
yay!
D
E
E
E
Thank
you
to
Davidson
for
the
spirit
t-shirts
it'll,
definitely
be
worn
with
pride.
I
also
had
the
pleasure
of
attending
the
opening
day
ceremony
of
the
56
legislative
first
regular
session
this
past
Monday
and
was
able
to
celebrate
the
momentous
occasion
with
board
member
Lydia
Hernandez
as
she
was
sworn
in
as
the
Arizona
state
representative
for
ld24.

So
the
description
for
the
fractured
images
in
drawing
class,
we
are
exploring
several
ways
to
create
a
drawing
using
a
variety
of
materials
and
Mark
making
skills
Scholars
learned
how
to
section
their
papers
into
a
triangle
grid.
They
drew
a
simple
large
image
over
their
grid
and
experimented
with
different
lines,
shapes
and
forms
to
create
patterns
on
their
object
and
in
the
background
they
also
chose
a
different
material
to
color
or
shade
in
each
grid.
D
If
you
have
not
had
an
opportunity,
and
at
the
end
of
the
meeting
you'd
like
to
come
up
and
take
a
look
at
them,
they
are
absolutely
beautiful
and
there's
a
quite
a
bit
of
detail
that
can't
be
seen
when
you're
the
closer.
You
are
the
more
of
the
detail.
You
can
see
that
the
scholars
put
into
it,
but
they
are
definitely
beautiful.
D
D
This
display
is
from
our
teacher
Kelly
Finn
and
Kane
Rowan
I
apologize
if
I
bungled,
the
middle
name.
The
title
is
realistic
value
drawing
the
grades
are
eighth
grade
and
the
school
is
Desert
Sands
Academy
of
mass
communication
and
journalism.
Our
principal
is
Mr
Michael
Clark,
and
the
description
for
the
realistic
value
drawings
is
Advanced.
8Th
grade
Scholars,
demonstrated
knowledge
of
value,
contrast
and
proportion
to
complete
a
realistic
value.
Drawing
Scholars
used
pressure
as
well
as
specific
drawing
pencils
to
create
a
range
of
value
and
demonstrated
High
craftsmanship
with
their
realistic
value
drawings.
D
Some
of
my
favorites
they're,
absolutely
incredible
works
and
I
want
to
say
thank
you
to
our
teacher
Miss,
Keely,
fanauke
and
Rowan
our
principal
Michael,
Clark
and,
of
course,
to
our
8th
grade
Scholars,
who
put
so
much
into
the
art
that
they've
produced
to
bring
us
some
happiness
in
our
boardroom.
So
thank
you.
D
D
The
description
for
our
coil
and
scrape
bowls
and
bells
is
Native.
American
groups
in
the
southwest
use
the
coil
and
scrape
technique
in
their
Pottery
building.
Coils
were
used
to
form
the
container
scrape,
smooth
or
left
visible,
depending
on
the
artist
and
the
pot's
purpose.
Seventh
grade,
Scholars
created,
coils
scrape
Bells
symmetrical
by
designing
one
side,
then
repeating
the
design.
The
insides
of
the
Bells
were
scraped,
smooth,
scored
and
slipped
together.
D
The
high
fire
clay
enabled
the
sound
to
be
enhanced
due
to
the
hardness
of
the
clay
allowing
better
vibration,
8th
grade
Scholars,
created,
coil
and
shaped
bowls
building
them
inside
plastic
containers
to
speed
production.
Scholars
learned
about
the
variety
of
minerals
found
in
clay
which
determines
the
clay
color.
D
Thank
you
to
Kate
cross,
our
teacher,
our
7th
and
8th
graders
at
Atkinson
middle
school
and
our
principal
Joy
Weiss
and
Erica
fatalo
for
the
incredible
sculptures
and
if
you
did
not
get
a
chance
to
take
a
really
good
look
at
them.
As
you
came
into
the
boardroom,
please
do
they
are,
of
course
just
as
mesmerizing
as
the
art
that
is
inside
of
the
boardroom.
D
K
Thank
you.
Madam
president.
Fellow
board,
members
Dr
Lawler
executive
team,
all
those
in
attendance.
K
It's
been
a
while,
since
I've
said
this
I
was
I
know
we
get
like
a
bunch
of
emails
with
all
kinds
of
different
things
that
are
going
on
in
the
district
and
one
of
the
emails
that
I've
been
getting
a
lot
is
the
vector
trainings
that
our
teachers,
our
staff
members,
are
supposed
to
go
through
and
fill
out
and
I
was
I
was
curious
as
to
if
we
can
get
if
there's
more
than
just
what's
going,
what's
happening
on
the
vector
training
when
it
comes
to
like
sexual
harassment
or
sexual
assault,
that
happens
in
our
campuses.
K
Well,
not
that
it
does,
but
the
trainings
that
to
prevent
those
things
and
if
our
students
are
involved
in
any
of
these
type
of
trainings
as
well.
Just
just
so
some
of
our
I
guess,
our
more
older
students
understand,
like
certain
things
that
are,
could
be
going
on
or
not
going
on
and
making
sure
that
there's
a
clear
line
between
themselves:
their
peers
staff
members
in
the
district,
this
kind
of
the
email
getting
the
I'm
not
gonna,
lie
filled.
K
It
started
filling
out
the
email
and
realizing
I
won't
have
to
do
this,
so
I
was
I
was
realizing
it
when
I
was
doing
the
email,
but
also
I
was
watching
a
show,
and
this
the
what
was
going
on
in
the
show
made
me
think
about
what
are
we
doing
in
our
district
to
kind
of
help
prevent
situations
that
might
happen
so
I
just
wanted
to
see.
If
we
can
have
a
conversation
about
that
in
the
future.
K
D
Wow
I
did
them
too,
so
don't
feel
bad
and
it
brought
up
a
great
point.
D
It's
it's
nice
to
see
that
those
things
are
available
to
us
as
well,
and
what
everybody's
doing
out
in
the
district
so
just
know
some
of
your
board
members
do
the
training
as
well,
and
one
of
them
was
like
seven
hours
yeah.
So
I
was
like
whoa
hold
on
yeah,
but
yeah.
That
would
be
really
nice.
D
M
Hernandez,
yes,
Madam,
president
fellow
board,
members
Dr
Lawler
executive
team,
those
in
the
audience
and
those
watching
wanted
to
see
if
we
could
review
a
policy
because
it's
been
a
while,
but
it
should.
We
have
a
board
member
resign.
The
process
involved
as
I
recall
the
last
time
we
went
through
that
it's
always
at
the
last
minute
trying
to
figure
out
what
what
that
process
is
and
I
wanted
for
us
to
have
like
a
you,
know,
time
to
discuss
it,
review
it
or
study
session
regarding
it.
Thank
you.
D
All
right,
I'll
say
those
two
are
really
good.
Thank
you,
ladies.
Those
were
really
good
ones.
Moving
on
to
item
I,
it
is
our
announcement
of
future
meeting
date
and
other
routine
information
concerning
the
governing
board.
D
The
next
regular
governing
board
meeting
will,
with
executive
session,
will
be
held
on
Thursday
January
26
2023
at
5
pm
at
the
Cartwright
School
District
boardroom,
and
moving
on
to
item
J
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
for
adjournment
of
the
Cartwright
Elementary
School
District
governing
board
meeting
regular
meeting
for
Thursday
January
12
2023
do
I
have
a
second
thank
you.
So
we
have
a
motion
made
by
myself,
Marissa
Hernandez
and
a
second
by
vice
president
Garcia,
and
we
will
do
a
roll
call
vote,
Miss,
Lydia
Hernandez.
How
do
you
vote?
