their

their
application
was
approved

we

it

A
A
F
Madam
chair
board
members
of
those
in
attendance,
one
of
the
things
that
we
have
added
and
at
the
recommendation
of
your
colleagues,
was
to
try
to
periodically
feature
what's
happening
in
our
schools.
So
as
part
of
the
kickoff
we
have
inside
CSD
kicking
off
with
Willowdale
Elementary
School,
so
Dr
Kelly.
Please
come
forward.
G
Afternoon,
Dr,
Madden
Madam
president
and
members
of
the
school
board.
I
am
the
very,
very
proud
principal
of
Willowdale
Elementary
located
here
in
Centennial
School
District
I
am
being
accompanied
by
two
phenomenal
students.
I
have
Tommy
Quinn
and
Aaron
Thompson
Hall,
and
they
are
going
to
help
me
present
some
of
the
spectacular
things
that
are
happening
daily
at
Willowdale.
First,
we
have
a
quick
video
for
you,
followed
by
a
short
PowerPoint
presentation
where
we'll
be
co-facilitating.
So
thank
you.
Thank.
A
H
I
G
So,
as
you
all
can
see,
Willowdale
there
are
so
many
exciting
things
happening
every
day
and
one
of
our
focuses
this
year,
being
a
new
principal,
was
making
sure
that
all
students
feel
safe,
valued
and
heard,
but
a
place
where
learning
can
be
fun.
So
we
always
invite
our
family
and
community
members
out
to
events,
and
so
this
is
only
a
small
glimpse
of
how
learning
can
be
so
much
fun.
I
am
going
to
quickly
share
for
you
what
our
March
Madness
presentation
consisted
of.
G
To
give
you
a
little
bit
of
background,
so
in
keeping
with
our
district
mission
and
vision,
we
see
this
at
every
every
meeting
and
we
really
embody
this
at
Willowdale.
Everything
that
we
do
is
tied
back
to
the
Centennial
vision
and
Mission,
because
it
helps
us
to
continue
to
be
aligned
and
making
sure
we
support
students
every
day.
G
These
are
some
of
the
objectives
that
I
will
cover
or
that
we
will
cover
today
from
clear
and
shared
Focus
high
standards
and
expectations
for
all
students,
high
levels
of
collaboration,
communication
and
family
and
parent
engagement
is
super
huge
for
us.
G
So
there
was
a
sweet
16
that
was
chosen
and
we
had
a
bracket
style
system
where
the
whole
school
read
16
books
over
the
span
of
February
27th
to
March
31st,
so
read-alouds
were
chosen.
The
links
happened
and
in
class
every
day,
over
the
span
of
those
about
four
weeks,
our
whole
school
read
these
16
books
together
and
the
students
utilized
QR
codes
to
vote
for
the
books
that
they
love
the
best.
G
Our
assembly,
we
were
able
to
reveal
the
school-wide
winner
Again
by
student
choice
and
vote
and
the
entire
school
one
nibbles.
The
book
monster
was
our
winning
book,
and
this
was
our
first
time
doing
this.
So
we're
super
excited
about
what
this
could
be
for
years
to
come
so
really
quickly.
We
have
a
few
upcoming
events,
this
Thursday
April
13th.
We
have
our
open
house.
G
We
invite
every
family
out
to
Willowdale
again
to
see
some
of
the
amazing
things
that
are
happening
so,
if
you're
a
family
with
the
last
name
a
through
M,
we
invite
you
out
from
6
to
6
30
P.M,
to
check
out
the
classrooms
and
just
see
the
many
happenings
in
our
school,
and
if
you
are
a
family
with
the
last
name
of
n
through
Z,
we
invite
you
out
at
6
45
to
7
15
p.m.
Willowdale.
G
We
are
also
Title
One
school,
so
we
have
a
huge
emphasis
on
reading
and
math
and
so
from
6
30
to
6.
45
parents
are
able
to
come
meet
me
in
the
lobby
and
review
our
family
engagement
Compact
and
give
us
feedback
in
terms
of
how
we
can
continue
to
approve
as
a
school.
Also,
we
sent
out
a
family
survey
just
to
gauge
parent
understanding
and
interest
and
get
feedback
for
our
Title
One
process
and
that
was
sent
to
families
via
e-messenger.
G
So
one
of
the
things
that
we
are
cultivating
at
Willowdale
is
student
leadership,
and
so
we
were
able
to
see
some
of
the
older
students
from
high
school
and
mbit
and
we
are
cultivating
student
leaders
at
Willowdale
also,
so
we
currently
have
12
Puma
ambassadors
and
that's
our
fifth
grade
students.
Only
next
year
we
are
going
to
expand
our
program.
G
We
will
continue
to
have
ambassadors
at
the
fifth
grade,
but
we're
going
to
install
the
AAA
safety
program
where
that
will
allow
our
fourth
and
fifth
grade
students
to
be
involved,
and
so
actually,
tomorrow,
we're
having
an
informational
assembly
for
current
third
and
fourth
graders
to
gauge
interest.
They'll
have
to
fill
out
a
application
packet,
get
a
teacher
recommendation,
a
process
that
helps
them
kind
of
exercise
their
skills
and
it
allows
them
agency
in
their
school
environment.
G
J
Hello,
my
name
is
Tommy
Quinn
I'm
in
fifth
grade
at
Willowdale
and
I'm
in
the
drama
club
and
honors
Orchestra.
This
year
we
will
be
presenting
a
play
of
the
Lion
King
Jr.
We
have
67
students
as
the
cast
and
crew
I
play
the
role
of
Zazu,
our
directors,
Miss
Declan
and
Mrs
Taylor,
along
with
nine
other
teachers,
have
been
working
hard
since
October
the
show
will
take
place
on
May
5th.
We
will
do
a
school
performance
for
the
students
during
the
day,
along
with
an
evening
performance.
J
K
At
Willowdale,
we
follow
Hawes
P
for
positive
attitude,
a
for
ACT,
respectfully
W
for
work,
responsible
s
for
make
safe
choices.
Students
show
pause
in
the
Halls
classrooms,
lunch
recess
and
the
bus
students
can
be
rewarded
with
a
pause
sticker
for
showing
the
pause,
the
students,
the
stickers,
go
on
the
200
board
and
if
a
column
or
row
fills
up
students
can
each
earn
a
prize.
Students
can
also
get
tickets
from
launch
recess
and
the
bus,
that's
trade
in
for
project
with
our
prize
Patrol
students
can
try
out
for
honors
course.
K
G
A
M
If
you
don't
mind,
I
will
start
then,
since
we
then
we
could
work
that
way
down.
I
just
want
to
give
kudos
to
Dr
Kelly
for
creating
the
Weekly,
Newsletter
and
video
that
she
sends
out.
It
is
so
nice
to
see
that
she
reads
the
book
either
with
students
or
on
her
own.
It
is
a
great
presentation
for
the
students.
L
M
L
Else
yeah
I
just
like
to
comment
on
the
video
seeing
kids
get
excited
about
a
book
when,
as
they
are
excited
about
a
sports
win,
is
pretty
cool
that
was
really
neat
to
see
and
just
additionally
voting
for
their
books
by
QR
code.
That's
pretty
cool,
getting
kids
into
technology
and
all
not
just
folding
a
piece
of
paper
and
handling
it
into
doing
getting
kids
into
that
technology.
That's
really
neat.
N
I'll,
just
thank
you
for
what
you're
doing
to
build
community
at
the
school
and
really
get
kids
excited
and
energized
I,
absolutely
love
it,
and
thank
you
to
the
students
who
presented
tonight
and
having
seen
Mary
Poppins
multiple
times.
While
it
was
running
through
a
fantastic
Michael,
so
great
job,
foreign.
A
O
Thank
you,
I
just
wanted
to
finance
committee.
Did
we
had
a
postponing
meeting,
but
we
did
meet
a
lot
of
part
of
March
and
once
again
tried
to
come
through
the
budget.
I,
don't
think
it's
still
quite
done
yet,
but
we're
getting
there.
Thank.
N
A
You
we
are
at
the
superintendent's
report
right
now:
Here
Comes,
our
superintendent.
F
Adam's
here
and
board
members
first
is
I
like
to
share
and
celebrate
and
recognize
one
of
our
own
Mr
Nate
Ross
was
awarded
recognized
by
Pittsburgh.
They
received
a
award
and
recognition
for
the
transition
video
regarding
our
special
ed
program.
So
if
you
join
me
in
recognizing
Mr
Ross
for
his
2022
Pennsboro,
which
is
a
Pennsylvania
School,
a
public
relations
Association
being
award
recipient
recognized
by
for
them
for
his
transition,
video
that
he
created
for
the
school
district.
F
As
always,
our
we
try
to
align
things
with
our
building
blocks
and
our
objectives,
and
in
this
case
the
ideas
that
we
want
to
our
schools
have
a
safe
civil,
unhealthy
and
stimulating
learning
environment,
and
we
root
everything
inside
the
nine
characteristics
of
high
performing
schools.
In
this
case,
creating
stand
meeting
standard
number
eight,
which
is
a
supportive
learning
environment.
Next
slide
a
big
part
of
when
you
think
about
a
comprehensive
school
safety
approach.
F
There
are
recognized
five
components
of
that
prevention,
protection,
mitigation,
response
and
recovery,
and
each
of
those
have
strategies
and
expectations
associated
with
them,
security,
assessment
policies
and
procedures,
Emergency
Management
plan
as
part
of
prevention
and
mitigation,
and
when
we
talk
about
protection
and
preparedness,
we're
talking
about
our
physical
security
using
Safety
and
Security
officers,
our
law
enforcement
collaboration,
trainings
and
drills,
and
in
recovery,
which
is
about
the
psychological
first
aid,
family
reunification,
continuity
and
I,
would
add
mental
and
Behavioral
Health
expectations
that
we
try
to
address
next.
F
We
you've
seen
this
before.
We
have
had
multiple
conversations
at
least
two
in
conversations
and
meetings
and
executive
sessions
to
talk
about
things
that
should
not
have
been
at
time
privy
to
the
public
and
then
at
least
two
conversations
in
public
board
meetings.
But
for
the
sake
of
those
who
may
be
new,
there
are
some
key
definitions
that
have
to
be
understand,
understood
the
first
being
a
school
police
officer,
which
is
a
designation
that
is
given
by
the
Pennsylvania
Department
of
Ed
and
the
key
component.
F
There
is
that
a
school
police
officer
is
one
who
is
actually
employed
by
the
district,
but
has
all
the
same
credentials
and
training.
As
a
municipal
police
officer,
people
often
talk
about
a
school
resource
officer.
School
resource
officers
are
municipal
police
officers
who,
if
there
is
a
an
agreement
between
the
jurisdictions
and
or
if
the
municipality
so
chooses,
to,
assign
and
provide.
F
That
is
a
regular
police
officer
who
may
have
there
for
lack
a
better
term
Duty
station
or
signed
to
a
particular
school
or
School
District
that
does
not
exist
at
this
time
in
Centennial
has
not
existed
for
a
while.
I
do
want
to
go
on
record
in
making
sure
that
I
complement
our
two
police
departments,
because
we
get
regular
communication
from
them
and
our
schools,
because
anytime
a
police
officer
shows
up
at
our
schools.
The
schools
are
required
to
notify
central
office
and
we
get
them
a
lot.
F
They
make
it
a
habit
to
stop
at
our
schools.
In
fact,
they're
used
to
see
me
in
person
rather
than
in
my
vehicle
and
I,
was
leaving
McDonald
yesterday
and
I
was
sitting
in
a
parking
lot,
because
I
had
to
respond
to
some
emails
and
text
messages
and,
of
course,
you
can't
text
and
drive
and
guess
who
pulled
up
next
to
me.
The
question
who's
this
person
sitting
in
the
parking
lot.
So
that
was
a
good
thing.
F
You
need
to
recognize
my
vehicle
to
pull
up
and
roll
his
window
down
to
say:
oh,
oh,
it's
you,
you
know,
but
the
point
is
that's
a
prime
example
of
their
presence
on
our
school
campuses,
school
security
officer
and
guard.
That
is
also
a
very
specific
designation
that
is
provided
by
the
Pennsylvania
Department
of
Education,
which
has
requirements
that
a
person
has
actually
been
certified
through
acts,
67
training
or
natural
training.
F
If
you
do
not
have
that
training,
you
cannot
be
called
a
school
security
guard
in
our
case,
Centennial
has
for
years
had
school
monitors
and
we
pretty
much
have
people
stationary
at
a
desk
taking
people
in
and
checking
the
mail
when
they
come
visit.
The
building
we
do
not
currently
have
security
guards.
Let's
go
resource
officers
or
school
police
officers
in
our
schools,
and
then
the
key
component
is
understanding.
National
Association
School
resource
officers,
which
provides
the
training
that
is
required
or
the
state's
act
67
next
slide.
F
Key
that
I
think
I
want
to
highlight
here
is
that
we
spent
two
years
navigating
through
one
of
the
most
significant
events
in
the
history
of
public
education
arrived
here
in
September,
2020
and
Emily
had
to
really
much
jump
in
and
deal
with
the
pandemic.
We
were
doing
nothing
else,
but
dealing
with
the
pandemic
once
we
transition
back
some
sense
of
normalcy.
F
A
big
Salient
point
was
a
briefing
given
to
the
board
in
October
of
2022,
where
we
had
conversations
about
the
need
based
on
assessments
and
our
review
of
things,
to
make
some
significant
changes
in
the
process.
We
also
were
having
comprehensive
reviews
and
visits
by
the
state
police,
in
collaboration
with
our
director
of
facilities
to
do
walk-throughs
and
assessments
of
our
school
next
slide.
F
So
this
process
has
continued,
as
we
have
continued
to
try
to
address
what
we
believe:
a
significant
efforts
to
focus
on
provision,
prevention
and
mitigation,
the
things
that
we
can't
control
every
state
trooper.
Do
we
talk
to
any
Safety
and
Security
expert?
Even
our
third
party
consultant
will
tell
you
that
schools
are
not
designed
to
keep
people
out
if
they
really
want
to
get
in.
We
can
only
try
to
make
it
more
difficult
and
try
to
be
proactive
in
identifying
a
threat
before
it
happens.
F
Our
typical
response
time
from
our
Police
Department,
is
about
five
minutes.
You
know
we.
The
best
thing
you
can
do
is
try
to.
Excuse
me
three
to
four
minutes.
Let
me
correct
that
that
definitely
warminster's
response
time
is
that
they
typically
estimate
that
an
issue
happens
within
five
to
eight
minutes
when
you
have
an
intruder,
so
the
idea
is
that
they
try
to
get
there
within
a
time
frame
to
try
to
engage
and
mitigate
the
threat
as
soon
as
possible.
F
That
may
happen
in
any
of
our
schools
next
slide
and
that's
just
a
complete
timeline,
because
I
want
to
be
clear
to
our
community
that
this
has
been
a
significantly
almost
year-long
process
in
trying
to
address
what
we
believe
is
an
area
of
growth
and
Improvement
next
slide
what
we
shared
based
on
people
asking
more
questions,
even
though
this
information
had
been
shared
in
public.
Other
public
meetings
was
in
a
recent
communication.
Written
communication
was
that
our
current
model
is
a
decentralized
model.
F
It
has
not
and
does
not
currently
have
those
positions
that
I
shared
earlier
and
that
we
currently
have
security
monitors
that
have
limited
security
training
and
tend
to
operate
more
as
a
receptionist
capacity
receiving
visitors
into
the
building,
and
rather
than
through
the
technology
that
we
put
in
place.
One
of
the
things
we
did
this
summer
was
we
upgraded
our
technology.
The
Raptor
system
was
upgraded
and
it
actually
does
not
only
background
checks
for
people
entering
the
schools.
It
also
serves
to
do
background
checks.
F
For
those
who
are
volunteering
to
be
to
volunteers,
we
actually
are
able
to
run
people
through
the
system
from
our
computers
now
and
get
more
electronic
responses.
On
any
background
for
people
who
want
to
volunteer
in
the
schools,
all
of
our
schools
have
those
Raptor
systems
to
be
in
a
vestibule
area.
A
secure
entry
area
before
you
enter
the
building,
the
last
remaining
building
to
be
corrected
that
we're
waiting
on
parts
still
for
is
this.
F
Building
that
Raptor
system
will
be
moved
outside
into
the
vestibule
area
for
people
to
enter,
and
you
will
have
the
outer
door
that
you
come
in,
but
the
enter
your
door.
You
won't
be
the
answer
until
you're
bust
in
they're,
actually
flipping
the
system
and
upgrading
it.
It
has
been
six
months,
we've
been
waiting
for
peace,
parts
and
and
pieces
to
get
that
switched
in
the
process.
Next
slide.
F
As
you
know,
we
took
upon
the
task
of
once
we
identified
the
deficiencies
was
developing
and
or
upgrading
job
descriptions
that
the
board
ultimately
approved.
F
We
worked
on
the
job
description
for
a
school
police
officer
designation,
which
is
a
quote
which
is
really
our
person,
who
would
be
our
supervisor
of
Safety
and
Security
in
the
district
we
provided
and
updated
our
expectations
for
school
security
guard
and
the
requirements
that
you
have
to
have
to
actually
be
labeled,
and
given
that
designation
and
also
we
updated
and
approved,
and
the
board
approved
the
new
job
description
for
the
current
positions
of
secondary
security,
Monitor
and
Elementary
security
monitor.
F
We
also
developed
Staffing
plans,
as
we
try
to
transition
from
a
decentralized
model
to
a
centralized
model,
and
those
Staffing
plans
also
included
adding
five
positions
to
our
staff
to
take
us
to
approximately
14,
to
16
staff
members,
who
actually
will
all
eventually
be
categorized
and
qualified
to
be
called
security
guards.
F
We
are
not
forcing
anyone
out.
Those
people
who
are
security.
Monitors
who
do
not
want
to
transition
will
allow
to
be
in
remaining
those
positions,
but
we
won't
backfill
with
any
other
security
monitors.
Any
future
hires
will
all
have
to
come
with
a
credentialing,
the
certification
and
the
training
as
security
guards
to
be
hired
by
a
Centennial
School
District,
which
would
be
tied
to
act
67
or
the
natural
training,
as
shared
with
the
board.
Previously,
we
had
unbelievable
response
to
the
anticipated
vacancy
for
Safety
and
Security
Supervisor.
F
Just
within
our
own
system,
it
was
over
100,
roughly
102
applicants
when
you
put
in
indeed
and
other
things
that
we
couldn't
even
it
was
just
a
Floodgate.
It
pushed
it
closer
to
like
150
to
160
and
clearly
it
was
very
difficult
for
us
to
try
to
even
go
through
all
of
those.
Some
of
those
were
obviously
unqualified.
F
Even
one
person
being
finishing
a
career
as
a
chief
and
to
the
previous
departments
applied
for
it
today
was
the
interviews
for
the
second
round
participating
in
that
interview
was
the
chief
of
upper
Southampton
and
Lieutenant
from
Warminster
to
be
a
part
of
reviewing
and
interviewing
and
listening
and
watching
and
giving
feedback
on
the
potential
candidates
that
they
would,
of
course,
eventually
be
end
up
working
with
and
then
also
we
have
engaged
because
of
across
the
country.
F
In
a
County,
everyone
has
had
challenges
being
able
to
feel
their
Safety
and
Security
positions,
so
we've
had
to
contract
out
at
least
three
of
ours
see
because
we
have
continually
had
been
down
numbers.
The
at
least
one
person
I
went
over
met
today
from
Cardinal
Point,
who
was
already
assigned
to
our
school
to
help
fill
our
vacancies
so
that
we
are
trying
to
get
back
up
to
full
force
of
already
approved
positions
that
we
have
in
the
district.
Next
slide
understanding
what
our
supervisor
of
Safety
and
Security
is
again.
F
That
is
a
person
who
also
will
have
the
qualifications
and
credentialing
to
be
recognized
as
a
school
police
officer,
and
what
that
really
means
is
that
they
have
to
have
the
training
requirements
that
are
listed
there,
which
includes
being
some
point
of
being
a
part
of
the
police
academy
or
going
through
being
a
previous
police
officer
and
having
gotten
their
credentials
to
do
so.
The
successful
candidate
also
must,
if
they
don't
have,
it
already
have
completed
the
natural
training
and
the
person
is
credentialed
to
be
armed.
They
are
a
true
police
officer.
F
The
difference
is
they
just
work
for
the
school
district
next
slide,
some
of
the
duties
and
expectations
is
that,
because
we
have
had
a
decentralized
model,
part
of
our
challenge
is
always
staying
on
top
of
all
the
state
mandates
and
requirements.
So,
for
example,
act
44
lays
out
a
lot
of
significant
expectations
of
mandatory
trainings
that
are
supposed
to
happen
each
year
in
the
school
district.
This
person
would
be
the
Safety
and
Security
coordinator
as
required
by
act
44
state
law
in
Pennsylvania.
F
They
would
supervise
and
serve
as
a
supervisor
of
the
Safety
and
Security
Personnel.
That
are
assigned
to
the
schools
and
oversee
the
management,
training
and
compliance
and
Staffing
of
the
schools,
as
well
as
working
with
the
principal
to
evaluate
the
performance
of
the
person
who's
serving
in
the
principal
school.
F
They
also
would
be
the
contact
for
all
of
our
third
party
interactions,
whether
it
be
with
our
local
law
enforcement,
whether
it
be
with
the
bciu
emergency
management
process
that
we
have
in
relationship
with
the
IU
coordinating
training
there
trainings
that
have
to
happen
with
teachers
and
other
staff
that
have
to
happen
that
are
now
coming
down
from
the
state,
and
they
would
oversee
those
things
that
are
related
to
Safety
and
Security,
and
obviously
we
want
them
to
build
a
relationship
with
the
local
police
and
First
Responders.
F
All
the
year
for
me
was
safe
to
sing.
They
would
be
a
lead
point
of
contact
when
we
get
alert
on
safe,
to
say
to
relieve
some
of
that
burdening
and
work
in
collaboration
with
the
principals,
but
we
also
have
Gaggle
a
lot
of
people
may
not
know,
but
Gaggle
is
a
software
system
that
catches
buzzwords
when
you
use
our
electronic
system,
so
students
who
use
our
computer
and
Technology
if
keywords
are
found
in
the
communication,
that
system
automatically
sends
an
alert
to
designated
staff.
F
So
if
someone
says
gun
kill
just
give
an
example,
that
system
detects
it
and
sends
an
alert
staff
that
that
is
something
that's
been
communicated
within
one
of
our
systems
and
then
obviously
it
triggers
a
follow-up
to
do
more
review
to
figure
out.
Is
this
a
serious
threat,
a
prank
or
something
like
that?
F
You
know
obviously
our
equipment
and
and
other
things,
and
then
they
also
would
be
have
oversight
and
help
with
happening
with
school
day
and
extracurricular
activities.
We
often
have
the
past
few
years,
I
run
into
challenges
with
getting
coverage
for
our
evening
events
and
athletic
events,
because
this
police
department
is
short
themselves
and
security
agencies
have
been
short
with
Staffing.
Next,.
F
A
big
part
of
our
efforts
have
been
trying
to
be
more
proactive
rather
than
reactive,
and
there
has
been
a
lot
of
documentation
about
the
mental
and
behavioral
health
challenges
that
have
escalated
since
the
pandemic
in
our
teams
and
even
have
been
the
board
supported
and
increased
Staffing.
So
we
have
our
social,
emotional
and
academic
learning
coordinator,
who
have
Liaisons
at
the
school
that
works
and
helps
with
the
culture
and
climate
at
our
schools.
They
also
work
with
schools
to
address
practices
around
coping
and
regulation
modeling
and
reinforcing
Behavior
expectations.
F
We
also
have
behavioral
mental
health
counselors
that
are
in
our
district
that
work
with
our
students
at
school
based
level
regarding
decision
making
conflict
resolution
self-esteem.
So
we
have
also
deployed
and
provided
resources
to
try
to
help
students
and
staff
before
it
gets
to
the
other
end
of
the
type
of
problem
that
occurs.
What
I
tell
you
is
there
enough?
No,
even
a
governor
in
the
state
are
putting
more
resources
to
add
more
supports
to
schools
to
to
provide
more
staff
in
this
area.
Next,
other
things.
F
Are
you
aware
that
we
applied
for
and
were
granted
300
almost
63
000
from
the
Pennsylvania
Commission
on
crime
and
delinquency,
often
known
as
pccd?
That
is
one-time
funds?
So
once
it's
spent
it's
gone.
It's
not
a
recurring
line
item
that
we
have
so
we've
been
using
it
to
conduct
Emergency
Management
situation,
awareness,
training
for
staff,
installing
vehicle
barriers
around
our
play
areas
and
you'll
see
some
pictures
of
that.
F
That
will
upgrades
actually
were
completed
over
the
spring
break,
that
the
grant
help
pay
for
providing
an
additional
ID
badge
readers
at
specific
buildings,
where
we
believe
that
other
interests
may
need
to
have
those
for
staff
to
swipe
in
whether
it
be
for
Access,
Control
and
or
safety
to
see
who's
entering
the
building
in
different
locations.
Rather
than
a
key
entry
process.
We
are
trying
to
update
and
modify
our
notification
lockdown
functions
so,
for
example,
I
have
an
ability
to
do
a
lockdown
of
a
number
of
doors.
F
All
at
once
buy
an
emergency
button
system
addressing
dead
spots
that
may
exist
with
our
cameras
within
our
schools
and
the
blind
spots,
updating
any
old
cameras
that
may
be
outdated
and
also
getting
a
more
centralized
key
system
for
spanning
control
of
our
key
system,
and
then,
of
course,
the
grant
is
also
providing
money
to
help
with
our
Psychological
Services
mental
health
support.
Next.
F
We
are
working
also
to
address
cyber
security.
More
and
more
schools
have
been
hit
with
cyber
attacks,
part
of
the
the
plan
included,
adding
additional
FTE
so
that
we
actually
have
an
ability
for
our
current
manager
to
spend
more
time
addressing
our
network
security
and
those
types
of
things
we
also,
as
I
mentioned,
with
along
with
State
Police,
have
completed
saved
and
security
assessments
around
our
buildings,
which
also
will
continue.
That's
not
a
once
and
done
type
thing,
and
we
have
met
with
the
security
monitors.
F
I
actually
met
with
them
personally
myself
to
ascertain
their
desire
to
move
to
the
new
position
or
to
stay
in
their
own
position
regardless.
If
they
stay
in
their
current
position,
they
will
be
required
to
receive
the
same
training.
They
just
won't
move
to
the
new
position
and
the
pay
scale
that
goes
with
it.
F
As
you
can
see,
the
pictures
thank
you
to
our
facilities,
team
and
staff
are
working
on
this.
Those
are
new
additional
barriers
added
around
our
playground,
areas
that
were
paid
for
by
the
grant,
which
was
one
of
the
safety
expectations
to
be
done
and
improved.
F
We
think
it's
prudent
to
get
the
person
on
as
soon
as
possible,
so
they
I
can
have
time
to
learn
our
schools
and
learn
and
assess
them
this
spring
to
so
they
can
make
changes
in
preparations
over
the
summer
so
that
we
come
back
in
a
much
better
place
than
where
we
are
now,
and
when
students
and
staff
start
school
next
school
year,
we
will
be
asking
for
the
ability
to
fully
Implement
all
of
the
upgrades
and
changes
that
we
have
presented
to
you
originally
going
back
in
October,
and
we
also
really
need
the
green
light
that
we
had
the
table,
which
was
to
be
able
to
approach
the
township
and
begin
the
conversations
around
any
interest
in
generally
funding
two
SRO
positions.
F
F
But
if
we
get
the
green
light,
we
can
have
those
conversations
and
try
to
address
any
concerns
or
hiccups
that
may
exist
in
trying
to
move
forward
and
those
when
you
talk
about
that,
that
would
be
funding
of
school
resource
officers
at
least
two
one
from
each
municipality
upper
Southampton
and
also
Warminster,
if
so
inclined
to
do
so
next
slide.
F
When
you
think
about
those
positions,
natural
says
that
these
are
minimum
things.
You
should
consider
that
the
position
is
not
for
every
law
enforcement
officer.
So
it's
not
just
because
you
were
a
police
officer.
We
often
tell
people
too,
just
because
you
were
a
police
officer,
does
not
make
you
a
good
person
to
work
in
a
school.
That
training
is
not
the
same.
There
is
specialized
training.
So
when
I
hear
people
say,
oh,
they
were
a
police
officer.
It
helps,
but
there's
more
to
it
than
just
doing
that.
F
F
With
understanding
that
at
minimum
someone
who
has
at
least
three
years
of
law
enforcement
experience,
that's
in
minimum
to
even
be
considered,
they
have
an
interest
in
evidence
and
desire
to
work
with
youth
and
they
have
no
disciplinary
record
or
devoid
of
any
complaints
in
their
record
around
their
working
with
youth.
Previously
next
slide.
F
For
us,
what
it
means
in
Centennial
for
an
administrative
standpoint,
is
having
someone
who's
visible,
an
active
law
enforcement
figure,
meaning
they're,
not
someone
who's,
retired
and
just
biting
our
time
to
finish
out
the
career
in
law
enforcement
that
they
become
a
classroom
resource
for
our
schools.
So
they
get
to
know
the
students
in
Iraq
with
them
also
in
the
classroom,
their
community
resource,
so
that
they
do
presentations
and
able
to
be
someone
that
our
community
can
talk
to
and
engage
when
it
comes
to
about
what's
happening
with
school
safety.
F
They're
more
like
a
member
of
our
faculty,
and
it's
not
a
replacement
for
our
existing
school
security
practices.
O
F
Actually,
we
we
have
funds
to
hire
the
one
person
available
right
now
because
of
some
of
the
vacancies
that
have
existed.
So
you
would
be
basically
proving
to
continue
that
position.
So
there
is
money
available.
We
would
not
bring
something
that
we
did
not
have
the
ability
to
fund
it,
and,
quite
honestly,
if
you
remember
to
where
the
board
seems
to
be,
and
what
they're
going
to
approve
it's
already
in
the
budget
for
next
year,
I.
F
P
Yes,
I
would
just
like
to
say
that
was
a
great
presentation.
I
feel
there's
a
great
need
for
this
I
think
from
you
know,
just
my
point
of
view
and
from
hearing
from
my
people
who
live
in
my
neighborhood.
They
they
feel
that
this
is
not
only
a
country
problem,
but
it's
it's
it's
it's
a
grown
problem
and
I
think
this
is
a
step
in
the
right
direction.
So
I
I
appreciate
everything
you're
doing
Dr
Ben
thank.
Q
A
Next
item
is
public
comments,
it's
for
items
that
are
on
the
agenda,
but
we
do
have
a
card
and
I'm,
probably
not
going
to
pronounce
this
gentleman's
name
correctly,
because
I
can't
really
read
his
writing
so
I'll
make
a
stab
at
it
not
forget
to
stop
t-e-t-I.
Perhaps
thank
you.
Okay,
sorry
about
that.
R
How
you
doing
everyone
good?
My
name
is
Nick
Taney,
my
daughter
attends
Klinger
Middle
School.
R
Recently,
some
items
and
topics
came
up
between
parents
and
I
made
a
post
on
one
of
the
parent
pages,
and
it
seemed
to
kind
of
catch
attention
and
Go
in
different
ways,
most
which
weren't
fully
intended
more.
So
questions
related
to
safety,
something
that
came
up
that
the
monitor
which
I
agree
with
doctor,
that
it's
not
a
position
that
really
fills
the
need
and
it
hasn't
filled
the
need
in
probably
over
a
decade
or
longer,
considering
the
fact
in
1999
started
what
we
have
now
as
mass
shootings
becoming
irregularity
in
our
schools.
R
But
we
had
a
situation
where
we
had
a
monitor
in
the
Klinger
Middle
School
no
longer
with
the
school
district
and
a
position
was
left
open
as
most
parents
are,
we
don't
had.
We
don't
have
full
definition
of
what
each
of
these
positions
was
specifically
supposed
to
be
doing,
but
as
a
parent,
if
you
don't
have
these
definitions
given
to
you,
your
thought
process
is
when
you
walk
in
the
person
at
the
door
is
security
right,
often
their
retired
police
officers
or
retired
military.
R
So
finding
out
that
there
wasn't
one
of
these
people
that
we
had
been
described
as
security
guards,
which
now
we
see
as
monitors
not
having
someone
at
that
door.
I
actually
felt
bad
for
my
or
felt
like
I
wasn't
doing
a
good
job
because
I
didn't
notice
it
either
until
the
kids
started
talking
about
it
that
they
no
longer
had
Mr
so-and-so
at
the
door
and
with
recent
events,
just
popping
where
we've
had
another
school
shooting
right,
we're
flying
our
flags
at
half
mast.
R
But
at
the
same
time
we
still
don't
have
these
positions
in
place
and
the
thing
that
I
have
an
issue
with
I
love.
The
presentation,
love
the
email,
I
love
the
thought
process
and
where
it's
looking
to
go,
but
unfortunately,
if
there
was
no
one
working
in
the
cafeteria
today
or
tomorrow,
I
would
get
a
phone
call
to,
and
you
guys
would
be
telling
me
to
bring
my
daughter's
lunch
to
school.
R
This
is
the
same
type
of
situation
where
these
parents
should
have
been
notified
that
there's
not
a
proper
person
in
place
or
proper
people
and
places
at
other
schools
I
feel
like
the
students
that
are
there.
They
can't
learn
if
they're
not
safe
and
we
drop
them
off
and
we
entrust
them
to
you
guys.
It's
you
know.
R
How
easy
it
was
for
people
to
walk
in
ninety
percent
of
all
mass
shootings
or
attacks
in
general
are
planned
and
we're
in
an
area
that
we
all
say
the
same
thing.
Oh,
it's
a
safe
neighborhood,
it's
a
good
neighborhood!
Well,
that's
where
you
go
to
to
complete
these
these
odd
attacks,
or
you
know,
sadistic
thoughts.
R
You
don't
go
to
an
area
that
already
has
Security
in
place
and
you
know:
I
grew
up
in
Philadelphia
we
had
metal
detectors,
we
had
two
police
officers
in
the
building
like
they
didn't
go
to
those
schools.
You
know
they're
going
to
these.
These
suburb
schools,
where
we
kind
of
are
relaxed
and
I
love
the
ideas
I
just
want
more
communication
and
that
it
shouldn't
fall
through
the
cracks
that
were
not
notified,
that
these
positions
are
left
open
or
unattended.
A
Okay,
actually,
we
have
a
three-minute
limitation
I.
Let
you
go
over
because
I'm,
just
intrigued
by
your
story
and
I.
Thank
you
for
coming.
Dr
bedden
will
address
your
situation.
Okay,.
R
I
appreciate
it
I
appreciate
the
contact
I
just
wanted
to
let
you
know
we
did
talk
today.
Some
communication
difficulties
over
the
last
two
weeks,
but
I
just
you
know.
These
updates
need
to
be
in
place
and
every
time
that
you
think
about
this
stuff.
I
know
everyone
here
has
children,
grandchildren
think
about
the
days
you
drop
them
off.
You
want
to
be
able
to
pick
them
up,
and
these
are
the
pieces
that
you
guys
have
to
think
of
in
advance
and
I
love
the
budget.
R
F
So
not
dragging
on
longer,
we
actually
had
a
conversation.
We
agreed
on
a
lot
of
things.
F
I
just
want
to
be
on
the
record
that
his
question
and
concern
about
being
told
of
the
change,
because
they
did
deploy
someone
else
to
cover
that,
but
they
didn't
know
that,
so
we
just
have
to
do
better
I'm
not
going
to
sugarcoat
that
and
the
principal's
here
and
I
understand.
You
know
he's
here.
Listening
to
the
concerns
and
Dr
best
has
heard
that
that
you
know
there's
nothing,
that's
not
something
we
cannot
not
share,
even
though
they
made
changes
to
have
other
people
cover.
Q
A
Q
F
C
F
F
Right,
it's
supposed
to
be
locked
and
I'll,
be
honest,
transparent
I've
had
to
visit
schools
and
remind
them
because
I've
walked
in
at
times
and
they've
corrected
it
when
the
door
was
propped
open,
okay
and
that
shouldn't
happen.
No
so,
and
you
know,
another
school
I
went
through
a
different
door.
That
I
knew
that
had
been
had
a
history
that
and
when
I
pointed
out,
it's
been
corrected.
You
can't
get
in
now.
So
it's
it's
changing
the
culture
and
the
mindset
to
this
point
that
we
get
comfortable
and
safe
feeling.
N
I
just
I
wanted
to
thank
you
for
speaking
I
know
you,
our
kids
are
in
the
same
school
and
if
you
don't
feel
safe,
sending
your
kids
out
the
door
in
the
morning,
then
every
Improvement
to
curriculum
or
test
scores
or
March
Madness
events,
don't
matter
so
I
want
you
to
know
that
everybody
here
takes
it
very
seriously
and
no
one
wants
to
see
anything
happen
to
our
kids,
your
kids,
anyone
our
teachers.
Anyone
so
thank
you.
I
appreciate
you
speaking
up.
Q

I
think
it's
great
that
the
Bucks

IU
has
a

That's
a
great
idea.
Why
does
it
have

We
have
wonderful

in

that
they
could

have

and
keep
the

in

Why
is
that

Is
there
a
second
second
thank
you,
and
this
is
broncato.
D
S
We
don't
have
a
two-man
scissor
lift
at
present.
We
only
have
two
single
man
lifts
which
we
use
at
the
high
school
two
times
a
month
at
least,
and
we
use
also
at
the
middle
schools
and
elementary
schools
when
needed-
probably
a
number
of
times
each
year,
at
least
maybe
about
maybe
about
five
to
ten
times
at
every
school
each
year,
but
the
high
school,
obviously
utilizes
them
the
most
twice
a
twice.
A
month,
approximately
yeah
those
two
single
man
lifts
we've
been
using
they're
about
30
years
old.
S
We
also
yes,
this
was
mainly
a
focus
of
a
safety
issue.
The
reality
is
is
that
those
man
lifts
while
we've
been
utilizing
our
own
resources
to
keep
them
up
to
date,
and
you
know,
even
though
their
age
is
showing
they
are
a
little
precarious
and
they're
only
about
an
18
inch
platform.
You
can't
bring
your
tools
with
you.
S
Sometimes
you
have
to
reach
over
there's
just
too
much
risk
involved
in
utilizing
them,
so
we're
trying
to
get
something,
that's
obviously
more
safe,
that
we
can
use
in-house
for
the
many
reasons
that
we
have
high
reach
needs
from
a
facility
perspective.
S
S
The
platform
height
is
obviously
at
the
26
feet,
and
you
have
the
rail
bars
that
extend
beyond
that.
So
you
could
reach
as
high
as
about
30
feet
with
an
individual
depending
on
the
individual's
height
okay,.
D
Is
it
a
two-wheeled?
Is
it
two
wheel,
drive
or
four
wheel
drive.
S
I
believe
it's
just
two
wheel
drive
it's
not
an
off:
it's
not
an
outside
vehicle.
It's
not
the
all-terrain
scissor
list
that
they
have.
This
is
electric
one
for
inside
use.
Okay,.
T
Yes,
it's
been
in
one
second
here,
actually
no
come
on
one
second
I
do
one
every
single,
Dimension
well,.
T
Okay,
give
me
a
second,
so
it
is
specifically
the
platform.
Height
is
25
feet,
5
inches
the
platform
capacity;
okay,
that's
not
what
you're
looking
for
the
maximum
Drive
height
is
21
feet.
D
Dimensions:
okay:
Alex!
Do
you
know
how
much
it
costs
to
rent
one
of
these
scissor
lifts
for
a
day.
S
For
a
day,
yes,
anywhere
from
260
to
500
a
day,
I.
D
Well,
I
I,
checked
local
rental
companies,
okay
and
the
dimensions
match
up
the
platform
Heights
match
up
they're.
Both
it
was
electric
that
I
looked
at
I
did
get
a
propane
price
also,
but
that's
not
what
you
need
and
it's
between
200
and
300
a
day.
We
would
need
to
use
this
machine
over
90
times
for
it
to
pay
off.
Do
we
one
other
question
I
have
is:
do
we
have
a
hydraulic
mechanic.
S
In-House
when
it
comes
to
our
mechanics
at
the
transportation
center
underneath
the
bus
garage,
one
of
our
mechanics
does
have
experience
with
hydraulic
work,
but
he's
not.
Obviously
we
don't
have
a
quote-unquote
job
description
for
a
hydraulic
mechanic.
S
D
You
know
how
often
a
scissor
lift
needs
to
be
maintained.
D
Three
months,
no
less
than
no
less
than
every
three
months.
That's
the
answer.
Alex
I
I
spoke
to
two
major
major
contractors.
Big
contractors
and
I
asked
them
why
they
don't
own
scissor
lifts
at
first
I
asked.
If
they
did,
they
did
not.
One
did
not
I'm
sorry,
one
did
not,
and
one
did
so.
I
asked
the
guy
that
had
them
I
said.
Do
you
use
your?
D
Do
you
use
your
scissor
lips?
How
do
you
take
them
to
different
job
sites?
He
said
it's
not
cost
effective.
It's
actually
cheaper
to
rent
them,
because
a
scissor
lift
has
to
be
maintained
at
least
every
three
months,
and
if
it
sits
it's
it's
not
like.
So
it
wears
out
because
you
use
it
too
much.
It
also
wears
out
when
you
don't
use
it
and
it's
not
cost
effective,
because
the
cost
of
a
hydraulic
mechanic
is
quite
high
and
you
you'll
shut
down
whatever
you're
doing.
D
If
you
get
it,
if
you
get
the
scissor
lift
and
it's
and
it
has
something
wrong
with
it,
because
now
you
have
to
wait
for
a
hydraulic
mechanic
to
come
out.
T
S
Five-Year
warranty
on
all
major
parts,
I.
D
D
It
really
cost
effective
to
purchase
one
instead
of
just
run
it
for
the
day,
use
it
for
what
you
need
and
they
deliver
it
and
pick
it
up
and
we're
not
responsible
for
the
hydraulic
mechanic.
We
don't
have
to
worry
about
it
sitting
around
Parts
on
it
becoming
defective
and
that's
the
end
of
the
story
we've
made
it
do
without
this
fancy.
Scissor
lift
that's
eighteen
thousand
dollars,
I
notice
on
the
agenda.
You
don't
have
the
ten
thousand
dollar
trailer
that
you
need
to
purchase.
Also,
maybe
that's
the
next
school
board
meeting
did.
S
D
Oh
I
didn't
look
that
far
away:
I
look
local
local
Bucks,
County
local
Mr,
Martin,
Bucks,
County
local
I,
looked
they're
right
here
in
Bucks
County,
so
I'm
just
asking.
Is
it
really
cost
effective
for
us
to
purchase
an
eighteen
thousand
dollar
scissor
lift
for
something
we
don't
use
very
often
when
we
could
rent
it
for
two
to
three
hundred
dollars
a
day.
S
Like
I
said,
we
utilize
it
approximately,
you
know,
probably
anywhere
from
30
to
40,
maybe
more
times
a
year,
depending
on
the
specific
need.
Obviously,
we
have
standard
uses
for
high
lift,
and
we
have
obviously
special
needs
that
this
would
obviously
resolve
any
future
rental.
And
so
the
reality
is.
Is
that,
while
that
day
cost
gives
you
a
misunderstanding
of
just
what
the
the
overall
cost
would
be?
S
But
if
you
were
to
do
a
day-to-day
rental,
when
you
need
it
number
one
you're
kind
of
beholding
to
the
fact
of
them
actually
having
one
and
number
two,
it
actually
adds
up
to
where
you're
incurring
thousands
of
dollars
in
rental
fees
per
year,
when
we
could
actually
just
have
the
piece
of
equipment
on
hand
and
ready
in
a
number
of
years,
the
rental
costs
will
exceed
that
18
000
purchase.
You.
S
Scissor
lifts
can
go
anywhere
from
10
to
20
years
easily,
like
any
other
piece
of
equipment
like
a
car
or
a
generator.
Well,.
D
They
don't
normally
last
20
years
because
of
the
high
maintenance.
U
S
So
this
was
one
of
the
best
options
we
had
available
when
we
presented
it
to
the
operations
committee.
Accordingly,.
A
A
L
Yeah
I
just
a
brief
follow-up.
Mike
did
get
some
information
from
Mr
Shepard
Mr
agreement
today
and
Dr
Baden,
but
because
of
the
time
frame
was
limited
since
I
only
found
out
about
this
Friday
afternoon
and
I
had
some
limited
Communications
I'd
like
to,
as
we
consider
tabling
this
until
the
next
meeting.
So
we
can
get
that
information
Mr
Shepherds,
that
they
did
a
significant
amount
of
research,
I'd
like
to
have
that
research.
L
This
is
a
pretty
big
dollar
amount,
we're
putting
on
the
taxpayers,
especially
when
you're
talking
about
maintenance,
getting
the
trailer
as
opposed
to.
Maybe
it
makes
sense.
At
least
maybe
it
makes
sense
to
rent.
Maybe
it
makes
sense
to
own
I,
don't
know,
but
I
don't
have
enough
of
that
information
in
front
of
me
to
make
a
decision
regarding
this
amount
of
money.
So
you
know
what
we
have
is
working
for
now.
Can
we
can
we
table
it
for
two
weeks?
Have
that
information
provided
to
us
in
two
weeks
from
now?
S
If
I
can
make
a
point
of
clarification,
the
scissor
lift
would
be
purchased
in
capital
dollars,
lent
renting
a
scissor
lift
would
be
operational
dollars,
which
would
actually
be
the
tax,
the
actual
operation
budget.
So
that's.
L
M
Or
I
would
second
Mr
King
of
Hearts
emotion,
but
my
question
is:
are
people
that's
operating
these
scissor
lifts
certified
to
operate
them?
This
is
a
requirement
for
that
too.
You.
S
Don't
need
a
certification
to
work,
operate
a
two-mances.
P
Excuse
me
I
would
just
like
to
say
from
years
of
experience
of
working
with
them
as
a
piece
of
equipment.
Mr
pancotta
was,
in
my
opinion,
correct
about
the
maintenance
on
it
there.
It's
a
very
good
machine
I
would
highly
recommend
it
for
the
school
to
get
I,
don't
believe
we
should
purchase
it
just
because
of
the
fact
that
it
does
require
a
lot
of
Maintenance.
That's
all
I'd
like
to
say.
Q
S
Yeah,
we
well
they're
one-man
lifts,
they're,
very
similar,
just
of
a
smaller
style
similar,
so
what
we
normally
do,
at
least
in
the
process,
that
I've
kind
of
formalized
here,
they've
kind
of
done
it
informally,
is
that
we
do
in-house
first.
So
our
building
supervisor
and
our
maintenance
team
will
look
at
the
piece
of
equipment
see
if
they
can
resolve
it.
S
If
it's
a
simple
issue
and
if
they
can't,
what
we'll
do
is
we
reach
out
to
the
bus
garage
for
those
mechanics
out
of
us
a
little
bit
more
familiar
with
these
types
of
hook,
equipment
or
at
least
more
complex
equipment?
So
we
try
to
exhaust
all
internal
options
and
then,
if
we
can't
solve
the
problem
with
the
equipment
on
these
lifts,
we
turn
to
some
of
our
regular
equipment.
Maintenance,
vendors
in
the
area
just.
Q
S
Could
easily
establish
a
preventative
maintenance
schedule
like
we
do
with
any
other
piece
of
equipment
in
the
in
the
school
district,
whether
that
be
HVAC
or
the
mowers
Etc,
where
we
can
do
that
simple
check
to
make
sure
that
everything's
in
working
operation,
those
three
months
aren't
necessarily
like
you
know
taking
it
apart
and
putting
it
back
together.
It's
really
just
a
review
of
of
condition,
and
that's
just
a
safety
mechanism
that
you
always
have
in
place
with
equipment
like
this.
A
L
Thank
you
I
make
a
notion
that
we
table
the
purchase
of
the
scissor
lift
and
the
port
be
provided
with
a
full
breakdown
of
all
the
costs
associated
with
ownership
purchase
price
maintenance,
the
trailer
to
move
it
anything
else,
including
long-term
maintenance
costs
as
it
gets
older.
It
needs
more
maintenance
and
also
like
comparison
of
that
to
leasing
or
running
based
on
our
average
use
or
expected
use.
A
Okay,
see
what
you're
saying
I'm
gathering
it
correct
me
if
I'm
in
error
that
you
want
a
full
report
on
this
piece
of
equipment,
correct,
correct
all
right!
There's
a
motion
on
the
floor
there's
a
second
and
that
is
to
table
this
to
next
month.
Next
next
school
board.
Meeting
the
25th.
Is
that
correct?
As
long
as
we
have
the
information
by
then.
L
U
Some
of
the
information
you're
you're
asking
for
is
is,
is
you
know
somewhat
fictitious
in
terms
of
the
number
of
times
you're
going
to
use
it.
This
is
a
piece
of
equipment
that
we
don't
use.
We
use
a
single
man
lifts
that
are
unstable
regularly,
so
we
can
use
that
as
the
basis,
because
we're
using
those
single
man
lifts
regularly.
We
regularly
have
people
up
on
high
ladders
in
precarious
situations.
U
It
requires
two
people
to
man,
a
one-man
scissor
lift
because
of
you
need
someone
to
catch
the
person
or
hand
up
tools,
so
they're
they're
they're,
not
apples
to
apples
and
apples,
they're
quite
different,
so
we
can
certainly
reach
out
after
this,
and
we
can
discuss
what
kind
of
analysis
you'd
like
it
is
the
recommendation
of
the
administration
and
the
recommendation
of
the
operations
committee
to
bring
forward
this
as
a
safety
tool
right
so
that
we
will
use
this
two-man
scissor
lift
many
more
times
than
we're
using
the
single
man
lift,
but
because
it
will
replace
ladders
that
are
up
25
feet
in
the
air.
U
It
will
replace
gentlemen
who
are
who
are
working
through
the
ceilings
working
in
the
in
the
pool
area
working
in
the
auditoriums,
so
that
the
use
isn't
I've
got
a
single
lift
here
and
I've
got
a
double
lift
here.
Just
for
clarification
on
the
analysis
that
you
would
like
us
to
provide
relative
to
this
I
know:
I
can
lease
for
a
year
a
scissor
lift
just
like
Mr
Shepard
had
shared
it
cost
ten
thousand
dollars
right.
U
So
ten
thousand
dollars
to
lease
it
for
a
year
compared
to
the
eighteen
thousand
dollars
to
own
it
for
God
willing,
30
years
I'm
not
going
to
go
I,
don't
know
him
and
say
it's
30
years,
but
I'll
give
it
five
years
at
the
worst
right
under
five
years.
It's
still
under
a
manufacturer's
warranty
under
one
year
it's
under
a
full
warranty.
So
there's
nothing.
U
That's
going
to
happen
in
the
first
three
one
first
year
and
probably
not
much
more,
that's
going
to
happen
after
five
years,
so
the
analysis
went
in
the
work
has
been
done.
I
believe
it
is
truly
a
safety
issue
for
our
folks
and
that's
what
we're
concerned
about
I.
Think
it
is
a
efficiency
for
our
team
to
be
able
to
use.
One
person
can
run
a
two-man,
a
scissor
lift.
He
can
take
his
tools
up
on
the
platform.
He
can
take
his
equipment
up
there.
He
doesn't
need
a
catcher.
U
He
doesn't
need
someone
handing
stuff
up,
so
we'd
actually
become
more
efficient
and
probably
saved
a
couple
of
shekels
in
labor,
because
one
person
can
take
the
can
do
the
job
by
themselves
using
that
tool.
So
I
rep
I
respect
your
your
your
request,
but
let's
we'll
have
to
a
journey
and
understand
what
Clarity
you're
looking
at
comparing
them,
because
the
two-man
scissor
lift
will
be
used
more
frequently
than
the
other
two
and
is
a
safer
tool
to
use.
I
think
as
Mr
Lyden
would
would
would
concur.
A
P
I
I
would
like
this
piece
of
equipment
being
used
in
the
school
districts,
just
like
Thomas
Greenwood
said
because
of
safety
issues.
I,
don't
believe
we
should
purchase
it
because
of
the
maintenance
problems
with
it
that
have
occurred
in
my
tenure
of
using
it
so
I.
For
that
reason,
I
would
say
we
should
not
buy
it,
but
I
strongly
recommend
the
school
district
rent
it
or
lease
it
or
whatever,
because
it
is
a
very
safe
piece
of
equipment
when
it's
working
so.
H
P
P
L
A
We
have
we
could
vote
that's
what
I'm
trying
to
do.
I've
really
tried
to.
We
have
a
motion
on
the
floor.
Thank
you
to
postpone
this
to
the
25th.
Is
that
credible
for
you?
Okay,
all
in
favor
of
postponing
this
piece
of
purchasing
this
piece
of
equipment
until
April,
24th
vote,
Yes
or
no
roll
call
Mrs.
A
L
P
A
A
Is
there
a
second
second?
Thank
you
all
in
favor
aye!
No!
No!
No!
No!
Excuse
me!
Okay,
let's
have
a
roll
call,
all
in
favor
of
putting
the
item
back
on
the
agenda
for
purchase
of
eighteen
thousand,
plus
plus.
B
So
we're
right
voting
on
the
original
motion.
Correct
purchase,
the
scissor
lift
okay,
Mr
Martin.
P
P
B
Okay
motion
fails
right.
Four:
four:
we
have
a
tie.
A
Let
me
have
a
point
of
clarity:
that'll
be
in
the
minutes,
I'm
with
Mr
Martin.
We
had
a
motion
that
failed
the
original
motion.
No,
the
motion
that
Mr
ginhardt
put
on
now.
We've
had
a
original
motion
that
has
also
filled.
Is
that
correct,
correct?
Yes,
that's
interesting!
A
Q
Does
anybody
wish
no
there's
only
one,
so
here
we
go
new
business
being
resolved
at
the
Centennial

District
Board
of
school
directors.

my

it's

These

Q
8.2

anyone
wish
to
pull
anything
under

seeing
none

at

A
second,
please.
O
You,
madam
president,
there
are
four
items.
Anyone
need
a
discussion
of
any
of
those
four
separately,
if
not
be
it
resolved.
Centennial

O
M
A
Know,
I'm
a
management,
Mr,
Martin,
great
job
next
item
on
the
agenders
item
10,
and
that
is
discussion,
board
discussion
and
comments.
I
would
just
like
to
lead
off
for
a
second.
If
you
don't
mind,
please
Dr
Ben
is
there
any
way
that
we
could
have
the
standing
committees
placed
on
the
regular
school
board
meeting
rather
than
on
the
meeting
we're
having
tonight?
My
reason
is
for
that
is
that
we're
having
the
meeting
tonight.
We
have
education
Wednesday.
We
have
education
week
operations,
we
have
Finance
following
this
meeting.
F
F
A
A
F
O
F
That's
kind
of
I
was
alluding
to
you've
kind
of
convoluted
the
the
difference
in
the
work
session
that
usually
isn't
an
action
meeting.
If
it
really
was
a
work
session,
so
you
basically
are
voting
at
both
meetings.
So
that's
why
I
said
you
could
because
you're
already
voting
at
both
meetings,
you've
already
kind
of
changed
the
structure.
A
D
D
The
second
thing
I
wanted
to
talk
about
was
I
just
wanted.
I
want
it
on
record
that
somebody
made
a
Facebook
post
and
somebody
else
took
a
screenshot
of
it.
I
am
flattered
that
the
person
took
a
screenshot
of
what
I
wrote.
I
appreciate
that
the
the
post,
the
gentleman
wrote,
was
really
just
asking
about
how
to
request
to
speak
at
the
school
board.
Meeting
I
answered
it.
Somebody
felt
the
need
to
take
a
screenshot
and
I.
D
D
I
said
what
I
had
to
say
to
Dr
Betten,
because
I
didn't
really
think
that
it
was
necessary
to
do
that,
but
we
we
think
differently.
That's
okay,
I
I
find
it
that
it's
a
it's
a
pattern
if
I
send
an
email
to
Dr,
Betten
or
I,
don't
really
email
the
cabinet
members,
but
if
I
send
an
email,
the
response
is
shared
with
all
of
you
and
I.
Don't
care
about
that
either,
but
I
never
get
in
an
email
response
for
when
all
of
you
email.
So
while
I'm
saying
is
I,
don't
care.
D
If
you
read
every
word
I
ever
write:
I,
don't
care
I,
don't
care
if
you
all
see
it,
but
from
now
on
I
want
to
see
everybody
else's,
because
I
am
not
the
only
one
that
sends
an
email
and
I
know
sure.
Shooting
I
am
not
the
only
one
that
comments
on
Facebook,
because
I
have
seen
some
of
your
comments
on
Facebook
and
here's
the
thing
it's
Facebook
I,
don't
really
care
what
you
do.
I,
don't
care
what
you
write,
but
I
I,
don't
want
to
be
the
star
student
all
the
time.
A
Of
course,
I
don't
write
any
second
of
all
social
media
not
to
go
in
back
into
this
Mrs
brancato
social
media
is
almost
disgusting
people
put
on
social
media
anything
they
want
I'm,
not
saying
you,
because
apparently
your
name
was
on
this.
It
is
dangerous,
extremely
dangerous.
They
have
websites
out
there
on
social
media.
This
is
just
my
opinion
that
are
a
group
somebody
put
something
on
and
you
could
be
offended,
but
if
you're,
not
a
member
of
the
group,
you
can't
comment
so
I.
D
Mrs
Mrs
Lynch
I
just
want
to
clarify
I,
didn't,
say
anything:
dangerous,
I
didn't
give
away
a
state
secret.
No
I
I
can
just
think
you
did
just
say
like
you're
saying
things
are
dangerous:
I,
don't
want
people
I,
guess
anything.
No,
no!
No!
Okay,
I
have
to
clear
up
what
I'm
saying
is:
I,
don't
care
if
you,
if,
if
I
put
it
on
Facebook
or
if
I
write
it
in
an
email,
my
mother
would
raise
no
fool.
If
you
put
it
in
writing
the
whole
world
can
see
it.
So
that's
how
I
live.
A
A
birthday
cake
what
I
use
the
clarification?
Please
excuse
me:
Mr
Martin
I
know
that
a
lot
of
candles,
Mr,
Martin
I,
know
that
you
and
your
wife
will
have
an
enjoyable
birthday
for
you
and
welcome
to
the
club
up
up,
but
at
any
rate,
when
I
use
the
terminology
of
dangerous
I
use
it
not
as
a
threat,
not
as
a
security
measure.
A
A
A
N
Back
to
something
as
boring
as
the
agenda,
but
we
do
give
reports
on
the
Committees
to
which
we
are
assigned
as
liaison's
as
well.
Usually,
when
I'm
giving
a
report
on
psba
I
tend
to
ask
the
president
whether
it
be
Charlie
or
you
know,
if
I
can
make
comments
and
my
capacities
liaison
for
Centennial
Education
Foundation.
Can
we.
A
Q
Q
Thank
you
very
much
I'm
going
to
highlight
a
couple
of
sections
here.
So,
if
you'll
bear
with
me,
I
want
to
read
through
a
couple
of
things:
the
Bucks
County
Intermediate
Unit
shares
with
basically
the
world
that
can
hear
on.
Q
It's
called
the
awesome
news
and
they
showcase
a
lot
of
different
aspects
of
their
programs
on
a
monthly
basis,
one
of
the
ones
that
I
wanted
to
share.
This
is
from
our
March
meeting
our
next
one
is
actually
next
week:
Residential
Treatment,
Facility,
I,
don't
know
if
folks
know
that
that
the
Bucks
has
this,
but
Wood
services
is
a
Bucks
County
resident
Residential,
Treatment
Facility
serving
children,
ages,
5
to
21,
with
education,
behavioral
and
mental
supports
on
campus.
There
are
limited
opportunities
for
community
and
typical
School
experiences
for
many
of
these
children.
Q
The
Buck's
IU,
when
serving
the
local
Education
Agency
Lea
for
some
of
these
students
Works
to
have
them
attend.
Off-Campus
education
programs,
attending
classes
in
an
inclusion
environment,
provides
increased
educational
options,
an
opportunity
to
experience
peer
models
and
a
Community
Connection
reduced
isolation
and
enhance
skill
acquisition
and
generalization.
This
has
been
since
2015.
The
Bucks
IU
has
had
85
students
from
the
Wood
services
facility,
attend
off-campus
programs
and,
let's
see
programs
at
the
Bucks
IU
at
Samuel
Everett,
and
has
learned
these
folks.
Q
This
is
just
an
example,
a
particular
student
just
an
example
of
what
they
learn
to
do.
They
learn
how
to
take
a
bus
participate
in
community
trips
and
even
participate
in
internships
where
they
work
independently
with
close
supervision.
So
this
is
a
wonderful,
wonderful
program
for
some
of
our
students
that
require
some
additional
assistance
and
learning
how
to
just
get
through
day
to
day.
You
know,
thank
you
all
right
and
hosting
them.
They
are
also.
Q
They
also
were
had
hosted
and
provided
training
for
Juvenile
Justice
Facility
Personnel,
that
was
on
February
17th
professional
development
day
for
Juvenile
Justice
facilities
in
Montgomery,
Chester,
Lancaster
and
Bucks
counties
were
held
at
the
Bucks
County
Youth
Center
and
hosted
by
the
Bucks
IU,
and
that
is
also
the
residential
treatment
facilities
programs.
The
Buck's
IU
LED
school
psychologist,
Jeff
Walter,
presented
a
highly
informative,
updated
and
relevant
presentation
on
Trump
drama,
as
currently
defined
in
the
managed
and
managed
to
optimize
student
outcomes.
Q
Although
many
have
had
trauma-informed
care
training,
which
is
very
specific,
there
are
emerging
strategies
in
the
areas
of
executive,
functioning
and
executive
skills
that
can
have
a
significant
positive
impact
on
the
quality
of
life
of
our
students.
So
I
like
to
see
that
we're
constantly
working
to
educate
the
folks
that
are
helping
these
students
and
that's
my
report
for
now.
Oh
one
more
thing:
yes,
one
more
and
you
can
follow
the
Buck's
IU,
which
they
are
they're,
always
doing.
Q
A
N
Please
Pennsylvania
School
boards
Association.
We
might
get
to
know
that
next
Tuesday
is
advocacy
day.
I
will
be
participating
on
our
behalf
and
looking
forward
to
it.
Sessions
will
include
representative
Monroe
and
Senator
Ferry
they're
scheduled
to
join
us
that
day.
It
is
the
culminating
event,
as
I've
mentioned
before,
of
the
policy
Institute
program
that
I've
been
part
of
over
the
past
year
and
I'll
also
be
joining
some
follow-up
chats
with
psba
organize
users
about
ways
to
improve
that
program
next
year.
N
So
I'm
looking
forward
to
those
chats
as
well,
and
if
it
pleased
the
court
might
I
give
an
update
on
Centennial
Education
Foundation.
Briefly
as
it
is
not
on
the
agenda,
but
I
would
love
to
give
some
information.
We'd
love
for
you
to
give
this
update.
Wonderful.
Thank
you.
The
annual
CEF
Awards
breakfast
will
be
held
at
Anne's.
Choice
on
April
21st
I'll
be
present,
as
I'm
sure
will
several
of
my
fellow
directors
I'm
very
much
looking
forward
to
that.
It's
always
a
great
celebration
of
our
students
and
our
teachers
and.
A
Q
What
I
have
in
regard
to
the
legislative
report
in
the
past
since
new
folks
took
their
office
and
were
newly
elected?
There
were
a
couple
of
months
of
kind
of
trying
to
figure
out
their
new
normal.
There
were
some
hiccups
and
there
were
not
many
sessions.
So
this
time
around,
we
have
for
Pennsylvania
Senate
session
schedule.
We
have
a
much
Fuller
schedule.
Q
April
will
be
in
session
for
state
senate
24th,
25th
and
26th
May,
1st,
2nd
3rd,
8th,
9th
and
10th,
and
in
June
a
slew
of
dates:
567
19th,
20th,
21st,
22nd,
23rd,
26,
27,
28th,
29th
and
30th
the
house
session.
This
was
the
one
that
had
absolutely
nothing
up
until
recently:
April
24th,
25th
and
26th
again
and
May,
1st,
2nd
3rd
22nd,
23rd,
24th,
June
and
practically
the
whole
month
again:
five
fifth,
sixth,
seventh,
twelve
Thirteenth
Fourteenth,
twenty
twenty
for
22nd
26th,
27,
28th,
29th
and
30th.
Q
The
other
thing
that
I
wanted
to
review-
and
this
is
of
interest
to
us,
the
house,
education
committee
members-
have
been
appointed
and
they
are
Peter:
schweire,
Joe,
Cerise,
Mary,
Louise,
Isaacson,
Tara,
Probst,
Gina,
Curry,
Carol,
kazim,
Ishmael,
Smith,
Wade,
L,
Carol,
Hill,
Evans,
Napoleon,
Nelson,
Maureen,
Madden,
Mark,
Rossi,
hello,
Friel,
Jesse,
topper,
Joe,
d'orsi,
Jason,
ordadehay
and
Barbara
gleam
John,
Schlegel,
yep,
Miller,
Mackenzie,
Stephanie,
sheilaba
and
Robert
McCurry
and
Craig,
SATs
and
I.
Think
it's
important
to
know
this,
because
these
are
the
folks
that
are
making
decisions
for
our
schools.
Q
That
I
can
see.
Thank
you
and
then
Governor
Shapiro's
budget
address
on
education.
Specifically,
there
was
a
commitment
to
a
certain
level
of
increase
for
Education
budgets.
However,
the
education,
the
percentage
that
was
presented
at
the
time,
seem
to
be
exciting,
but
with
our
inflation
it
winds
up
being
kind
of
a
wash.
So
it's
something
we're
looking
forward
to
in
the
future
to
see
if
there
are
some
accommodations,
more
accommodations
made
we're
kind
of
a
Dr
bed
and
you
might
be
able
to
add
a
little
bit
more
to
that.
A
M
You
so
much
we
had
our
meeting
yesterday
and
we
actually
got
the
presentation
on
our
audit
and
it
had
some
real
issues
in
it.
Unfortunately,
everything
is
working
out
in
the
end,
but
there
were
a
number
of
issues
that
dealt
with
numbers.
M
You
know
falling
back
into
the
previous
school
year
falling
into
the
coming
the
current
school
year,
so
it
was
kind
of
a
Troublesome
audit
review
to
be
presented
to
us,
but
it
is
a
fault
free
in
the
end,
with
all
the
adjustments
and
there
were
20
of
them
and
that's
historically,
a
large
number
of
adjustments
in
the
budget
or
in
an
order.
M
Besides
that
we
changed
a
couple
of
job
descriptions
and
approved
them
with
some
new
salaries.
It's
particularly
related
to
the
pims
and
our
supervisory.
You
know
type
of
work
at
mbit.
M
On
top
of
that,
we've
gotten
a
number
of
Grants
grants
is
still
under
review.
We
got
50
000
and
there
will
be
spent
on
getting
an
electric
car
so
that
the
students
in
the
automotive
programs
can
get
the
experience
and
working
on
the
new
technologies
in
that
area.
M
We
also
had
two
students
attending
an
automotive
training
program
that
gave
them
over
two
hundred
thousand
dollars
in
scholarship
money,
as
mentioned
by
the
student
from
mbit.
You
know
the
builders
trade
group,
you
know
were
at
the
mbit
and
we
had
30
companies.
You
know
going
through
the
work
Fair,
where
students
truly
had
opportunities
to
obtain
jobs
and
experience
really
interviews.
M
We
also
have
in
the
process
a
couple
of
students
that
worked
in
the
engineering
program
computer
engineering
program.
There
are
now
pursuing
a
patent
for
their
work.
This
is
real
life
work
that
was
being
performed
for
a
company
and
it
is
new
processing
that
would
allow
them
to
pursue
a
patent
for
their
program.
A
Thank
you
and
thank
you
for
your
complete
honesty
in
that
audit.
We
truly
appreciate
it.
It
takes
a
man
to
stand
up
and
say
there
are
flaws
and
different
things.
Thank
you
once
again,
next
item
is
at
12.
That's
Communications
I
personally
do
not
have
any
so
we
will
move
forward
to
13
additional
public
comments.
I
don't
have
any
green
cards
so
we'll
move
forward
with
that
and
removed
item
14
a
board
meeting
calendar
Mr
Martin.
Please.
O
That's
a
short
list:
April
18th,
7
PM
is
the
Bucks
County
IU
board
meeting.
We
will
reassemble
on
April
25th
at
7
pm,
May
8th,
the
mbit
executive
council
at
5
30,
and
we
will
again
reassemble
God
willing
on
May
9th
at
seven
o'clock
here.
