C
B
A
A
B
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
the
council
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh
does
hereby
command
alliance
for
period
supplies
for
their
courageous
service
during
the
crisis
and
being
further
resolved
that
the
council
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh
does
hereby
declare
the
week
of
monday
may
24th
through
sunday
may
30th

awareness
week
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
A
B
Presents
bill
number
1535
now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
at
the
council
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
Just
hereby
commend
the
beach
view
area
concerned
citizens
for
their
dedication
to
beach
view
and
be
a
further
resolve
at
the
control
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
This
hereby
declares
saturday
may
29
2021
to
be
beach
view
area
concerned
citizens
day
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
D
I
just
really
wanted
to
take
the
time
to
thank
the
victory
area
concerned
citizens.
I
was
actually
a
member
vice
president.
Many
many
years
ago,
they've
been
around
forever
they're
relentless
in
the
neighborhood.
They
really
do
a
lot
of
things,
but
currently
they're
planting
flowers
and
making
it
beautiful
up
there
to
because
we're
gonna
have
a
ribbon
cutting
for
a
new
veterans,
war
monument-
and
you
know
it's.
D
B
Councilwoman
strasberger
presents
bill
number
1534,
not
therefore
being
resolved
that
the
city
of
pittsburgh
supports
reimagine,
appalachia
efforts
to
build
a
21st
century
economy.
That's
good
for
workers,
communities
and
the
environment
and
encourages
members
of
the
state
of
pennsylvania
congressional
delegation
to
support
the
framework
of
reimagine
appalachia
through
federal
action
to
enact
the
appalachian
climate
infrastructure
plan
and
may
have
further
resolved.
That
a
copy
of
this
will
of
counsel
shall
be
sent
to
the
allegheny
county
delegation
of
the
pennsylvania
state
house
and
senate.
B
A
F
Thank
you
just
thanks
to
the
reimagine
appalachian
coalition,
and
this
is
an
effort
that
extends
throughout
the
four
state
region
of
appalachia
and
we're
working
to
get
local
officials
from
all
over
the
region.
All
of
those
four
states
to
sponsor
resolutions
like
this-
and
you
know
the
effort-
is
to
encourage
state
leaders
and
federal
leaders
to
put
money
into
the
region
so
that
we
can
compete
with
the
likes
of
the
eastern
east
coast
and
the
west
coast
cities
and
build
jobs
that
are
truly
healthy
for
the
environment,
for
our
people.
A
Thank
you,
councilwoman,
any
other
members
that
moves
us
on
to
our
next
order
of
business,
which
is
public
comment.
I
would
like
to
remind
everyone
that
the
rules
of
council
state
the
comments
are
limited
to
matters
of
concern.
Official
action
or
deliberation
which
are
or
may
be
before,
city,
council,
profanity
and
threats
will
not
be
permitted
or
tolerated,
and
I
do
want
to
say
that
we
do
have
some
new
rules
that
we
were
received
from
our
law
department.
A
I'm
going
to
go
over
those
with
the
members
and
we're
going
to
make
sure
we
start
enforcing
some
of
our
our
rules,
but
I
think
right
now
it's
a
discussion
we
have
to
have
with
members.
May
we
have
the
first
speaker,
please,
madam
clerk.
C
G
Okay,
I
just
wanted
to
thank
deb
gross
for
being
this
being
a
leader
that
this
city
council
needs
back
in
december.
I
told
you
all
that
it
was
time
for
bill
judo
to
go
now.
I
didn't
come
on
here
to
best
anybody
for
endorsing
him,
but
I
want
those
who
are
up
for
re-election
to
know
that
your
seat
is
not
secure.
G
H
H
Its
citizens
but
failed
miserably
to
do
so.
I
would
like
to
honor
and
pay
homage
to
those
unsung
people
who
were
killed
due
to
police
misconduct:
bernard
rogers,
david
streeter,
ramir,
talley,
mark
daniels,
michelle
rankin,
jerome
smith,
ruth
kelly,
jerry
jackson
and
johnny
gammage,
to
name
a
few
right
here
in
our
own
city
in
this
city.
If
you
speaking
about
bridging
the
divide,
you
must
address
these
issues
of
accountability,
accountability
for
your
actions,
whether
a
lawsuit
is
brought
or
not.
H
H
My
brother
would
have
been
turning
50
years
old
this
year,
but
he
won't
have
that
honor
and
that
privilege
to
turn
50,
because
someone
couldn't
follow
the
rules.
Why
are
there
rules
that
they
are
not
going
to
be
enforced
by
your
municipality?
The
sworn
to
protect
and
defend
and
public
safety
is
an
issue.
I
On
greetings,
everyone
in
the
cash
alaka
in
my
title
is
shaman
amaya
mom
yahala,
the
iroquois
confederacy
of
aboriginal
american
people,
and
I
would
like
to
add
that
there
are
incidents
where
your
municipal
officers
are
also
causing
injury
that
don't
result
in
death,
but
do
result
in
lifelong
injury,
permanent
injury
to
many
people.
My
daughter
included,
as
she
was
traveling
about
the
land
on
penn
avenue
officers
going
against
the
speed
limit,
with
no
sirens,
no
notification
that
they
were
coming
as
they
were.
I
Turning
to
make
a
turn
were
side
smashed
into
a
barrier
at
the
corner
of
penn
avenue
and
negley
avenue,
which
is
on
video,
and
there
are
pictures
my
daughter
was
rushed
to
the
emergency
room.
Where
now
she
suffers
from
permanent
back
injury,
permanent
migraine,
headaches
that
last
for
hours
and
days,
at
a
time,
injury
to
her
knee
where
she's
unable
to
really
walk
the
way
she
used
to
walk
her
quality
quality
of
life
has
been
damaged.
I
I
I
don't
know
if
you're
even
aware
of
this-
maybe
they
swept
it
under
the
rug
but
again
going
beyond
the
speed
limit,
no
lights
or
no
emergency
lights,
to
make
people
aware
that
they're
that
they're
coming
and
not
even
able
to
slow
down
when
they
see
an
automobile
in
front
of
them,
that
is
on
the
throw
affair
in
a
legal
manner
according
to
your
codes
policies
and
statutes
and
ordinances
and
such
a
life.
This
is
problematic.
I
I
I
She
was
pushed
onto
the
sidewalk
into
this
wall
on
the
side
of
key
bank,
so
the
video
footage
is
there.
It
is
clear.
The
the
pictures
that
were
taken
at
the
scene
is
clear
that
the
officers
had
no
remorse
and
and
and
in
fact
I
would
say
it
was
malice
and
unconcerned,
because
there
was
never
even
a
check,
a
welfare
check
that
they
love
to
do
in
people's
homes.
A
Injuries,
thank
you
and
that
exhausts
our
list
of
registered
speakers
and
we'll
now
move
on
to
the
presentation
of
papers
and
we'll
begin
with
councilman
reverend
ricky
burgess,
chair
of
urban
recreation,
no
new
papers.
Madam
president,
thank
you

E
Madam
president,
very
pleased,
yes
yeah.
Thank
you
very
much.
I
want
to
speak
in
a
reference
to
bills,
1493
and
1498,
which
are
known
as
the
southside
signals
project.
That
is,
the
redesign
and
re-signaling
of
intersections
on
18th
street,
at
sarah
jane
josephine
mission,
arlington
and
amanda,
and
as
part
of
this
project.
Anyone
who
is
listening
that
travels
the
intersection
of
18th
and
josephine
is
going
to
be
absolutely
ecstatic
that
we
are
finally
going
to
rebuild
the
intersection
with
the
traffic
signal.
E
I
can
remember
as
far
back
as
even
15
18
years
ago,
when
I
was
really
just
involved
in
organizations
like
the
south
side,
community
council
officers,
police
officers
and
neighbors
alike
petitioning
for
a
redesign
of
that
intersection,
and
so
the
monies
have
been
awarded.
The
contracts
are
being
sorted
through
now.
We
expect
them
to
be
awarded
in
the
fall
and
actual
physical
construction
to
begin
in
very
early
2022.
E
So
there's
a
whole
lot
of
people
they're
going
to
be
very
excited
about
this
project
coming
to
fruition,
and
I
just
want
to
recognize
the
stalwart
commit
commitment
of
the
peduto
administration
to
bring
this
into
fruition.
It's
it's
a
long
long
time
coming
and
people
are
going
to
be
very
happy
to
see
it
happen.
So
thank
you
very
much.
J
J
This
is
the
20-foot
vacation
because,
as
I've
had
many
discussions
now
with
domi-
and
I
do
appreciate
that
they
say
that
it's
okay,
but
that
there
still
really
isn't
a
design
for
this
intersection,
let
alone
the
length
of
21st
which
has
a
nearly
20
year
old
vision
plan
for
it
to
be
a
pedestrian
welcoming
connection
to
our
riverfront
trail,
which
is
finally
getting
built
out,
and
I
feel
that
this
is
rash
and
I'll
I'll
be
voting
no
on
bill
1367
today.
But
I
on
other
bills,.

A
D
Madam
president,
yes,
oh
thank
you.
I
have
a
correction
to
make
you
know
earlier.
I
said
I
was
the
vice
president
of
the
beach
area
concerned
citizen
who
I'm
doing
a
proclamation
for
on
saturday,
and
we
did
today
and
my
friend
and
you
know,
bacc
president
phyllis
didiano
called
me
and
reminded
me
that
I
was
not
indeed
bacc.
I
was
the
beecher
merchants
association.
D
So
so
just
an
honest
mistake-
and
I
just
wanted
to
make
that
correction
and
thank
you
phyllis
for
all
the
hard
work
you
do.
E
E
Yeah,
madam
president,
this
afternoon's
public
hearing
at
1
30
on
the
renaming
of
the
playground
in
oakland
yeah,
and
are
you
cheering
am
I
cheering
is
huge?
It's
no!
It's
entirely
up
to
you,
madam
president,
I'm
happy
to
let
you
cheer.
Okay,
then
I'll,
be
happy
to
chair.
A
I'm
just
going
to
say
I
want
to
thank
mayor
peduto
and
his
administration
for
the
past
eight
years
that
they've
worked
with
us.
We've
built
a
really
good
working
relationship.
A
I
want
to
thank
all
the
people
that
ran
in
this
election,
including
my
my
own
opponent,
because
these
are
not
easy
things
to
do
and
to
put
yourself
in
such
vulnerable
positions,
and
so
I
want
to
thank
everyone,
I'm
actually
meeting
with
my
own
opponent
in
a
week
or
so,
and
I
just
want
to
say
that
I
want
to
congratulate
mr
gainey
on
his
nominee
nomination
for
the
democratic
endorsement.
We
don't
know
what
this
next
election
holds.
We
don't
know
what
will
happen
in
the
fall.
A
We
don't
know
if
there's
other
people
running,
but
I
will
say
that
I
think
this
council
is
really
committed
to
making
sure
the
city
of
pittsburgh
is
on
a
really
secure
path
and
will
work
together
to
do
what
we
need
to
do
to
look
out
for
the
interests
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh
and
hopefully
we'll
be
able
to
work
with
our
next
mayor
and
build
the
relationships
that
we
did
with
mayor
padua-
and
I
was
it-
took
a
lot
of
effort
on
our
part
to
build
the
relationship
that
we
had,
but
I
became
so
accustomed
to
tag
and
dan
gilman
and
things,
and
I
think,
knowing
how
hard
they
worked,
and
I
also
want
to
say
my
thoughts
and
prayers
are
for
dan
gilman.
A
His
family
is
his
mother's,
going
through
some
difficult
health
challenges
right
now
as
well.
But
I
just
want
to
congratulate
everyone
who
ran
and
thank
everyone
for
running
and
looking
forward
to
working
with
people
over
the
next
seven
months
for
sure
and
whatever's
to
come
in
january.
Does
anybody
else
want
to
say
anything.
A
Okay,
well,
I'm
just
going
to
end
it
with
we.
I
think
we'll
do
something
to
make
sure
we
acknowledge
the
work
that
mayor
peduto
and
his
administration
has
done.
I
think
it's
a
very
it's
a
challenging
time
for
a
lot
of
people,
because
not
knowing
what
their
what
their
future
holds.
So
I
just
want
to
say
that
we're
we're
willing
to
work
with
everyone.
