A
Hi
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
aims.
My
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
for
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
program.
The
first
precious
gated,
we're
going
to
look
at
today
is
Sweet.
Pea
sweet
pea
was
turned
in
by
her
owner.
She
was
actually
there
was
a
sibling
that
came
in
with
sweet
pea.
They
didn't
get
along
very
well
here
on
the
kennels
I
guess
they
under
they
got
along
better
at
home,
but
sweet
pea
didn't
like
sharing
her
kennel
with
her
here.
A
So
we
did
separate
them
and
her
sister
did
get
adopted,
but
sweet
pea
is
available.
She's
about
a
year
old.
She
has
been
spayed.
She
does
have
all
of
her
claws
and
she's
a
very
active
kitty.
You
could
probably
hear
her
purring
and
she's
coming
up
to
give
us
a
personal
little
song
there,
but
sweet
pea
is
available
for
adoption
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
Let's
show
him
your
pretty
sight
so
come
on
down
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
look
at
Sweet
Pea.
A
A
lot
of
energy
definitely
needs
to
be
an
indoor
cat
like
all
of
our
cats.
We
want
them
to
be
indoors
and
safe
and,
as
we
know
right
now,
the
I
have
a
winters
are
upon
us
and
it's
really
cold
out
there.
So
it's
safer
for
them
to
be
inside,
not
just
the
cats
but
the
dogs
as
well
so
come
on
down
and
meet
Sweet
Pea
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
A
Here
I
have
with
me:
pebbles
pebbles
came
into
us
as
a
stray
in
October,
and
the
owners
never
came
for
her
and,
of
course,
pebbles
did
not
have.
Unfortunately,
she
did
not
have
any
identification,
so
no
microchip
no
tags
no
way
for
us
to
get
her
back
to
her
real
family.
So
she
is
available
for
adoption.
We're
estimating
that
she's
about
a
year
and
a
half
to
two
years
old
she
has
been
spayed.
A
She
does
have
all
of
her
claws
seems
to
be
a
pretty
gentle
kitty,
she's
just
kind
of
checking
out
the
room
here
and
wanting
to
know
when
she
can
go
play
with
the
toys
over
there,
but
she
seems
to
be
a
gentle
cat
again,
one
and
a
half
to
two
years
old,
already
spayed
and
she's
ready
to
go
home
so
come
on
down
to
games,
animal
shelter.
If
you
want
to
meet
pebbles.
A
Our
next
guest
with
me
here
today
is
mb.
A--
zambia
came
into
us
as
a
stray.
Unfortunately,
she
also
didn't
have
any
identification
or
any
way
for
us
to
get
her
back
home
seems
to
be
a
real
sweet
cat.
She
came
to
us.
She
was
not
spayed,
so
we've
already
spayed
her.
So
we
want
to
make
sure
that
mb
is
not
creating
a
cat,
overpopulation
issue
but
Zambia
female
about
a
year
old
as
we're
at
what
we're
estimating
definitely
on
the
smaller
side,
a
cat,
she's
kind
of
tall
but
she's.
A
Definitely
a
thinner
cat
she's,
a
beautiful
what
you
would
call
a
dilute,
calico
and
white
here.
She's
got
that
really
beautiful
white
coloring
and
then
the
other
colors
kind
of
orange
and
grey
and
black
mixed
in
so
just
a
nice
cat.
She
wants
to
go
down
and
play
with
the
toys
that
she's
looking
at
down
there,
but
come
on
down
to
meet
Zambia
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter,
she's.
Looking
for
a
forever
home.
A
Our
final
guest
today
is
neiman
Neiman
I'm,
not
sure
why
Neiman
hasn't
been
adopted.
Yet
he
maybe
he's
got
too
much
energy
he's
being
a
little
calm
right
now,
which
is
a
good
thing,
but
he's
one
of
those
that
when
we
go
there
in
the
morning
to
give
him
his
food,
he
jumps
up
on
our
shoulders
right
out
of
his
kennel
Neiman's
about
a
six
month
old
domestic
Shorthair,
beautiful
orange
tabby,
we'll
see
here
get
a
little
playful
about
six
months
old.
He
has
been
neutered,
so
he
is
ready
to
go
to
his
forever
home.
A
A
Thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
names.
Please
remember:
that's
just
a
small
sampling
of
the
animals
that
we
have
available
here
for
adoption
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
We
have
lots
of
others
to
look
at
and
adopt
it,
neither
forever
homes
and
don't
forget
those
that
have
been
here
for
a
long
time.
Angel
is
a
good
example.
She's
been
here
over
two
hundred
something
days.
