From YouTube: East Biloxi infrastructure update, July 15, 2016
Description
Project manager Joel Murrah, with Oscar Renda Contracting, the firm rebuilding and replacing infrastructure covering 55 miles of streets north the CSX railway in east Biloxi, provided this update on the project.
A
My
name
is
Joe
Lamar
I'm,
the
project
manager
for
Oscar
render
contracting
assigned
to
the
north
project.
We
alone
with
the
city
of
Biloxi,
wanted
to
give
you
an
update
as
to
the
work
currently
taking
place.
You'll
notice
a
long
division
street
on
the
east
end
of
the
project
that
the
gravity
sewer
trunk
line
has
been
installed
all
the
way
to
fountain
lane.
Along
with
that,
the
side
street
gravity
sewer
lines
are
also
complete.
Up
to
fountain
you'll
see
some
connections
taking
place
all
the
way
to
lower
court.
A
Sometime
this
week,
back
bay,
road--
restoration
has
started
and
we
finished
approximately
2,000
foot
of
the
road.
So
great,
hopefully,
you'll
see
pavement
from
Oak
Street
to
Crawford
Street
on
back
base
sometime
next
week,
also
on
Crawford
Street.
Currently,
the
storm
drain
is
being
installed
pipe
north
and
south
of
division
street.
We
anticipate
finishing
that,
along
with
the
gravity
sewer
in
that
area
at
some
point
next
week
on
the
west
end
of
the
project,
we
have
completed
the
gravity,
sewer
trunk
line
from
keon
by
a
sewage
treatment
plant
all
the
way
to
Division
Street.
A
We
have
a
crew
currently
installing
the
gravity,
sewer
main
old
seal
avenue
south
they
should
be
finished
next
week
as
it
stands
right
now,
we'll
have
a
storm
drain
proved
as
soon
as
the
gravity
sewers
finished
on
seals,
starting
if
everything
goes
according
to
plan,
we
anticipate
actually
being
able
to
put
the
first
course
of
pavement
down
still
Avenue
sometime
in
August
upon
sales
completion.
You
can
anticipate
the
same
methodology
being
employed
to
do
Graham
street
Aquarians
and
further
streets
heading
west.
As
always,
we
appreciate
your
patience.
