Livability
named
bloomington
number
36
of
the
50
best
places
to
live
in
the
u.s
in
2022,
the
article
mentioned
mall
of
america,
highland
parks
reserve
and
the
japanese
garden
at
normandale
community
college
and
said
the
amenities
in
the
city
are
enviable,
plus
it
named
a
number
of
bars,
restaurants,
major
industries
and
employers.
It
also
pointed
out
the
city's
commitment
to
racial
equity
and
inclusion
work
due
to
extreme
heat.
The
town
hall
event
with
mayor
tim
bussey
had
to
be
postponed.
It
was
originally
scheduled
for
tuesday
july
19th
at
the
normandale
lake
bandshell.
A
It's
been
rescheduled
to
wednesday
august
17th
at
the
oak
grove
middle
school
auditorium
from
7
to
8,
30
pm
you'll
be
able
to
ask
questions
and
learn
about
ongoing
and
upcoming
city
projects.
At
the
event,
a
new
three
night
festival
is
aimed
at
making
music
and
the
arts
more
inclusive
in
bloomington.
C
So
it's
going
to
be
a
really
cool
opportunity
for
people
to
come
out
to
normandale
and
experience
music
that
we
typically
haven't
featured
in
the
arts
and
the
parks
series.
That
was
one
of
the
goals
of
doing
the
the
on
the
one
festival
was
to
kind
of
introduce
some
new
music
styles
to
our
arts
in
the
park
series.

Things
so
to
be
here
and
to
represent
not
only
my
community
but
to
represent
community
well,
take
a
part
in
something
that
represents
my
community,
typically
doing
it
in
an
environment
that
we're
not
always
in
out
here
in
bloomington
and
then
at
the
same
time.
You
know
it's
just
food
and
music,
I
mean
that's
the
one
place
you
can
go
where
it
doesn't
matter
what
walk
of
life
you're
from
what
you
do.
Everybody
wants
to
come
together
and
have
a
good
time.
B
I
would
love
for
you
to
come
out
to
come
to
this
show
we
have
put
so
much
work
into
it
and
we're
representing
the
state
of
minnesota,
the
music
scene
on
a
high
level
and
we're
representing
you
all,
each
and
every
one
of
you
so
come
on
out.
It's
free,
it's
open
to
the
public
and
your
presence
will
be
a
present.
Thank
you.
