The

went
into

were
focusing
on
educating
and
advising
residents
about
the
changes
to
the

right
now
we
are
picking
up
enforcement
to
make
sure
everyone
has
a

on
the

We
can
continue
to
have
this
incredible,
unique

to
make
everyone's
experience
is
much
more
pleasant

The

is
upgrading
old,
fragile
pipes
that
were
installed
in

a
new
efficient
system
that
uses
water
saving
technologies.
The

trees

flowers.
Once
the
project
is
done,
visitors
to
the
Pearl

Mall
should
notice
anything
other
than
beautiful
scenery.
It's.
C
All
underground,
basically,
we've
done,
is
open
up
the
infrastructure
of
the
mall
being
the
bricks
and
enslaved
from
planter
to
planter
across
the
entire
area,
which
gives
us
the
option
of
being
able
to
repair
it
readily.
What
they'll
notice
is
hopefully
not
much
except
the
pretty
flowers
and
those
sorts
of
things
that
grow
down
here
in.
A
Addition
to
irrigation
improvements,
5
ash
trees
will
be
removed
and
nine
new
disease
resistant
trees
will
be
planted
on
the

Trees
were
planted
on
the
1200
and
1300
blocks
in
the
spring
of
2014,
depending
on
whether
crews
hope
to
complete
the

before

Boulder
Fire
Rescue
is
accepting
applications
for
a
second
annual
citizens
fire
academy.
The
free
seven
week
course
will
give
community
members
a
hands-on
overview
of
all
things:
Boulder
Fire
Rescue,
including
station
tours
extrication
from
vehicles,
specialty
teams
and
wildland
fire
risk
and
mitigation.
Well,.
E
The
citizens
academy
is
an
opportunity
for
members
of
the
community
to
work
with
the
fire
department.
Learn
not
just
what
firefighters
do
the
broad
array
of
services
we
provide,
but,
more
importantly,
them
to
be
able
to
take
some
practical
skills
back
with
them.
Some
knowledge
how
to
protect
themselves
or
loved
ones
or
families.
So
it's
more
than
just
an
opportunity
to
learn
about
the
firefighting
profession,
but
also
to
get
hands-on
practical
experience
at
what
we
do.
The.
A
Citizens
Fire
Academy,
is
free
to
Boulder
residents
18
and
older
and
participants
will
also
learn.
Cpr
skills
applications
are
posted
online
or
are
available
at
Boulder
Fire
Rescue
headquarters
they're
due
by
March
thirteenth
and
all
applicants
must
agree
to
a
background
check.
The
city
of
Boulder
was
recently
recognized
for
using
technology
to
expand
open
government
and
opportunities
for
engagement
with
the
public

how
that's

citizens
all
across

So
the

basically
ranking.
You
know
who
are
the
trendsetters
that
are
helping
to
create
those
best
practices
in
the
United
States.
Last
year
the
city
of
Boulder
was
ranked
eighth,
and
this
year
we
moved
up
to
third,
so
we're
definitely
trending
in
the
right
direction.
Several.
F
Definitely
have
an
award-winning
website
that
includes
a
constituent
system
that
allows
citizens
to
report
potholes
in
all
manner
of
interactions
with
the
city,
but
in
addition
to
that,
we've
modernized
our
financial
system,
our
payroll
system,
our
HR
system.
We
have,
with
the
vote
this
past
November
allowed
us
to
focus
on
community
broadband
initiatives
to
allow
Wi-Fi
the
library
and
Parks
and
down
pearl
street,
which
is
definitely
going
to
help
us.
You
know
push
the
envelope
in
terms
of
accessibility,
Wi-Fi,.
A
Has
already
been
set
up
as
part
of
the
main

renovation
and
the
city
is
working
with
security
experts
to
expand
Wi-Fi
into
the
