B
A
bit
nervous-
this
is
my
first
timer
so
bear
with
me
here,
but
my
name
is
flora.
Carrasco
and
I
live
my
entire
man
on
the
north
side.
Anyways
my
family
and
I
were
impacted
with
the
flood
on
May
1st
of
last
year
2019
and
we
lived
over
there
on
Amherst
right
across
the
creek
and,
let's
just
say
it
was
not
pretty.
We
were
rescued.
We
were
supposed
to
be
rescued
by
boats
by
us
and
my
family
of
eight,
my
youngest
being
at
that
time.
Four
and
my
oldest
was
thirteen.
B
We
had
to
get
rescued
by
firefighters
but
jumping
fences,
because
the
current
was
high.
Just
a
lot
of
things
that
we've
been
through
so
anyways
long
story
short.
We
had
to
move
not
because
we
wanted
to,
but
we
were
forced
lee.
Gavin
has
I,
think
Lee
Gavin
dealt
with
me
so
many
times
that
he
probably
was
like
sick
of
like
seeing
me
but
anyways.
We
were
forced
by
my
landlord
to
move
because
he
was
selling
the
house.
He
was
frustrated
as
every
other
homeowner,
probably
so
long
story
short.
B
It
took
us
about
six
months
to
find
the
house
that
we
live
in
now,
which
is
on
the
north
end.
We
thought
we'd
work
on
the
flood,
but
yesterday
I
found
out
that
our
sewage
was
backing
up
in
the
basement.
It
brought
back
emotions
you
know
like
from
the
old
Amherst
house
anyway,
so
long
story
short
I
am
NOT
here
to
bash
anybody.
I'm
not
here
to
you,
know,
I'm,
not
that's
not
my
character,
but
what
I
do
want
to
say
is
I
want
to
ask
the
me
or
something.
B
If
that's,
okay
with
you
sure
you
can
ask
him
through
me
since
day,
one
of
the
flood
I
again
Lee
Gavin
and
his
the
Lin's.
What's
the
other
lady
from
the
from
the
city?
Kristen?
Oh,
yes,
yes,
yes,
last
loss,
she's
familiar
with
me
and
they've
assisted
me
great,
like
they
helped
me
from
day
one,
but
one
come
I
really
want
to
make
is
about
the
mayor
since
day
one
I
had
been
trying
to
get
in
touch
with
the
mayor
myself
through
phone
calls.
B
I
even
came
up
here
with
my
four-year-old
on
my
hip
to
talk
to
him
and
when
I
came
up
here
to
talk
to
him,
his
secretary
was
telling
me
well
in
order
to
talk
to
him,
you
have
to
go
on
a
appointment
list.
Yada
yada
yada,
which
I
was
doing.
B
B
C
I
did
not
meaningfully
do
that,
but
I
will
tell
you
that
when
I'm
in
my
office,
particularly
if
I'm
talking
to
an
attorney
or
sometimes
to
another
resident
the
discussion
that
takes
place
where
the
secretary
is
and
where
Lisa
is,
it
becomes
difficult
for
me
to
listen,
so
I
close
the
door
in
order
to
have
that
conversation
on
the
phone.
It
was
not
I.
Don't
remember
you
I
do
not
remember
the
conversation
but
oftentimes.
C
B
C
D
The
spring
is
coming
up
and
I
would
like
to
see
that
the
city
speed
up
some
actions
in
it,
because
we
should
be
making
more
money
from
that
place.
We
invested
1.8
million
dollars
of
taxpayers
money
and
you
know
we
need
really
to
move
on
it,
so
it
becomes
a
place
where
people
come
to
the
urban
Heights
and
want
to
live
in
the
urban
Heights
because
we
have
such
beautiful
Golf
Course.
The
second
issue
about
the
salary
increases
I
worked
for
companies
and
I
had
employees
and
my
you
know
business.
D
There
is
no
way
I'm
going
to
give
forget
and
increase
in
salary
unless
I
have
preview
by
my
boss
or
supervisor,
based
on
my
accomplishment
during
you
know
the
previous
year
or
two
years
for
our
city
to
come
and
give
lump
sum,
everybody,
five
percent,
ten
percent.
This
is
a
disaster
because
I
remember
and
not
try
it
zero
to
hash.
D
Talking
about
those
people
who
are
appointed,
there
should
be
review
every
year
and
the
City
Council
should
at
least
learn
about
those
reviews
before
you
approve
anything
I
hope
in
the
next
budget
discussion
and
if
there
is
any
increases,
while
the
increases
like
previously
that
you
will
ask
the
right
questions
to
see
why
that
person
deserved
that
money
and
why
somebody
else
didn't
get
it,
and
thank
you
and
good
luck
to
you
and
good
luck
to
our
mayor
and
I
hope.
You
guys
come
to
your
senses
and
reach
some
agreement
about
it.
E
E
F
F
Just
want
to
say
a
couple
things
in
the
comment
section
as
well:
Nancy
Brier,
Colgate,
Street
and
first
of
all,
we've
been
more
respectful
tonight
than
we've
been
in
over
a
year
and
I
really
appreciate
that
also
the
people
watching
will
and
as
far
as
the
creek
goes,
there
is
a
book
in
the
library.
I
checked
it
out
at
Caroline
Kennedy.
F
That
refers
to
the
problems
when
it
was
a
different
River
Rouge
and
some
of
the
other
waterways
in
the
area
in
the
eCourse
Creek
was
mentioned
back
in
1860
and
it
had
issues
at
that
time.
The
Native
Americans
drenched
deep
and
wide,
but
we
have
had
issues
for
140
years
now,
maybe
160,
and
so
the
book
is
in
the
library.
F
We've
got
to
do
something
and
I
went
by
yesterday
on
Hanover
and
courier
I
crossed
the
little
bridge
there
at
what
is
it
a
banner
and
Hanover,
and
it's
really
sad
to
see
the
sandbanks
up
against
the
people's
back
doors
and
around
their
basement
and
living
area,
and
the
mud
was
so
bad.
My
car
is
filthy
now
and
my
shoes
have
to
be
putting
the
dryer
in
the
washer
when
I
get
home,
because
it's
still
bad,
and
that
was
three
days
after
the
incident
and
it
wasn't
as
bad
as
last
year.
F
I
mean
two
incidents
in
one
year.
We've
really
got
to
go
forward
to
this
and
I
hope
that
we
can
follow
up
on
that
presentation.
That
town-hall
meeting
I
also
want
to.
Thank
you
that
Lisa
is
now
going
to
be
the
liaison
for
the
Women's
Commission
I
believe
we
have
five
members
now
and
maybe
we
can
get
something
going.
I
was.
C
F
F
Denise
gave
out
little
Christmas
cards
to
everybody
and
there
were
some
gifts
attached
to
certain
ones.
So
I.
Thank
you
for
that
and
we
had
Dave
Abdullah.
Was
there
Robert,
constant
or
a
Muscat?
And
it's
nice
to
see
the
council
people
at
the
events
we
have
in
the
city,
it's
really
nice
building
and
we
should
make
more
use
of
it.
Thank
you
again.
Thank
you.
F
A
G
Voting
in
Michigan
is
easier
than
it's
ever
been
with
the
enactment
of
several
new
laws
which
include
voter
registration
up
to
and
including
election
day
registration
and
no
reason
absentee
voting.
While
we
strongly
suggest
that
individuals
register
early
and
not
wait
until
Election
Day
to
register,
you
may
register
and
be
eligible
to
vote
at
any
time.
If
you
are
registering
within
the
14
days
of
an
election
and
wish
to
vote
in
that
election,
you
must
register
to
vote
in
person
with
your
local
Clerk
and
present
residency
verification.
G
G
You
may
request
an
absolutely
ballot
application
in
person
at
the
clerk's
office
at
6:04,
v,
Fenton
or
by
phone
by
simply
calling
three
one:
three,
seven,
nine
one.
Thirty
four
thirty
two
any
voter
can
receive
an
absentee
ballot
45
days
prior
to
the
election
and
has
until
8
p.m.
on
election
night
to
return
that
ballot.
G
Please
note,
you
must
submit
an
application
for
each
and
every
election.
The
clerk's
office
does
not
automatically
send
ballots
without
an
application.
We
have
to
do
this,
so
we
know
that
you're
still
a
city
of
Dearborn
height
resident.
We
verify
your
signature
each
and
every
election
to
make
sure
that
it
is
really
you
that
asks
for
that
ballot
and
we're
not
sending
it
to
someone
who
is
not
you.
G
G
Application
for
the
presidential
primary
is
a
little
bit
different
than
the
ones
you're
usually
accustomed
to
for
this
election.
You
must
designate
a
Democratic
Party,
a
Republican
party
or
a
ballot
without
a
presidential
primary
which
would
be
a
proposal
ballot.
Only
this
is
state
law.
Folks,
we
are
bound
by
state
law
and
I
know.
Some
people
are
unhappy
about
having
to
designate
a
certain
party
in
this
primary.
G
You
still
must
do
that
in
order
to
receive
a
ballots,
you
can
also
receive
a
ballot
without
either
the
democratic
or
the
Republican
presidential
candidates,
and
that
would
be
a
proposal
ballot
and
this
election.
We
have
a
countywide
proposal
and
we
have
a
school
board
proposal
in
Crestwood
and
a
school
board
proposal
in
Westwood.
If
you're
not
happy
with
having
to
designate
a
party
I
strongly
suggest
that
you
contact
your
state
senator
state
representative
as
those
are
the
people
who
make
and
enact
the
laws.
G
A
very
important
website
is
the
Michigan
voter
information
center
on
that
website.
It's
it's
michigan.gov,
slash,
vote
on
that
website.
You
could
view
your
sample
ballot
find
out
if
you
are
indeed
registered
to
vote,
find
your
polling
location
and
track
your
absentee
ballots.
When
you
get
to
that
website,
you
can
find
out
if
you
are
registered
and
the
other
information
by
searching
either
by
your
name
or
by
driver's
license.
G
Once
you
have
put
in
the
required
information
you
can
find
out.
If
you
were
issued
a
ballots,
if
you
even
applied
for
an
absentee
ballot,
or
if
you
received
your
ballot,
you
can
also
find
out
your
polling
location,
your
polling
hours,
information
regarding
our
local
clerk's
office,
our
hours
and
your
voting
district
information
such
as
who
your
state
representative,
is
your
state.
Senator
you,
your
US
representative,
so
that's
a
very
important
website
to
use
to
track
your
ballot
and
find
out
more
about
Elections.
I
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
new
envelopes.
G
G
Please
note
on
the
right-hand
side
of
the
picture,
the
spot,
it's
very
important
that
you
sign
your
name.
If
you
do
not
sign
your
name,
we
cannot
count
your
vote.
We
will
have
to
contact
you
and
you
will
have
to
come
in
to
sign
your
name
if
enough
time
is
allowed
before
the
election.
For
you
to
get
in
the
proper
amount
of
postage
for
this
election
will
be
50
cents
to
return
your
ballot.
We
encourage
you
to
be
diligent
regarding
your
absentee
ballot,
both
receiving
and
returning
the
ballot.
G
We
will
be
mailing
the
absentee
ballots
on
February
6th.
If
you
have
not
received
your
ballot
within
a
week
of
that
date,
and
you
have
requested
one,
please
call
our
office
replacement
ballot
as
some
do
get
lost
in
the
mail.
Please
do
not
wait
until
the
last
day
or
even
the
day
of
the
election,
to
call
and
report
that
you
did
not
receive
a
ballot.
Sometimes
it's
too
late
for
us
to
remedy
the
situation
of
you
not
having
a
ballot
items
do
get
lost
in
the
mail
when
returning
your
ballot.
G
If
you
use
the
post
office,
please
allow
ample
time
for
your
ballot
to
be
delivered
to
City
Hall.
Currently,
the
post
office
suggests
five
days
for
first-class
mail.
For
it
to
be
received.
All
ballots
must
be
received
by
8:00
p.m.
on
Election
Day.
In
order
for
your
vote
to
count,
we
suggest,
if
at
all
possible,
you
deliver
your
ballot
directly
to
City
Hall,
to
avoid
lost
ballots
or
delayed
returns.
Who
can
deliver
your
ballot
to
City
Hall?
G
Of
course
you
can
a
member
of
your
immediate
family
who
you
have
asked
to
return
the
ballot
for
you,
a
person
residing
in
your
household
who
you
ask
to
return
your
ballot
for
you,
a
person
whose
job
normally
includes
handling
of
the
mail,
but
only
during
the
course
of
his
or
her
employment
and
an
authorized
election
official
during
this
presidential
election
cycle
and
will
be
having
three
elections
this
year.
March
10th
is
a
presidential
primary.
G
In
August,
we
will
have
a
general
primary
which
will
consist
of
state
offices
and
US
Representative
and
Wayne
County
offices,
some
judgeships
in
other
races,
and
we
also
have
an
election
in
November.
Of
course,
the
presidential
which
will
be
a
large
election
for
us,
as
I
said,
you'll,
be
receiving
mail
from
various
voter
advocacy
groups.
These
mailings
may
encourage
you
to
register
to
vote,
to
apply
for
an
absentee
ballot
and
return
your
absentee
ballot.
Some
of
these
mailings
may
include
some
pre
addressed
forms
for
you
to
submit
to
the
clerk's
office.
Oftentimes.
G
These
mailings
are
confusing
for
our
voters.
Please
know
that
if
you
have
filled
out
and
returned
the
absentee
application
shown
on
the
screen
now
the
one
that
we
normally
send
you,
it's
not
necessary
to
send
it
an
additional
application
to
receive
your
ballot.
Those
groups
are
just
trying
to
promote
the
vote
and
get
you
to
return
your
application.
If
you
have
not
so
please
be
aware,
if
you
have
returned
your
application,
there's
no
need
to
fill
out
any
additional
paperwork.
I
encourage
you.
G
If
you
have
further
questions
to
visit
the
election
page
of
the
Dearborn
Heights
City
website
on
the
slide
now
is
the
top
part
of
our
elections.
Page.
You
can
find
much
more
additional
information
regarding
elections,
including
a
frequently
asked
questions
section
about
elections,
you'll
be
able
to
download
an
application
to
vote
information
on
working
the
election
and
an
application
to
work.
The
election
while
I'm
on
that
subject
were
always
in
need
of
election
workers.
G
Folks,
we
would
like
to
get
eight
election
workers
for
the
presidential
election
at
each
poll
in
order
to
minimize
the
wait,
keep
the
traffic
down
and
have
our
voters
vote
in
a
orderly
and
quick
fashion.
Without
the
proper
amount
of
workers
we
will
not
be
able
to
process
and
handle
the
many
people
who
are
going
to
want
to
vote
so
please
consider
working
the
elections
for
us
it's
a
long
day.
G
We
understand
that
it
starts
about
six
o'clock
in
the
morning
and
ends
after
the
polls
closed
at
eight
o'clock
and
all
the
closing
work
is
done
and
the
equipment
is
put
away.
We
desperately
need
help.
We
do
pay
right
now
the
pay
is
being
reviewed,
but
we're
currently
paying
$130
for
the
day.
We
will
train
you
on
the
computer
and
that's
an
additional
$20
to
be
trained
on
the
computer,
and
you
would
attend
a
meeting
the
week
before
the
election
to
review
election
law
and
procedures
and
that
would
pay
$30.
