Thursday
night
starting
june
sixth
come
out
and
learn
to
dance
social
dances
like
salsa
swing,
line,
dancing
or
contra
dancing.
Lessons
start
on
the
overlook
terrace
at
seven.
Thirty
in
the
dancing
begins
at
eight
each
week
will
feature
a
different
kind
of
dancing
in
music.
The
schedule
will
be
posted
on
a
website.

beginners

experienced
dancers.

partners
needed
to
come
alone
or
bring
a
friend.
Not
only
is
it
fun,

it's
a
great
way
to

summer
from
Monday
June
third
to
Friday
August.
Ninth,
this
innovative
addition
to
our
park
system
will
be
in
a
rotating
schedule.
Each
week
visiting
different
areas
of
cities
the
summer,
including
the
central
library
downtown
to
the
wading
pool
this
season.

sure
you're
ready
to
hit
the
pool
by
picking
up
your
season.

aquatic

seven
to
nine
admission
will
be
five
dollars
a
family
get
out
and
enjoy
the
water
in
the
summer.

something
new
when
you
sign
up
for
basic
canoeing
classes,
taught
by
AC
a
certified
canoe
instructor,
Don
mcglothlin,
the
classes
held
at
grayslake
and
local
rivers
will
teach
the
basics
of
canoeing,
including
strokes,
small
boat
safety
and
much
more.
These
classes
are
designed
for
both
beginners
and
intermediate
skill
levels.
The
minimum
age
for
this
class
is
10
and
participants
between
the
ages
of
10
and
15
must
be
accompanied
by
an
adult
21
or
over.
The
cost
is
$25.

the
adventure
of
canoeing
without
leaving
the
city
limits,
join
us

the
first
of
two
free
canoe
floats
on
Father's
Day
june,
sixteenth,

dad
in
a
boat
and
take
a
30-minute
ride
down
the
Des
Moines
River,
starting
at
Prospect
Park
and
ending
at
Birdland
marina,
whether
you've
never
been
in
a
canoe
or
haven't
paddle.
In
a
long
time,
there's
never
been
a
better
chance
to
enjoy
safe
fun
in
the
water.
All
ages
and
experience
levels
are
welcome.

13
and
under
must
be
accompanied
by
an
adult
life.

will

and
folk
floats
will
be
held
rain
or
shine
for

Saturday
morning
during
June
we're
also
offering
soon,
but
at
the
lake
participants
can
come
out
early
and
try
this
new
class.
This
45
minute
class
will
start
at
eight-fifteen.
Every
Saturday
yoga
will
follow,
as
always
from
nine
to
ten.

Fridays
unwind
returns
again
this
year
enjoy
live
music
free

sampling,

There's
no
admission
and
the
fun
starts
at
five.
Thirty
participants
are
encouraged
to
bring
lawn,
chairs
and
blankets
to
sit
on
and
enjoy
them
evening.

of

parks

children
ported

participate

swim
lesson.
