found
the
city
council
for
about
a
year
and
a
half
from
District
Two
and
during
that
time
I've
been
the
liaison
to
the
public
library
board.
So
my
goal
here
is
not
to
be
a
voting
member,
but
to
really
listen
to
offer.
The
council
perspective
when
asked
and
then
to
report
back
to
the
Council
on
board.

Library
than
what
we
see
today
through
coveted
closures,
reopenings
closures.
Again
we
did
see
just
a
change
in
the
population
coming
in
and
who
we
were
serving
in
the
library.
So
there's
a
lot
and
it
was
interesting.
Woods
Library
we've
talked
to
a
lot
of
Library
districts,
a
lot
of
other
libraries
and
they
they
have
been
experiencing
very
similar
changes
to
the
library
system
itself.

Okay,
and
so
that
was
funded.
It
does
provide
Library
staff
with
really
it's
intended
to
provide
for
a
go-to
purse.
At
a
point
of
contact,
really
just
trying
to
prevent
Behavior
by
being
at
constant
presence
in
the
library
was
the
way
that
was
proposed
to
the
city
council.
The
limitation
here
is
that
you
know
1.5.
Fte
is
not
enough
to
cover
all
Library
hours
and
I
think
that
Beth
has
done
an
exceptional
job
of
making.
That
point
that
that's
it's
just
simply
not
enough.

So
when
we
look
at
another
request
that
came
in
in
the
last
24
months,
the
library
staff
really
being
the
the
night
time,
the
most
nighttime
oriented
staff
in
the
city
we're
the
first
group
to
say
you
know
what
we've
really
seen
an
increase
in
people
camping
around
here
and
people
loitering
around.
Here
we
really
don't
like
the
dark
garage,
so
we
spent
150
000
Council
approved
that
actually,
at
the
same
time,
they
approved
the
library.
I
mean
the
carpet
improvements
same
night
that
provided
for
a
much
brighter.

You
know
garage
at
night,
so
that's
benefited
the
entire
Civic
Center,
but
was
really
driven
by
Library
staff.
We
also-
and-
and
this
was
a
failure
of
mine-
not
recognizing-
that
this
trespass
ordinance
that
I
heard
was
not
constitutional
was
actually
a
major
major
problem
for
the
library
I
didn't
realize.
In
order
to
eject
people
from
the
library
you
had
to
have
an
illegal
trespass
notice,
I
didn't
realize
we
were
actually
trespassing
people
when
we
ejected
them
in
my
years
at
city
government
that
I
had
not
made
that
connection.

So
our
previous
City
attorney,
you
know,
and
the
prosecutor
basically
said.
Oh,
this
is
being
challenged
and
we
agree
with
the
Challenger.
It's
not
constitutional,
so
the
whole
thing
is
void.
We're
not
going
to
prosecute
on
it.
Meanwhile,
Library
staff
is
pulling
their
hair
realizing.
They
have
no
really
ultimate
tool
to
get
people
out
of
the
library
for
bad
behavior,
and
so,
when
this
kind
of
came
to
a
head
in
a
meeting-
and
you
know
the
light-
went
off
the
City
attorney.
You
know
raised
to
get
this
put
in
place.

The
trespass
ordinance
was
approved
by
Council
in
2022
and
and
just
allows
for
that
ejection,
which
is
critical
as
in
you
know,
ultimatum
of
you
know
you
will
follow
the
rules
or
else
so.
A
lot
of
work
went
into
that
and
appreciate
the
city
attorney's
office.
Doing
that
the
kind
of
simultaneous
with
the
trespass
ordinance,
the
ability
to
eject
people
is
still
subjective.

Unless
you
have
rules
to
say
you
are
breaking
rule
number
3.10,
and
so
we
did
not
have
that
in
place
either
in
terms
of
really
standardized
rules
for
all
of
our
facilities
and
so
working
with
Library
staff.
When
I
was
formerly
assistant,
city
manager
at
Longmont,
working
with
Library
staff
there,
which
really
was
about
two
years
ahead
of
us
in
terms
of
all
of
the
you
know,
being
the
front
line
of
our
response
to
homelessness.

It
was
it's
much
more
kind
of
pronounced
and
Bolder
and
Longmont.
They
had
started
working
on
these
standards
of
behavior.
So
using
that
as
a
guide,
you
see
a
tremendous
amount
of
overlap
between
these
two,
but
we
were
able
to
pretty
quickly
get
those.
Those
are
administrative.
So
if
Beth
comes
to
me
and
said,
I
have
a
problem
with
you
know:
people
leaving
shopping
carts,
I
can
add
to
this
list.
Shopping
carts
are
not
allowed
in
the
library.
So
this
is
all
administrative.
It
does
not
have
to
go
through
city
council.

We
can
make
adjust
to
that.
Really
quickly
same
with
our
Parks
rules,
if
you
know
we,
those
are
also
administrative
Force,
but
that
you
know
got
from
the
library
leadership.
We
work
quickly
to
get
those
posted
because
that's
another
requirement
for
ejection
is
you
have
to
have
those
rules
posted,
so
we
posted
those
in
all
of
our
facilities.
We
also
work
to
get
a
new
security
firm.
Our
previous
security
firm
was
just
simply
unwilling
to
engage
with
people
that
are
were
you
know,
having
bad
behavior
and
towards
the
end
it
just
kept
getting
worse.

So
just
a
lot
of
issues
with
people
ordering
with
people
you
know
leaving
trash
behind
making
it
not
feel
comfortable
for
a
lot
of
Library
patrons.
So
we
got
rid
of
that
security.
Firm
up
upsized
the
budget,
certainly
to
about
a
half
a
million
for
this,
but
we
did
it
and
I
I
didn't
mention
this,
but
about
three
years
ago
we
did
a
septed
audit.

Subtit
is
crime
prevention
through
environmental
design
that
looked
at
everything
around
the
library,
the
Civic
Center
all
of
our
city
facilities
and
said:
are
there
environmental
things
like
high
bushes
or
bad
lighting,
or
you
know
just
maybe
a
lack
of
trash
cans
that
creates
litter
things
that
are
creating
crime
because
of
the
environment
that
we
have
the
physical
environment?
So
one
of
the
things
they
said
is
you've
got
a
security
company
for
Municipal
Court.
You've
got
one
for
Eve
and
you've
got
one
for
the
secure
for
the
Civic
Center.

This
is
and
there's
I
think
it
was.
Three
companies
I
mean
totally
inefficient,
so
we
Consolidated
all
of
those.
It
was
a
a
little
bit
bigger
contract
once
you,
you
know,
took
all
three
of
those
together,
but
it
has
transformed
this
campus.
I,
don't
know
if
both
or
Christina
feel
that
way,
I
just
it
is
night
night
and
day
and
we
know
them
they
talk
to
us.

They
talk
to
patrons
they're
helpful,
but
they
also
really,
you
know,
have
prevented
a
lot
of
the
behaviors
that
we're
seeing
more
so
on
the
outside
of
the
campus
I.
Don't
think
that
if
this
helps
as
much
on
the
inside
of
the
library,
but
it
certainly
has
helped
on
the
outside
Allied
Universal,
it
is
it's
Allied
Universal,
the
other
thing
that
they
did.

If
you
go
out
the
store
right
behind
a
coffee
pot
here,
there's
a
little
sticker
on
the
wall,
we've
put
checkpoints
all
around
the
building
and
throughout
the
library
that
the
guard
has
to
walk
by
and
check
in
that
they
have
patrolled
that
area.
So
it's
using
technology
a
little
bit
better,
just
to
make
sure
that
they're,
frankly
doing
their
job.

I,
you
know
I,
think
that
that
was
a
real
kind
of
failure
of
this
is
not
taking
into
consideration.
This
is
this
facility
is
a
much
you
know
longer
hour
facility
than
just
what
you
know.
Employees
in
the
Civic
Center,
so
I
appreciate
the
library
really
advocating
for
you've
got
to
change
this
because
they
were
right.

Next
I
want
to
talk
about
some
training
that
has
taken
place,
starting
in
2022.
We
did
a
situational
awareness
training
in
our
all
staff
meeting
that
we
have
every
six
every
two
months.
We
have
this
so
six
times
a
year
and
that
was
provided
by
the
police
department,
our
impact
team
and
impact
team
member
who
really
kind
of
give
shared
some
information
that
we
then
passed
out
to
send
an
email
to
staff
with
tips
and
how
to
really
be
aware
of
your
surroundings.

We
actually
had
the
ingwood
PD
kind
of
a
dispatch
librarian
training
to
introduce
those
new
standards
of
behavior.
They
also
kind
of
dug
a
little
deeper
into
situational
training
when
to
call
PD
when
to
call
co-responders
more
recently
and
Beth
was
in
this.
In
the
last
two
weeks,
we've
had
mental
health
first
aid
training,
and
this
was
not
something
that
epd
had
historically
invited
the
library
to,
but
realizing
that
the
Librarians
are
doing.

You
know
it's
very
similar
to
work
to
co-responders
in
some
way
into
terms
of
their
interactions
with
people,
and
so
they
invited
them
to
participate
in
that,
and
then
we
also
just
well
just
wrapped
up
de-escalation
training
for
it's.
A
national
trainer
for
libraries,
specifically
working
for
librarians
working
with
unhoused
yeah.
I
Have
you
heard
of
Ryan
Dowd
he's
quite
a
guy
he's
written
books,
yeah
I
feel,
like
I,
feel,
like
he's
focused
titled,
the
librarian's
guide
to
homelessness.
Okay,
yeah
yeah,
he's
he's
an
awesome
guy,
he
gives
I
mean
I,
get
a
newsletter
from
him,
I
think
weekly
and
just
gives
tips
and
tricks
and
dealing
with
somebody.
That's.

You
know
contacting
epd,
they
know
what
to
tell
dis
factors.
I
mean
lots
of
different
things
that
better,
you
know,
more
increased
communication
can
help
with
those
relationships
and
then
some
planned
improvements
again
that
probably
Beth
and
Christina
are
much
more
familiar
with.
You
all
are
very
familiar
with
this
one.
You
recommended
this
in
your
Capital
Improvement
plan
for
the
library.
As
you
know,
our
city
Charter
actually
asks
the
library
board
as
one
of
your
tasks,
to
come
up
with
a
capital
plan.

If
you
have
big
big
ticket
expenditures
that
are
needed
for
the
library,
physical
improvements
to
the
library,
you
have
a
duty
within
the
charter
to
bring
those
to
us,
and
so
one
of
those
was.
We
really
need
a
single
point
of
entering.
We
agree,
so
we
put
some
money
in
this
year's
budget
to
really
analyze
that
put
together
a
plan
costs
of
how
that
would
look
like
which
entrance
to
use
or
a
separate.

think
would
be
really
really
a
good
trial
run
in
what
this
looks
like
if
you
know
when
we
go
to
the
new
point
of
entry,
potentially
off
of
the
24
Hour
Fitness,
or
if
this
one
works,
how
it's
going
to
work
I
think
I'm
really
excited
for
the
opportunity,
not
the
situation
that
led
to
it,
but
the
opportunity
to
reopen
with
a
newly
kind
of
configured
floor
plan.
Essentially
so
I
am
very
much
committed
and
I.
Think
city
council
is
too
with
implementing
the
permanent
solution.
I
We
were
supposed
to
meet
this
week.
They
were
all
sick,
so
probably
next
week
of
the
following
will
be
discuss.
The
opportunities
we
already
met
with
our
in-house
architect
and
she's,
come
up
with
some
ideas
and
and
looked
at
best
pieces
and
other
best
practice
and
other
City
libraries
as
well.
So
probably
by
the
next
meeting,
we
may
have
more
information.

then,
with
mucho
kudos
to
Beth
for
really
making
a
great
case
looking
at
other
libraries
looking
at
our
staffing
levels,
you
know
relative
to
population,
to
our
Patron
numbers
Etc
and
really
making
it
very
much
aware
making
us
all
aware
that
we
needed
to
step
up
and
so
Council
has
seen
fit
with
vets
and
and
Christina's
proposal
to
increase
by
two
full-time
Library
staff.
You
can
see
there.
You
all
have
reviewed
this,
so
I
know
we
need
to
spend
a
lot
of
time
and
then
the
four
part-time
Library
Associates.

Gone,
we
thought
it
was
going
way
up,
because
the
numbers
that
HR
gave
us
based
on
some
classification
work
that
they
did
came
in
really
high.
In
looking
at
that,
we
think
it's
a
little
too
high,
because
I
think
they're.
They
were
basically
giving
us
numbers
for
Library,
twos
and
threes,
and
these
are
library
and
ones
yeah,
and
so
we've
saved
some
money
and
I
want
to
give
credit
to
Chelsea,
who
you
know
emailed
us
over
the
weekend.
Christine
and
I
were
like.

So
we
also,
though,
in
order
to
try
to
get
this
closer
to
what
council
approved
in
the
study
session.
We
also,
unfortunately
pulled
back
20
000
of
that
program,
expansion,
money
that
we
were
going
to
have
I.
Think
that
that's
something
that
we
could
look
at
for
the
2024
budget
if
we
need
some
more
funding
for
that,
but
I
think
you
know,
the
Crux
of
that
proposal
was
the
Staffing.
I
Well
and
I'll
just
add
so
the
Broncos
sales
money
we
have
that
kind
of
in
our
back
pockets.
So
as
we
go
through
the
year,
if
we
start
seeing
like
the
these
new
positions
are
killing
it.
Let's
add
some
more
programs,
I'm
pretty
sure
Council
would
say
yeah.
Let's
use
some
of
the
Bronco
money
to
support
our
library
program.
Can
you
explain
the
Bronco
money
yeah,
so
the
Broncos
I
don't
know
all
the
exact
details.
I
Thank
you,
but
a
lot
of
cities
got
money
that
had
originally
contributed
to
the
the
building
of
the
Broncos
stadium
and
when
the
new
ownership
came
on,
it
was
sold
pretty
much,
and
so
we
got
1.1
million
about
1.2
million
dollars
from
that
and
we
have
about
480
something
left
to
spend.
So
you're
marked.

that's
we
that's
just
some
there's
a
lot
of
things
on
the
table,
shares
of
parks
and
Librarians.
So
there's
a
lot
of
opportunity
that
we
also
be
going
to
be
going

Parks

Rec
bond,

possibly
impact
some
of
the
things
we
might
have
purchased
with
the
Broncos
money.
We
may
put
that
on
the
bond
instead
like
a
new
training
for
the
Train
park,
so
things
like
that
so
yeah.

that
in
mind.

other
thing
that
we're
moving
really
quickly
towards.
We
think
that
this
is
definitely
probably
gonna
happen.
We're
waiting
on
Final
proposals
from
some
companies,
but
is
to
increase,
say
three
safety
of
the
library
through
drug
use
prevention
through
this
Halo
drug
detection,
Center
Center.
It
moves
air
through
the
sensor
for
in
whatever
room
it's
in
it
detects.
Originally,
these
were
more
for
Vaping
for
marijuana,
but
they
really
beefed
them
up
to
where
now
they
can
detect
meth
and
lots
of
other
drugs
yeah,
and
so.

Alarm
will
start
sounding
and
so
staff.
This
is
something
we're
talking
about
is
how
do
we
react
to
that?
Pd
can
only
take
it
and
release,
but
if
we
can
get
PD
there
fast
enough,
we'll
start
ticketing
people,
that's
part
of
the
security
talk,
but
I
feel
like
this
may
change
everything
for
the
long
term
and
behavior,
because,
if
that
thing's
screaming,
when
you
go
smoke,
meth
nobody's
going
to
want
to
go
back
in
those
bathrooms,
hopefully
that
cleans
them
up.
So
this
is
really
we're
excited.

we
can
see
data
that
that's
collecting
and
it
will
alert
staff
via
text
or
through
an
email
or
whatever
saying
hey.
This
alarm
just
went
off,
but
it
also
is
audible.
So
a
lot
of
different
moving
pieces
with
this
thing,
but
it's
this
could
be
life-changing.
It
isn't
schools.
A
lot
of
schools
have
these
in
their
bathrooms
to
keep
kids
from
baking
and
to
stop
that
behavior.
So
and.

This
is
really
a
side
benefit
of
all
of
the,
and
you
know
is
there
any
such
thing
as
bad
publicity?
Well,
probably
yeah,
and
in
this
case,
though,
this
was
a
positive
outcome.
There
were
companies
all
over
that
this
isn't
there
aren't
a
lot
of
companies
doing
this,
but
they
saw
the
media
reports
and,
like
oh
we're,
gonna
call
them
yeah
and.

for
this
okay
and
I'm

You
know
the
library
board
probably
will
want
to
weigh
in
on
this,
but
you
know
badged
restrooms,
so
discouraging
unauthorized
use
and
Rule
breaking
increases
accountability.
The
limitation
here
is
it's
going
to
require
a
staffing
commitment,
but
it
sounds
like
y'all
are
working
on
that
and
maybe
with
the
additional
Staffing
that
will
be
less
like
an
issue.
Is
it.

It'll
either
be
that
a
staff
member
will
of
approach
the
library
door
and
badge
them
in.
We
do
have
one
station
right
now
that
has
like
a
release
button
that
you
can
press
and
then
it
unlocks
it
for
a
moment
to
let
a
person
in,
but
we
only
have
one
place
with
that
and
that's
at
this
the
designated
security
desk
and
with
the
single
entrance.

We
also
would
like
to
relocate
the
security
desk,
which
would
then
require
the
relocation
of
the
button,
and
we
don't
know
how
feasible
that
will
be
or
not
so
it
may
begin
with
just
badging
access,
but
I
think
the
increased
Staffing
will
help
make.
You
know
the
security
person
on
duty
available,
as
well
as
the
designated
person
in
charge
more
available,
because
the
person
in
charge
won't
necessarily
be
at
a
desk.
Providing
you
know:
Patron
service,
they'll
they'll
be
able
to
kind
of
roam
around
and
and
fill
in
that
Gap.

add
we
did
lock
the
bathrooms
in
2021.
We
did
lock
those
because
we
were
having
some
issues
back
then
to
gain
some
control.
We
had
such
negative
feedback
towards
the
staff.
We
got
lots
of
emails
about
personal
rights
and
all
of
this,
and
so
we
ended
up
just
unlocking
it
because
it
became
such
a
hassle
to
let
people
in
there.
But
at
this
point
in
time
we
have
every
reason
back.
Then
we
really
didn't
other.
Just
Behavior
are.

right
now,
so
Boulder
is
not
going
to
allow
any
personal
bags
which,
from
a
female
perspective,
a
little
concerned
on
that

Don't
know
how
that's
going
to
be
handled
long
term,
but
they
are
not
allowing
you
know
somebody
to
bring
full
backpack
or
all
their
belongings
in
with
them.
They're
only
I
think
allowing
two
people
at
a
time
with
the
security
members
of
what
they're,
yeah
I,
don't
remember
what
their
limitation
was
or
number
of
people
in
the.
I
I
know
that
they
were
like
that
was
one
of
the
things
they
were
talking
about,
considering
limiting
and
then
the
other
personal
items,
but
I
think
that
they're
having
designated
people
like
that's
what
their
duty
is,
is
to
manage
bathrooms.
I
still
I,
don't
know
for
sure.
If
their
bathrooms
have
reopened
yet
I,
don't
think
they
don't
think
so.

Building
with
the
amount
of
entry
points
and
exit
points
that
we
have,
and
so
the
first
thing
we
thought
was,
let's
just
put
a
guard
at
every
single
entrance
that
either
warns
you
as
you
come
in,
which
could
help
and
what
people
actually
are
able
to
bring
into
the
library
like
shopping.
Carts
can't
come
in
those
things,
and
we
got
a
quote
back
on
that.
That
was
around
four
hundred
thousand
dollars
just
to
do
that.

Obviously
the
metal
detectors
would
be
a
big
deal
to
get
because,
like
I
said,
we
get
it's
been
hard
from
library
staff
they're
caring
they
want
to
allow.
You
know
these
are
people's
personal
belongings,
that's
all
they
have
in
their
life,
and
so
we've
allowed
things
to
come
in
because
we
don't
have
lockers
for
them.
To
put
it
in.
That's
a
conversation
we're
also
having
this.
Maybe
we
get
some
larger
lockers.
You
can
store
your
items
in
for
the
day,
they're
cleaned
out
at
night.
If
the
stuff's
in
there
that's
it's
gone.
I
So
there's
a
lot,
we're
working
on
our
our
building
official
Fire
Marshal
they
own
meds
and
walk
the
facility
and
what
they
came
up
with
this
is
another
proposal.
It's
the
closest
second
floor
entrance,
so
the
entrance
you
all
came
in
tonight
would
be
close
to
the
public,
be
staff
entrance
only
and
you
could
only
enter
from
the
North
side
or
the
South
Side
first
floor
entrances,
which
is
I
think
primarily
where
most
people
come
in
and
so
looking
at
that.
I
So
that
would
eliminate
three
guards
down
to
just
two
and
there
is
a
large
wallet
currently
down.
So
when
you
leave
tonight,
you
can
actually
peek
down
to
that
Lobby
and
there's
it's
a
fire
door
that
comes
down.
It's
not
really
sightly,
but
it
could
be
a
small
wall
we
put
up.
So
people
can't
go
where
the
library
entrance
is
and
hang
out
it's
hard
for
a
promise.
I
We
had
a
lot
of
people
just
hanging
out
throughout
the
day,
just
sleep
in
there
doing
whatever
and
that's
really
not
the
library's
purview,
but
it
kind
of
became
part
of
their
purview
and
so
yeah.
There's
a
lot
of
moving
pieces
still
we're
figuring
out
the
cost
analysis
for
media
again
this
week,
as
as
a
staff
group
and
that's
everybody
from
PD
to
library,
staff,
City,
manager's
office,
attorney's
office.
Just
about
every
Finance
everybody's
involved
with
this
process,
because
you
want
to
get
it
right
and
change
the
behavior,
that's
the
ultimate
goal.
Is
we
don't?
I
This
is
no
longer
welcome
here.
It
never
was
welcome
before,
but
this
can't
keep
happening.
We
don't
want
to
keep
doing
this,
so
any
ideas
that
you
may
have
anything
you've
seen
in
other
cities,
any
buildings
that
you've
gone
in
you're
like
feeling
safe.
My
goal
is
for
moms
that
come
in
for
story
times
feel
very
safe
coming
into
our
building.
People
that
are
older.
That
may
not
feel
comfortable
will
start
coming
back
into
the
library,
because
we
put
a
lot
of
great
things
in
place
and.

know
I,
think
all
of
our
goal
is
to
stop
having
to
you
know,
try
to
improve
security,
because
we
have
good
security
that
we
can
get

we
didn't
know
when
they
were
coming
back.
We
had
three
on
baby.
We
have
a
new
baby
bonding
time.
We
had
three
on
that.

had
like
multiple
on
the
job
inter
injuries
that
were
had
people
either
out
or
a
light
duty
and
cops
were
frustrated
when
they
would
show
up
to
the
library
and
the
Librarians
had
called
and
the
person
had
left

mean
there
was
frustration
and
that's
why
we
said.
Okay,
we've
got
to
bring
these
groups
together,
we
got
to
start
talking.
We
need
the
leaders
talking
to
each
other
and
that's
really.

goal
is
to
increase
understanding
understanding
each
other's
needs
wants,
and
you
know
what
we
really
have
to
do
to
keep
keep
things
safer,
but
what
the
council
did
was
allocate
funding
for
six
additional
officers.
So
we
put
two

budget

2023

just
kind
of
eight.
That
was
our
only
additional
new
staff
positions
that

added
and
then
the
ballot
measure
for
alternative
policing
has
allowed
us
to
free
up
all
the
money
we've
been.

new
officers
and

desk
positions

dispatch
supervisor

will
get

relieving
pressure

officer
time,
but
really
providing
a
lot
of
mental
health
assistance.

funds

tutorials
loaded

started

them
and
when
we
reopen,
we
will
be
increasing
our
Tech
assist
sessions.

we'll
have
a
staff
member
available

some

the

adult
questions
in
the
eight
days
were
open,
could
have
included
email
stuff,
but
I
don't
normally
break
those
out,

we
did
have
an
increase
in
Communications
during

latter
part

month
via
email,
and
then
the
program
stayed
pretty
pretty
strong
because
they
were
able.
The
only
things
that
they
had
to
cancel
for
youth
was
the
teen
Hangouts
on
Tuesday
afternoons.
I
decided
not
to
do
that,
but
everything
else
went
forward.

There's
a
couple
adult
programs
that
got
canceled
one
was
due
to
weather
and
the
presenting
group
chose
to
cancel
and
I
can't
remember
what
else?
Oh
and
we
did
we
canceled
all
the
resource
connects
while
we're
closed,
we're
not
doing
anything
at
all
for
resource
connect
right
now,
so
those
were
out,
but
that's
pretty
much
it.
We
had
one
incident
report
and
it
was.
It
was
an
mru
call
where
we
called
the
mobile
Response
Unit
to
assist
a
patron.
So
that
was
the
gist

that.

staff

graduating

put
together
a
really
great
training
schedule
and
it
worked
out
really
well,
even
when
we
were
open,

they've,

been
strengthening

like
that.

mostly
like
the
biggest
thing
is:
where
would
we
store
them?
That's
probably
the
number
one
thing
how
to
having
somebody
that
can
like
take
a
box
of
donations
and
look
through
it
and
say
this
is
in
bad
condition,
throw
it
out
or
recycle
or
like
this
is
an
outdated
textbook
from
1978.
You
know,
I
could
buy
that
recycle.
Something
like
that.

We
currently
participate
in
a
program
with
a
company
or
organization
called
dream
books,
yeah,
dream
books.
I
always
want
to
call
it
Wonder
books.
Those
are
those
yeah
ones,
dream
dream
books,
they
come
and
it's
predominantly
our
discards.
They
come
and
get
our
discards,
they
kind
of
process
them
and
they
give
us
like
a
payment
based
on
their
evaluation
of
the
titles
or
whatever.

So
we
probably
would.
We
might
still
do
some
of
that
and
then
potentially
save
discards
and
then
donations
for
a
book
sale,
because
discards
can
still
contain
quality
items
that
we
get
multiple
copies.
Now,
we've
paired
it
down
to
one,
so
that
would
be
kind
of
like
the
process
that
we
would
come
up
with
cool.
