I'm
fairly
certain
all
of
you

but
let's
see
here
highlights
wise.
If
I'm

it's
because
I
have
two
screens
going
here.
At
the
same
time,
let's
see
here,
we
definitely
have
increased
physical
visitors
over
february
2021,
which
is
probably
because
we
had
limited
services
at
that
time.
A
year
ago,
it's
almost
twice
as
much
and
we've
definitely
increased
our
page
views.

As
far
as
our
website
goes,
catalog
page
views
have
dropped
just
slightly
and
total
reach
for
our
facebook
as
well.
That
could
be
because
we
do
have
a
new
instagram
account,
so
we
could
be
seeing
people
migrate
over
to
instagram
to
follow
the
library
events.
Sorry,
that's
those
are
my
dogs
that
are
singing
to
you
right
now
and
if
you
hold
that
thought
I
can
get
them
to
stop
quickly.

It
contrary
to
what
you
might
believe,
it's
actually
more
disheartening
and
demoralizing
to
not
have
people
in
the
library
so
having
people
back
in
the
library
asking
questions
searching
for
books
getting
help
on
their
smartphones.
And
all
of
that
is
I
mean
that's
the
reason
that
you
go
into
librarianship.

So
it's
I
think
that
that's
heartening
as
well
to
staff
where
they
realize
okay,
the
leadership
team,
the
police
department,
the
city
attorney's
office,
they're
all
taking
the
problems
that
we've
been
experiencing
for
almost
two
years
now
very
seriously,
and
I
think
that
they
know
that
the
leadership
team
is
willing
to
do
whatever.
We
need
to
do
to
do
our
best
to
keep
them
safe
in
these
situations
and
then
having
tj
on
board
has
been
just
an
awesome
addition
to
staff.
So
I
think
that
everybody's
doing
considerably
better
than
say
six
months
ago,.

That
I've
not
heard
an
update,
yet
we
were
hoping
by
the
end
of
last
week,
but
it
may
be
the
end
of
this
week.
The
nice
part
is,
we
do
have
some
ground
to
stand
on
now,
even
without
the
form.
So
pd
is
on

same
page
as
our
library,
staff
and
civic
center
staff.
So
it's
really
worst
case
scenarios.

Now
we
have
some
teeth
in
the
game,
whereas
before
we
did
not
so
the
little,
we
see
it
daily
in
the
library,
the
little
code
of
conduct,
issues
of
people
screaming
or
eating
food,
where
they
shouldn't
or
cussing
at
staff,
whatever
it's
as
bad
as
it
can
be,
it's
not
as
bad
as
it
has
been,
and
now
when
we
have
those
worst
case
scenarios,
we
can
do
something
about
it.
So
that's
very
helpful.

know
we,
we
still
probably
have
a
few
individual
officers
that
you
know
that
we
need
to
get
or
the
chief
needs
to
get
more
on
board.
As
far
as
when
the
library
does
call,
you
just
keep
in
mind
that
they
haven't
called
you
nine
times
before
right
now,
because
they
dealt
with
those
situations
on
an
individual
basis,
but
now
they're
calling
you
they
actually
really
do,
feel
uncomfortable
or
maybe
they're
just
thoroughly
exhausted.
At
this
point
and
can't
deal
with
this.

Basically,
the
only
tool
that
we
had
in
our
handbag
was
to
be
able
to
tell
somebody,
okay
with
this
behavior
you're
gonna
have
to
leave
for
the
rest
of
the
day,

I
believe
thoroughly
that
that
that
word
got
out
to
to
everyone
that
it
doesn't
matter
how
you
behave.
They're,
just
gonna.
Ask
you
to
leave
for
the
rest
of
the
day.

were
now
coming
to
inglewood
because
word
had
gotten
out
that
we
were
not
suspending
anybody,
no
matter
what
you
did.
So
we
were
still
doing
things

We
were
still
telling
somebody
you
sorry
you're
done
for
the
day

to
leave.
Yes,
we
will
call
dispatch
if
you
refuse
to
leave
based
on
my
request
or
another
staff
person's
request,
but
then
they
would
just
return
the
very
next
day.

like
if

walked
past
somebody
and
they
were
completely
unconscious
asleep.
I
think
that
most
staff
were
just
walking
past
and
ignoring
that.
If
somebody
was
eating
at
one
of
the
computers

I
just
don't
want
the
confrontation
with
this
person.
I
know
this
person
yesterday
screamed
and
yelled
at
somebody
or
called
them
horrible
names,
so
I'm
not
going
to
go
there
because
I
don't
really
care
if
they
eat
next
to
the
computer.

I'm
a
little
bit
more
rigid
when
it
comes
to
the
rules,
though
so
I
guess
it
would
just
depend
on
who
was
on
the
floor
at
the
time
yeah.
But
we
do
have
that
united
front
now,
and
I
think
that
everybody
understands
that
if
you
allow
this
to
slide
or
you
give
too
many
warnings
to
this
person,
you're
actually
setting
up
the
next
staff
person
for
the
bigger
repercussion.

So
in
the
month
of
february,
they
fulfilled
13
requests
for
kids,
next
read
and
then
overall
for
the
the
first
part
of
this
year
to
date,
they've
fulfilled
31
requests
via
kids
next
read,
and
it's
really
both
your
next
read
and
kids
next
read
is
advertised
passively.
You
know
it's
on
our
website,
it's
on
our
catalog
page,
but
we
don't
I
mean
I
I
do
and
some
staff
members
will
advertise
it
to
an
individual
when
they're
looking
for
the
next
book.
You
know
I
just
finished
the
series
and
I
have
nothing
else
to
read.

I
have
nowhere
to
go.
I
don't
know
what
to
do
we'll,
go
ahead
and
help
them
in
the
moment,
but
then
point
out
that
you
know
hey,
you
can
fill
this
out
and
not
only
can
you
fill
it
out
now
and
we'll
send
you
back
this
awesome
personalized
reading
list,
but
you
can
do
that
over
and
over
and
over
again
as
many
times
as
you
would
like
so
based
on
that,
we've
actually
only
had
four
requests
for
adults
in
the
month
of
february
and
six
requests
year
to
date.

And
it's
pretty
amazing
because
we
do
have
a
checkbox
where
you
can
ask
us
to
put
the
holds
immediately
for
you
or
you
can
do
that
yourself
totally
up
to
you
see
we
love
giving
people
choices
continuing
on
with
children's.
They
started
scheduling
summer.
Reading
outreach
with
the
eps
elementary
and
middle
schools
and
all
story
times,
except
for
pajama
story
times
are
back
to
in
person
as
of
february
14th.

We
did
have
the
caveat
that
if
you
came
to
the
front
door
and
you
wanted
to
get
an
actual
physical
library
card,
we
would
allow
you
to
come
in
to
be
able
to
do
that
on
the
other
side
of
the
library,
and
we
did
that
27
times
or
for
27
people
resource
connect.
That
is
one
program
that
I
don't
know
if
you
guys
have
heard
about,
but
I
love
to
highlight
it
is
relatively
new.

So
it
started
with
one
organization
that
offered
myrid
services
or
a
service
to
connect
them
with
myrid
resources
from
there.
We
now
have
nine
organizations
participating,
so
it
started
with
one
organization
in
a
study
room
where
they
came
in
every
single
monday,
and
people
could
just
have
walk-in
service
and
ask
for
whether
it's
food
or
mental
health
care
or
physical
health
care
or
assistance
with
housing
or
getting
money
or
anything
to
now
we're
in
hampton
hall,
and
we
have
nine
different
organizations
that
participate
throughout
the
month.

So
just
a
few
things:
from
the
month
of
february,
three
people
learned
about
cross
purpose
and
their
free
certification
program.
So
cross-purpose
is
a
training
program
and
if
you
meet
the
requirements
for
low
or
no
income,
you
can
get
enrolled
in
a
certification
program
so
that
you
can
be
more
employable
or
employable
at
a
higher
hourly
rate.

Erin
with
arapahoe
county's
housing
navigators
worked
with
nine
different
people
trying
to
secure
housing
in
january,
they
were
actually
able
to
hand
somebody
keys
to
their
own
apartment,
which
was
terribly
exciting,
they're.
Seeing
a
lot
of
people
on
the
brink
of
homelessness.
So,
if
you
think
about
all
the
people
in
the
city
of
englewood
that
are
on
fixed
incomes,
rents
are
still
rising,
but
their
income
is
still
static
and
so
those
people
actually
for
the
first
time
in
their
lives,
they're,
probably
facing
the
possibility
of
losing
their
apartment
or
home.

They
need
to
get
a
ged,
but
they
need
kind
of
a
program
because
we
have
resources
through
the
library
where,
if
you
were
a
disciplined
kind
of
person,
you
could
get
yourself
through
that
and
get
your
ged.
But
some
people
just
need
more
structure.
That
goes
along
with
that.
So
there
are
a
couple
of
organizations
that
I'm
reaching
out
to
to
try
and
get
them
to
participate
in
resource
connect
so
that
we
can
help
that
age
group
as
well.

Actually
kind
of
both,
so
these
numbers,
the
the
overall
number,
is
included
in
the
overall
numbers
for
attendance
for
programs
for
resource
connect
since
that
meets
once
a
month
or
once
a
week.
I
just
get
aggregate
totals
at
the
end
of
the
month
and
then
it's
included
in
that
month's
totals.
Instead
of
doing
the
weekly
thing.

know
four
to
five
staff
members
that
are
being
paid
to
keep
the
library
open
on
sunday,
and
we
may
I
mean
just
from
a
guessing
point,
because
it's
not
like.
I
kept
track
of
the
stats
in
my
head,
but
you
know
maybe
five
or
six
people
that
came
into
the
library
which
didn't
really
seem
like
a
good
use
of
our
resources.

We
tried
to
put
some
measurable
items
into
this
action
plan
and
we're
definitely
open
to
ideas
from
you
all
as
well,
and
obviously
when
the
new
library
manager
comes
on
board,
we'll
have
her
like
this

her
input

maybe
make
a
few
changes,
but
the
librarians
took
some
thought
and
and
put
it
into
this,
so
we'll
just
go
over
this
at
a
higher
level.
The
comprehensive
marketing
plan
obviously
continue
to
market
the
library
services
over
the
this
next
year.

thing
that
we
can
track
is
when
we
send
out
the
the
ledger
via
email.
I
think
I
think
we
were
able
to
find
out
how
many
people
actually
opened
it.
We
talked
about
hiding
or
putting
in
there.
You
know
if
you
click
here,
you
can
enter
for
prizes
or
things
like
that.
To
get
people
actually
to
open
up
the
ledger,
read
it
so
our
goal
is
to
have
20
clicks

remember
how
many
actual
how
many
newsletters
go
out
it
was?

There's
a
lot
of
anxiety
that
goes
along
with
that
when
you're
sending
out
something
to
that
many
people,
I
don't
recall
the
actual
number,
but
on
the
heels
of
what
you
just
said.
As
far
as
you
know,
the
prize
possibility
to
get
people
to
click
and
open
that
newsletter.
At
least.
We
also
are
encouraging
staff
that
when
they
issue
new
library
cards-
or
they
just
you
know
any
opportunity
that
they
have
to
make
sure
and
just
check
in
with
people.
You
know
so
did
you
if
they
call
to
find
out
about
a
particular
program.

did
you
see
that
was
in
our
last
newsletter,
all
the
information
in
the
links
to
register
or
what
have
you?
And
if
you
didn't
see
that
newsletter,
you
should
check
your
junk
file
so
that
you
can
make
sure
and
get
us
placed
as
a
safe
sender,
so
that
you
get
that
in
your
inbox.
And
you
know
you
can
stay
informed
so
that
hopefully
we're
gonna.
We're
gonna
really
push
that
as
far
as
people
realizing
that
we
actually
send
out
a
newsletter
in
that
there's
a
lot
of
really
awesome
information
in
there
for
them.

That's
something
that
we
are
working
with:
the
recreation
team,
as
they've
launched
a
few
microsites
now
for
pirates,
cove
recreation,
the
golf
course
and
when
the
new
managers
on
board
will
really
hit
that
hard
this
summer
into
the
fall
and
hopefully
have
the
site
up
by
the
end
of
2022
and
then
implements
a
study
of
current
library,
hours
and
services.
So
this
goes
along
what
I'm
going
to
talk
about
later
regarding
sunday,
services
and
overall
hours
of
the
library.

If,
if
we
had
different
hours,
would
they
come
a
big
piece
of
that,
too?
Is
going
to
be
safety
to
make
sure
people
feel
safe
coming
to
our
library
and
and
changes
that
we'll
be
making
that
we
have
already
started
making
as
well,
and
so
that
study
is
going
to
happen
this
summer
and
we'll
have
probably
a
presentation
to
you
by
fall
or
early
winter
of
the
before
the
end
of
the
year,
and
then
we
just
put
in
here
make
other
improvements
to
the
library
so
modify
existing
services.

know,
as
we
talk
to
patrons
what
do
they
want
to
see
different
projects
that
may
come
up.
Michelle
talked
about
some
of
the
outreach
with
the
resource
connect
program
and
expanding
that
even
further
to
make
sure
we're
really
reaching
the
individuals
in
our
community
with
the
resources
who
need
it
as
far
as
adult
services.
Michelle
do
you
want
to
go
over
these,
since
this
is
your
section
here,
just
a
high
level
overview.

I
can't
remember
from
movement
5280.,
so
there
are
different
databases
that
are
used
to
track
the
assistance
that,
when
you're
working
with
somebody
that's
experiencing
homelessness.
So
we're
going
to
be
talking
about
that
thursday
on
how
we
can
bring
these
organizations
together,
concerns
about
privacy
as
far
as
sharing
information.
But
how
can
we
make
it
so
that
the
resources
that
the
city
has
through
local
organizations
are
used
most
efficiently
and
effectively
for
individuals
that
are
in
need?
Let's
see
here
launching
services
for
older
adults?
E
So
we've
already
done
three
four
outreach
events
at
simon
center
and
also
orchard
place.
They're.
My
dogs
again
say
hello
to
to
make
them
aware
of
the
library
services
that
are
available
to
them,
even
when,
when
they
can't
leave
where
they're
at
so,
if
they're
homebound,
so
we're
gonna
try
an
experimental
homebound
in
bulk
delivery
service
to
both
of
those
centers.

If
it
ends
up
being
quite
the
popular
thing,
it
might
be
something
that
we
do
twice
a
month
and
then
they'll
just
when
they're
finished
with
the
item.
They'll
return
it
to
the
director
of
activities.
She'll
put
it
back
in
the
crate
and
then,
when
we
bring
new
items
in
another
crate,
we'll
swap
out
the
crates
and
bring
back
the
other
items
and
check
those
back
in.
So
we're
pretty
excited
about
that
possibility
and
we're
building
a
list
of
other
housing
venues
for
older
adults.

So
I
think
senior
living
assisted
living
and
then
potentially
memory
care
where,
even
though,
with
memory
care,
it's
a
little
bit
more
challenging
because
people
don't
necessarily
remember
that
they
checked
anything
out
from
the
library
or
that
it's
not
their
property.
We
may
be
able
to
take
items
that
we've
weeded
off
of
our
shelves
due
to
dated
material,
or
maybe
it's
just
a
little
bit
rough
around
the
edges-
that
we
don't
want
to
have
it,
leaving
our
library
to
somebody
that's
checking
out.

We
may
be
able
to
bring
them
items
that
you
know
what
you
guys
can
keep
these
until
you
don't
want
them
anymore,
and
then
we
will
then
deal
with
those
discarded
items
after
the
fact,
but
to
be
able
to
keep
people
handling
books
watching
movies
reading,
to
whatever
extent
that
they
can.
What
else
do
we
have
here.

I
don't
want
to
see
our
library
be
turned
into
a
downtown
denver
library,
because
everyone,
I
know
in
downtown
doesn't
use
the
downtown
library
anymore.
It's
completely
turned
into
a
quite
frankly
a
day,
shelter,
and
so
I
don't
want
to
dissuade
the
staff.
You
know
you're
doing
amazing
work,
but
I
want
to
make
sure
that
we
are
maintaining
the
library
as
a
library
before
we
turn
it
into.

know
a
service
provider
for
unhoused
folks.
So
you
know
that's
my
only
comments.
You
know.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
when
it
says
add
five,
you
know
three
more
providers.
What
does
that
look
like
for
the
traditional
operations
of
the
library
for
the
public
and
could
that
be
done
somewhere
else?
But
you
know
again.
I
think
this
all
looks
great.
I
just
want
you
know
I.
This
may
be
something
we
want
to
put
to
a
survey
or
engage
some
city
marketing
on
it.

We
have
to
remember:
we
are
a
public
library,
so
they
are
part
of
the
public.
So
it's
not
like
we
can
say.
Oh
no,
we've
got
our
fill
of
homeless
people
for
today,
so
you
other
homeless.
People
are
not
going
to
be
able
to
come
in
because
we're
at
our
quota,
so
they
come
in
anyway.
So
the
way
I
look
at
this
program
for
resource
connect
is
it
gives
them
the
opportunity
to
change
their
situation.

So,
instead
of
having
somebody
sack
out
in
a
chair
that
a
staff
person
is
going
to
go
and
remind
you
have
to
stay
awake
three
different
times
before
we
say.
Actually,
since
you
can't
stay
awake
in
the
library
you're
going
to
have
to
leave
for
the
rest
of
the
day,
because
sleeping
in
the
library
is
not
a
criminal
offense
or
if
they're
eating,
you
know
or
doing
some
of
those
more
minor
violations
of
code
of
conduct.

Even
though
I
highlighted
that
program
to
tell
you
about
all
the
amazing
work
that
these
wonderful
organizations
are
doing
and
the
library
is
basically
giving
them
a
space
to
be
able
to
perform
these
services
for
people,
we
are
still
providing
all
of
the
other
adult
programs
that
we
did
before
and
and
we
are
building
that
attendance
back
up
again.
But
of
course
that
is
more
challenging.
You
know
we're
still
doing
once
a
month.
Memory
cafes,
which
we've
had
a
steady
but
very
tiny
attendance
for
memory
cafe.

You
know,
because
a
minimum
we
require
a
minimum
of
three
people
for
registration
for
our
classes
to
be
able
to
have
a
staff
person
dedicated
to
that
we
did
have
to
cancel
a
few
classes,
but
once
we
rolled
into
because
we
have
a,
what
am
I
trying
to
think
of
kind
of
a
marquee
is
the
best
word
that
I
can
think
of.
We
have
a
lineup,
that's
the
word,
I'm
looking
for
of
regular
classes
and
we
do
those
in
series.
So
now
we've
rolled
into
our
excel
classes.

So
we
start
with
excel
basics
and
we
go
to
formatting
and
form
formulas,
and
then
we
go
on
to
more
advanced
excel
classes.
Those
are
book
solid,
going
forward
the
next
one
and
a
half
months,
and
then
we
roll
into
word
the
series
for
word
so
beginner
intermediate
and
advanced
word
classes
we're
still
holding
our
smartphones
classes
so
that
you
can
let
go
of
the
fear.

The
only
thing
I
ask
is
that
we
just
ensure
that
we
are
not
making
the
decision
we're
letting
the
public
make
these
decisions
and
the
more
we
can
involve
the
public
in
helping
us
guide
the
services
that
they
want
at
the
library
that
they're
the
taxpayers
of
and
paying
for
is
the
only
thing
I
want
just
sort
of
the
finger
on
the
pulse
of.
I
trust
the
staff
to
do
you're
doing
amazing
work.

don't
want
to
poo
poo
any
of
that
work
like
I
you're
doing
god's
work,
but
I
just
want
to
make
sure
we're
we're
not
getting
in
front
of
over
our
skis
of
what
the
public
wants
from
the
institution
versus
what
you
know
the
staff
or
the
board
wants,
and
so
that's
the
only
thing
I
you
know
just
utilize
that

list
surveys,
you
know,
engage
the
community
when
they're
there.
That's
you
know,
will
help
us
refine
the
action
plan
for
a
revisit
halfway
through
the
year.

I
would
encourage
the
staff
to
consider,
but
you
know
you're
you're
doing
amazing
work.
I
don't
want
to
come
across
that
I'm
challenging
you're.
You
know
you're
the
ones
in
the
front
line
of
this,

I
just
want

make
sure
that
we
are
also
engaging
the
community
as
a
whole
to
bring
folks
back
into
the
library
and
and
what
do
they
want
to
see
from
the
public
institution.

say
I
just
wasn't
thinking

words

eloquent
and
thoughtful
as

but
I
I
was
thinking
very
much
along
the
same
lines.

hope
we
that
the
library
provides
what

public
who
supports

library
wants.

the
the
mention
of
denver
downtown
is
it's
personal
to
me.

guys
are
all
saying
regarding
this

there's
a
lot
of
things
in
motion
regarding
homelessness
and
arapaho,
county
and
partners
in
the
tri-cities
and
and
and
so
what
michelle
has
been
doing
with
resource
connect.

think
we'll
roll
roll
into
a
larger
program
down
the
road
that
will
not
necessarily
be
at
the
library
it'll
be
in
a
different
facility,
and
so
it's
it's
a
conversation
to
have,
and
I
understand
what
you're
saying
and
the
concerns
that
you
have
there
too.

about
kind
of
a
mid-year
check-in
and
update
and
seeing,
if
we're
still
on
the
right
track,

we'll
plan
on
doing
that,

june

frame
kind

when
we're

we're

headed
in
the
right
direction

then
we're

resignations

assist
our
library
associates

we're
trying
to
fill
three
associate
positions.
One
was
just
death
of
yesterday
unfortunately
got
a
full-time
position.

cannot
argue
with
that,
we're
very
happy
for
them.
It's
it's
hard
in
the
library
world
to
get
full-time
jobs.
So
when
that
does
happen,
it's
sad
as
we
are
to
lose
individual,
we're
happy
for
them
to
get
a
full-time
job
and
then,
like
michelle,
mentioned,
the
part-time
security
associate
we're
trying
to
fill.
Who
would
cover
the
sunday
monday
shift
when
we
do
reopen
on
sundays.

but
if,
if
just
looking
for
your
feedback,
we
do
want
to
reopen
on
sundays,
but
I
think
from
a
logistics
standpoint
to
make
sure
we
have
enough
staff
hours
to
cover.
It
makes
sense
to
hold
off
one
more
well
a
month
and
a
half
until
we
hit
may
and
that's
about
when
summer
reading
and
everything
else
kicks
off.
So
in
more
nicer
weather
than
so
some
of
the
individuals
we
see
in
as

it
the
day,

opening

sundays

word
out

in

people

sundays

really

three
openings,

the
part-time
shifts

our
library-
and
one
thing
you
have
to
consider-
is
many
of
these
individuals
are
not
working
the
full
hours,

full

hours
a
week
due
to
they
have
multiple
jobs.
They
might
be
in
school
families.
Things
like
that
they're
only
choosing
to
work
10
to
15,
and
so
so
we're
down
three
library
associates
currently,
plus
one
security,
the
manager
and
one
full-time
librarian.

One
good
news.
Our
our
city
council
approved
a
full-time
position.
We
had
one
individual
who
had
been
with
the
library
for
20
years,
did
very
different
jobs
throughout
the
library
but
left
as
a
collection,
development,
librarian
and
when
she
left
she
was
in
a
in
a
part-time
position
and
that's
all
she
wanted,
which
was
great,
but
the
city
council
approved
to
make
that
a
full-time
position.

So
that's
another
40
hours
we're
going
to
have
an
individual
in
the
library
which
is
going
to
make
the
world
of
difference
to
have
that,
and
so
that's
something
that's
really
nice
on
the
horizon
as
well.
I
believe
that
position
is
posted,
and
so
we
are
currently
recruiting
for
that.
So
that's
that's
something,
that's
very
good,
but
we
need
to
get
that
person
on
board
and
trained
up
and
everything
too.
So
it's
looking
very
it's
looking
much
better
than
when
I
presented
to
you
all
in
january.
I'm
feeling
much
more
confident.

Covent
numbers
are
declining.
We
actually
had
one
covent
case
in
the
library,
with
one
of
our
staff.
Very
mild
came
back
within
the
five-day
time
parade
you
have
to
stay
out
and
is
doing
fine,
and
so
the
hope
is
we're
kind
of
at
the
end
of
this
fingers
crossed
and
we
won't
have
to
talk
about
it
ever
again.

can
I
ask
something
I
remember
a
few
years
ago,
when
many
more
of
the
library
positions
were
full
time
and
yes,
they
were
cut
back
to
part-time
non-benefited,
considering
how
hard
it
is
to
get
stabbed
anywhere
now.
Has
there
been
any
thought
of
seeing
if
a
couple
more
positions
could
go
full-time
to
try
to
draw
people
yeah,
I
thought
staffing
is
just.
It's
just
become
a
chronic
issue.

have
had
many
conversations
with
sean
lewis,
our
city
manager
and
tim
daughter,
assistancy
manager
and
they're
very
much
on
board
about
bringing
back
full-time
positions,
because
it
is
tough
when
you
have
great
part-timers
and
they
get
a
full-time
job
and
leave
that's
a
big
loss
for
our
library,
and
you
know
we
can't
always
offer
that
full-time
position,
and
so
the
hope
is
through
the
next
couple
budget
cycles.
Here
we
can
convert
either
some
of
the
part-time
positions
to
full-time
or
actually
get
some
full-time
positions
on
board.

So
we
can
still
house
those
part-timers,
so
they
get
experience
to
then
get
the
full-time
jobs
either
with
us
or
in
a
different
library
system.
So
yeah
scott
you're
right.
We
used
to
have
many
more
full-time
positions,
they
were
benefited
and
that
was
cut
back
so
we're
hoping
to
get
back
to
a
better,
stable
position.
That
also
happened
in
the
recreation
side,
too.
A
lot
of
positions
were
cut
and
made
part-time,
and
so
they're,
also
struggling
with
very
similar
issues
like
the
library
is.

that
is
something
that
nationwide
there's.
There
had
been
a
trend
for
the
last
several
years.
To
you
know:
cities
needed
to
cut
budgets.
The
library
was
usually
the
first
to
have
their
budget
cut,
but
through
things
like
gosh,
a
worldwide
pandemic.
I
think
city
governments
are
realizing
how
much
libraries
really
are
like
the
center
of
the
community
and
how
many
services
they
actually
offer.

You
know
usually
people
that
minimize
the
importance
of
libraries
are
people
that
have
not
been
in
the
library
in
an
incredibly
long
time,
so
they're
realizing
now
getting
pushback
from
citizens
and
things
that
wow
we.
That
was
one
area
that
we
probably
shouldn't,
have
cut
back
in
cut
back
on,
and
so
I
think
that
the
trend
now
over
the
next,
probably
five
to
ten
years,
will
be
revitalizing
city,
libraries.

we
know
adults
already
have
enough
stress
in
their
lives

once
you
complete
the
program
which
is
in
the
honor
system,
you
get

wonderfully

drinking
hot
drinking
beverage.

thing
is,
we
do
have
an
event
coming
up
in
march
march,
19th
from
two
to
five
in
the
library
we
have
a
local
authors
showcase,
so
I
hope
you

have
15
authors
that
are
signed
up
to
you

talk
to
them
about
their
books
and
how
they
get
their
story,
ideas
and
for
most
of
them
get
an
autographed
copy
of
their
book.

district

district
had

given

tumble
books.
