Description
6-10-2023 PUBLIC SAFETY EVENT
A
I'm
councilman
Alex
Padilla,
here
from
the
beautiful
city
of
Inglewood,
District
Number,
two
I'm
at
the
fire
department
here
on
sentinela
station
172
for
our
annual
fire
appreciation
day.
It
lets
our
firefighters
know
how
much
we
appreciate
the
fact
that
they
put
their
life
on
the
line
every
single
day
to
keep
our
community
safe.
So
it's
our
way
to
say.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
your
service.
Thank
you
for
all.
You
do
to
keep
our
families,
our
friends,
our
loved
ones,
safe
every
single
day.
This.
B
Is
a
great
event
that
councilman
Padilla
puts
on
it's
always
good
to
interact
with
the
community.
We
get
a
lot
of
community
support.
They
come
in.
It's
an
opportunity
for
us
to
have
a
chance
to
cook
the
community
pancakes
and
sausage
and
interact
with
the
community
shake
hands
and
to
put
names
to
faces,
to
be
able
to
to
see
us
and
not
at
a
time
not
in
their
greatest
need,
but
at
a
time
where
they
could
just
come
and
just
be
relaxed,
come
into
the
fire
station
and
feel
like
they're
at
home.
We.
A
Have
several
community
the
organizations
here
we
have
the
Inglewood
Unified
School
District,
we
had
the
American
Red
Cross.
We
have
our
Emergency
Operations
folks
here
to
talk
about
how
to
be
prepared
for
an
emergency.
So
all
these
different
booths
are
a
way
to
keep
our
folks
educated
to
keep
our
folks
engaged
and
let
them
know
about
all
the
good
things
that
we
have
going
on
in
the
city
of
Inglewood
foreign.
