Committee
of
the
whole
reports
from
standing
committees
also
at
this
point
in
time.
The
first
item
is
going
to
be
the
retirement
of
the
canine
officer,
Ric's
and
I'm
gonna.
Ask
that
we
actually
moved
the
resolution
of
appreciation.
We
can
add
it
to
the
we'll
need
a
motion
to
add
it
to
the
agenda,
but
I'd
like
to
move
that
up.
At
the
same
time.
That
way
we
can
take
care
of
the
ceremony
for
him,
and
so
I
didn't
get
him
on
his
way.
Okay
sounds
good.
Thank.
C
You,
mr.
president,
chief
Azhar,
for
read
your
letter,
you
gave
me
February,
14th,
okay,
a
canine
officer,
brics,
completed
his
police.
Training
in
2011
was
officially
sworn
in
as
norton
canine
officer
on
August
31st
2011.
Through
the
years
canine
Brix
has
proven
himself
as
a
valuable
canine
officer.
He
has
also
assisted
numerous
other
agencies
in
Summit
County
as
well.
Bricks
was
immediately
embraced
by
the
nort
community
and
loved
by
all
and
will
be
missed.
We
wish
him
the
best
of
his
retirement.
His
last
official
day
will
be
March
9th
2018.
B
H
To
thank
Council
and
mr.
mayor
and
mr.
Fowler
and
everybody
for
your
support.
Like
I,
said
all
all
of
our
everything
that
we
have
through
the
k9
program
is
off
with
donations.
So
I'd
really
like
to
thank
the
city
as
well.
The
community
as
a
whole
has
been
great.
The
the
schools
are
are
always
involved
always
help
out.
So
I
really
appreciate
that
I'd
like
to
thank
chief
Delos
and
ro
who's,
always
shown
a
lot
of
support.
He
has
treats
for
him
every
day,
so
that's
how
he
gets
paid,
but
he's
been
very
supportive.

Was
originally
set
for
an
amount
not
to
exceed
15,000,
because
we
were
going
to
have
a
trade-in
that
would
have
taken
it
approximately
down
to
that
amount.
We
have
raised
it
to
25,000
only
because
we
have
to
buy
the
vehicle
and
then
receive
reimbursement
from
the
insurance
company
of
20,000,
so
we're
actually
spending
less
for
the
car,
even
though
it
looks
like
we're
increasing
the
amount
for
the
car
I
just.
