Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting August 24, 2021
3. Public Comment
A
We'll
go
ahead
and
move
on
to
public
comments
for
items
not
on
the
agenda.
Individuals
will
be
allowed
up
to
three
minutes.
It
is
council
policy
to
refer
matters
raised
in
this
form
to
staff
for
investigation
and
or
action
were
appropriate.
The
brown
act
prohibits
the
council
from
discussing
or
acting
upon
any
matter,
not
gen
dies
pursuant
to
state
law.
Are
there
any
members
of
the
public
that
would
like
to
speak?
If
you
could
raise
your
hand
at
this
time
and
we
will
have
the
city
clerk
bring
you
in
and
first
it
will
be.
C
A
letter
to
mayor
medina,
because
I
was
very
concerned
about
something
so
I'm
going
to
read
it
to
you
now,
so
that
all
five
members
get
to
hear
this
together.
C
Dear
mayor
rico,
medina,
I'm
addressing
you
in
a
very
formal
manner,
mayor
medina,
because
I
am
very
concerned
about
the
welfare
of
our
city
workforce
in
respect
to
cova.
Today
I
watched
as
many
decisions
were
made
by
the
city
manager
to
protect
and
make
whole
our
city
workforce.
I'm
not
here
to
debate
the
wisdom
of
those
decisions.
C
C
This
question
is
especially
important
in
light
of
the
fact
many
at
city
employees
were
given
emergency
priority
access
to
these
vaccines.
I
want
to
know
how
many
employees
chose
not
to
receive
the
vaccines
and
what
measures
are
being
taken
by
the
city
manager
to
prevent
these
employees
from
infecting
other
employees
and
the
public.
C
Now
is
a
time
to
show
leadership
and
set
standards
that
will
protect
city
employees
from
each
other
and
protect
the
public
from
city
employees.
Aggressive
measures
are
being
implemented
in
the
private
sector
and
public
sector
across
the
country.
I
want
to
be
assured.
The
city
of
san
bruno
is
picking
up
the
slow
pace
it
has
demonstrated
so
far
in
its
response
to
covet.
