What's Happening Around Town September, 2012
A
Hello
welcome
to
what's
happening
around
town.
This
short
program
will
get
you
up
to
speed
with
all
the
events
and
fun
things
you
may
want
to
participate
in
here
in
San
Bruno
during
sep
tember
2012
I'm,
Stephanie
Tevez,
you
may
have
heard
about
something
called
the
transit
corridors
plan.
The
city's
Community
Development
Department
prepared
the
transit
corridors
specific
plan
to
create
a
bold
new
vision
for
concentrating
new
development
in
the
area
surrounding
the
future
san
bruno
avenue
caltrain
station.
A
The
idea
is
to
develop
a
mix
of
residential
and
commercial
uses
that
will
grow,
walkability,
transit
use
and
economic
development.
Over
the
past
few
years,
community
planning
meetings
have
been
held
as
not
only
a
way
to
educate,
but
also
to
engage
local
residents
in
shaping
how
the
future
downtown
area
will
evolve.
Plan
Bruno
org
is
a
website
developed
by
the
Community
Development
Department
as
a
tool
you
can
use
to
find
out
more
about
what
the
transit
corridors
plan
is,
how
it
will
affect
your
daily
life
as
well
as
a
place.
A
You
can
go
to
to
get
involved
and
become
part
of
shaping.
What
San
Bruno
will
look
like
in
the
future.
Go
to
the
website
and
read
the
plan
for
yourself.
The
Community
Development
Department
will
be
presenting
the
transit
corridors
plan
to
the
Planning
Commission.
This
month.
The
planning
commission
meeting
will
be
held
at
the
Senior
Center
on
Tuesday
September
18th.
At

pm.
You
can

meeting,
