A
B
You
I'd
like
to
introduce
Ursula
autumn
Ursula
K
autumn
is
CEO
of
sulla
to
LLC,
publisher,
legacy,
writer
and
author
of
several
books,
and
she
portrays
Mary
McLeod
Bethune,
as
the
one
person
show
she
was
raised
in
Georgia
graduated
from
Eckerd
College
and
is
deeply
rooted
in
Tampa
with
business,
family
and
friends.
She's
a
dear
friend
of
mine,
please
welcome
our
slack
stand
for
the
invocation
and
remain
standing
with
pledge
allegiance.
B
Dear
Lord,
we
thank
you
for
the
history
that
will
be
made
today.
We
ask
that
throughout
this
meeting,
may
unique
perspectives
be
heard
and
understood
such
that
common
sense
can
prevail.
May
those,
with
wisdom,
have
the
courage
to
speak
up
and
those
with
ability
have
the
courage
to
take
action
for
this
gathering?
May
wisdom
and
courage
come
together
for
the
good
of
all
people
for
this
community
amen.
C
A
A
D
A
B
D
With
in
our
meetings,
we're
trying
to
encourage
economic
growth
and
development
within
East
Tampa,
trying
to
clean
it
up,
trying
to
do
a
lot
to
make
the
area
a
lot
better
for
our
residents
and
so
where
we
need
your
help.
It's
helping
to.
As
you
can
see
what
the
code
enforcement
policies
is.
The
first
thing
I
have
listed.
D
You
may
have
seen
on
the
news
some
issues
that
we've
had
with
some
businesses,
locating
in
East
Tampa
that
are
operating
illegally
or
operating
where
they
should
not
be,
and
so
we've
been
taking
on
a
task
to
try
to
stop
that,
one
of
them
being
a
tax
business
and
hoping
that
none
of
our
residents
actually
went
there
to
get
their
taxes
done
because
of
the
situation
they
weren't
they
didn't
have
water
didn't
have
sewer,
didn't
have
electricity,
they
were
stealing
all
those,
and
so
we
stepped
up
to
try
to
get
that
stopped.
That's
something!
D
We
start!
That's
a
process.
We
started
a
couple
years
ago
with
code
enforcement,
but
it
kind
of
went
through
the
channels
for
a
couple
years,
and
so
we
wanted
to
see
if
we
can
get
some
policies.
That
would
give
the
businesses
a
little
bit
more
teeth.
I
mean
give
our
policy
a
little
bit
more
teeth
so
that
when
we
have
illegal
businesses
that
start
up
within
our
CRA
that
we're
able
to
police
them
a
little
bit
better
for
our
residents.
D
We'd,
like
the
city's
help
in
identifying
crucial
areas
that
we
could
use
to
bring
in
development,
whether
it's
commercial
development,
real
estate
division,
I
mean
residential,
just
areas
that
we
could
help
with
building
our
community
up
the
streetcar
the
streetcar
has
been
for
my
understanding.
It
was
on
the
table
previously
to
expand
the
streetcar
and
east
hamper,
and
so
the
streetcar
is
expanded.
Of
course,
we
would
love
to
have
an
East
Tampa,
where
it
would
service
more
of
our
residents,
the
much
more
need
at
residence,
Senior,
Center
and
every
one
of
our
meetings.
D
Our
residents
asked
for
a
Senior
Center
within
the
area,
so
we'd
love
to
have
a
Senior
Center
within
our
footprint
and
of
course
we
have
Albarn's
Park,
which
also
is
in
need
of
some
updating.
So
we
would
love
to
be
able
to
provide
a
Senior
Center
in
East
Campus,
possibly
at
our
Barnes
Park.
We
also
have,
as
you
know,
our
residents
asking
for
grocery
stores
and
a
place
where
they
can
purchase
fresh
produce
and
food,
and
in
that
grocery
we've
attempted
to
do
the
grocery
store
a
few
times
in
the
past,
and
it
hasn't
happened.
D
But
we
are
working
and
pushing
forward
to
try
to
bring
a
grocery
store
within
the
area.
So
if
that
could
also
be
something
that
we
could
have
the
assistance
of
trying
to
close
the
food
desert
gap,
a
USF
is
conducting
a
study.
I
did
provide
that
to
you
previously
and
then
just
committing
to
resources
and
funding
to
the
East
Tampa.
That's
where
we
could
use
your
help
on
the
last
page
is
what's
next
for
East
Campus
we're
and
we're
in
the
process
of
working
through
a
lot
of
things.
D
These
are
not
done
and
complete,
but
we're
working
to
put
together
a
home
buyers
club
to
educate
residents
on
becoming
homeowners
within
East
Campus.
That's
in
the
process
right
now
we're
still
working
on
how
we
could
better
assist
small
businesses
within
our
area.
Hopefully
we
can
get
a
program
together
to
actively
reach
those
individuals.
We
have
a
draft
of
an
RFP
out
right
that
we're
working
on
now
development
within
for
the
properties
that
we
have
within
East
Tampa.
D
So
hopefully
that
will
bring
on
some
more
residential
development,
but
more
so
some
commercial
development
that
we
have
and
we're
working
to.
Try
to
better
increase
code
enforcement
within
the
area.
We
have
new
new
officers
that
are
on
board
we're
working
with
code
and
we're
working
with
solid
ways
to
try
to
make
certain
that
the
illegal
dumping
and
the
look
of
East
Tampa
is
nice
and
appeasing
to
other
individuals
someplace.
That
people
would
like
to
actually
come
as
a
destination.
E
D
My
understanding
that
they
weren't
completely
compliant
with
all
the
policies
I'm,
not
certain
which
ones
they
were,
and
they
weren't
I,
know
the
the
mobile
home
that
they
were
operating
out
of
was
not
permitted
to
be
there,
and
so
do
they
have
an
actual
license
to
permit
I'm
that
part
of
not
certain
but
I,
do
know
that
our
environmental
detective
Ron
glider
would
have
that
information.
So.
E
D
E
Had
a
lot
of
discussion
during
the
last
budget,
this
framework
and
that
item
was
not
approved
by
the
current
Nair,
so
my
suggestion
would
be
to
you,
the
next
council
representative
that
start
the
discussion
in
order
to
put
the
funding
in
the
budget
to
develop
that
community
sooner
and
the
best
thing
to
do
is
get
with
Park
and
Recreation
and
find
for
them
to
do
a
scope
so
our
bonds
park,
they
determine
what
the
cost
and
feasibility
would
be
and
have
added
a
part
of
the
budget.
Discussion
that
you
like
that.
E
C
E
Be
in
coming
upon
the
next
representative
to
get
that
done
and
the
best
way
to
start
is
through
the
pocket,
Recreation
Department
cuz.
They
have
to
sign
off
on
it
and
once
they
sign
off
for
you,
you'll
have
a
new
mayor,
so
maybe
that
mayor
would
be
more
receptive
or
to
doing
this,
so
I
would
suggest
that.
E
That
the
next
representing
move
in
that
direction
get
the
ball
rolling.
Hopefully
you
might
have
some
good
local.
You
have.
The
support
of
the
community.
I
mean
my
bail,
better
bail.
She
was
down
here
many
times
discussing
this
during
the
budget
process
and
and
it
was
just
not
approved
by
the
current
administration,
but
you
might
have
hope
that
night
build
an
opportunity
for
the
next
budget
cycle.
E
E
D
The
last
time
that
came,
I
brought
the
demographics
that
we
pulled.
So
we
now
have
the
financial
demographics
and
the
the
people
there
to
to
hold
a
grocery
store.
I
actually
did
a
ride-along
with
some
developers
and
their
comment
was:
we
had
to
clean
it
up,
but
any
grocery
store
would
even
think
of
coming.
It
need
to
look
better,
and
so
that's
where
my
focus
changed
to
trying
to
make
certain
that
code
enforcement,
solid
ways
and
the
resident
you
know
we
have
to
make
it
look
better.
D
E
Yeah,
because
the
distance
that
most
people
in
any
time
have
to
travel
to
a
grocery
store,
just
don't
make
sense
to
either
go
to
publish
on
Florida,
go
to
winn-dixie
up
your
MLK
by
the
interstate.
It
just
just
don't
make
sense
with
the
traveler
that
you
have
to
make
in
order
to
just
get
to
a
store.
So,
but
keeping
that
in
mind
we
want,
we
don't
want
just
a
mom-and-pop,
though
he
wanted
legitimate
store.
E
F
E
F
E
F
Wanted
to
make
a
comment
to
you
about
the
streetcar,
because
I
think
that
the
all
for
transportation
dollars,
then
that
which
is
nine
billion
dollars
over
thirty
years,
is
going
to
present
some
real
opportunities.
As
these
priorities
get
set.
And
some
of
us
are
not
going
to
be
here
to
set
the
priorities.
A
G
Morning
board
yeah
I
would
like
to
address
councilmen
Redax
comment
concerning
a
grocery
store.
Yes,
we
have
been
chasing
a
grocery
store
for
the
East
Tampa
community,
specifically
in
the
corridor
around
21st
and
22nd
streets,
north
just
south
of
21st
Avenue,
if
those
of
you
that
had
been
around
for
a
while
know
that
we
in
the
CRA
had
acquired
some
properties
along
that
quarter
for
a
number
of
years
and
have
put
them
out
in
our
peas
and
other
other
opportunities
trying
to
lure
a
private
developer
to
build
a
grocery
store
there.
G
Prior
to
the
downturn
in
the
economy
of
2008,
we
had
a
potential
grocer,
which
was
save
a
lot.
That
was
looking
very
seriously
at
trying
to
build
a
grocery
store
there
and,
of
course,
when
the
market
crashed,
you
know
all
of
that
went
away,
and
it's
been.
It's
been
a
really
uphill
battle,
trying
to
lure
grocers
back
to
even
taking
another
look
at
at
the
particular
area.
This
goodly
is
correct.
G
She
she
had
a
developer
that
builds
grocery
stores
for
some
of
our
top
grocery
store
chains
around
the
community
that
looked
at
the
area
again
and
made
comments
that
you
know.
We
really
need
to
pay
a
lot
more
attention
to
you
know
the
appearance
of
the
community,
but
also
the
comments
that
they
also
made
to
me
was
that
we
need
more
residential
development
along
that
corridor.
We
need
more
bodies,
you
know
grocery
grocery
stores
are
notoriously
when
they
look.
When
you
look
at
their
retail
model,
it's
all
about
it's
all
about
bids.
G
If
you
do
that,
if
you're
looking
at
a
Publix-
or
you
know
a
winn-dixie
or
any
of
the
large
grocery
store
chains,
those
chains
are
on
you
know:
30
40,
50
thousand
square
feet
facilities,
so
you
need
a
lot
more
land
than
what
we
acquired
along
22nd
Street
to
attract
those
kind
of
those
kind
of
grocers.
So
it's
not
out
of
the
question.
We
just
need
to
continue
to
work
our
plan
and
hopefully
in
the
future.
You'll
you'll
be
able
to
see
that
happen.
But
this
morning
I'm
subbing
for
mr.
G
McDonough,
who
had
the
previous
appointment,
was
not
able
to
be
here
this
morning.
So
I'll
start
with
our
CRA
updates
in
downtown
we'd,
like
to
mention
that
a
developer
has
submitted
plans
on
the
parcel
just
north
of
the
Marriott
residence
at
102,
East
Tyler
for
a
mixed-use
residential
tower
development,
so
kind
of
exciting
there
in
there
in
the
downtown
CRA
channel
district
they
want.
G
East
Hampton,
you
just
certain,
is
good
Lee's
update
in
Ybor.
We
want
to
highlight
the
division
consultant.
They
hired
for
the
update
of
the
strategic
action
plan
is
on
board
and
they
are
starting
to
the
listening
session
process
with
the
community
and
I
believe
they
before
passed
out
a
flyer
this
morning
to
kind
of
talk
about
those
visions,
activities
that
are
gonna
start
taking
place
on
the
19th
of
this
month.
G
G
It's
also
her
birthday
weekend
and
she's
pledged
if
you
can
locate
her
knowing
the
parade
that
she
might
even
be
trying
to
buy
you
a
beverage
while
you're
out
there
at
that
activity.
So
Courtney
you're
on
in
drew
Park
highlight
is
on
the
linear,
Park
Boulevard
and
the
Tampa
Bay
Boulevard
the
linear
park
construction.
That
bid
was
awarded
on
March
5th
to
McKenzie
construction,
a
minority
contractor.
That's
gotten
that
work
and
they're
getting
ready
to
start
the
activity
over
in
Tampa
Heights.
G
The
key
highlight,
of
course,
is
the
Soho
Capitol
groundbreaking
that
took
place
on
the
5th
150
thousand
square
foot
facility
commercial
facility
called
Heights
Union's
creative
office.
It's
estimated
cost
of
41
million
dollars
and
DPR
is
the
general
contractor
for
that
development
in
Central
Park.
It's
exciting
to
finally
hear
that
the
community
advisory
committee
has
been
formed
and
they
actually
held
their
first
meeting
yesterday,
so
they're
still
recruiting
some
members
for
the
CAC
for
Central
Park.
G
But
activity
is
starting
to
happen
there
over
on
West
Tampa,
the
the
West
Tampa
CAC
subcommittee,
development
is
in
process
and
they're
working
on
the
subcommittee's
now
are
starting
to
work
and
identify
projects
and
programs
that
they
want
to
develop
as
part
of
their
work
effort.
So
that's
it
on
their
CRA
updates.
If
you
have
any
questions
any.
H
If
you're
here
to
speak
in
a
medicine
for
public
hearing
and
today's
agenda,
you
will
have
an
opportunity
to
address
the
scary
and
bedtime
police
know
that
this
hearing
is
not
a
traditional
public
forum
limits,
the
scope
of
its
public
comments
to
manage
within
the
detergent
purview
of
the
Sierra
in
its
efforts
to
conduct
its
public
business.
Please
address
your
comments
to
vicious
or
manners
before
the
CRA
as
a
body
and
not
directed
to
any
individuals.
They
are
a
member
or
CRNA
staff
members.
Each
speaker
will
have
three
minutes
to
speak.
H
I
I
I'm
discussing
things,
because
America
is
further
along
with
things
that
are
going
on
and
I
understand.
People
are
concerned
about
urine
chips
being
in
Chicago.
I
already
told
you
that
I
needed
that
situation
to
calm
down
or
I'll
shut
it.
Now
myself
and
like
look
I'm,
you
explain
this
about
legal
and
state
and
what's
going
on
legal
and
state,
we
want
a
child
to
become
a
part
of
the
American
family.
I
That
is
why
there
is
a
global
revolution:
hey
I
am
of
all
average
and
this
indigenous
peoples
rising
up
and
taking
on
their
positions.
Trump
is
a
release,
are
not
one
of
your
type
of
President?
It's
not
one
of
your
slave
runners
he's
the
only
one
that
turned
the
other
way
and
decided
that
helped
with
releasing
of
the
people.
I
That's
where,
like
you
know,
hopefully
I
was
trying
to
explain
to
you
the
State
Department,
trying
to
explain
you
that
we
have
a
global
inheritance
that
we're
trying
to
job
for
people,
but
you
have
to
come
back
in
the
law.
You
have
to
come
back
to
to
Family
Values
and
then
look
I
put
job,
not
this
job
over.
Here,
that's
just
on
business.
Your
life
is
your
job.
It's
a
it's
a
true
way
like
all
of
this.
Since
system
bad
controls
come
back
in
the
law
I'm
the
policy.
I
You
claim
that
you
do
not
follow
law.
You
claim
that
you
do
not
follow
God.
You
claim
that
you
do
not
follow
anything
righteous.
You
claim
to
follow
your
own
way
as
I
told
you
cease
and
desist.
You
lost
all
control,
January
1st
2018
when
we
took
controls
and
we
have
not
laid
down
any
controls
or
anything
like
that.
J
J
J
They
said
no
white
businesses
down
downtown,
they
giving
them
grants
and
not
for
no
electric
bill
in
the
water
bill.
They
giving
them
startup
grants,
initiatives,
taxpayers,
money,
city,
money,
state,
money,
federal
money,
and
then
they
give
them
affirmative
action
money,
that's
what
they
doing
and
they
got
all
the
Negroes
trick
and
they
always
liked
the
color,
some
nasty.
That's
the
first
thing
they
say
about
us.
Are
we
gonna
clean
up?
East
Tampa?
J
We
got
to
clean
up
East
Tampa.
We
got
to
clean
up
the
black
neighborhood.
We
got
to
clean
up
the
dope.
We
got
to
clean
up
again
we're
gonna
clean
up
the
drugs
white
folks
use
way
more
drugs
than
we
do
smoke
more
dope,
shoot
more
heroin,
use
more
knock,
em
and
everything
else,
and
nothing-
and
you
got
this
garbage
talker
here.
Oh
yes,
the
real
the
the
trial
he's
going
to
be.
This
big
thing:
that's
what
they
used
to
tell
us
with
the
Buccaneers
and
all
these
tax
initiatives
they
have.
J
Oh,
the
Buccaneers
is
going
to
bring
hope
and
glory
to
the
black
community,
nothing
absolutely
positively.
Nothing
Channelside
High
Park,
Harbor,
Island,
Davis,
Island,
Bayshore,
Boulevard,
Seminole,
Heights,
Ybor
City.
What's
your
district,
revitalize
nothing
in
a
black
neighborhood,
absolutely
positively?
Nothing!
J
J
Perry,
Harvey,
nothing!
Gwen,
Miller,
nothing
for
ugly
husband,
nothing,
less,
Miller,
nothing!
Reverend,
Scott,
nothing!
This
new
one,
nothing!
And
for
the
lady
who
like
to
stand
up
and
walk
out
when
I'm
speaking,
that's
what
Hitler
used
to
do
to
the
Jews.
He
wanted
to
hear
nothing.
They
had
to
say.
C
You
know
coming
down
here.
It
used
to
be
said
in
our
community
that
if
we
wanted
anything
done,
we
needed
to
speak
to
our
representatives,
and
this
has
been
the
attempt
for
a
very
long
time.
The
tones
and
the
volumes
might
be
high,
but
the
reality
is.
Nothing
is
changing.
I,
remember
coming
down
here
just
a
couple
of
months
ago,
talking
about
how
we
needed
a
but
different
home,
our
turn.
C
Then
what
we've
seen
happening
with
the
city
given
domain
homes,
100
Lots,
plus
a
million
dollars-
then
we
see
that
pay
not
pay
off,
but
the
cut
off,
plus
a
few
nonprofits
to
get
ten
lights
and
ten
lights
and
those
ten
lights.
So
what
also
is
this?
An
inferior
product?
People
are
called
it
now
saying
how,
in
less
than
one
year,
their
homes
are
losing
value.
C
But
the
point
that
I
want
to
really
make
this
morning
is
that
when
we
was
talking
about
container
homes,
people
in
the
city
government
know
it
was
already
happening
in
East
Tampa.
The
only
thing
that
was
not
happening
in
these
Tampa
is
that
it
wasn't
being
made
by
black
people.
So
there's
a
beautiful
container
home
down
in
east
hamper
wonderful
man
that
look
like
he's.
Gonna,
be
a
neighbor,
wonderful
pioneer,
but
it's
not
African
American.
C
We
are
seeing
our
community
being
gender
Pride
justified
Jennifer
identified.
Yes,
we
welcome
new
neighbors,
but
ideas
of
our
communities
are
always
held
back
because
the
money
that
we
think
is
set
aside
to
rehab
our
community
revitalize
our
community
is
always
on
another
mission
so
to
see
our
a
being
existence.
So
what
has
it
done?
The
city
wanted
the
police
substation.
They
got
that
they
won't
retention
ponds.
They
got
that
they
won't
roundabouts,
they
won't
debt
jump
start
up,
started
African
Businesses
the
way
we
do
our
African
business
district
in
our
community.
C
C
It
should
be
labeled
as
a
city
of
hate,
because
every
couple
of
self-determination
itself
itself
by
those
black
folks
that
can
come
down
here
and
get
some
little
monetary
recognition.
It's
always
disrespected
we're
going
to
get
prepared
ready,
because
what
their
crane
boys,
the
grocery
store,
isn't
gonna
happen.
It's
not
gonna
happen
in
my
lifetime,
not
in
the
next
10
years,
when
15
years
from
now
this
CRA
all
across
the
nation
to
be
sunset
and
we're
gonna
still
be
using
the
same
term.
Crime
is
high.
K
Good
morning
my
name
is
pastor
Frank
Williams
church
located
at
11:12.
You
scot-free
and
I
commend
thee
to
people
that
come
up
in
speaking
the
truth,
then
you
all
know
exactly
how
you
all
of
mistreating
people
would
call
us,
and
you
never
want
to
do
nothing.
You
never
never
will
do
nothing.
I
was
looking
I
was
reading
the
paper,
fueled
up
so
go
wait.
It
took
be
accosted
and
put
them
in
the
in
jail
and
lock
them
up
for
life.
K
Now
what
we
gonna
do
about
these,
why
priests
burn
all
them
that
don't
mess
around
and
sex
with
little
boys
and
all
that
stuff
and
now
I'm
the
boy?
What
they
did
this
and
all
that
stuff
I
mean
doing
nothing
about
that,
and
but
yet
we
can
take
the
black
man
inside
to
destroy
him,
not
on
the
client,
but
all
this
for
me,
but
I
have
to
tell
you
something.
We
don't
read
some
scripture
to
you
out
of
the
book
of
Hosea.
K
I
know
a
lot
of
you
don't
believe
in
the
Bible,
but
I
do
I
believe
in
God,
with
all
my
heart
for
chapter
but
who
the
hell
say,
hear
the
words
of
the
Lord.
He
children,
the
beautiful,
but
a
Lord
has
controversy.
With
the
inhabitant
of
the
land
we
caught
there
with
no
truth
now:
I'm
nursing,
our
knowledge
of
God
in
the
land,
and
that's
so
true.
God
has
given
us
instruction.
The
letters
know
the
truth,
people
that
don't
believe
in
God.
K
Don't
try
to
trouble
me
because
I'm
a
believer
if
you
don't
believe
in
God.
That's
your
problem,
I'm
a
believe
in
God,
Almighty
I
accepted
Jesus
Christ
as
my
Lord
and
sees
it
and
I
just
want
to
tell
y'all.
The
only
reason
we
are
here
is
because
of
God
Almighty.
He
created
the
heaven
and
the
earth,
and
now
we
want
to
teach
you
to
take
gun
to
school.
Let
me
tell
you
all
something:
when
I
was
going
to
school,
we
prayed
before
we
went
when
in
clay,
but
nowadays
the
Chernus.
K
It's
not
praying
and
y'all
don't
wanting
to
pray.
You
pray
you
want
to
put
you
out
of
school,
I
mean
what
kind
of
world
are
we
living
in
today?
That's
because
we
got
so
many
atheist
time.
Oh,
we
shouldn't
do
this
dude
I,
don't
believe
him
just
here,
I,
don't
believe
in
garbage
and
God
We
Trust
I
care
less
than
the
damn.
What
you
believe
is
what
I
believe
and
I
believe
in
God,
Almighty
and
I'ma
live
according
to
the
words
of
God
I'm
trying
to
but
y'all
are
trying
to
destroy
it.
K
K
That's
all
the
heavy
two
people
that
just
died
from
Louis
up
here
him
in
here
and
neither
just
him,
but
do
something
thought
what
they
saying:
Dan
doing
numbers
speaking
the
truth
put
that
fence
around
a
mill
sandwich,
children
and
everybody
to
go
right
in
walk
and
take
exercise,
and
you
just
throw
it
at
when
you're
stressed
central,
just
throwing
22nd.
Thank
you
very
much.
One
West
Capitol
you're
on
HIPAA
thing:
yes,.
A
A
A
D
It
was
the
most
voted
upon
a
project
in
the
class,
and
so,
although
it
is
a
class
project,
it
is
something
that
we're
working
to
I
would
like
to
see
see
if
we
can
bring
it
to
fruition.
The
idea
is
to
put
together
a
huge
warehouse,
just
like
our
mature
works,
but
again
the
anchor
would
be
a
grocery
store
inside
would
be
small
shops
for
small
businesses
that
are
within
East
Tampa
to
have
a
place
to
conduct
business
and
also
one
retail
store
that
would
rent
out
shelf
space
to
businesses.
D
So,
if
you're,
a
small
business
that
makes
a
smaller
product
where
you
can't
afford
to
rent
an
entire
retail
space,
you
could
actually
rent
a
shelf
within
this
play.
The
store
in
order
to
sell
your
business
also
inside
would
be
a
commercial
kitchen
that
would
allow
for
food
trucks
and
catering
businesses
to
have
a
location
that
they
could
come
in
to
prepare
their
food
in
a
commercial
kitchen.
D
Also
just
like
a
huge
meeting
area
just
like
our
mature
works,
where
people
can
come
and
have
coffee
have
a
drink
Wi-Fi
there,
and
also
since
our
mature
works,
has
the
river
as
their
focal
point.
Our
idea
was
to
have
nature
as
the
focal
point.
The
location
is.
The
huge
environmental
retention
pond
on
26th
Avenue
at
26th,
Street
East
Tampa
is
the
home
of
27
retention
ponds
and
so
we'd
like
to
start
seeing
something
done
with
the
retention
ponds.
D
I
did
speak
with
the
miss
gene,
the
director
of
transportation
of
storm
water
and
the
retention
ponds
could
be
developed,
but
of
course,
they
have
to
be
developed
in
a
proper
way.
So
we're
looking
at
how
we
could
develop
that
retention,
pond
I
believe
which
is
the
largest
one
within
the
city,
to
conduct
business
there.
So,
although
it
is
a
school
project
and
we're
working
out,
the
ideas
I'd
like
to
see
that
project
go
forward
and
actually
come
to
fruition,
so
I'm
just
bringing
that
forward
to
you.
D
A
G
Okay,
at
Johnson
again
each
Tampa
CRA
measure
number
three:
is
a
commercial
facade
grant
for
the
drew
park
community?
This
is
a
twenty
one.
Thousand
one
hundred
to
ten
dollar
funded
grant
to
glens
wheel
polishing
company,
the
owner
of
that
development
will
also
be
investing
26.
Excuse
me,
twenty
nine
thousand
six
hundred
and
seventy
seven
dollars
this
is
go
to
the
ELMO.
This
is
where
it
where
it.
Actually,
this
is
the
building
here
and
they
will
be
making
some
major
improvements
to
this
facility
to
make
it
more
modern,
I.
A
G
Number
four:
is
the
Cuban
Club,
the
Cuban
Club
foundation,
go
to
the
ELMO
you'll,
be
able
to
see
this
particular
building.
That's
the
Cuban
Club.
This
is
a
request
to
the
tune
of
$50,000
and
the
owners
of
the
Cuban
Club.
The
foundation
is
also
putting
in
an
additional
sixty
thousand
dollars
to
make
improvements
to
this
facility,
and
it's
up
for
your
consideration.
G
Number
five
is
one
for
East
Tampa.
This
is
actually
a
program
change
that
we're
wanting
to
make
reallocating
$500,000
from
our
neighborhood
infrastructure
line
item
to
road
resurfacing
project
that
we
do
annually
in
East
happen
to
improve
the
the
streets
in
East
Tampa
in
this
particular
area
is
going
to
be
from
Hillsborough
Avenue,
going
south
to
mcgary
from
15
Street
over
to
Taliaferro,
and
that's
the
program
change
that
we're
looking
for
this
morning.
H
Cre
mr.
wife,
because
I
know,
if
ever
come
to
fruition,
there's
pipes
on
the
ground
that
mostly
are
nice,
Tampa
West
happen.
Parts
of
South
Tampa
at
over
a
hundred
years
old
I
want
to
make
sure
that
we
don't
pave,
and
then
years
later
would
have
to
unbreak
the
pavement
to
put
pipes
out
there
that
you
transmission
line
for
to
carry
treatment.
Yes,.
G
Matter
of
fact,
are
our
roads
and
grounds
Department,
who
we
actually
partner
with
on
doing
this
work.
They
actually
have
taken
this
this
area
to
take
it
a
more
serious
look
at
how
they
look
at
each
one
of
these
areas
to
include
stormwater
improvement,
sidewalks
water
wastewater
things
of
that
nature.
So
it's
it's!
It's
very
well
looked
after
before
we
make
the
fully
make
the
investment.
G
34Th
Street
is
still
it's
still
in
in
the
works.
They
were
at
a
hundred
percent
completion
with
the
design
of
what
we're
doing
on
34th
Street
as
you
as
you
recall,
the
the
the
project
is
going
to
entail
major
improvements
to
the
Sun.
You
know
the
sidewalks
wrote
again
road
resurfacing,
we're
not
tearing
up
the
whole
streets
or
anything
of
that
nature,
but
resurfacing
like
we
did
on
22nd
Street
years
ago.
It's
that
same
kind
of
project,
if
there's
an
ability
or
there's
funding
available
to
do
stormwater
in
wastewater
and
water
upgrades
along
that
corridor.
G
That
will
also
be
taken
into
consideration
as
part
of
this
project.
Aesthetically
we're
looking
at
three
roundabouts
along
the
34th
Street
Quarter,
as
you
recall,
and
there
will
be
some
investment
from
the
TIF
that
will
include
aesthetic
improvements
along
that
quarter
right
now.
It's
we're
very
still
finishing
up
on
the
on
the
design
side
of
it
and
we're
still
conducting
meetings
out
in
the
community
wanting
to
make
sure
that
the
community
is
still
on
board.
With
this
project.
