If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
The
first
9
a.m,
meeting
of
the
lifestyle
and
community
committee,
and
I
have
to
say
I'm
very
shocked
at
recent
events,
as
I'm
sure
you
all
are
seeing
council
lecastro
up
this
early.
A
Please
please
to
have
you
joining
us
as
well
remotely
councillor
the
councils.
We
don't
have
too
much
on
the
agenda
today,
although
we
will
take
the
opportunity,
I'm
sure,
to
make
a
few
amendments
to
some
city
officer
recommendations.
A
That's
right
now,
before
proceeding
with
the
agenda,
what
I
propose
doing
is
moving
a
an
apology
on
a
motion,
noting
the
apology
of
counsellor
gail
o'neal,
that's
seconded
by
councillor,
toza
I'll,
put
that
to
a
vote
councillors,
all
those
in
favor.
A
All
those
against
that
is
carried
counselors
item.
Three
deals
with
the
confirmation
of
minutes.
What
I'd
propose
doing
is
starring
that
unless
there
are
any
questions,
no,
which
leaves
us
with
items,
three
four
sorry
you're
right,
council
gates,
that's
right
items!
Three,
four,
five
point:
one
six
point:
one
six
point:
two
starred
six
point:
three
I
feel
can
be
started
as
well.
Did
anyone
have
questions
on
six
point?
Three?
A
No!
Let's
start
that
and
there
will
be
a
changed
recommendation
with
streets
of
remembrance
and
the
oxenford
men's
shed,
which
is
closed
item
and
a
general
business
item.
It's
been
drafted
with
the
support
of
city
offices
to
tidy
up
an
earlier
recommendation
council.
So
what
I'm
looking
for,
unless
there
are
any
objections,
is
somebody
to
support
the
movings
of
items
3
to
6.3
as
start
items.
A
Thank
you
councillor,
gates,
seconded
by
councillor,
caldwell
I'll,
put
that
to
a
vote
councillors,
all
those
in
favor
all
those
against
that
is
carried
councils.
We
now
turn
to
item
6.4,
which
deals
with
the
streets
of
remembrance
program.
You
may
recall
some
time
ago.
I
think
council
caldwell,
that
I
carried
or
moved
a
recommendation,
a
general
business
item,
rather
that
sought
to
mirror
a
very
successful
program
carried
out
by
brisbane
city
council
here
on
the
gold
coast.
A
B
A
Thanks
councillor
caldwell
a
good
catch,
so
long
story,
short
councillors,
we
had
a
general
business
item.
It
prompted
a
body
of
work.
The
aspiration
of
the
council,
as
I
understood
it,
was
to
mirror
brisbane's
program,
will
received
a
memorandum
from
city
offices
which
identified
only
a
few
qualifying
streets
under
the
program,
as
city
officers
saw
fit,
that
prompted
councillors,
belden
lumsden,
caldwell
and
myself
to
meet
with
directors,
swain
and
eurons
and
city
officers
to
discuss
the
way
in
which
city
officers
had
responded
to
our
general
business
item.
A
Following
on
from
that
discussion,
which
involved
a
clarification
on
our
part,
city
offices
have
now
proposed
a
different
approach
and
they're
seeking
the
input
of
the
council
to
effectively
ratify
their
view.
What
I'm
proposing
councillors
is
that
in
place
of
the
city
officer
recommendation,
which
is
that
we
pursue
with
option
two.
In
fact,
we
pursue
option
three
to,
in
my
view,
more
closely
merit
brisbane's
approach
and,
to
the
extent
that
there
may
be
familial
reasons
to
acknowledge
service
rather
than
an
individual's
service,
rather
than
using
the
adf
logo.
A
We
have
an
opportunity
to
use
the
red
poppy
logo,
so
this
will
allow
us
to
more
comprehensively
more
equitably
across
all
divisions,
recognize
families
that
have
made
a
sacrifice
so
council's.
What
I'm
proposing
is
adopting
option
three
and
would
invite
any
early
discussion
around
whether
that's
appropriate
or
not.
Cancer
called
well.
A
All
right,
so
if
we
could
switch
out
option
two
for
option
three
I'll
move
that
and
seconded
by
councillor
caldwell
councils,
do
you
have
any
questions
on
that
approach?
A
Any
speakers
against
no
I'll
put
that
to
a
vote,
all
those
in
favor
all
those
against
that
is
carried.
Thank
you
very
much
and
can
also
thank
all
the
city
officers
that
have
been
involved
in
this
process.
It's
actually
been
a
really
good
example
of
city
offices
and
councillors,
working
behind
the
scenes
to
better
understand
each
other's
perspectives,
and
while
we've
adopted
option
three
rather
than
option
two,
which
was
your
preference,
thank
you
for
giving
us
the
ability
to
exercise
that
discretion
to
meet
community
expectation.
I
really
appreciate
the
background
work.
Thank
you
counselors.
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
Welcome
viewers
good
to
have
you
back.
We
missed
you
as
much
as
you
missed
us.
I'm
sure
we
have
a
motion
that
will
now
be
considered
by
the
meeting.
It's
moved
by
councillor,
caldwell
seconded
by
councillor
gates
reads,
is
displayed
on
the
screen.
Council.
Caldwell
is
still
happy
to
move
that
council
gates
after
the
second
any
questions
or
speakers
against
that
item
councillors
no
councillor
caldwell.
Would
you
like
to
make
a
contribution
or
happy
for
that
to
be
put
to
a
vote
I'll?
A
A
A
It's
phenomenal,
but
in
order
to
ensure
that
the
program
runs
as
smoothly
as
possible
and
that
we're
able
to
minimize
or
mitigate
any
need
to
manage
conflicts
of
interest,
city
officers
have
come
up
with
some
new
words
to
amend
the
second
part
of
our
historic
resolution
and
essentially
what
it
does
counsellors
is
move
us
from
an
opt-in
to
an
opt-out
model
and
allows
the
program
to
be
delivered
by
city
offices
rather
than
by
our
offices.
But
I
can
assure
you
that
we'll
be
deeply
engaged
in
the
process.
So.
A
Counts,
sorry,
that
was
not
what
I
was
expecting
if
we
could
just
the
the
unnumbered
paragraph
should
be
the
extent
of
the
recommendation.
A
So
it
would
read,
or
the
recommendation
or
the
motion
reads,
the
council
resolution
blah
blah
blah
part
2,
be
replaced
to
read
as
follows:
that
the
program
be
delivered
as
a
city-wide
program
administered
by
the
safe
and
livable
communities,
branch
with
divisional
support
for
local
promotion
and
review
of
eligible
streets
within
respective
divisions
councils.
I'm
happy
to
talk
to
it,
but
I
can
tell
you
this
is
a
sensible
measure
that
will
ensure
that
this
program
is
delivered
as
cheaply
and
efficiently
as
possible
and
lots
of
communities
benefit
from
it.
A
We
to
committee,
haven't
city
officers,
have
acted
on
our
direction
they
presented
me
as
committee
chair.
I
suppose
an
overview
of
what
was
proposed
could.
B
We
can
do
both
things.
We
can
also
give
you
a
bit
of
a
quick
update
now
if
you'd,
like
thanks
thanks
counselor
through
you,
mr
chair,
so
yeah,
we've
based
on
the
previous
council
resolution.
We've
drafted
a
package
with,
I
guess,
nomination
forms
guidelines
for
the
program
and
some
draft
collateral
in
terms
of
promotional
materials.
So
that's
actually
scheduled
to
go
out
to
councillors
this
week
and
then
we
just
wanted
to
clarify
today.
B
A
So,
just
as
a
refresher
council
gates-
and
I
suppose
for
the
benefit
of
those
tuning
in
the
purpose
of
the
neat
street
program-
is
to
empower
communities
to
understand
how
council
can
help
maintain
their
areas,
but
also
empower
civic-minded
residents
to
help
look
after
their
own
neighborhoods
as
well.
So
participation
in
the
program
is
really
simple:
a
group
of
residents
can
get
together
in
a
street.
A
They
download
a
checklist
or
collect
a
copy
from
our
office,
complete
the
checklist
which
basically
makes
sure
that
their
streets
graffiti-free
things
are
in
good
order
and
subject
to
the
review
and
involvement
with
our
divisional
officers.
Those
streets
may
have
the
opportunity
to
be
recorded
as
a
neat
street
on
an
honour
roll
that
appears
on
our
website
in
the
same
way
that
the
streets
of
remembrance
program
works.
A
It
does
two
things
number
one.
It
builds
community
pride,
but
two,
it's
actually
a
good
way
of
communicating
with
residents
the
proper
channels
to
report
all
these
minor
maintenance
issues
that
can
accumulate
over
time,
because
people
don't
understand
how
how
to
report
them.
The
collateral
looks
pretty
phenomenal.
I
think
the
team's
done
a
great
job.
C
I'm
supportive-
and
I
know
that
I
supported
the
last
program-
I'm
just
a
little
tiny
bit
concerned
of
the
implications
that
might
flow
on
from
it.
Where
there's
a
legal
infrastructure
and
what
have
you
on
foot
paths,
which
I
mean
you.
You
can
barely
go
down
the
street
that
you
don't
come
across
and
I'm
just
worried
about
the
cost
implications
on
the
city
in
regard
to
streets
nominating
and
then
there
being
issues
that
require
additional
attention.
A
Yeah,
so
thanks,
council
gates,
the
director
can
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
but
I
understand
that
our
maintenance
team
have
been
well
and
truly
engaged
as
part
of
this
process
and
helped
inform
some
of
the
questions,
even
so
that
that
perfectly
happy
and
welcome
this
program
because
again,
even
from
our
divisional
office
perspective,
it's
a
really
good
education
tool.
It's
almost
a
trojan
horse
in
terms
of
getting
an
important
corporate
communication
message
out
director.
B
Yeah
so
through
the
chair,
so
we've
worked
with
the
maintenance,
crew,
michael
hamm's
team
and
ti,
but
also
with
customer
contact
in
terms
of
that
messaging,
to
make
sure
that
this
is
all
going
to
connect.
So
you
know
where
I
think
everyone's
satisfied
that
they've
had
their
import
and
this
would
be
fairly
low
risk
as
well.
A
C
Perhaps,
being
I'm
not
trying
to
make
any.
C
To
the
fact
that
if
many
streets
were
raised
there
might
be
local
law
issues.
A
So,
council
gates,
I'm
sure,
you'll,
be
satisfied
that
the
checklist
is
about
building
pride,
not
causing
neighborhood
dispute.
So
maybe,
when
you
see
the
checklist
that
might
give
you
comfort
that
people
aren't
going
to
be
making
life
difficult
for
their
neighbours,
but
rather
taking
responsibility
for
things
like
graffiti
and
potholes,
and
one
of
the
other
key
benefits
I
think
from
this
program.
A
Is
it
actually
clarifies
what
a
state
issues
and
what
are
council
issues
as
well,
even
to
the
extent
that
tmr
is
a
referral
agency
for
complaints,
so
seems
to
be
a
positive
thing
and
only
a
trial
as
well
yeah.
So
we've
only
endorsed
it
for
12
months.
A
D
Question,
thank
you
so
yeah.
My
question
is
just
actually
in
the
context
of
the
information
that
was
in
the
cut
and
paste
prior.
So
am
I
writing
saying
that
effectively.
The
change
is
that,
under
the
previous
resolution,
it
might
have
been
implied
that
it
was
kind
of
run
by
a
divisional
office
as
opposed
to
a
city-wide
and
and
this
this
effectively
gives
off
and
enables
the
divisional
office
now
to
to
lean
on
the
second
levels,
community
unit,
for
the
administrative
oversight
of
the
program
which
one
trying
to.
A
Yes,
to
run
a
right
to
get
people
involved
in
the
neet
street
program,
so
it
could
have
been
just
a
division,
one,
two,
three,
nine
four,
eleven
twelve
thing.
The
the
trouble,
though,
is
that
if
we
ended
up
with
a
majority
of
divisions
represented
that
there
would
be
this
communication
issue
with
the
community,
because
some
people
may
not
be
eligible
because
divisional
officers
might
have
felt
that
they
weren't
properly
resourced
to
run
the
campaign.
A
But
having
slimmed
down
the
scope
of
the
neat
street
program,
city
offices
are
now
satisfied
that
they
have
the
resources
to
run
it
across
the
whole
city.
So
there's
less
administrative
impost
on
us
as
divisional
officers,
there's
a
streamlined
and
transparent
process
for
city
offices,
but
the
protection
for
us
and
the
involvement
of
our
community
or
representation
of
our
community
is.
We
have
an
opportunity
to
review
every
nomination
that
comes
in
because
there
might
be
some
ground
truthing
that
we
can
do
that
city
officers
running
the
program
centrally
may
not
be
able
to
so
just.
A
D
A
And
I
think
the
viewers
and
correct
me
from
wrong
director
or
through
you
to
brooke
the
idea
is
that
there
may
be
an
ultimate
prize
winner
that
is
considered
or
awarded
through
the
merrell
sofa
suburbs
forum.
So
in
that
sense
there
is
an
opportunity
to
load
the
neatest
street
that
participated,
but
all
neat
streets
in
our
community
have
an
ability
to
be
recognized
right.
D
D
A
Saying
you're
being
disrespectful,
I'm
just
saying
it
doesn't
pay
mind
to
the
fact
it
was
a
general
business
item.
So
the
general
business
item
that
precipitated
this
was
to
ask
city
officers
to
go
away
and
develop
an
each
street
program.
So
I,
given
that
I
moved
the
general
business
item.
I
didn't
table
a
list
of
questions
to
inform
your
decision
at
the
time.
A
A
All
right
counselors
any
speakers
against
any
further
questions.
No
I'll
move
that
all
those
in
favor
all
those
against
that's
carried
counts
as
any
further
general
business
items
before
we
close
bob.
I'm
not
sure
if
this
affects
you
mate.
Maybe
you
should
just
mute
your
speakers
for
a
second,
but
the
transport
committee
has
been
moved
to
130
today
due
to
a
disaster
management
meeting,
so
stick
to
the
original
time
bob,
if
you're
going
to
make
it
and
then
we'll
see
you
at
1
30.
