From YouTube: e-NABLE SPC Meeting - January 8, 2021
Description
This is a recording of the e-NABLE Strategic Planning Committee meeting for Friday, January 8, 2021.
The notes/agenda document can be found here: http://bit.ly/2JZJdy5
A
Okay,
we're
recording
so
get
started
here,
yeah.
So
first
up
we
have
a
a
new
guest
to
welcome
isabella
welcome
thanks
for
joining
us.
Maybe
you
could
take
a
moment
to
introduce
yourself
and
just
let
us
know
a
little
bit
about
your
background
and
sort
of
interest
where
you're
looking
to
get
involved.
B
Sure
hi
hi
everyone,
my
name
is
isabella
kaplan,
I'm
a
grad
student
at
brandeis
university,
I'm
getting
my
social
impact
mba
and
an
mma
in
international,
sustainable
development
and
last
semester.
I
did
an
internship
with
field
ready
where
I
stumbled
into
the
world
of
distributed
manufacturing.
That
was
a
whirlwind.
It
is
a
crazy
new
field
that
I'm
I
love
learning
about,
and
I
was
studying
governance
models
of
the
distributed
manufacturing
world
and
to
move
my
knowledge
forward.
B
A
So
we
do
these
meetings
once
a
week.
You're
welcome
to
join
whenever
you're
available
topics
vary,
but
it's
basically
just
an
opportunity
for
us
to
talk
about
anything
affecting
the
community
as
a
whole
and
kind
of
see
what
we
can
do
to
free
up
any
roadblocks
and
offer
suggestions
or
recommendations
to
the
community
of
of
things
that
might
be
beneficial,
but
at
the
end
of
the
day
we're
you
know.
Our
name
is
a
little
misleading.
A
We,
you
know,
we
call
this
the
strategic
planning
committee,
but
you
know
we're
really
here
as
a
sort
of
an
advisory
body
to
try
to
support
the
community
any
way
that
we
can
so
like.
I
said
good
to
have
you
and
you're
welcome
to
join
us
any
weeks
that
you're
available
no
need
to
rsvp
if
you're,
not
so
we're
gonna
go
through
our
action
items
here
and
then
we'll
get
into
our
regular.
A
That's
right:
you're
gonna
have
to
come
right
back
off
mute,
so
the
first
two
are
for
you
any
updates
on
finding
a
video
concierge
candidate
for
ewc
bob.
You.
C
A
C
Maybe
there's
a
better
way,
maybe
I'm
not
being
effective,
but
you
know
when
somebody
says
my
fill
in
the
blank.
My
friend
my
nephew,
my
daughter,
my
son,
my
wife
needs
a
device
and
you
know
we
have
a
template
for
that
right.
I
I
put
the
template
there
and
then
I
put
it
in
a
paragraph.
At
the
end,
I
insert
my
own
paragraph
that
says:
look
if
you're
in
the
us,
but
we're
happy
to
help
you
please.
Let
me
know
if
this
is
okay.
A
So
here's
a
suggestion
don't
give
them
the
instructions,
just
don't
even
tell
them
how
to
get
a
hand
just
say:
we've
got
a
platform
set
up
to
help
manage
this
whole
process.
Let
me
know
when
you're
available
we'll
set
up
a
session
and
I'll
take
you
through
it
and
we'll
get
you
set
up.
Just
just
leave
it
at
that.
That
way,
they
have
no
option
to
proceed
other
than.
A
Right
next,
one
is
to
talk
to
you.
A
D
A
C
E
I
got
an
email
response
from
the
last
newsletter,
which
you
know
basically
in
a
nutshell.
Somebody
wants
a
hand
for
their
family
member
but
again
in
response
to
the
newsletter.
So
bob-
and
I
have
been
involved
with
responding
to
this
this
case
really
and
the
person
was
asking
for
photos-
and
I
thought
that
was
an
interesting
pre-first
step.
So
this
is
somebody
that
they
want
to
be
involved.
They
want
a
device,
but
sending
them
pictures
of
the
different
designs
might
be
something
we
can
consider
sort
of.
E
As
you
know,
just
to
give
people
some
motivation.
Now
again
we
did
get.
There
has
been
a
response
back
and
forth
with
this
individual,
but
it's
it's
also
been
a
little
bit
of
a
stalemate.
E
So
I'm
not
saying
that
this
is
the
the
only
solution,
but
we
might
want
to
think
about
forward-facing
materials
that
can
motivate
people
that
are
interested
in
into
the
process
instead
of
having
a
wall
of
words
that
they
have
to
get
through
to
find
out
which
device
they
get
we
might
want
to
say
here
is
all
the
you
know.
Here's
some
devices
here
are
some
people
with
their
new
devices,
be
one
of
them.
E
A
Not
a
bad
idea,
but
it's
not
a
bad
idea
ben
I
I
think
it
would
be
pretty
easy
to
do.
I
mean
we
already
have
our
devices
catalog.
That's
not
really
well
suited
for
this
purpose,
though,
because
again,
there's
a
lot
of
information,
but
we
do
have
a
gallery.
You
know
function
in
the
hub,
we're
not
using
it.
I
don't
think
we've
really
done
put
much
in
there,
but
we
could.
A
We
could
definitely
create
a
gallery
of
you
know
people
wearing
their
devices
and
get
as
many
in
there
as
we
can
of
all
the
different
designs,
and
that
way
we
could
easily
link
people.
You
know
that
could
be
part
of
our
email
template
when
we're
when
we're
onboarding
people-
hey,
you
know,
go
check
out
this
gallery
to
see
some
of
the
different
design
options
available
and
then
here's
the
steps
you
follow
to
get
started.
You
know.
C
Right,
I
think,
there's
an
extended
issue
here
that
ben
and
I
touched
on
privately,
and
that
is
that
in
this
particular
case,
ben's
talking
about
the
the
judging
by
the
individual's
name,
I
would
I
would
judge
to
be
coming
from
somewhere
in
africa
and
we
do
get
a
lot
of
requests
into
the
desk
from
far-flung
regions
of
the
world
and
the
bottom
line.
Is
it's
not
going
to
be
successfully
handled
by
ewc?
C
C
Typically,
if
it
comes
from
in
the
case
of
africa,
if
it
comes
from
africa,
we
don't
have
any
reasonable
chapters
there.
If
somebody
else
produces
a
device,
it's
going
to
be
hundreds
of
dollars
to
ship
that
device.
There.
A
A
E
There
are
some
regional
partners,
you
know
and
that
that
goes
towards.
You
know
if
we
take
a
big
step
back.
You
know
right
now,
we're
really
focused
on
this
one
step
in
our
orientation
process,
but
we
have
talked
about
a
more
regional
approach
to
this
distribution
side
of
things.
You
know
it's
possible
to
imagine
in
the
future.
E
A
A
Of
getting
back
to
ben's
original
point,
I
I
do
like
the
idea
of
a
gallery
of
being
able
to
let
people
see
right
up
front
what
the
end
goal
is
and
what
they're
looking
at
getting
and
you
know,
get
a
sense
of
which
type
of
design
is
going
to
be
the
one
that
they
need,
and
it's
just
it's
it's
such
low
hanging
fruit,
it
would
be.
All
we
have
to
do
is
collect
the
photos
so
how.
C
Much
of
that
is
covered
by
enabling
the
future,
though,.
A
Not
much
I
mean
there's
nowhere
that
you
can
go
in
one
spot
to
see
a
gallery
of
all
the
different
designs.
I'd
like
to
see
it
well
organized
I'd
like
to
see
you
know
one
or
two
photos
per
design.
You
know,
and
we
don't
have
anything
like
that,
where
you
can
go
and
see
them
all
in
one
place.
E
A
E
A
So
I
I
love
the
idea,
I
think
the
main
challenge
here
ben
is
going
to
be
gathering
the
photos
and
I
would
love
to
have
you
help
us
with
that
since
you're
the
most
in
touch
with
people
anyway,
communications
wise?
So
if
you
could
start
the
effort
of
you
know
putting
the
call
out
there
for
anybody
that
has
photos
with
the
proper
releases.
Keep
that
in
mind.
E
We
can
even
just
work
with
those
six
chapters
that
we
have
the
chapter
spotlights
for
we've
got
case.
Photos
from
you
know,
syria,
turkey,
thailand,
I
mean,
I
think
we
have
enough.
A
E
E
Maybe
I'll
reach
out
to
somebody
like
matt
botel,
who
has
a
pretty
wide
reach
already
and
he's
got
a
new
design
that
we
want
to
feature
so
maybe
I'll
start.
A
With
it,
he'll
definitely
have
photos
for
the
kinetic
hand,
he's
got
a
lot
of
good
photos,
yeah
great,
all
right.
Moving
on
bob
any
updates
on
shipping
carrier
discussions.
A
I
did
have
a
discussion
with
maria
I
managed
to
get
her
on
the
phone.
What
I
was
thinking
was
maybe
the
goal
of
trying
you
know:
she's
got
this
account
with
a
deep
discount
from
dhl
and
we've
tried
to
figure
out.
How
can
we
get
that
into
the
hands
of
the
community?
Well,
it's
not
easy
to.
A
You
know
to
share
a
dhl
account
with
you
know,
a
global
volunteer
community,
but
I
said
well
what,
if
we
you
know
what,
if
one
possible
step
is,
maybe
you
can
at
least
give
me
access
to
that
account,
because
through
3d
universe,
I'm
shipping
kits
all
over
the
world
and
people
are
having
to
pay
normal
shipping
costs.
So
it's
costing
more
than
the
cost
of
the
kit
to
get
it
shipped
to
some
countries
and
if
we
could
leverage
her
account
at
least
to
let
our
volunteers
get
better
shipping
costs
on
unenabled
kits.
A
That
would
be
a
good
step,
and
so
she
says
that
she
is
waiting
to
hear
back
from
her
account
manager
to
see
about
making
that
happen.
So
I'm
waiting
to
hear
back
now,
so
it's
at
least
a
possible
step
in
the
right
direction.
A
I
think
she
said
before
it
was
like
75
off
or
something,
but
you
know
again,
this
is
only
you
know
this,
isn't
you
know
it's
not
it's
not
what
we're
ultimately
trying
to
get
to
where
anybody
in
the
community
could
use
this
discount
to
ship
a
hand
anywhere,
but
you
know
at
least
it's
a
stepping
stone.
If
we
can
figure
out
how
to
do
this,
and
I
can
get
kits
to
people,
you
know
more
affordably,
I
don't
know.
Maybe
I
can
figure
out
a
way
where
you
know.
A
E
Right,
it
was,
I
think
it
was.
There
was
a
recent
post
in
the
last
hour
that
one
woman
that
has
50
hands
ready
to
send
she
was
quoted
at
750
to
send
it
and
it's
descend
to
india.
So
you
know
regional
hubs.
A
Yeah,
okay,
so
this
is
let's:
let's
move
on
we're
working
on
it?
I
think
there
is
some
progress
I'll.
Let
you
know
if
I
get
a
response
back
from
maria.
If,
if
I'm
able
to
get
access
to
that
discount
account,
then
we
can
figure
out
how
to
leverage
it,
but
we'll
have
to
wait
for
that.
A
Okay,
next
one
is
for
me
to
reach
out
to
peter
binkley
and
see
about
updating
his
blender
sizing
file.
So
we
have
the
newest
designs
in
there,
so
I
did
send
him
an
email.
I'm
waiting
to
hear
back,
I'm
sure
he'll
have
no
problem.
You
know
updating
it,
but
to
do
that,
we
need
to
get
the
models
of
fully
assembled.
A
You
know
hands
with
the
thermoformed
sort
of
version
of
the
of
the
gauntlet,
slash
bracer,
and
that
brings
me
to
the
next
action
item,
which
was
to
reach
out
to
mas
v
to
see
if
we
could,
because
I
think
he
has
those
fully
assembled
models
for
his
customizer
tool-
asked
him
if
he
would
share
those
with
me
so
that
email's
been
sent
as
well.
A
I'm
waiting
to
hear
back
from
him
and
then
another
one
for
me
was
to
reach
out
to
matt
botel
to
see
if
he
can
make
the
connect
canned
into
a
terminal
device.
So
I
sent
him
an
email
as
well
asking
if
that's
something
that
he
would
work
with
us
on,
so
those
those
three
messages
have
been
sent.
I'm
waiting
to
hear
back
in
all
cases,
okay,
so
those
are
our
action
items
moving
on
on
the
next
page
of
our
notes,
by
the
way
isabella.
This
is
your
first
time
with
us.
A
Did
you
see
the
link
to
our
notes
in
the
email
I
sent
this
morning?
Okay,
so
you've
got
that
all
right.
So,
on
the
on
the
second
page
and
the
the
third
page,
you've
got
our
just.
You
know
usual
our
ongoing
statistics.
I'm
not
gonna
go
through
those,
but
it's
it's
pretty
typical
progress,
pretty
typical
activity
levels.
We've
got
all
the
usual
charts
here,
which
most
of
you,
I
think
are
familiar
with
by
now.
A
So
on
to
page
four,
with
our
actual
agenda,
we
still
don't
have
any
new
lumio
proposals
or
discussions,
but
there
was
one
update,
kyle
reeser,
shared
final
documentation,
deliverables
from
his
portable,
enable
lab
project,
which
I
was
very
happy
to
see
incredible
report.
E
I
mean
his
his
attention
to
detail
is
fantastic.
A
And
it's
incredible,
it
reminded
me
it's
something
that
I
don't
think
we
do
a
good
enough,
job
of
which
is
kind
of
closing
the
loop
on
on
lumio
projects
that
get
approved
and
making
sure
that
we
get
deliverables
that
they're
shared
with
the
community
etc.
So
you
know
great
job
kyle
for
doing
that
on
his
own,
but
I
think
for
others
that
don't
take
it
upon
themselves
to
do
that,
I
think
we
need
to
do
a
better
job
of
circling
back
around
the
people.
D
Well,
you
know,
by
the
way,
cut
their
the
final
payment
on
kyle's
project
was
contingent
on
the
documentation.
So
that's
a
good
thing
to
build
into
these
proposals
very
good.
A
E
You
know
also
just
to
throw
a
little
shout
out
in
there.
I
do
think
the
the
platform
for
getting
these
results
out
is
the
newsletter
and,
for
example,
that
link
that
kyle
added
you
know.
Maybe
a
half
dozen
people
are
going
to
see
that
until
it's
posted
in
the
newsletter,
so
you
know.
A
Having
a
section
of
the
newsletter,
that's
basically
what
we
are
trying
to
do
for
the
fundraising
site
on
enabling
the
future.
Where
we
talk
about
what
we've
done
with
our
funding,
I
think
that
would
be
great
to
have
in
each
newsletter
and
and
you
could
share
deliverables
and
just
kind
of
summarize
everything
that
we've
done
with
the
funding
since
the
last
newsletter.
E
Yeah
yeah
nate
and
I
have
talked
about
for
the
next
newsletter.
You
know
not
just
writing
sort
of
a
summary
of
the
activities
but
he's
working
on
doing
some
publications
with
some
of
the
members
in
nyap.
Really
the
newsletter
is
link
soup.
So
now
that
kyle
has
shared
this
link
great,
you
know
he's
in
the
next
newsletter.
That's
what
we
need.
You
know.
E
I
don't
want
to
share
anything
that
isn't
published
elsewhere,
really
in
the
newsletter,
so
nate's
working
on
that
and
collecting
those
things
together,
sort
of
becomes
a
report
in
and
of
itself.
F
We
also
have
the
product
catalog,
which
actually
will
be
an
updated,
live
evolving
document
that'll
have
we
got
like
70
different
items
in
the
nyop
catalog
at
this
point?
Actually
it's
more
than
that,
because
a
couple
of
those
items
are
actually
headings
for
wall
posters
that
include
all
the
wall.
Posters,
so.
A
F
Thing
is
jeremy,
it.
It
lags
because
there's
another
administrative
process
with
getting
those
those
posts
ready.
So
this
gives
us
a
chance
to
stage
that
by
gathering
all
the
information
up
in
the
product
catalog
and
then
as
a
device
matures
and
becomes
something
that
we'd
want
to
push
through
for
actual
registration,
then
we
do
that,
but
the
problem
is
with
70
devices.
Now
there's
it's
going
to
be
a
continuous
process
going
through
that,
so
I'm
trying
to
measure
the
stuff
coming
in
and
out.
F
It
is
it's
actually
all
of
our
designs.
Just
so
just
put
that
to
rest
how
it
works
operating
procedure
for
us
is
we
design
it?
F
E
You
know,
maybe
just
to
add
to
the
lumio
stuff.
I
did
talk
to
john
this
morning.
He's
gonna
be
posting.
The
we
had
talked
about
it
last
sbc
meeting
the
discussion
for
this
fellowship
program.
So
that's.
A
So
we've
had
this
ongoing
discussion
about
which,
in
my
mind,
ultimately
boils
up
to
spc
discretionary
fund
allocation,
and
I
think
the
the
proposal
that
ben
just
mentioned,
where
we're
going
to
start
a
discussion
going,
which
is
specifically
about
the
media
coordination
program,
but
I
see
that
as
a
stepping
stone
towards
our
goal
of
having
some
funding
being
allocated
on
a
discretionary
basis
by
the
spc,
so
isabel
just
quickly,
so
that
you
know
what
we're
talking
about.
We've
got
this
this
fund.
A
This
pool
called
the
enable
fund
that
all
of
our
fundraising
kind
of
funnels
into
and
it's
there
for
volunteers,
to
fund
their
projects.
They
can
propose
things
they
can
get
funding.
What
we
want
to
do
is
have
a
portion
of
that
fund
that
the
spc
can
control
to
just
take
care
of
things
that
really
don't
need
to
go
through
our
voting
process
paying
for
our
websites.
You
know
you
know
certain
projects
that
just
have
have
to
do
with
administrative
things
that
that
we
know
need
to
be
done.
A
We
feel
that
we
should
have
the
ability
to
simply
allocate
funds
based
upon
our
you
know,
group.
You
know
discussion
or
something
like
that,
but
that
has
to
be
approved
by
the
community
first,
so
we're
eventually
we're
gonna
have
to
propose
that
to
the
community
and
have
them
vote
on
that,
but
before
we
do
that,
we're
we're
proposing
this,
this
media
coordination
project
and
that'll,
it's
it's
being
put
forth
by
the
spc
and
that's
a
way
of
kind
of
leading
us
to
this
discussion
of
spc
having
some
discretionary
fund
management
authority.
A
That's
where
we're
at
so.
Yes,
we've
got
a
discussion
thread
going
out
there.
It
sounds
like
this
week
right,
john,
yes,
ben.
E
Yes,
so
john-
and
I
talked
this
morning
before
the
meeting
he's
gonna
post
it
as
a
discussion
there's
just
that
one
page.
Basically,
you
know
some
of
the
things
that
we've
already
talked
about
can
just
come
back
up
in
the
discussion,
including
you
know.
The
idea
of
having
individual
volunteers
that
are
involved,
I
mean
actually
isabelle,
is
a
wonderful
example
of
that
she'll
be
focused
on
fundraising
and
having
a
team
of
volunteers
be
involved
in
sort
of
the
larger
goal
of
coordinating
the
media.
E
You
know,
maybe
a
different
person
could
be
involved
in
chapter
spotlights
who
knows,
but
that
could
be,
I
think,
something
to
consider
moving
ahead,
having
one
person,
whether
it's
a
sort
of
a
student
fellow
or
somebody
else,
coordinating
that
effort
is,
you
know,
part
of
the
discussion.
A
Yeah,
coordinating,
I
think
is,
is
good,
but
I
I
like
you
said
I
think
it's
going
to
work
out
a
lot
better
for
us
in
the
long
term,
if
we
have
a
different
person
handling
each
of
these
areas.
Just
in
terms
of
you
know
turnover,
you
know
we
don't
want
to
have
to
rebuild
this
program
every
time
somebody
moves
on.
So
at
least
that
way
you
know
not
all
of
them
are
going
to
move
on
at
the
same
time.
E
Yeah
and
maybe
I
can
share
with
isabella
the
the
model
that
we're
looking
at.
Actually,
if
you
want
to
just
add
your
email,
I
can
send
it
to
you
because
it's
a
pdf,
but
it
sort
of
models
out
what
would
be
involved
with
you
know,
reporting
social
media.
A
John
john,
your
your
video
is
frozen
and
your
audio
is
not
really
coming
through.
I
think
we've
you
got
a
connection
issue
there.
You
might
need
to
reconnect.
If
you
can
hear
me,
john
okay,
so
we've
got.
E
John,
maybe
you
want
to
just
listen
turn
your
video
off
and
add
in
the
chat
we
do.
D
A
On
right
now,
this
connection
will
come
back
shortly
enough,
all
right
so
anyway,
we'll
get
that
discussion
thread
going
and
then
after
a
week
we'll
turn
that
into
a
proposal.
So
that's
that's
on
its
way.
Any
updates
on
the
chapter
wishbone
project
that
you
want
to
share
ben.
E
Sure,
just
in
a
nutshell,
we
met
yesterday
with
evan
and
martin.
It
does
seem
like
we're
we're
not
only
getting
things
set
up
for
the
wishbone
project,
but
there's
some
sort
of
back
end
accounting
that
I
think
is
going
to
be
really
important.
You
know,
we've
got
really
different
layers
here,
we've
got
renable,
which
is
its
own.
You
know
chapter
that's
connected
to
the
enable
fund
which
influences
you
know
the
the
community
and
then
there's
a
wishbone
which
is
sort
of
a
different
setup.
E
But
we
are,
I
think,
aligning
on
a
way
that
to
have
it
all
set
up,
we'll
have
the
wishbone
underneath
a
paypal
account,
but
we
still
can
use
one
account
for
everything
underneath
the
501c3
and
we'll
set
up
the
back
end
in
a
way.
So
it's
not
such
a
complicated
thing
to
manage
and
evan's
volunteering
is
time
to
help
with
that,
which
is
great,
so
we're
moving
along
bob
shared
with
me.
E
A
woman
sent
a
message
about
donating
a
printer,
so
we
do
continue
to
get
things
that
would
go
into
that
category.
Chapter
sharing
things
you.
A
Know
that
reminds
me:
it
keeps
it
it
gets
kind
of
pushed
down
on
our
agenda,
so
we
don't
get
to
it
usually,
but
we
have
this
outstanding
sponsorship
offer
from
creality
and
since
they
reached
out
with
that
offer,
I've
actually
brought
on
the
creality
line
of
printers
through
3d
universe.
So
there's
some
interesting
possibilities
there,
where
I
bet,
if
I
followed
up
with
them
I'll
bet
you
they
would
be
willing
to
donate.
A
Definitely
more
than
one
printer,
I
mean
I'm
guessing,
they
would
donate
a
number
of
printers
and
maybe
we
could
facilitate
getting
those
out
there.
So
I've
got
to
follow
up
with
them.
Now
that
I'm
you
know
plugged
in
with
them
and
and
have
their
products
in
our
warehouse
anyway,
I
think
there's
a
good
chance
that
they
would
be
willing
to
supply
a
number
of
printers
to
the
community
right.
E
Nate's,
making
nate's
making
a
face
you've
gotta
as
soon
as
we
get
this
set
up,
I
mean,
I
think,
that's
what's
nice
about
this
whole
project
is
that
you
know
nate
you've
been
talking
about
how
your
printer's
had
issues
for
a
long
time
being
able
to
put
that
request
in
that
would
be
a
really
easy
way
to
move
forward
with
that.
F
F
A
Those
who
don't
know
the
cr-30
is
a
belt-driven
printer
that
can
continuously
print.
You
can
print
like.
You
know,
super
long
objects
where
you
can
print
just
one
after
another
after
another
and
it'll
just
keep
rolling
off
the
off
the
belt.
So
god
I
was
thinking
man.
If
I
had
that
when
I
was
making
ppe,
you
know
for
cranking
out
face
shields,
and
things
like
that.
That
would
have
been
awesome.
F
F
To
just
add
in
there,
with
the
whole
project,
wishbone
thing
just
in
case
isabella
wasn't
familiar
with
the
concept
of
what
wishbone
was
it's
just
a
mini
grant
program,
so
people
can
put
in
for
a
little
mini
grant
to
get
smaller
like
100
supplies
or
shipping
costs.
Maybe
things
like
that?
I
just
want
to
throw
that
in
there.
A
E
Yeah
I'll
add
in
the
link,
so
this
sort
of
discusses
it
in
general,
but
we'll
be
sharing
we'll
be
sharing
more
about
that
in
the
weeks
ahead.
So
it's
it's
moving.
The
back
end
of
it
took
a
lot
longer
than
I
was
hoping,
but
I
think
we're
really
getting
into
a
good
place,
so
we'll
be
piloting
some
of
these
projects
and
I'll
be
reaching
out
to
you,
jeremy,
about
the
two
printers
that
you
had
offered
and
we'll
be
trying
a
couple
different
things
and
and
just
seeing
how
it
works.
E
A
E
Yeah
and
yeah-
and
I
think
part
of
you
know
maybe
as
a
first
step
we
could
put
in
some
seed
money.
I'd
like
to
you
know,
maybe
earmark
some
of
the
seed
money
or
all
the
seed
money
to
support
those
types
of
things,
and
I
think
we
also
need
to
come
up
with
some
very
specific
guidelines.
How
how
it
works.
I
mean
if
we
have
three
chapters
that
request
a
printer
and
one
of
them
can
come
and
pick
it
up
and
two
other
ones
are
in
india.
E
We
have
to
figure
out,
you
know
what.
How
do
we
make
these
decisions
so.
A
F
And
so
I
think,
maybe
we
look
at
like
okay,
we
need
two
thousand
dollars
to
send
four
or
five
devices
over
there
that
we
just
know
it's
two
thousand
dollars
being
thrown
away
on
shipping.
Basically,
but
it's
for
the
point
of
trying
to
get
a
couple
devices
over
there
where
they
get
a
little
a
little
visibility,
because
I
think
that
will
help
a
lot
to
expand
and
make
more
chapters
over
there,
which
would
then
expand
our
global
footprint.
E
Yeah,
you
know,
I
think,
no
matter
what
we
do
for
the
wishbone,
it
will
be
worthwhile
and
again,
this
is
sort
of
the
oversight
is
the
spc
in
some
ways,
I
think
we
want
to
just
make
sure
that
when
we
do,
if
we
do
cover
shipping
or
if
there
is
sort
of
a
couple
options
of
where
to
send
some
donated
equipment,
I
think
it
is
on
the
responsibility
of
the
sbc
to
share
some
sort
of
a
message
of
this
is
why
it's
going
in
this
direction
because
it
supports
x,
y
and
z,
so
that
could
just
be
something
for
us
to
consider
that
you
know
having
those
kind
of
little
micro
reports.
E
You
know
even
as
a
comment,
I
think,
most
of
the
time
this
is
going
to
be
one
chapter
saying:
I
need
500
to
keep
the
lights
on
in
my
shop.
It's
not
going
to
be
a
a
whole
thing
where
we
have
to
figure
out.
You
know
which
direction
does
this
go
in,
but
for
those
situations
I
think
you
know
we
do
want
to
consider
why
you
know
what
makes
the
most
sense
and
why
and
sharing
that
publicly
and
being
transparent
about
it.
I
think
people
really
appreciate
that.
A
All
right,
moving
along
we've
had
some
discussion
about
a
quote-unquote
handbag
as
a
corporate
giving
thank
you.
I
just
wanted
to
circle
back
around
to
that.
Obviously,
one
of
the
components
of
such
a
bag
would
be
a
fully
assembled
device,
and
I
think
we
talked
about
the
kinetic
hand,
being
a
really
good
option
for
that
bob.
I
think
you
finally
were
able
to
work
through
the
flex
materials
printing
side
of
it.
A
So
what
are
your?
What
are
your
thoughts
on
this?
This
handbag
thing
I
I
was
hoping
I
could
help
you
out
with
the
printing
on
the
kinetic
hands,
but
I
haven't
had
a
chance
to
deal
with
the
flex
operating
settings
on
my
end,
yet.
C
A
C
E
C
C
E
C
E
You
know,
there's
there's
two
ways
that
we
can
go
about.
This
one
is
saying
thank
you
to
those
who
just
donated,
and
the
other
is
to
remind
people
to
donate.
I
guess
the
first
one
it
does
both
of
those,
but
we
do
want
isabella's,
probably
going
to
be
our
our
key
person
to
bring
into
this
conversation,
but
we
have
had
donations
in
the
past.
I
think
this
is
a
wonderful
opportunity
for
us
to
maybe
approach
them
again
and
say
you
know
2021,
you
know
new
year,
here's
a
hand.
I
think.
C
E
So
maybe
bob
isabella
and
I
can
can
set
up
a
meeting
to
to
look
over
recent
donations.
So
look
over
the
the
handbag
model
and
she
can,
I
think,
help
to
put
the
messaging
together
for
that.
C
A
C
Well,
you
know
what
I
may
do,
because
I
print
in
black,
you
saw
my
hand
black
and
white
is
very
striking.
Then
I
made
a
gold
cover
to
the
fences.
A
E
Ahead:
okay,
second,
the
final
one
when
the
devices
or
when
the
piece
does
arrive
bob
before
you
assemble
them
and
after
you
assemble
them.
If
you
can
document
that
the
the
whole
process
of
you
know
these
these
kinetic
hands
and
before
we
send
it
out,
maybe
even
the
final
packages
before
we
send
them
out.
I
think
we
can
also
send
that
to
matt
botel.
I
think
that
would
be
a
story
that
he'd
love
to
share.
E
C
Okay,
I'll
I'll
photograph,
everything
and
then
just
send
you
the
photos.
You
can
take
care
of
that
from.
D
That
sounds
good
and
just
to
state
the
obvious.
When
we
do
this
a
bunch
of
photos
into
a
newsletter
article
and
then
sending
the
newsletter
article
sort
of
under
separate
cover
to
pass
the
donors
is
a
good
way
of
reminding
them
that
we
really
value
our
past
donors,
as
well
as
our
future
donors
and
there's
glory
to
be
had
in
becoming
a
prison
donor.
F
So
I'd
like
to
dovetail
on
that,
and
just
my
point
was
throw
two
shirts
into
the
handbag
two
different
designs.
So
they've
got
two
different
shirts.
They
could
wear
or
hand
out
or
give
away,
and
then
we
should
prompt
them
in
the
handbag
to
take
pictures
with
the
shirts
on
holding
the
hand,
maybe
even
and
then
that
goes
into
your
marketing
collage.
E
F
Maybe
it's
high,
I
don't
know,
but
well
you'd
be
surprised.
You
never
know
what
you
get
till
you
ask
right
out
there.
It
might
be
their
kids
wearing
that
the
shirts
holding
the
hand
it
almost
doesn't
matter.
We
can
just
say
this
is
from
dell
or
dora
or
whoever,
but
like
shirts,
are
a
great
way
that
able-bodied
people
will
totally
be
taking
part
in
this
whole
thing
and
want
to
throw
them
on
right
away,
because
I
want
to
get
credit
for
what
they
were
paying
for
anyways.
C
A
C
A
I
actually
agree,
I
think
nate
brings
a
good
idea.
I
think,
including
a
couple
of
shirts,
is
a
really
good
idea.
It's
a
minor
point,
but
we
ought
to
think
about
how
we
do
that.
If
you
think
about
how
many
of
these
bags
we
want
to
make,
I
know
we're
only
talking
about
like
four
right
now,
but
if
we
turn
this
into
a
program,
what
I'm
getting
at
is
right
now
the
enable
shirts
are
actually
they're
they're
coming
through
3d
universe.
A
So
we
have
this
a
hook-up
to
a
service
called
printful,
and
it's
one
of
these
print-on-demand
services,
where
they,
whenever
somebody
orders
it
they,
they
produce
the
shirts
on
demand
and
ship
them
out
and
take
care
of
that.
But
their
pricing
isn't
great.
I
mean
the
shirts
are
somewhat
expensive.
You
know
we
don't
make
anything
on
them.
It's
it's
just
they're
kind
of
pricey.
A
There
are
other
services
that
we
could
go.
We
could
just
bypass
that
and
just
go
out
to
another.
You
know
t-shirt
service
on
the
web,
there's
tons
of
them
and
buy
these
in
bulk
and
get
a
much
better
price,
but
we
have
to
kind
of
figure
out
how
many
of
these
do
we
want
to
do,
because
we
usually
don't
buy
these
shirts
up
front.
We
usually
just
order
them
when
people
order
them
and.
A
C
E
Right
and
the
sizing
stuff
I
mean,
like
nate
said
it
might
be,
you
know
milstein
giving
it
to
his
granddaughter.
Who
knows
so.
The
sizing
is
probably
less
important
than
just
making
sure
that
right.
We
have
something
in
the
packages
that
they
can
just
be
distributing,
and
you
know
again,
isabella's
internship
is
pretty
ideal
for
this
whole
thing,
so
maybe
by
the
in
the
next
couple
weeks,
you
know
it'll
be
awesome
to
get
her
feedback
on
strategic.
A
E
D
And-
and
may
I
say
I
keep
thinking
about
a
hat
that
says
making
abel
great
again.
I
just
wanted
to
say
that
you're.
A
All
right,
let's
move
on
we've
got
some
next
steps
figured
out
for
the
handbags
all
right,
so
we've
got
this
offer
of
assistance
from
logan
shoemaker
and
somebody
on
the
email
chain
said:
let's
talk
about
it
in
the
spc,
so
I
put
it
in
here.
I
I
wasn't
really
clear
on
his
skill
set.
A
E
B
E
We
can
play
some
based
on
that
because
I'm
sure
that
he's
got
some
things
that
he
can
contribute.
We've
had
people
like
evan
who
joined
the
new
member
meetup
and
then
from
there
now
he's
involved
in
learning
design
skills
from
nate's
team
he's
doing
some
finance
stuff
with
john,
and
I
he's
been
a
really
important
and
non-traditional
volunteer.
A
E
I've
been
shooting
for
mid-month
that's
coming
up,
we
did
hear
back
from
so
ricardo
and
seif
in
mexico,
city
and
stypes
in
the
u.s,
but
they've
been
working
on
sort
of
this
pilot
research
project.
We
did
get
an
email
back
from
ricardo
about
some
new
ideas
that
they
had
to
maybe
have
two
events
a
month.
One
would
be
this
informal,
less
scheduled,
chat,
sort
of
like
what
we
had
last
month,
which
is
fine.
E
If
one
person
wants
to
talk
the
whole
time,
you
know
we
just
you
know
roll
with
it
and
they
made
the
point
that
you
know.
Culturally.
There
is
a
place
for
that.
You
know
just
having
sort
of
like
you
think
about
a
potluck
style,
but
they
said
that
it'd
be
great
to
also
have
an
organized
one.
So,
instead
of
trying
to
force,
you
know
a
schedule,
you
know
we're
going
to
do
this
for
10
minutes
and
this
in
the
monthly
meeting.
E
Let's
just
break
it
out
and
have
this
informal,
everybody
share
stories,
kind
of
structure
and
then
the
week
after
say,
and
we're
going
to
have
this
very
specific
activity
that
we're
going
to
be
doing.
We
can
plug
that
activity
in
the
the
sort
of
informal
meet
and
greet.
I
thought
that
was
a
great
idea.
You
know
it's
sort
of
like
the
sandbox
style
of
you
know,
making
two
things
at
the
same
time
without
them
competing
with
each
other,
hey
ben.
F
F
That
was
google,
and
I
I
have
always
just
formed
a
special
little
like
friendship
with
leland
me
and
him
have
just
been
kind
of
buddies
since
the
beginning
and
like
I
asked
him
to
work
on
teams
and
all
this
other
stuff,
but
it
was
all
really
because
he
was
just
the
guy
that
was
there
going
hey,
nate
welcome
aboard,
and
then
he
wasn't.
I
don't
think
he'd
been
there.
Maybe
he'd
been
there
a
while,
but
that
whole
system
of
getting
somebody
from
within
to
kind
of
do
that.
F
E
Yeah-
and
I
think
what
we
found
last
month,
jeremy
and
john,
were
in
the
meeting-
was
that
it
can
be
difficult
to.
You
know,
hit
the
brakes
on
somebody's
storytelling
to
say
now
we're
doing
the
activity
we
weren't
really
able
to
do
that
even
the
hour
that
we
had
a
lot.
It
really
wasn't
enough
time,
even
just
for
the
informal
chatting,
so
I'm
gonna
meet
with
ricardo
or
email
ricardo
back
and
forth
and
make
more
of
a
formal
plan.
I'll,
probably
I'm
gonna
try
to
post
it
a
week
early.
E
E
D
You
all
right,
smart
guy,
jeremy's
point,
goes
a
a
half
step
beyond
what
you
just
said:
ben
figure
out
the
schedule
and
the
format
for
these
two
meetings
make
them
recurring
events
like
first
monday
or
third
monday
of
each
month
and
get
them
on
the
regular
calendar
so
that
people
see
them
as
fixtures
not
not
randomly
occurring
events
that
you
have
to
keep
an
eye
out
for
them.
E
A
A
All
right
moving
on
fundraising,
I
moved
this
topic
up
a
little
bit
since
we
have
the
benefit
of
having
isabella
here
today.
I
don't
know
if
we
have
anything
specific
to
talk
about,
but
I
wanted
to
open
the
floor
bob
anything
to
discuss
in
terms
of
where
we're
at
with
fundraising
and
what
we
need
to
do.
C
Just
just
a
a
weekly
reminder
of
mine
that
you
know
10
months
from
now,
we
have
a
lot
of
money
on
a
report
and
we
use
20
000
faithfully.
D
Right
well,
so
the
spc
proposal
will
be
posted
later
today,
tomorrow
at
the
latest,
and
that's
a
start.
It
is
also
time
to
put
out
some
sort
of
reminder
or
bait
to
get
people
to
think
about
proposals.
D
We
created
an
informal
poll
asking
people
to
suggest
and
prioritize
ways.
We
might
spend
the
money
and
so
that's
another
thing
we
can
do
to
prime
the
pump,
but
I
think
let's
yeah,
I
appreciate
your
reminder,
but
let's
sort
of
get
wishbone
together,
let's
get
a
sense
of
how
isabella's
pacing
is
gonna,
be
and
then
sort
of
think
about
how
inflow
and
outflow
of
funds
can
be
taken
to
the
next
level.
A
You
know,
john,
you
brought
up
an
important
point
there
that
that
you
know
we've
had
very
little
activity
in
terms
of
people
writing
up
proposals,
but
I
can't
help
but
wonder
if
part
of
that
is
just
you
know,
people
are
you
know
they
don't
want
to
get
into
having
to
write
up
a
proposal.
There's
a
lot
of
work
and
thought
that
goes
into
that.
If
you
were
to,
like
you
said,
put
a
poll
out
there
to
say
hey.
These
are
some
of
the
things
that
we
could
use,
funds
for,
and
let
people
vote
on
that.
A
D
That's
a
nice
idea.
We
have
to
remember
that
sorry,
the
the
doer
associated
with
that
proposal
needs
to
be
identified,
but
I
do
think
that
sort
of
identifying
niches
that
we
are
enthusiastic
about
helping
to
define
those
niches
and
find
the
person
to
fill
it
and
facilitating
it
by
helping
with
the
proposal
or
even
drafting
the
protocol
is
a
powerful
way.
To
I
mean
it
would
be
good.
A
D
Right
all
right,
so,
let's,
let's
just
agree
that
that
should
happen
within
a
couple
of
weeks
and
that
in
that
same
couple
of
weeks,
we
want
to
try
to
be
a
little
farther
along
in
the
wishbone
project
and
get
some
quality
time
with
isabella
to
see
how
to
sync
up
with
her
absolutely.
C
One
small
reminder
again
on
the
dora:
they
their
guidelines
are
domestic
and
they
very
clearly
up
front
stated
they
don't
really
fund
international
projects.
E
That
that's
a
great
point
in
terms
of
reporting.
I
think
one
of
the
things
we're
really
going
to
want
to
do
and
bob's
been.
You
know
saying
this
for
a
long
time
is,
you
know
we
should
have
a
list
of
all
the
the
grants
that
have
come
in.
You
know,
and
this
could
be
part
of
this
handbag
project.
You
know,
have
a
document
somewhere
that
says
okay.
This
is
these.
Are
the
open
supporters
right
now?
E
These
are
the
stipulations
for
their
support
and
coming
up
with
sort
of
tailor
reports
for
them
at
least
once
a
year
and
tell
them.
You
know
what
they
want
to
hear.
We
have
enough
activity
going
on
where
you
know
for
dora,
we
can
have
domestic
updates
and
and
for
netcetera
they're
going
to
want
international.
So
great
point,
bob.
F
Jeremy,
my
point
was
gonna,
be
if
you've
already
put
out
a
poll
and
you've
collected
the
information
to
know
what
projects
the
community
already
supports.
So
you've
already
got
that
kind
of
vote
on
it.
F
That's
all
just
proposals
so
like
any
way,
we
can
eliminate
that
from
people
would
help.
I
think,
and
help
the
efficacy
of
the
actual
grant
program
itself,
because
people
will
use
it
more
and
it'll
be
more
accessible
to
them
and
saving
people.
That
step
is
a
really
good
thing.
Actually,
especially,
I
I'm
more
established
now,
but
somebody
who's,
just
starting
like
where
kind
of
where
matt
botel
is
that
kind
of
thing?
F
If
he
was
needing
that
kind
of
stuff,
he
may
be
a
little
past
where
it
is
too,
but
just
designers
are
just
getting
started
being
established.
They
could
really
use
that
step
up
because
it's
so
much
extra
work
that
goes
on
top
of
all
the
design
and
documentation.
You're
already
doing,
I
think
that
helps.
A
We
need
to
have
it
clear
what
we're
supporting,
but
you
know
we'll
do
what
we
can
to
you
know,
make
it
easier
for
people
all
right
as
far
as
as
far
as
the
spc,
just
kind
of
going
through
the
list
and
and
approving
certain
projects
that
might
be
possible
later
on,
but
we
first
need
to
get
the
community
to
approve
that
idea
of
the
spc
having
some
of
that
discretionary
fund
management
authority.
So
if
you
get
buying
in
on
that,
then
yes,
that's
a
possibility.
F
A
Anyway,
you
know,
I
don't
know
if
anyone
has
given
isabella
any
background
here
on
the
enable
fund,
but
I
mean
this
is
basically
a
fund
where
we
all
of
our
funding
gets
directed
into
this
collective
fund
that
anyone
in
the
community
from
any
country
wherever
they're
located
they
can
write
up
a
proposal
saying
this
is
what
I'd
like
to
do.
This
is
what
it's
going
to
cost.
This
is
what
I'm
going
to
give
back
as
deliverables.
A
The
community
can
vote
on
it
and
we
have
voting
guidelines
of
what
it
takes
for
a
project
to
pass
and
those
that
pass
get
funded.
You
know
we're,
obviously
we're
it's
a
you
know
constantly.
You
know
influx,
there's
money
coming
in
and
there's
money
going
out
and
so
we're
always
trying
to
kind
of
refresh
that
fund
to
keep
it.
A
You
know,
usually
we
want
it
in
the
30
to
50k
neighborhood,
you
know,
and
so
each
year
we
have
to
kind
of
refresh
that
and
go
after
new
new
donors,
and
part
of
that
is,
you
know
letting
them
know
what
we've
been
able
to
do
with
funding
in
the
past,
and
that's
that's
stuff
that
we've
been
working
on
recently.
B
D
B
Classes
start
february
1st,
but
I
do
have
the
syllabus.
So
I
know
like
the
assignments
and
all
of
that.
D
D
For
you
to
give
us,
it
would
be
very
helpful
for
you
to
give
us
not
the
syllabus
to
break
it
down,
so
that
try
to
figure
out
what
the
underlying
structure
and
process
is.
If
it's
a
course
on
fundraising,
I
imagine
it's
going
to
start
with
information
gathering
and
then
it's
going
to
have
you
do
this
and
that
and
the
other
and
we've
never
gone
through
that
drill.
So
helping
us
anticipate
the
pace
for
the
semester
will
be
very
helpful.
A
Great
well
we're
at
the
top
of
the
hour.
I
think
it's
probably
a
good
point
to
wrap
up
for
today.
There
are
other
topics
on
the
list,
but
nothing
really
critical
or
time
sensitive.
So
does
anybody
here
have
anything
that
you'd
like
to
bring
up
before
we
wrap.
D
Well,
isabella-
and
I
have
just
agreed
to
meet
monday
at
1pm
to
sort
of
talk
about
her
involvement
in
her
program
and
so
on.
Any
a
present
company
would
be
quite
welcome
to
join
that,
but
especially,
I
think,
bob
and
or
ben
who
are
likely
to
be
partners
with
her
in
in
these
efforts.
C
Once
you
send
out
a
meeting
request,
I.
D
E
Else
looks
like
it's
like
the
godfather
whether
it's
the
the.
E
D
E
E
Right,
the
dog,
father,
there's
something
yeah,
there's
something
to
be
said
there,
I'm
going
to
add
in
a
link
to
the
chat.
I
did
finish
the
chapter
spotlight
for
istanbul.
I
heard
back
from
the
pakistan
chapter
bob
had
a
request
from
a
news
outlet
in
pakistan
and
afghanistan
that
wanted
to
cover
enable
so
we're
going
to
try
to
organize
that
together.
You
know
a
lot
going
on
actually
this
past
week
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
help
from
bob
with
the
the
help
desk.
So
thanks
for
that
bob.
C
Sure,
let
me
just
mention
so
everybody's
aware:
I'm
mentoring
at
any
given
time
six
to
ten
volunteers
around
the
world
based
on
them
coming
in,
through
the
help
desk
needing
further
information
needing
hand-holding.
C
C
I
play
in
addition
to
what
anybody
sees
officially
and
I
use
my
own
personal
email
with
it,
because
that's
just
the
most
expedient
way
once
you
get
into
discussions
that
don't
have
to
be
on
a
help
desk,
so
I'm
just
making
people
aware
of
that.
I'm
fine
with
it,
but.
C
D
E
I
think
people
do
recognize,
you
know
bob's
role
within
the
hub
every
time
somebody
comes
up
with
something
that
relates
to
not
just
a
case,
but
you
know
sometimes
general
stuff,
like
sizing
I'll
I'll
include
bob
and
he'll
hop
in
within
a
day
and
and
respond.
So
you
know
maybe
making
that
more
clear
that
you
know
we
we
do
have
through
enable
web
central.
E
F
C
In
the
afternoon
you
know,
but
I
just
want
people
to
be
aware
of
it,
that
these
things
are
occurring
and
there's
a
lot
of
newbies
coming
in
that
want
some
handholding
and
that's
great.
I
can
provide
that.
We
roll
newbies
once
right.
E
Yeah
one
last
thing
before
we
leave:
there
is
a
an
exchange
that
bob
sent
to
all
of
us
regarding
brian
in
colombia,
doing
these
stickers
for
devices
we
had
a
meeting
with
him.
I
followed
up
with
the
columbia
chapters
and
and
an
email
in
spanish,
and
I
followed
up
after
the
new
year
to
try
to
get
them
involved.
Jeremy.
Can
you
reach
out
to
jen
to
see
if
she
seems
like
she's
got
a
a
good
relationship
with
christian
silva
and
those
the
median
folks.
A
E
E
Ask
jane
if
she
can
reach
out
to
those
chapters
and
and
see
if
she
gets
a
response,
because
it
does
seem
like
a
cool
opportunity,
but
I
I
bring
it
up
because
it
can
be
hard
to
keep
up
with
these
new
projects
that
come
up.
That
was
one
that
came
up
in
early
december
and
he's
been
waiting
to
hear
back.
I'm.
A
Okay,
good,
okay,
thanks
for
joining
everyone
see
you
next
friday.
