Today’s web is fragile, inefficient and expensive - the distributed web is changing that. IPFS rearchitects the web to work peer to peer, addressing data by *what* it is instead of _where_ it’s located. Our latest release, IPFS 0.5, simplifies and accelerates building for web3, making the dweb accessible to more developers. Our latest performance improvements make IPFS 0.5 the fastest way to store, move and download files peer-to-peer.

Learn about the latest developments in the libp2p project, as well as the newest star in the interplanetary constellation: Testground.

Testground is a platform for testing, benchmarking, and simulating distributed and p2p systems at scale.

Filecoin is a decentralized protocol that aims to build a robust and efficient foundation for tomorrow's internet. We describe how the Filecoin Project solves current problems in (decentralized) storage and enables new use cases and opportunities in the next 6-12 months + over the next few years.

SourceCred is an algorithmic social system for valuing contributions, so that decentralized projects can pay their contributors. Since last June, we've been dogfooding the system and paying all SourceCred contributors according to their cred. This talk will share how the system works, and the results from our "CredSperiment".
