just

collecting

the

notaries

the
last
few
weeks.

to
do
is
keep
that
momentum
going

figure
out
what's
important
to
you,
and

that
way
we
could
focus

this
project
scale

be
effective
as
possible.

network.

looking
to
do
five
full
copies.
This
is
all
in
that
proposal

way

our
our
customer
who
wishes
to
remain
confidential
is
a
world-class
scientific
organization
and
the
data
sets
are
really
exciting:
outputs
of
scientific
experiments
and
what
what
this
is
is.

that
and
they
have
it's
going
to
be
exabytes
per
year
in
in
the
near
future,
and
you
know
with
cryptocurrency
and
everything
I
know
it's,
it's
not
on
our
side
of
the
table,
but
you
know
if
you
just
read
headlines:
it's
it's
it's
a
scary
space,
and
so
the
customer
feels
that
they
want
to.
You
know
they
want
to
see
success
in
this
in
the
shorter
project
before
they
announce
it,
even
within
their
own
organization.

smaller

the
world,
and
we
certainly
have
that
on
the
timeline,
so
this
will
not
be
private
forever.

in
the
near

think
that's
very
important.
As
far
as
the
data
set
like
I
mentioned,
it's
outputs
of
scientific
experiments.
These
are
ones
that
produce
enormous
amounts
of
data.

know
it's
like
when
you
make
one
of
something:
it's
a
very
exciting
type
of
engineering
and
the
last
five
years
before
cll
was
at
berkeley
lab,
which
is
a
highly
collaborative
place,
and
I
was
in
the
intellectual
property
office
for
a
good
amount
of
that
time
and
when
you
work
in
the
intellectual
property
office,
you
meet
everybody,
and
so
I
met
everybody
and
I'm
leveraging
those
relationships
right
now
to
find
these
large
data
sets.
So
that's
an
important
component
to
how
seal
is
able
to
come
across
these
things.

the
confidential
customer.
We
are
committed
to
transparency.
We
understand
that
this
causes
some
challenges.
We
have
executed
ndas
with
some
notaries
and
storage
providers
and
pulled
the
curtain
back,
and
so
they
know
all
the
customer
information,
including
follow
clone
foundation,
and
then
we
also
understand
that
we're
asking
for
you
know
you
know
some
you
know
to
I
don't
know,
but
bypass
or
or
kind
of
get
approval
to
go
around.

Some
guidelines
to
get
this
customer
on
board
because
of
the
impact
that
it
can
have
on
the
community.
I
won't
go
through
all
this
we're
kind
of
getting
low
on
time
here,
but
this
is
all
in
this.
This
governance
proposal
that
was
submitted

weekend.
So
all
these
details
are
there,
including
the
specific
people
and
data
storage
plan,
that
we
plan
to
execute
and
I'll
I'll.
Just
point
out
real
quick
that
this
in
this
last
bullet.

the

hand

safely
can
use
this
as
a
storage
technology
and
that
this
program
makes
the
network
more
productive,
and
for
that
for
that
I
think
for
us.
That
means
a
couple
of
things.
That
means
like
shepherding,
demand
and
shepherding
clients
onto

network.
It
means
improving,
like
the
overall
onboarding
experience
for
data
and
ensuring
that
large
scale
data
can
be
onboarded
and
then
third.

In
approaching
like
what
is
deemed
like
generic
falcon
plus
worthy
data
versus
not
right,
like
we
spent
our
last
year
being
a
lot
more
focused
on
open
data,
because
that
was
easier.
That
was
lower
risk.
People
could
check
against
that
and
we
still
find
ourselves
in
a
position
where
that
just
serves
such
a
small
amount
of
the
demand
that's
coming
in,
and
so
as
we
continue
to
make
headway
on
like
the
fraud,
monitoring
and
auditing
side
of
things,
with
a
lot
of
new
tools
coming
as
well
as
people
just
getting
more
comfortable.

Talking
about
this
stuff
in
public
sharing
disputes
sharing,
you
know
openly
on
github
and
slack
on
governance,
calls
things
that
they've
identified,
that
they
think
are
bad
or
not
good
and
figuring
out
how
to
deal
with
them.
I
think
this
is
like
us
also
pushing
our
envelope
in
terms
of
identifying
like
what
we
need
to
do
to
our
processes.
To
support
like
every
kind
of
good
client
like
falcon
plus,
is
not
just
about
a
specific
type
of
client.

It
was
scoped
to
be
really
good
for
a
type
of
client,
because
that's
what
we
felt
we
could
safely
support,
but
as
we
sort
of
grow
and
scope
and
support
more
types
of
clients
and
the
falcon
network
itself
becomes
more
useful
for
a
larger
set
of
people
in
the
world.
Falcon
plus
needs
to
adapt
to
that,
and
so
for
me,
like
one,
like
you
know,
the
seo
team,
like
thanks
for
for
pushing
this
stuff,
like
the
work
that
you're
doing,
is
obviously
very
good
for
the
network.

That's
a
lot
of
data
that
you're
bringing
on
it's
very
promising.
Of
course,
you're
doing
it
in
a
way,
that's
a
little
bit
more
difficult
to
navigate
because
there's
a
little
bit
less
transparency
around
it,
but
I
think
you've
earned
that
trust
with
at
least
a
subset
of
notary.
So
as
a
reminder,
we're
elected
through
a
distributed
decentralized
election
process
and
have
been
notaries
for
several
other
clients
and
have
served
the
network
very
well.
Over
the
last
year
that
they've
been
elected
and
then
two
for
the
falcon
plus
community.

I
think
this
is
again
a
good
opportunity
to
reset
some
perspectives.
Expectations
learn
a
little
bit
more
about,
what's
needed
for
this
program,
to
set
the
overall
network
up
for
success
in
the
future
and
unlock
many
more
possibilities
as
we
move
forward,
and
so
my
personal
approach
is.
Obviously
this
is
a
difficult
case.
It
might
be
an
edge
case.
It
may
not,
but
it
and
so
like
over
indexing
on
one
particular
path,
might
be
not
a
good
move
yet
where
we
like
have
to
adjust
overall
operating
guidelines
and
principles
because
of
this.

Okay,
just
pulling
up
the
issue
itself,
I
see
two
main
descending
things.
The
first
one
is
that
the
data
itself
is
not
like
publicly
accessible
or,
and
the
client
is
not
like
open
to
the
world,
and
so,
if
falcon
plus,
is
previously
targeted
towards
just
open
data
sets,
then
why
should
we
be
okay
with
this?
I
think
my
personal
opinion
is
that
obviously,
we've
supported
private
and
anonymous
clients
before
through
the
direct
notary
application
process.

It
just
so
happens
at
this
time,
we're
doing
it
at
a
much
larger
scale
and
the
ldn
process
just
makes
a
lot
more
sense.
I
don't
actually
think
that
that's
out
of
scope-
and
I
think
that
this
is
just
part
of
like
adjusting
what
we
view
to
be
the
majority
use
case
or
adjusting
what
we
view
to
be
the
generic
use
case.

But
there's
also
a
second
point
at
the
bottom
here
from
tom,
which
is
a
lot
of
enterprises
and
organizations,
don't
necessarily
need
to
use
falcon
bus,
they
could
just
go
ahead
and
use
it
and
sort
of
the
data
without
data
cap
to
the
ceo
folks.
I
personally
still
have
a
vested
interest
in
wanting
to
have
this
go
through
as
verified
deals,
because
I
think,
like
I
said
it's
important
for
the
falcon
plus
program
itself
to
evolve
and
grow
and
support
these
things
like
over
time.

Data
cap
itself
will
get
commoditized,
and
so
this
will
be
more
about
hey.
We
got
some
form
of
kyc.
We
got
some
form
of
like
social
trust
that
like
yes,
this
is
a
good
project.
We
know
who
it
is.
We
understand
a
little
bit
more
about
the
use
cases
of
falcoid.
It's
a
different
kind
of
value
effectively
that
we'd
still
be
adding
back
into
the
network
as
a
community,
but
yeah.
If
you
have
any
thoughts
on
either
of
those,
I
would
love
to
hear
your
response
to
them.

can't
see
them,
but
in
terms
of
this,
the
second
question
that
was
there.
Oh
sorry,
the
second
question
that
was
there
with
regards
to
why
you
know
this
wouldn't
go
through
data
cap.
I
do
think
this
is
a
type
of
project
that
really
does
encapsulate
what
the
file
glen
plus
program
is
set
up
to
do
not
just
from
a
you
know,
expanding
the
network
perspective,
but
the
type
of
data
that's
going
to
go
on
there,
which
will
eventually
be
available
to
the
to
the
public.

As
greg
was
saying,
it
is
really
following
the
ethos
of
the
file
coin
ecosystem,
and
I
also
think
that
a
lot
of
different
projects
or
companies,
particularly
that
aren't
in
the
web
through
space,
don't
really
understand
how
to
navigate
filecoin
ecosystem.
They
don't
understand
the
notary
system
as
well
as
as
greg
highlighted
in
the
first
slide
of
our
presentation
there.
Some
people
can
be
either
wary
or
scared
of
crypto,
particularly
when
they
come
from
slow,
moving
and
highly
regulated
entities.

So
it
can
be
more
difficult
for
them
to
participate
in
filecoin
without
going
through
somebody
like
a
storage
provider
or
or
somebody
kind
of
walking
them
through
the
the
process.
That
really
does
help
with
the
the
filecoin
plus
program
there.
I'm
not
sure
if
anyone
has
any
questions
on
those
too
or
additional
questions,
but
absolutely
happy
to
address
them
here.

was
just
looking
through
some
of
the
data
that
gary
and
gillian
were
compiling
on
the
amount
of
data
cap
going
out
to
notaries,
and
I
realized
that,
with
the
amount
of
notaries
getting
elected
this
time,
we
have
a
ton
of
data
cap
coming
in
and
it's
like
insanely
more
compared
to
the
usual
past
election
cycles
for
context.
The
first
time
we
did
another
elections,
we
had
about
two
baby
bites
to
date,
a
cap
god
plus
or
minus
ten
percent.

Obviously,
we
can't
recommend
a
change
to
rubric
at
this
point,
because
it's
past
the
election
point-
and
I
I
do
think,
there's
one
big
takeaway
here,
which
is,
we
probably
need
to
adjust
that
criteria,
because
I
think
it
has
a
bit
of
an
adverse
selection
logic
where
somebody
who's
been
in
the
in
their
community
even
infrequently
for
four
years
would
be
recorded.
So
it
would
be
rewarded
versus
somebody
who's,
a
very
active
participant
and
has
only
been
around
for
the
last
six
months.

I'm
not
sure
we
necessarily
value
the
first
one
over
the
second
if
they
meet
all
the
other
criteria,
and
so
we
do
need
to
adjust
that
overall,
but
in
the
interim
or
in
the
short
term,
for
directly
influencing
this
election
cycles,
I
want
to
propose
capping
the
individual
notary
allocation
to
one
pebby
byte.
We
have
several
that
are
getting
10,
pepe,
bytes
and
the
chart.
If
you
pull
up
the
issue,
carry
the
chart
like
just
that
table.
It
just
looks
like
incredibly
imbalanced
when
you
let
somebody
go,
get
10
pepe
bites.

You
can
see
that,
like
eighty-seven
percent
of
all
the
data
cap,
this
is
the
one
you
scroll
past
carry
the
one
on
top.
Eighty-Seven
percent
of
the
data
cap
would
have
been
allocated
like
two
regions,
which
is
