From YouTube: GitLab 14.2 Kickoff - Monitor:Monitor
A
A
Right
here,
over
the
under
the
monitor
heading,
we
have
alerts,
incidents,
on-call
schedules
and
escalation
policies.
These
are
all
fairly
large
new
features
that
we've
been
working
on,
and
so
our
plan
in
fortune
two
is
take
a
break
from
new
feature
development
and
finish
up.
Some
technical
debt
fix
bugs
and
do
some
general
cleanup
and
refinement
of
instant
management
tools,
so
we'll
also
be
working
on
a
handful
of
small
add-on
features
which
have
been
requested
by
the
community
and
by
internal
users
to
help
teams
begin
integrating
with
our
incident
management
products.
A
So
this
includes
the
ability
to
set
and
update
severity
more
easily
on
instant
issues,
and
we
also
are
going
to
be
adding
an
api
call
to
retrieve
the
current
user
on
call.
A
So,
in
addition
to
that,
we
have
quite
a
few
ui
improvements
to
make
in
the
areas
of
instance
and
alerts
on
call
schedule
and
a
handful
of
follow-up
feature
work
to
do
on
escalation
policies.
So
we're
looking
forward
to
getting
the
foundation
of
instant
management
tools,
cleaned
up,
stabilized
and
ready
to
start
implementing
more
new
features.
Beginning
again
in
14.3.
A
You
can
check
out
this
planning
issue
if
you'd
like
more
information
about
any
of
the
work,
the
monitor
team
is
doing
in
14-2
and
we
also
have
a
team
announcement
to
make.
So
the
monitor
team
has
hired
a
new
full-time
product
manager,
who'll
be
taking
over
this
role
in
the
next
few
weeks.
So
welcome
to
the
team
awana.
