From YouTube: Support Ops - Zendesk - Editing Automations
Description
Jason Colyer, Support Operations Manager, takes us through editing an Zendesk automation using the UI.
A
So
let's
share
the
screen
and
get
started
so
once
again
over
here
in
the
sandbox
you
can
tell
by
the
weird
url,
but
to
start
we'll
click
the
admin
panel
by
clicking
the
little
gear
icon
and
we'll
scroll
down
to
business
rules,
as
I
was
on
automations
last.
That's
where
it
turned
that's
where
it
started,
but
in
case
you
need
it
scrolling
business
rules,
quick
automations
from
here.
We
want
to
find
the
automation
we
want
to
edit,
in
this
case
we're
going
to
edit
the
notifications,
json
ticket
open
longer
than
72
hours.
A
A
But
in
this
particular
case,
what
we're
going
to
do
is
just
edit
this
data,
a
new
criteria,
and
that
is
that
the
form
is
you
know
something
that
we
want.
So
what
we're
going
to
do
is
form
is
and
we'll
go
ahead
and
say,
support
ops
and
then
once
we've
got
that
done.
We
just
go
down
here
to
the
drop
down,
make
sure
it
says,
update,
because
we
don't
want
to
deactivate
or
delete
it.
We
want
to
update
it
and
then
click
the
black
submit
button.
A
With
that
in
place,
it's
updated.
You
get
a
nice
little
notification
open
the
top
right
telling
you
it's
been
updated,
and
if
we
go
back
to
it,
you
can
see
that
yep,
it's
still
there
to
get
form
is
support.
Ops,
if
you
needed
to
remove
criteria,
just
click
the
minus
button
and
once
again
click
to
update.
That's
all
there
is
to
updating
or
editing
an
automation
in
zendesk's
ui,
look
forward
to
seeing
you
for
the
next
next
video.
