Description
Jason Colyer, Support Operations Manager, takes us through how to edit Zendesk triggers via the UI
A
Greetings
all
my
name
is
jason
collier
support
operations
manager
here
at
gitlab,
and
today
we're
going
to
go
over
editing
a
trigger
in
this
desk
ui.
So
let's
share
my
screen
and
get
started
so
to
get
started.
You'll
need
to
get
into
the
admin
panel.
That's
by
clicking
this
to
your
icon
and
you'll
need
to
go
to
zendesk
triggers
they're
under
business
rules
which,
just
about
at
the
bottom
of
the
page
and
then
locate
the
from
from
here,
you're
going
to
locate
the
trigger
you
want
to
edit.
A
A
This
will
bring
up
the
trigger
editor
screen,
which
looks
a
lot
like
the
new
trigger
screen
it
pretty
much
is
the
exact
same
thing,
with
a
few
little
distinct
options
such
as
it
has
revision
history.
It
has
a
couple
extra
options
here
I
can
manage,
but
yeah
from
here
we
can
decide
what
changes
we
want
to
do.
A
If
it's
something
like
renaming
it,
adding
something
adding
changing
the
description,
maybe
changing
stage
changing
conditions
and
actions
either
way,
you're
going
to
kind
of
put
it
in
and
once
you're
done,
you'll
come
down
here
to
the
blue,
save
button
and
click
save
you'll,
get
your
notification
that
has
been
updated
and
yeah.
That's
all.
There
is
to
editing
a
trigger
in
the
zip
desk,
ui
like
like
with
creation.
It
takes
a
little.
You
know,
learning
to
learn
how
to
use
the
correct
conditions
and
naming
and
description
and
so
on
and
so
forth.
