This series of online events throughout 2021 to raise awareness of the benefits of peering and encourage the development of Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) in the region. The Virtual Peering Series – Central Asia introduces the benefits of IXPs, bring together network operators, content providers, and DNS operators who are interested in improving the Internet in their countries and localities, and develop plans for establishing and/or operating an IXP. It will also discuss IXP best practices, including technical solutions as well as hosting, financing, and staff resourcing, with the aim of developing suitable approaches for local circumstances.

started
working
remotely.

operators
couldn't
manage
the
workload,
and
at
this
point
the
majority
of
traffic
around
the
world
was
going
through.

We

period
of
time,
has
set
up
a
new
infrastructure
and
we
help
the
industry
overcome
those
difficult
times.

best
route
for
all
of
those
prefixes

satellite

and
the
blue
network
gets
those
routes
and
sends
them
back
through
the
green
network
and
all
the
way
across
to
where
the
satellite
location
instead
of

shorter
distance
across
the
internet.

a
reason
why
you
should
think
very
carefully
about
your
network
architecture
and
what
you're
trying
to
accomplish
when
you
join
an
internet
exchange,
because
internet
exchanges
can
reduce
latency
or
not.

need

careful
