First,
we
realized
that
the
cardano
ecosystem
was
in
need
of
a
synthetic
assets.
Protocol
a
robust
cardano,
defy
ecosystem
would
require
a
scalable
pluto
smart
contract
synthetics
protocol
to
efficiently
and
securely
mirror
world
assets
on
chain.
Indigo
will
refer
to
these
assets
as
I
assets
now
owning
I
assets
does
not
represent
an
underlying
ownership
of
the
real
world
or
digital
asset
itself,
merely
the
synthetic
version.

is
important
to
remember
next

in
may
of
2021
we
saw
an
opportunity
to
be
the
first
team
to
begin
a
development
sprint
in
creating
such
a
protocol.
Our
team
currently
consists
of
seven
haskell
developers,
all

which
are

top
20
of
pluto's
contributors
on
github
one
web
developer.
One
marketing
lead
myself
and
two
tech
consultants
with
over
a
decade
of
entrepreneurial
experience.

was
a
mission
critical
step
for
our
team
in
building
a
safe,
secure
and
robust
dap
that
we
had
full
confidence
in
now.
Thanks
to
the
catalyst
voting
process,
the
community
supported
our
mission
and
has
made
us
fortunate
enough
to
receive
funding
on
our
project.
Our
proposal
was
funded
for
sixty
thousand
dollars,
though
our
actual
audit
costs
exceeded
this.
We're
very
grateful
for
catalyst
help
we
contract
with
twig
as
one
of
the
few
firms
qualified
for
such
work
at
this
time,
as
plutus,
as
you
know,
is
still
so
new
next
slide.

we
learned
a
lot
from
our
collaboration
with
twig,
as
our
teams
work
to
identify
bugs
and
vulnerabilities
along
with
resolution
of
any
issues
that
were
exposed
now
below
or
on
the
screen.

resolved
issues

organized
by
level
of
importance.
While
we
are
in
our
auditing
phase,
our
code
was
completely
frozen
to
ensure
that
no
change
is
being
made
during
the
inspection
post
audit.
All
code
errors
were
quickly
resolved
by
our
internal
team,
completing
our
required
kpis
next
time.

audit
behind
us,
indigo
is
on
track
to
launch
mainnet
v1
in
the
near
future.
Our
web
application
is
close
to
a
fully
functioning
state
which
can
be
viewed
on
our
social
media
outlets
in
various
demo.

would
like
to
also
bring
attention
to
our
current
proposal
and
open
source
multi-decks
sdk
and
fund

boosting
cardano's
defy
that
will
help
developers
integrate
with

preferred
decentralized

my

the

budget
of
five
dollars
traveled
through
the
project
catalyst
process
reached
out
to
other
proposals,
revised
itself
based
on
feedback
before
turning
into
a
community
service.

I
submitted
a
proposal
and
committed
the
draft
text
to
a
github
repository.
Subsequently,
I
recorded
every
change
to
the
draft
proposal
as
a
github
commit
which,
in
the
end
tracked
20
to
30
major
changes
and
216
commits
in
total.
Why
did
I
do
this?
As
I
explained,
to
phil
coo
at
the
time
I'm
treating
the
whole
process
like
a
development
and
a
qa
running
in
parallel,
I'm
hoping
to
capture
valuable
data
for
assessors
as
well
as
proposers.
I
I
did
a
text
search
of
the
phrase
open
source
on
all
fun,
five
catalyst
proposals
and
wherever
I
found
mention
of
open
source,
I
posted
a
comment
that
asks
how
open
is
your
organization
is
open
source?
How
accessible
could
users
issue
call
requests
or
raise
issues
and
how
transparent
could
users
access
and
propose
changes
to
documentation

responses

proposal

catalyst,

could
do
it
rapidly

using
the
best
examples

I've
read

a

a
great
way

really
think
deeply
about
the
proposals,
because
when
you
have
to
not
only
give
a
rating
but

articulate
exactly

you're
giving

words
forced

think
critically

ask

lot
more
questions
and
challenge
myself
to
really
make
sure.

the

learning

broader
cardano
ecosystem,
picking
a
challenge
reading
through
all

the
proposals
in
that

trying

assessments

really
gave
me
a
great
overview
of
a
whole
slice
of
activity
in
the
ecosystem.
