Description
Jenkins platform special interest group meeting Sep 26, 2019. Topics include Hacktoberfest and Windows Installer.
A
A
Open
action
items
review
the
ever
say:
Chinon
docker,
Multi
arch
Alex,
isn't
available
today,
I'll
give
a
brief
status,
update
on
Windows
installer
status
and
progress,
we're
making
there
and
then
I'll
talk
briefly
about
hack,
Tober,
fest
and
we'll
defer.
The
configuration
is
code
discussion
to
another
time.
A
So
in
terms
of
our
open
action
items,
I
still
have
the
open
action
item
to
open
a
Jenkins
enhancement
proposal
for
docker
operating
system
support.
Likewise,
Oleg
has
the
open
action
item
for
Windows
support.
Both
of
those
are
low
risk
right
now,
because
the
Jenkins
enhancement
proposal
process
still
needs
some
additional
people
to
provide
review.
There
is
progress
on
Windows
installer
code
signing
that
alex
has
been
making
with
only
the
event
mean
there
is
and
we'll
talk
further
about
it
as
we
get
into
that
topic
later
on.
A
The
windows
installer
status
alex
has
made
good
progress
there,
but
is
pending
right
now,
code
signing
certificate
and
we've
got
a
code
signing
certificate
question.
In
with
the
continuous
delivery
foundation
in
getting
a
code
signing
certificate
issued.
There
are
some
discussions
there
about
which
entity
should
have
hold
the
lead,
retain
the
legal
control
of
the
code,
signing
certificate,
etc
in
the
short
term.
A
That
will
continue
that
progress
of
the
new
personal
certificate
that
I'll
acquire
and
will
then
use
that
until
we
have
the
correct
certificate
from
CDF
last
topic
was
Hecht
/,
fest
and
platform
topics
we
have
newbie
friendly,
bugs
that
are
been
being
marked.
Oktoberfest
is
a
an
event
that
has
has
now
started
and
encourages
new
contributions
to
open
source
projects.
We
will
launch
it
next
week
with
two
webinars
one
during
the
Asia
and
early-morning
Europe
time
another
during
be
Americas
and
later
evening,
European
time.
