question

about
invoices
and
different
things,
so
I
kind
of
wanted
to
spend
some
time
just
sharing
experiences
with
invoicing
and
different
things
that
that's
one
of
the
things
I
wanted
to
do.
I
wanted
to
report
back
that
was
it.
Last
month
we
actually
signed
off
on
an
acquisition
bug
and
it
has
been
pushed
to
master,
and
since
it
was
my
name
that
it
got
signed
under,
I
got
all
the
notifications
so
yay
us
we
pushed.
We
got
something
through
the
system.

We
will
talk,
talk
about
invoicing
and
things
like
that,
so
there's
kind
of
two
experiences
that
people
can
have
with
with
invoicing.
If
you
don't
have
edi,
then
a
lot
of
it
is
manual
and
you,
you
know,
have
a
lot
of
control
over
it.
You
know
you
actually
receive
things
and
you
know
pardon
me,
based
on
on
what
you're
actually
receiving
in
the
boxes
and
things
like
that.
The
other
way
is,
if
you're
edi
they
get
electronically
received.

you
don't
really
know
that
that
that
is
happening.
So
I'm
just
going
to
start
with
these
questions
that
kristy
had
and
if
you
want
to
jump
in
and
share
your
thoughts
or
whatever.
That's
great
so
credits
this
is.
This
is
something
that
both
yeah
credits
are
not
accounted
for
in
cohort
through
edi
invoicing.

if
oh,
the

credits
don't
get
credited
to
to
your
funds
in
if
you're
using
edi
invoicing,
that's
a
man,
you
have
to
go
in
and
manually
process
those
later
and
the
other
thing
related
to
that
is
cancellations,
don't
get
processed
automatically
with
edi
invoicing.
So
you've
got
to
take
those
you
know
emails
or
whatever
that
you
get
from
the
vendor.
That
say:
oh
we're
not
going
to
ship
you
this
we're

ship

this.

for
whatever
reasons
the
publisher
canceled
it
or
you
know
whatever,
and
so
then
you
need
to
go
back
in
and
change
those
you
know
delete
them
from
your
orders,
delete
them
from
you
know.
For
us
we
have
on
order
records
that
show
up
in
the
catalog,
I'm
sure
most
of
you
do
and
and
so
we
have
to
go
back
in
there
and
we
had
what
one
time
I
think
we
had
holds
on
something
that
got
cancelled
like
that.

all,
you
know

This
is
kind
of
a
question
for
just
the
people
that
are
using
edi,
but
has
anybody
figured
out
a
smooth
way
of
dealing
with
this?

reports?

kind

special
process,

do
you
just
kind
of
get
the
cancellate
or
the
credits,
the
credit
memos
or
whatever
they're
called,
and
go
in
and
update
your
system
manually.

it's
challenging
to
match
up
pricing
of
received
items
according
to
the
pricing
that
was
quoted
when
ordering
since
everything's
automatic

easier
to
track
over
charges
or
incorrect

invoices
manually
and
receiving
items
manually.
So
this
is
where
I
put
holly
on
the
spot.

had
this
issue.

been
having
audio
issues

invoices

the
ones
that

sent
us
email-wise
weren't

same
like
they
didn't
match

matching

found

couple
of
problems.

we
were
one
of
the
first
libraries
to
use
edi,
so
we
were
helping
out
debugging
it
quite
a
bit,
so
we
ended
up
having
bywater
send
that
write
a
report
for
us
that
showed
all
and
holly.
You
can
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
but
it
showed
each
invoice
that
came
in
you
know:
we'd
run
it
for
a
certain
day
or
a
couple
days,
and
then
you
could.
It
would
see
each
invoice
and
what
coha
thought
the
total
was,
and
then
it
was
much
easier
just
to
compare
those.

usually
just
search
it
by
the
term
invoice
but
it'll
bring
up
a
little
calendar,
wheely
dealy
and
then
your
vendor
spot,
and
so
I
just
match
the
date
to
the
invoice
and
the
vendor
with
ingram,
for
I
think
we
have
five
accounts
that
it'll
match
to.
So
I
just
match
the
invoices
to
the
day
make
sure
everything's
there,
our
standing
order
stuff
doesn't
come
through
edi,
so
those
I
have
to
manually
enter.
But
it's
it's
worked
out
really
well
for
us.

was
gonna
mention
earlier
when
michelle
was
talking
about
cleaning
up
the
the
cancelled
orders.
We
do
that
manually
too,
when
ingram
says
the
title
status
reports
and
midwest
tape.
I
just
go
to
their
website
and
do
the
cancelled
report
and
we
just
go
in
manually
and
clean
up
the
records
and
it
doesn't
take
very
long
yeah
for
the
most
that's
good.

back

If

don't
know,

any

are
charge
tax,
but
it's
causing
problems
in
our
api
streams.

instance,
midwest
will
charge
tax
only
on
the
processing,
but
not
on
the
cataloging.

just
one
invoice

be
in

voice
that
has

significant

a
hundred

dollars
and

be

then

have
to
match
it
up
with
the
city
and
so

forth.

just
looking

manual

vice

to

invoicing

fiscal
year

we're
kind

doing
it
hybrid.

our
processing
fees
are
coming

edi

our
taxes
are
not
and
that
when
we
get
the
box,
I
get
the
paper
invoice
and
I
just
search
the
invoice
number
in
quahog
find
it
make
sure
all
the
prices
match
each
book
and
then
add
in
that

dollar
tax,

an
adjustment.

manually

we
weren't
sure

matching

charge

are

tax
on
items
and
cnp
with
one
vendor

plus
processing,
not
cataloging
with
another
vendor.

for

special
script

the

the

charged
and
then

cataloging

kind
of
sounds
like
your
cataloger
is
kind
of
jumping
the
gun
before
the
books
are
in
the
building
to
start
doing
some
cataloging.

go
with
the
first
batch
of
record.

called
the
basic
level
record
and
she
tried
to
it's
in
our
system
already.

the
book
is

you
have
to
wait
for
a
long
time.

month
and
then
later

right
before
the
book
arrived,

book
arrived
already
arrived
and
that's
another
record.

then,
for
whatever
reason,
the
the
final
record
and
always
has
is
final
records,
always
have
issue.
The
only
way
to
find
is
when
I
scan
book
in
the
system.

don't
find
the
book.
