01:55:16 Leanne Cooper: I am seeing more and more 856 with IMDB links in movie records---is this becoming more standard and use of linked data?
01:56:33 Leanne Cooper: ok sounds good---in general is IMDB considered to be high quality resource...
01:57:37 Christie B: I am in acquisitions. I usually import full MARCS to overlay "on order" records. Does anyone know of a way to overlay only "on order" records when importing a batch of full MARCS? We are having an issue when I import a batch, it overlays ALL records, not just "on order" records.
01:57:58 Bruce Metcalf: Maybe 877 instead of 856?
01:58:37 Leanne Cooper: ohhh good to know--I am at a state institution so I should find out about that...thank you
01:59:15 Lauren Denny: Would using the $u in the note fields for table of contents, book reviews or IMDB link be a better option than the 856?
02:01:25 Heather Hernandez (she/her): Lauren: IMO, it depends on how you have your Koha public display set up--where is the table of contents field displayed (on the screen? behind a tab?) & how prominent are the links in those 505 fields, vs. the 856 fields.
