A
All
right,
everyone
welcome
to
today's
edition
of
kubernetes
contributors
summit
extravaganza
planning,
service,
wonderfulness
amazingness.
All
of
us
are
on
the
line,
with
the
exception
of
a
few,
and
today
we're
gonna
do
our
usual
show,
which
is
some
stand-ups
and
project
ORD,
and
talk
about
the
future.
So
first
things.
First,
let's
go
through
some
quick
stand-ups
again
try
to
focus
on
blockers
and
challenges,
we'll
go
through
a
lot
of
the
day-to-day
stuff
when
we
cover
project
forward
so
Bob
your
first
one
up
nice
to
see
you
back
again
thanks.
B
Don't
have
any
blockers
registration
at
the
moment.
There
are
some
questions
that
if
people
when
I
take
a
look
at
I
would
appreciate
feedback,
we
want
to
send
these
off
to
you
Deb,
so
we
can
get
big
thing
up
and
a
test
registration
thing
up
and
going
I'll
paste
the
link
there
and
we
can
have
discussion
of
dates
and
stuff
like
that.
To
you
later.
A
Awesome
and
then
alright
and
then
marketing
we've
got
marketing
out.
Is
there
anyone
from
marketing
that's
on
the
line
right
now?
That
has
anything
to
add
in
any
way
any
of
the
shadows
or
any
folks
working
on
marketing
initiatives,
all
right,
no
worries
and
then
Deb.
Do
you
want
to
talk
about
update
your
updates.
C
The
first
one
is
the
PowerPoint
one,
for
the
event
is
available
on
github
I
figured
out
how
to
make
an
issue
and
move
it
through
the
process.
So
if
you
need
it,
it's
linked
in
there
second
thing
is:
sched
has
been
created.
Bob
I
gave
you
access
if
anyone
else
needs
access.
Please
just
hit
me
up
on
FLAC
and
I
will
happily
add
you
in
there.
C
A
D
A
In
the
past
it's
been
post-it
notes
and
whatever,
like
poster,
we
can
get
to
use
the
back
of
it
or
or
like
wall
space
or
something
along
those
lines.
So
it's
like
a
couple.
Bucks
dollar
store,
usually
but
TV,
just
I'm
sane
TVD,
just
in
case
marki,
determines
that
like
we
might
want
something
else
or
or
something
along
those
lines,
so
we'll
have
by
next
Monday
more
a
more
firm
response
with
that
correct.
E
C
A
C
Perfect
and
then
other
things
just
to
share
what
I'm
working
on
something
that
I've
noticed
that
y'all
are
really
good
about,
is
having
processed
Docs
and
information
that
you
can
pass
on
from
event
to
event
so
I'm
going
to
try
to
help
do
that
from
our
side
as
well,
so,
starting
with
a
website,
build
dot
for
Jonas
in
the
marketing
team,
so
we
can
kind
of
collaborate
and
build
a
standard
Docs
that
we
fill
out
every
time.
We
need
to
launch
a
website
to
ensure
everything's
there.
C
C
A
C
Perfect
and
then,
as
I
get
more
information
about
China
and
North
America
next
year,
I'll
give
you
kind
of
a
timeline
for
those
two.
Obviously
we
have
more
time
on
that,
but
that's
a
heads
up,
yeah
and
then
the
last
thing
is
I
am
on
pto
from
now
until
next
Wednesday,
except
for
our
site
visit
this
Wednesday.
So
if
you
need
something
for
me,
I'll
be
popping
in
and
out
randomly,
but
please
expected
to
lay
a
response,
and
if
you
need
something
urgently,
just
shoot
me
a
text
and
I'm
happy
to
help.
A
A
A
A
So
just
say
this
is
just
a
reminder
that
CN
CF
has
informed
us
that
you
know
whatever
the
date
that
we
need
to
get
get
that
in
and
or
start
thinking
about.
That
would
be
imperative.
So
awesome.
Thank
you
all
right
and
then,
when
you're
up
next
with
any
blockers
or
challenges
for
new
contributor
workshop.
G
I'm
buttons
are
hard.
Thank
you
all
for
waiting.
Let's
see,
I
am
just
coming
Monday
meetings,
it's
really
hard,
I
apologize,
I'm,
always
so
discombobulated,
okay,
so
we
have
a.
We
have
a
Content.
Nothing
much
has
changed
on
that.
G
I
have
been
thinking
about
just
general,
like
improvements
to
that
I
think
we
have
settled
on
some
good
titles,
for
the
classes
and
in
this
spreadsheet,
on
the
registration
questions,
I
see
that
the
description
had
that
the
description
is
beginner
and
intermediate,
which
honestly
I
think
that's
okay
too,
but
we
can
probably
like
just
round
up
on
that
and
see
if
we
want
to
give
them
fancier
titles
or
not
yeah.
So
we
have
registration,
questions,
I,
think
almost
finalized
and
that's
kind
of
the
most
pressing
issues
unless
I'm
missing
something.
A
A
And
then
dawn
did
you
have
anything
related
to
Sigma
in
grief
that
is
blocking
you
or
challenging
you
or
anything
like
that
or
any
okay?
No.
H
A
A
A
I
mean
I,
guess
maybe
Wortley
in
in
our
heads
or
I,
don't
know
if
we
need
a
document.
Maybe
we
just
if
folks
are
coming
to
you
saying
that
they'll
help
you
definitely
or
something
like
that,
then
maybe
we'd
be
to
just
like
set
a
ticket
aside
for
them
just
in
case
it
like
sells
out
or
something
I
guess
just
think
about
that
ahead
of
time,
but
I
doubt
if
that
will
be
an
issue
either.
So
that's
just
me
thinking
ahead.
A
I
I
So
a
couple
of
things
I'm
trying
to
put
a
timeline
on
soliciting
sessions,
getting
everything
pinned
down
and
based
on
the
time
that
we
have
until
the
conference.
The
ideal
time
would
be
to
start
soliciting
processions
very
soon
and
then
have
the
solicitation
period
be
basically
the
month
of
August.
However,
that
raises
some
issues:
a
because
some
Europeans
go
on
vacation
for
all
of
August,
a
bunch
of
Americans
go
on
vacation
per
half
of
August.
A
I
I
I
A
I
I
We
also
want
to
have
a
number
of
more
sort
of
interactive
workshops
for
current
contributors
and
I'm.
Looking
for
somebody
to
be
in
charge
of
that,
because
it
will
involve
a
lot
of
going
out
and
soliciting
people
because
I
don't
think
we
get
a
lot
of
people
coming
forward
to
volunteer
to
do
or
chocolate
have
to
ask
people
to
do
it.
So
if
somebody
is
looking
for
an
actual
rule
with
the
convert
with
the
summit
committee,
I
love
it.
I
J
I
A
And
then
I
think
we
are
done.
Does
anybody
else
want
to
stand
up
for
blockers
or
anything
that
is
challenging
for
them
at
the
moment
that
they
need
help
with
all
right?
We
are
gonna,
go
into
project
board,
really
quick,
make
sure
nothing
is
falling
through
falling
through
any
holes
here.
All
right
is
that.
K
A
All
right
good,
so
in
progress,
we've
got
a
ton
of
stuff
going
on,
let's
start
with
reg
first,
since
that's
the
one
of
the
most
time-sensitive
things,
so
we
have
going
on
currently,
let's
open
up
the
umbrella,
actually
Bob,
alright,
and
then
can
everybody
see
this
issue
the
umbrella
issue,
okay,
cool!
Thank
you
for
the
thumbs
up,
all
right,
so
Bob!
Alright.
What
do
we
need
to?
B
We
are
good
to
go
on
questions,
there's
one
question
that
are
not
mentioned
in
slacker
this
morning
as
a
potential
item
on.
Where
did
you
hear
about
the
contributor
summit?
It's
more
marketing
to
see
where,
where
people
are
learning
about
the
stuff
I'm
on
the
question,
we
can
add
it,
we
do
Julie
just
try
and
keep
it
short
registration
and
those
things
as
short
as
possible,
just
to
make
sure
people
don't
just
like
breeze
through
it,
though,.
B
Think
I
think
we
we're
pretty
much
good
as
it
is.
It's
just.
You
know
answering
that
one
last
question:
if
people
want
to
go
over
and
do
another
quick
look
at
it,
this
is
mostly
so
that
Wade
can
give
it
to
their
team
to
build
the
registration
flows,
and
then
we
test
the
registration
flows
and
and
from
there
all
right.
A
B
The
other
dates
September
2nd
launch
for
the
new
contributor
workshop
that
should
really
go
along
with
whenever
we
do
launch
the
website,
probably
or
shortly
thereafter
and
along
with
that
be
sort
of
accessed
for
the
current
career
track.
For
those
that
are
currently
org
members
and
or
you
know,
sponsored
attendees
from
you
know,
a
cig
lead
or
something
like
that,
and
then
October
28th,
this
sort
of
when
I
was
thinking
we
open
it
up
to.
You
know
general
attendee.
Essentially,
if
you
haven't
don't
run
out
and
go
for
the
track.
A
B
A
I
B
G
Actually
kind
of
touched
on
that
that
are
in
this
spreadsheet
right,
it
says:
hey,
do
you?
Do
you
already
have
an
area
that
you're
interested
in?
Do
you
already
have
a
sick?
You
want
to
join
people
who
have
this
knowledge
would
benefit
from
an
intermediate
workshop
right.
I
mean
it's
very
easy
to
answer
the
question:
are
you
a
current
contributor?
Yes,
no,
because
that
basically
is
tied
pretty
closely
to
org
membership,
which
you
PR
in
so
yeah.
G
You
would
know
if
you
were
current
or
not
but
but
saying
but
but
between
it,
but
but
I
think
I
think
josh
has
a
point.
We
can
ask
things
like
how
familiar
are
you
with
going?
Do
you
have
these
interests
and
then
we
I
don't
know
we
might
be
able
to.
We
might
be
able
to
suggest
a
track
to
people
which
I
think
will
be
the
best
option.
G
G
I
We
never
process
using
the
information
with
normal
process
of
how
do
people
select
that
they're
registering
for
the
current.
You
know
the
the
non
workshop
track
right
and
I
mean
really
for
us.
That's
kind
of
a
selection
of
you
know
do
already
belonged
to
a
cig.
Do
you
are
you
already
in
or
member
etc?
I
B
B
A
K
A
Guess
this
is
where
better
descriptions
of
the
event
itself
come
into
play,
which
is
which
is
what
Jonas
and
the
other
folks
are
working
on.
So
I
feel
like
as
long
as
we
have
that
embedded
in
with
the
registration,
then
we
should
be
much
better
like
we
can
define
like
with
kubernetes
org
membership
is
a
link
to
the
canonical
source
of
truths,
and
things
like
that
so
totally
agree.
A
So
your
next
steps,
Bob
as
far
as
like
I
guess,
I'm
milestone,
is
concerned,
is
the
prototype
and
then
soft
launching
of
registration,
see
that's
accurate,
yep
cool,
all
right
and
then
going
I
think
we've
kind
of
already
heard
from
you
that
you're
full
steam
ahead
with
a
proposal.
So
we
don't
have
to
necessarily
go
through
that.
Unless
you
want
to
talk
more
details
about
the
about
the
workshop
right
now,
I,
don't.
G
G
A
All
right
and
then
most
other
things
that
are
in
progress
here:
I
almost
moved
to
blocked,
probably
until
we
get
a
budget
approved
and
until
we
get
a
Content
proposal,
that's
been
reviewed
by
more
people
than
us,
especially
the
website
requirements,
because
the
things
that
are
waiting
on
there,
things
like
the
venue,
confirmation,
etc.
So
I
will
clean
up
the
board
later
on
today
and
Damion
Himanshu.
If
you're
on
the
line
too.
Let's
talk
about
putting
some
of
this
stuff
tin
into
blocked,
cool,
all
right
and
then
Marquis.
D
A
D
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
H
A
A
M
I'm,
a
I
made
it
too
pretty
pretty
fast,
so
yeah
I
made
I'm
in
the
shoe
and
basically
just
gonna
get
the
thing
designed
basically
get
some
questions.
Think
designed
and
then
I
don't
know
how
we're
gonna
go
about
printing
this,
which
is
something
that
might
have
to
go
into
budget
Jimmy
a
fee
I
can
print
it
for
you.
C
A
A
Right
yay,
look.
This
looks
so
awesome.
Yes,
this
is
like
super
new,
so
I
love
it.
This
is
like
adding
a
new
feature.
This
is
your
pet
bird
for
the
summit,
all
right
so
Alison.
Do
you
mind
if
I
assign
you?
Okay,
all
right,
that's
awesome
and
then
I,
just
oh,
my
god,
many
abs
already
y'all
yeah.
Here
we
are
and
then
I
think
we're.
We
have
one
more
great
which
we
sort
of
talked
about,
but
Don
you
want
to
talk.
You
have
anything
like
to
discuss,
sir
anything
for
longer
format.
Conversations
no.
H
A
All
right,
so
that's
it
I
mean
this
is
all
of
the
primer
that
we're
doing
right
now,
if
you
feel
like,
if
anybody
on
the
line
right
now,
it's
like
well
I'm
working
on
something
and
Paris
did
not
talk
about
it
whatsoever.
There
was
no
issue
anything
along
those
lines.
Talk
to
me.
Let's
set
an
issue,
let's
figure
out
how
to
make
a
process
around
it.
That
probably
means
there's
no
process
around
it.
A
C
Let's
do
it,
okay,
all
right
so
once
I
am
not
in
front
of
my
computer,
so
I
won't
update
it
in
real-time
that
if
you
go
to
a
meeting
my
action
items
earlier,
I
linked
to
the
child
that
it
should
be
on
and
I
would
just
want
to
make
sure
I'm
not
missing
any
opportunities
too,
but
they
don't
see
a
face-to-face
I'm
here,
but
I
did
have
the
meet
and
greet
so
want
to
verify
everything's
a
common
quarter
as
it
currently
stands.
I
understand!
That's
why.
A
All
right,
so
no,
this
is
good.
What
a
time
box
them
in
I
don't
know
if
you
all
saw
that
but
I
like
time
box
them
into
some
feedback,
so
so
really
quickly.
I'm,
just
gonna
go
in
a
high
level
by
Monday,
we'll
go
ahead
and
skip
Sunday
stuff
Monday.
A
A
One
activity
might
go
into
another,
which
is
the
same
meet-and-greet
TBD
on
how
we'll
execute
that
that
dot
dawn
and
myself
and
other
people
will
figure
out
the
like
the
actual
logistics
of
that.
But
as
far
as
the
venue
is
concerned,
nothing
needs
to
change.
We'll
use
the
same
tables,
for
instance,.
C
A
Great
and
then
we
have
one
main
room,
which
is
where
we'll
gather
for
the
Welcome
hoorah
and
whatever
else
is,
and
whatever
sessions
we
think
are
going
to
be
larger
sessions
that
are
mostly
listening
in
QA
since
we'll
have
a
theater
style
there,
and
that
will
that
room
will
also
be
recorded.
Ideas
and
three
go
ahead.
I'm!
Sorry,
okay,
he's
been
great;
okay,
no
I'm!
Sorry
I
thought
you
were
said.
So
that's
right!
That's
what
I
usually
say
when
I'm
about
to
like
lay
lay
on
something
like
so.
A
A
D
D
I
A
Let's
see
I'm
just
gonna
do,
let's
just
say
50
for
technical
discussion
here,
I'm
trying
to
think
of
like
10
a.m.
hour,
and
if
we
have
300
current
contributors,
for
instance,
take
out
the
new
contributors.
That
means
we
need
to
find
space
for
300
people
to
go.
So
if
we
do
54
technical
discussions
and
then
the
workshop
75
sustainability
75,
that
still
leaves
a
hundred
people
for
either
the
main
room
or
hallway
that
works.
A
So
I
mean
we
could
have
technical
discussions
for
50
I
mean
maybe
we
should
just
make
it
so
that
the
unconference
room
and
the
technical
discussions
are
set
up
the
same
way
and
have
the
same
capacity,
because
I
mean
technically
they're
doing
almost
the
same
thing.
It's
just
one
we're
pre-planning
and
one
we're
not
right,
mm-hm,
yeah
and
maybe
I
should
let
maybe
we
can
lay
out
the
the
proposal
that
way
too,
so
that
people
realize
that
that's
kind
of
what's
happening.
A
A
We've
made
a
couple
adjustments
since
the
last
time
you
saw
it,
but
the
one
that
if
you
can
see
my
screen
right
now
on
your
phone,
if
not
no
worries
we
can
always
I,
can
always
show
you
the
stuff
on
Wednesday,
okay,
but
yeah,
yeah,
yeah
I,
know
stories,
yeah,
we're
thinking
live
coding,
especially
if
it's
like
live
coding
like
API
server,
stuff
that'll,
probably
be
more
than
50
people
who
are
interested
in
seeing
that.
So
so
that's
that's
where
we
are
right
now.
A
Yes,
the
docs
team
is
also
in
here
as
well.
I've
put
them
in
the
current
contributor
workshop
room
and
they
are
aware
of
having
a
slot
I've
already,
given
them,
I've
told
them
that
they
could
have
two
to
three
hours,
but
we
need
to
start
wrangling
them
in
as
far
as
what
that
means,
but
questions
concerns
comments
around
content
and
now
josh
is
gonna
start.
You
know
what
he
said
before
with
start
breaking
this
work
down
and
assigning
stuff
to
it.
A
I
K
A
C
I
Okay,
it
just
means
we'll
want
to
we'll
want
to
think
about,
maybe
the
splitting
well,
when
it's
splitting
up
slightly
differently,
it's
just
because
yeah
for
workshops.
We
want
them
to
be
probably
somewhere.
You
know
like
for
some
of
the
topics
we
might
want
for
workshops
we
might
want
to
have
them
be
two
hours,
long
or
double
periods.
A
Deb
is
there
any
others
very
small
spaces
that
we
can
have
maybe
30
or
under
yeah
that
are
around
the
facility
that
are
around
that
we
can
look
at
Wednesday
because
then
I'm
saying,
if
that's
the
case,
if
we
can
get
a
room
for
like
30
or
under
then
we
can
put
the
docs
team
in
that
room.
A
large
meeting.
C
A
C
A
I
So
I
would
say
no
because
the
recording
is
not
gonna,
be
great
quality,
since
it's
a
discussion,
except
that
some
people
may
propose
discussions
that
will
actually
be
for
project
decisions,
and
in
that
case
we
want
some
level
of
recording.
So
I
guess
the
question
is,
but
we
don't
know
that
we're
gonna
have
that
kind
of
content
right
now,
so
I
guess
the
question
is:
if
we
need
to
add
recording
to
that
room,
you
know
say
at
the
when
we've
selected
stuff
at
the
beginning
of
October
is
that
gonna
be
impossible.
B
A
Yeah
I
mean
the
problem.
I
feel
like
the
sessions
that
had
folks
out
like
prepped
very
hard
and
like
pull
them,
what
to
do
ahead
of
time
and
how
to
deal
with
the
fact
that
there's
a
somebody
in
the
room
recording
them
feel
like
they
went
a
lot
better,
so
I
feel
like
if
we
do
choose
to
report
these
rooms
we
need
to.
We
showed
prep
folks
on
like
the
room,
facilitators
and
stuff
like
that,
like
we
had
last
year,
so
I
mean
as
it
stands
right
now.
