but

need
the
fence

close

having

wasn't

former
neighbors

never
even
considered

privacy

because

didn't
have
any
issue
with
them.
Trespassing
on
my
property
in
any
way,

since
the
new
people
have
moved
in,
it's

not
pleasant.

Halloween.

were

candy

fine

trespassing

speaking

so

I
walk
every
day
on
Perry

walk

Gilmer
and
Paul,
and
there's
no
10-foot
side
yard
fences
anywhere
in
that
area.
I
can't
see
how
a
12
foot
high
wall
is
consistent
with
the
character
of
the
Garden
District,
and
it
would
seem
to
me,
as
some
of
you
have
pointed
out,
the
issue
that's
being
addressed,
isn't
solved
by
building
for.

if
there's
an
issue
of
someone
improperly
looking
through
a
window,
there's
remedies
for
that
other
than
a
permanent
structure,
whether
it
can
come
down
or
not
come
down,

it's

impacts
the
character
of
the
neighborhood
in
the
historic
nature,
and
it's
inconsistent,
so
I
don't
see
in
Reading
what
the
report
here
says.
It's
a
variance
can't
be
justified
in
this
situation.
There's
other
remedies.

feel
someone
is
invading
your
privacy
and
I,
don't
think
the
answer
is
what's
being
asked
for
here.

is
very
difficult
for
me,
because

want

to
be
comfortable
in

home

like

comfortable

can
understand
why
this
situation

feel
uncomfortable.
But
my
job,

happy
it's

decide
what

affect

character

historic

have
some
tall
fences

walls
excuse

in

places,

district,
they're

not
much
taller

not
any
taller

12
feet.

those
have
only
been
allowed

backs

public

feeling
about
this
is
that

it
needs

front
corner

house

turn

look
like

opinion

love

support

closely

step

will
enhance

neighborhood
