some
internet
issues
so
moving
right
along

So
the
agenda
for
today
is
just
continuing
where
we
are
filament
maker,
cnc,
torch
table,
CB,
press
power,
cube
tractor
and
we're
like
piling
projects
on,
but
also
at
the
same
time
we've
got
more
people.
We've
got
one
new
developer,
Achmed
he's
from
the
team
in
obey
the
saudi
arabian
team
or
reclining
a
big
nice
big
3d
printer
tractor,
build
for
december.

That's
going
to
be
a
major
major
event
in
saudi
arabia,
we're
going
for
extreme!
That
is
a
hundred
printers
being
built
in
a
single
day,
so
we're
they're
already
prototyping
that
they're
getting
materials
to
do
a
prototype
of
one
of
the
machines
and,
in
the
meantime,
we're
continuing
the
prototyping
here
in
a
sense
that
we're
running
more
workshops.

got
the
next
one

august
12
and
we're
already
planning
the
one
after
that
for
september
16
or
23rd.

process
was
pretty
good.
The
design
sprint
went
well.

we
were
doing
was
work
primarily
on
the
spooler
part,
so

assembly
by
Roberto
here,
there's
the
working

there's

a
little
bit
of
finishing
up
to
do
the
next
step
on
them
on
the
whole
filament
maker.

workshop

he's.

did
most
of
the
well
most
but
a
lot
of

Kodama
and
she
was
involved

lot
early
on.

a

he's
coming
back
to
the
show,
we're
planning
on
running
a
an
event
in
Augusta
Maine,
where
he's
located
so
we're
thinking
that
we
can
expand
what
we're
doing
right
now
so

actually
start
building
larger
printers
to

Think
that
you
know
we're
showing
everything
works,
we've
perfected
the
prints.

is
going
kind
of
schedule
and
then
what
about
doing
a
filament
maker
day
on
day
two

experimental
build
right
after
the
main
workshop,

we
build
our
first
iteration
of
the

the
filament
maker,
and

you

we
do
the
best.
We
can.
We
test
a
lot
of
the
components
as
far
as
we
can
beforehand,
but
it
will
be
an
experimental
build
so
we'll
we'll
extrude.

Some
filament
will
have
some
ABS
pellets
or
regrind
that
will
just
start
making
film
it
and
see
how
good
it
is,
and
it
would
be
an
exciting
event
for
all
of
us
as
we're
really
experimenting
and
learning
how
that
whole
process
works.
It's
a
new
thing
for
us,
we've
never
built
it,
but
that
would
be
September,
16
or
23rd
and
we're
trying
to
nail
that
schedule.

basically,
every
4-6
weeks
host
continue
on
the
3d
printer
workshop,
so
we
get
good
at
it
and
we
really
nail
down
all
the
organizational
issues,
because
right
now,
still
you
can
say
refining
some
of
the
sourcing
issues.
I
think
the
sourcing
is
quite
good,
but
just
getting
more
one
more
experience
on
it
allows
us
to
just
really
feel
confident
perfected,
so
everybody
else
can
replicate
it.
Just
like
he's.
Emmanuel
wants
to
replicate
workshops
in
Maine,
so
filming
maker
on
day
two
okay.

that's

the
big
news
on
a
very
current
work,
the
3d
printer,
a
lot
of
work
right
now
and
right

as
we
speak
on
printing
parts
for
the
next
printer
printing,
eight
parts
for
eight
so
far
and
moving
forward

back
to
the
the
more
general
schedule.
Just
look
at

at
all
the
projects

are

board

CNC
circuit
mill,
power,
cube
print
cluster,
filament
maker,
CNC,
torch
table
and
workshops,
and
a
tractor
team
just
beginning.
So

that.

a
CNC
circuit
mill,
here's
the
latest
so
Shane's,
actually
working
in
the
background
at
Michigan,
Tech
University
there.
This
is
the
D
3
D
based
circuit
mill,
he's
working
on
height:auto
automatic
height
calibration,
so
he's
actually
probing
the
the
filament
probing
with
with
a
actual
cutting
tip,
he's
probing
the
height
of
a
circuit
board.
So
he
can
level
the
circuit
board.
So,
just
like
we
have
a
leveling
mechanism
within
the
three
3d
printer.

You
need
to
do
that
same
for
the
circuit
maker,
so
you're
exactly
on
the
surface
of
what
you're
milling
so
he's
getting
maps
finally
got
the
software
to
work
to
get
out
working,
Maps
height
maps,
so
that
that
height
can
be
corrected,
adjusted
during
the
actual
milling
process,
that's
great
work
and
that's
exciting.
If
we
get
a
popular
CNC
circuit
mill
that
actually
works,
it
is
really
inexpensive.
Just
like
be
3d.

construction
set
method,
there
could
be
a
great
step
forward
for
all
of
open-source
and
that
people
have
already
circuit
mode
to
make
their
controllers
and
whatever
else
they
need
for
electronics.
Now
you
can
think
about
the
next
generation

a
pick-and-place
machine
where,
where
the
little
machine
is
actually
populating,
the
circuit
board
with
your
component,
so
it's
a
little
suction
suction
tip
that
places
the
components
right
on
your
circuit
board
and
then
that
thing
is
fried

up,
so
that
this
circuit
components
stick
on
like
surface
mount
components.

everything
is
constrained
such
that
when
you
download
the
whole
package
you
you
can
work
on
individual
assemblies
assembly
files
and
then
then
here's
the
workflow
just
like
we
want,
which
is
that
you
import
the
assembly
automatically
within
the
assembly
to
workbench,
there's
a
there's,
an
update
button,
so
that's
kind
of
simplifies
instead
of
using
the
merge
like
we
talked
about
where
we
merge
files
into
an
existing
document.
There's
that
functionality
exists
also
in
a
free
CAD
assembly
workbench,
where
you
update
the
parts
and
they
they're
all
in
the
correct
place.

good
workflow,
but
the
next
step
here
is
getting
dfv
accepts
out
as
far
as
cutting.
We
need
to
do
that
really
by
by
this
week,
so
there's
three
weeks
left
for
cutting.

one

tweaks

pretty

download

DXF
exporter.

sure
you
have
that
you
got
to
be
in
the
right
workbench
and
you
got
to
select
things.
So
it's
a
whole
procedure
for
doing
that,
but
that's
good
once
we
do
that
we
go
into
libre
CAD,
so
so
he's
using
Roberto's
using
view
within
free
CAD,
but
Libra
CAD,
which
is
another
open
source
about
two-dimensional,
drawing
program.
You
can
download
that
Libra
CAD
and
that's
how
it
looks.
This
is
Libra

So
you

your
your
two-dimensional
drawing
you
just
import
your
files
into
Libra
CAD,
that's
great
excellent!

we
need
to
do
so
for

workflow
allocations,

work
and
design
screen
preparation,
we're
going
to
run
another
design
sprint

CNC
course
table,
so
we
can
actually
get
that
thing
done
and
start
cutting
the
steel,

some
of
the
works
for
preparation
for

design
sprint

all

DXF
files
generated.

we
speak,
running
3d
3ds
I'm
going

get
that
up
to
six,

next
few

single
computer
can
run
many

them,

we

be
very
efficient

Raspberry
Pi
to
control
all
the
3d
printers
so
that
we're
working
on

still
working
on
that
documenting

is

So
what
we
have
this
is
the
automatic
height
controller
for
the
CNC
torch
table,
and
what
we
have
here
is
both
automated
capacitive
sensing
capacity
as
well
as
this
knob
here
that
you
see
that
you
can
control
the
height
on
the
torch
manually.
So
that's
excellent.
Basically
you
can
do
adjustments
with
the
knob
or
you
can
do
automatic
control.

that's
a
really
nice
nice
thing
this
is
for
oxy-fuel
cutting,
which
means
that
we
can
do
oxy-acetylene
and
pretty
soon
I
mean
we're
going
to
get
into
hydrogen,
so
oxy-hydrogen
cutting
where
you're
splitting
water
and
that's
I
mean
that's
a
well
proven
technology.
So
we're
going
to
get
into
that
later.

But
but
oxy
fuel
is
a
lowbrow
way
to
go
without
using
a
plasma
cutter
and
with
hydrogen
oxy
hydrogen
you
can
do
aluminum,
you
can
do
steel,
you
can't
just
do
aluminum
with
oxy-acetylene,
but
you
can
do
aluminum
cut
aluminum
with
oxy-hydrogen,
so
gases
are
very,
very
good.
It
also
integrates
with
some
of
the
rest
of
the
GVCS
technology.
We
can
do
oxy
a
wood
gas.
We
have
the
gasifier
right.
We
already
ran
our
engines
on
it,
so
we
can
take
that
gas
and
do
oxy
wood
gas
cutting
it's
doable.

got
to
do
it
because
that's
once
again
talking
about
local
abundant
resources
like
wood
or
like
water,
for
your
cutting
gases
and
with
the
splitting
of
water,
you
get
you
get
oxygen,
so
we
can
actually
generate
our
own
cutting
gas,
because
oxy-fuel
cutting
relies
on
an
oxygen
lamps
oxygen
going
through
your
nozzle
that
actually
cuts
the
metal
after
it's
hot,
it
cuts
the
metal.
That's
what

the
cutting?
It's,
not
the
heat,
it's

hot,
the
oxygen
just
blows
right
through
oxidizing

five
feet
long.
The
table
that
we
have
is
actually
more
like
six
by
twelve
feet,
so
we're
going
to
do
more
like
these
axes.
This
is
a
five
feet
here.
I
think
we're
going
to
extend
that
to
more
like
six
feet
by
using
longer
shafts
but
yeah.
This
looks
like
it's
working.

just
mounted
the
belton
and
motors
and
I
fried
the
first
one.
I
don't
know
what's
wrong,
maybe
I
had
a
bad
controller,
buy
fried
the
first
one,
that's
as
far
as
I
got,

we

get
this
thing.
Moving
we're
using
the
3d
printed
bushings
that
you're,
seeing
here
in
the
back
all

green
ones,
that's
what's
inside
them
and
that
seems
to
be
working.
I'm
going

The
friction
is
pretty
decent.

put
some
wd-40
on
the
rails
and
the
sliding
friction
is
pretty
low.

think
it's
pretty
easy

that
we
can
use
our
regular
NEMA,
17

NEMA
23

motors
to
pull
these,
but
at
first
we're
just
doing
the
NEMA
17
I'm,
trying
to
see
if
a
single
NEMA
17
is
sufficient
to
pull
one
of
these
axes.
It
actually
should
be

everything
is
right,

we're
going
to
test
that
that's

torch
table.
As
far
as
preparing
for
the
workshop

ready

builds

We
need
more
people

sign

otherwise
we
won't

24
builds
but
less,

we
are
building
the
six
footer,
which
is
basically
two
of
the
frames.

stack
up
two
of
the
frames
together
with
a
six-foot
vertical
height,
to
make
a
very
tall
printer
four
tall,
columnar,
printing,
alright,
so
I
think
with
that
said,
just
one
last
update
as
you.
If
you
want
to
take
a
look

the

the
water
system,
that's
brand
new
from
the
sadhika
home,
but
we
were
running
a
rainwater
collection,
surface
water
collection,
purification
system,
which
is
very
neat.
It's

water
from
anywhere
from
your
roofer
or
wherever
or
the
surface
and
purify
it
from
the
sand
filter
some
charcoal
filters
and
ozonator.
The
ozonator
has
not
been
installed
yet,
but
that's

we're

next
we're

on
to
the
bio
digester.
So
that's
going
to
be
very
interesting,
shits
going
to
get
interesting.

two

three
day
workshop

we're
going
to
start
planning
on
that

to
do
some
power
cube
work,

maker,
finishing
a
bunch
of
projects
are
on
on
the
work
block
for
this
week.
So
for
this
week
design
sprint,
we
want
to
go
noon
to
4:00
p.m.
again.

work
on
the
power
cube
and
tractor.

power
cube
is
necessary
for
the

press

the
tractor,
so

power
cube
is
the
common
ground
for
a
lot
of

stuff.

be

about
that.
Let's
first
review
the
just

work
allocation.
So
if
we
go

work
flow

what's
happening
here,
I
think
the
main
thing
we
want
to
be
concerned
about
is
the
design
sprint.

for
the
design
sprint,
the
brunt
of
the
work
I
think
we
should
probably
want
to
focus
on
the
power
cube,
since
we
need
that
for
August
25,
which
is
the
tractor.
Sorry,
the
the
CB
press
power
cube,
build
I.
Think
the
the
great
priority
is
there
to
get
that
going,
because
we're
also
going
to
need
CNC
cutting
files
for
the
power
cube.

Now
this
time
around
we're
actually
switching
much
more
to
CNC
cutting
on
a
power
cube
before
this
we
did
a
lot
of
the
work
with
the
the
modular
tubing,
the
four
by
four
inch
tubing,
and
one
thing
we're
finding
about
that.
Is
it's
adding
a
lot
of
weight
and
a
lot
of
times
we're
not
using
the
power
cubes
like
the
structural
power
cube
is
so
that
you
can
use
it
as
a
structural
component,
but
we
haven't.

We
found
that
we
don't
really
new
need
the
power
cube
to
be
a
structural
component,
so
we're
going
to
go
much
simpler,
we're
going
to
lighten
down
the
power
cube
and
do
it
by
CNC
cutting
more
so
the
CNC
cutting
part.
The
great
part
about
that
is
actually
the
increase
in
build
speed.
So
if
you
cut
out
a
frame,
I
think
it
becomes
clear
from
the
3d
printer
work
that
the
frames
are
very
easy
to
put
together
and
well
together.
It
took
me
four
nine
frames.
A
It
took
me
two
and
a
half
hours
from
the
cut
metal
to
lay
it
up,
weld
it
together
and
even
after
painting
it
two
and
a
half
hours
for
nine
frames.
That's
pretty
fast,
so
the
CNC
cutting
does
give
you
a
lot
of
speed
ability
to
do
it
really
fast,
because
when
you
make,
when
you
cut
up
a
cube
with
CNC,
then
it's
automatically
self
aligning
that's
the
big
part.

Otherwise,
when
you
have
linear
tube
members,
I,
like
the
alignment
part
takes
quite
a
bit
of
time,
so
for
speed
of
build
an
extreme
manufacturing
model,
the
CNC
cutting
is
really
favorable.
It
allows
you
to
light
things
up
and
bonded
together
with
magnets
magnet
holders
and
just
tack
and
weld
into
place.
So
we
can
do
that
and
I'll
prepared
document.

I
don't
have
a
working
document
on
a
power
cube
for
that,
but
we'll
break
down
once
again,
just
as
normal,
we
break
down
the
power
cube
into
different
modules
and
people
can
design
the
different
modules
work
on
the
individual
modules
getting
the
CAD
starting
by
doing
some
some
rapport,
you
can
say,
reverse
engineering,
all
the
power
cubes
we've
done
so
far
we're
in
Sketchup.
So
we
got
to
basically
generate
the
free
CAD
models.
Sketchup
the
not
really
cut
it
anymore.

them
on
a
design

basically,
as
far
as
the

good,

the
