From YouTube: How to Do Language Agnostic Instructionals
Description
This is a detailed explanation of the workflow that OSE uses to produce Language Agnostic Instructionals (LAIs) - perhaps the most advanced form of hardware build documentation. This procedure is open source, and the software tools are also open source except for Google Docs.
Procedure uses FreeCAD as the basis, with Inkscape for cleaning up images. The instructional is then edited in Google Docs. Source files are then saved on the OSE wiki, so that any work remains editable to facilitate continued or derivative work.

To
create
language
agnostic
instructions,
you
need
to
extract
nice-looking,
isometric
snapshots
of
part
from
free
cat.
First
install
an
automated
script,
also
known
as
a
macro
for
extracting
isometric
views,
download
the
ISO
view
macros
in
style
this
Magnum
and
even
to
go
to
the
files
folder
view,
meaning
show
hidden
files
from
drag
the
macro
that
you
download
into
the
streetcar
directory.
You
will
then
see
the
macro
appear
in
the
free
cat
macro
menu
under
macros.

can
edit
the
macro
and
you'll
see
that
it
is
written
in
Python,
open,
affricate
file
to
extract
an
isometric
view,
select
the
part
you
want
by
double
clicking
on
it.
If
the
part
that
you
want
consists
of
several
smaller
plugs,
go
to
assembly
to
workbench
or
assembling
the
needed
parts
then
go
to
part
workbench
select
all
of
those
assemblies
parts
and
use
the
main
compound
to
department.
You
then
select
the
compound
paste
by
double
clicking
on
it,
execute
the
macro.

click
execute
which
you
take
up
to
1.5
minutes,
depending
on
the
base
complexity
and
your
computer
capacity
to
make
it
easier.
Activate
the
macro
toolbar
go
to
view
menu,
toolbars
and
check
macros.
Now
you
can
access
the
macro
list
by
clicking
on
the
indicated
to
double
click
on
the
noon.
