Standardizing feature flags unifies tools and vendors behind a common interface, avoiding vendor lock-in at the code level. It provides a framework for building extensions and integrations that can be shared across the community.

Pipekit is a control plane for Argo Workflows that enables massive data pipelines in minutes, saving engineering time and cloud spend. There is a "Chicken or Egg'' challenge in GitOps. To deploy your application/workflow in a GitOps way, you need to tell your cluster to deploy it. So how do you tell your cluster to deploy your application in a GitOps fashion in a GitOps way? In this episode, we'll explore the concept of "App of Apps'' and how this can mitigate that challenge. We'll also introduce ApplicationSets, a new CRD from the Argo Project that improves upon this design.

Now that we've looked at other continuous integration (CI) tools, let's see how Tekton stacks up. Tekton is a young yet powerful CI tool for Kubernetes and OpenShift that's optimized for building and deploying cloud-native, microservice-based applications. When it comes to CI, there are lots of options, each with a slightly different set of features, so we'll look at why you'd want to use it and dive into the features Tekton offers.
