Call
a
team
meeting
69
about
that
on
good
morning,
good
evening
good
afternoon
to
all
of
you
who
are
tuning
in
for
the
play.
No
we're
recording
this
live
from.
This
is
one
week
in
one
day
before
woodblock
2015,
our
conference
on
today,
we're
going
to
talk
about.
We
haven't
had
a
meaning
for
two
weeks,
both
Dan
Daniel
and
I.
Have
you
know
been
on
different
kinds
of
vacations
at
different
time
periods.
B
Today,
we're
going
to
talk
about
Dan,
Kirk's,
google,
doc
for
faculty
up
promotions,
we're
going
to
talk
about
courses
coming
up
soon
and
then
we're
also
going
to
spend
a
bunch
of
time
on
wood
block
2015.
So
without
further
ado
dan.
Why
don't
you
talk
about
the
courses
that
are
coming
up
soon?
Other
people
can
sign
up
for.
C
C
It's
about
five
minutes
long
and
gives
you
some
insight
from
both
his
own
perspective
and
the
perspective
of
the
content
of
the
course
advance
online
teaching
strategies,
a
good
course
for
faculty
who
are
already
teaching
who
want
to
enhance
their
ability
to
teach
online,
that's
taught
by
Professor
Johnson,
starting
August
fifth,
as
well
as
adult
education,
basics
for
online
instructors.
Again,
one
of
those
courses
that
helps
folks
who
are
already
teaching
but
want
to
enhance
some
of
their
skills
in
various
areas
of
their
teaching
profession.
That's
also
an
August
fifth
start.
C
Professor
Bolton
has
his
philosophy
of
love
course
and
a
beginners
philosophy
course.
So,
those
both
our
philosophy,
humanities
courses
both
before
signing
up
you
should
check
out
each
of
them
and
give
them
a
look
and
make
sure
you're
ready
to
dive
into
the
content
and
that
they'll
be
offering
and
those
are
starting
august
3rd.
C
B
For
faculty
members
who
are
creating
courses
and
also
offering
courses
that
are
coming
up,
we've
had
a
few
really
successful
arm.
Signups
dan
can
talk
about
that.
One
is
history
of
the
CIA
class
and
I
wanted
to
share
with
you.
Some
of
the
strategies
instructor
is
using
to
attract
palm
students
to
the
course
one
is
basically
tweeting
out
both
creating
a
twitter
account
on
Facebook,
sending
out
emails
to
all
the
contacts,
and
what
this
does
is
that
this
generates
a
following,
and
then
people
come
and
sign
up
and
take
the
class.
B
What's
also
really
interesting
is
one
of
the
students
arm
and
I.
Don't
want
to
mention
names
because
I
don't
have
permission,
received
approval
for
continuing
legal
education
in
the
United
States
in
that
state
to
use
one
of
the
plural
classes
as
credit
for
the
continuing
legal
education,
and
so
we're
going
to
be
posting
announcing
some
not
announcing,
but
posting
and
writing
up
some
things
on
that,
so
that
the
person
could
retake
the
class
and
receive
credit
for
their
rock
continuing
legal
edit.
B
Their
were
a
lawyer,
so
my
big
suggestion
in
terms
of
if
you're,
an
instructor
who's,
developing
a
class
or
your
instructor,
who
has
a
class
available
soon
make
sure
that
you
are
active
on
social
media
and
active
within
your
own
network
to
publicize
the
class.
This
will
make
it
so
that
more
students
are
attracted
to
your
course,
and
you
start
filling
up
on
your
section.
B
One
thing
that
sometimes
comes
up
in
discussions
is
sometimes
faculty
say.
Well,
you
need
to
provide
me
with
the
students.
Well,
there
are
companies
that
do
that
on,
for
example,
udemy
has
a
policy
where,
if
you,
if
they
provide
you
with
the
students,
they
take
at
least
fifty
percent
of
the
tuition
revenue
you
generate,
we
don't
want
to
do
that.
We
want
to
make
sure
our
faculty
get
paid
quite
a
lot
of
money.
So
remember
we
take
ten
percent
or
a
hundred
dollars.
B
Whichever
is
greater
so
you
know,
it's
really
will
publicize
the
courses
as
we
can
on
a
website,
but
please
remember
that
we're
providing
you
a
platform
where
you
can
build
your
own
brand,
where
you
can
build
your
reputation
and
and
by
doing
that,
both
get
a
larger
chunk
of
the
tuition
revenue
and
you
know,
build
a
solid,
secure
job
done.
A
Keep
key
quotes
that
we
can
actually
use
in
our
own
promotion
of
your
course,
which
is
of
course,
ideal
if
we're
writing
a
blog
post
or
tweeting
things
out
that
we
actually
know
what
we're
talking
about.
What
the
course
is
about,
after
course,
we're
in
which
we
don't
have
a
specialization.
That
said
wilson
and
you
do
have
a
very
important
talent
items
so
I
hope
that
said,
we
be
able
to
post
data
just
before
would
blocker
so
that
we
should
have
some
awesome.
Sorry,
we
have
some
interesting
things
also
to
show
do.
B
You
want
to
share
that
that
Google
Doc
down
on
your
screen
right
now
or
wait
no.
C
We
haven't
gone
through
it
enough
yet,
but
essentially
what
it
does
is
it
allows
faculty
members
to
go
through
in
a
form
like
process
fill
out
responses
to
short
answer
questions
and
give
us
an
idea
of
how
we
might
have
we
all
you
know
faculty
and
a
player
not
included,
might
promote
the
course
and
its
content,
but
we
haven't
it's
still.
It's
kind
of
first
draft
form,
so
I
don't
think
it's
ready
to
be
shared.
Ok,.
B
Why
don't
we
then
go
to
the
are
wanna
just
dome?
Let's
see
anything,
you
guys
want
to
share.
That's
not
listed
on
the
agenda
item
before
we
talk
about
what
block.
A
B
Dan
you
got
something
nope,
ok,
I
just
want
to
then
talk
a
little
about
bit
about
what
I
would
call
the
dog
days
of
summer
in
academia,
which
is
on
generally
July
and
August.
It's
a
time
when
a
lot
of
people
are
on
vacation
where
people
are
starting
to
increase
their
work
in
terms
of
getting
ready
for
the
fall,
and
so
we're
going
to
have
updates
for
you
all,
but
we're
really
going
to
be
pushing
most
of
our
updates
and
the
interesting
stuff.
B
We
want
to
talk
about
to
again
wood
block,
which
is
next
Tuesday.
So
why
don't
we
you
want
to
talk
about?
Why
don't
we
talk
about
that
arm
and.
B
A
B
B
Okay,
that's
on
the
website.
So
how
about
what
I'll
do
is
I'll
share
my
screen,
which
are
always
friends,
everyone
that
will
do
do
the
entire
screen.
B
Here
we
go
on
here
is
the
wood
block
on
site
you'll
see
that
it's
August?
Fourth,
there
are
the
sessions,
and
it's
really
going
to
be
an
interesting
set
of
sessions
of
a
running.
Remember
we're
going
to
do
this
just
on
August.
Fourth,
so
we
don't
have
a
five
day
marathon
extravaganza,
which
was
really
fun
last
year,
but
we
think
we
can
compress
and
get
just
as
much
value
out
of
that
for
everybody.
B
So
the
topics
that
we're
going
to
be
discussing
is
breaking
the
poverty
of
adjunct
faculty
with
Tom
Scott
rank
from
scholar,
preneur
and
myself
on
Scott
rank
is
really
interesting.
He's
just
completed
his
PhD.
He
lives
in
Turkey
on,
but
he's
also
been
working
on
for
the
last
several
years
in
creating
this
notion
of
the
Scala
preneur
because
of
his
views.
That
tenure
is
for
ninety
percent
of
academics
dead
and
undergoing
an
incredible
transformation.
He's
had
all
kinds
of
different
people
on
his
website.
We're
just
going
to
be
talking
about.
B
You
know
the
full
time
faculty
positions
and
about
how
to
create
a
new
life
as
an
academic
within
the
context
of
organizations.
Like
a
player
knowledge,
you
know
other
open
learning
organizations
which
are
being
created.
The
second
piece
is
the
second
session
is
about
building
your
own
degree
without
the
debt
arm.
There
are
a
couple
different
colleges
in
in
the
world
that
have
self-designed
degrees
and
Burlington
colleges
are
leader
in
this
self
design
and
self-designed
educational
programs.
B
So
we
haven't
quite
finalized
this,
but
they
should
be
making
a
presentation
on
their
own
self
design
degree
program
which
is
going
to
be
great
next
on
one
of
our
faculty
members,
dr.
Johnson
is
going
to
be
giving
us
a
presentation
at
called
maintaining
a
presence
in
an
online
teaching
environment.
We
know
that
online
educational
online
instruction
is
very
different
than
face-to-face
instructions
and
in
some
ways,
a
lot
more
complex
and
dr.
B
Johnson
is
going
to
be
talking
with
us
for
a
half
an
hour
about
what
about
how
to
teach
online
and
how
to
main
that
maintain
a
presence
with
your
students
and
really
build
an
online
learning
community
on
the
next
session.
After
that,
which
is
an
11am
arm,
is
going
to
be
another
about
a
half
an
hour
where
I'll
be
talking
about
ways
in
which
player
now
can
work
with
higher
education
institutions
to
both
lower
costs,
increase
quality
and
access
issues
for
different
student
groups.
B
Well,
if
you're,
a
small
institution
you
tap
into
a
planet
where
you
can
solutely
increase
quite
quickly
with
rhythm
costs,
kinds
of
courses
that
your
students
are
able
to
access-
and
that's
a
big
I
think
this
session-
that
I'm
really
really
excited
about
is
one
that's
going
to
be
at
1pm
eastern
5
p.m.
UTC,
which
is
a
discussion
about
a
college
disrupted.
The
great
unbundling
of
higher
education
with
author
lion,
Craig
and
myself
I'll
be
interviewing
in
about
the
book
college.
Disrupted
is
a
book.
You
all
should
take
a
look
at.
B
I
sat
down
and
read
it
in
on
the
course
of
about
you
know
six
hours,
many
of
the
themes
in
it
are
familiar
to
a
player,
no
faculty
and
if
you've
been
tuning
in
to
our
meetings
over
the
past
year,
you'll
notice
that
college
disrupted
we'll
hit
up
those
same
themes
what's
different
is
that
Ryan
Craig
brings
a
very
different
perspective,
comes
from
a
very
different
background
than
let's
say
myself,
dan
or
Daniel,
or
generally
most
faculty
he's
a
venture
capitalist
who
works
at
finding
really
interesting,
innovative
educational
companies
on
he's.
B
Also
an
author
and
he's
got
a
really
very
background
training
as
a
lawyer
and
he's
really
looking
since
he
doesn't
really
have
a
to
use
the
American
colloquialism
a
dog
in
this
fight.
In
other
words,
he
is
an
outsider
in
terms
of
being
you
know,
of
traditional
academia,
but
he
knows
it
well
because
of
where
he
went
to
school
and
who
he's
worked
with,
etc.
He
really
calls
to
account
all
of
the
various
practices
that
that
we
had
a
player
know
have
a
problem
with
in
terms
of
traditional
higher
education.
B
So
it's
going
to
be
a
really
good
discussion
and
one
that
will
really
look
forward
to
recording
it
on
posting
a
little
bit
later
round
table
higher
education
discussion
is
our
final
session
at
two
p.m.
eastern
on
and
6
p.m.
UTC.
B
We're
going
to
be
talking
about
large-scale
trends,
to
improve
again,
accessibility,
cost
and
quality
on
the
panels
still
being
formed.
We
have
a
few
people
who
are
on
it,
but
if
you'd
like
to
participate
in
the
panel
send
us
an
email
ought
to
either
skip
photoplay,
no
com
or
two
would
block
at
a
plenary
com.
Do
I,
have
the
address
correct?
B
Yes,
okay
would
lock
into
plano
calm
and
we'll
take
a
look
about
putting
you
on
the
panel
on
the
roundtable
discussion
is
going
to
be
more
free
form,
although
people
are
where
we're
trying
to
get
the
most
diverse
group
possible
to
bring
up
the
issues
that
they
think
are
important,
but
we
do
want
to
focus
on
accessibility,
cost
and
quality.
So
again,
if
you're
interested
in
participating,
the
discussion,
let
us
know
so,
would
block
2025
is
next
tuesday
we're
really
looking
forward
to
having
you
participate.
B
We're
also
going
to
be
recording
all
the
sessions
which
will
help
us
we're
going
to
be
posting
them
on
to
the
block
on
portion
of
our
website.
B
We
would
love
for
you
all
to
if
you're,
watching
to
please
tweet
out
the
fact
that
would
block
is
around
and
that
people
can
participate
and
also
that,
unlike
a
lot
of
educational
conferences
on
this,
one
is
free
you'll
be
able
to
access
it
online
on
through
our
crowdcast,
just
like
you're
accessing
this
meeting
and
you'll
be
able
to
send
questions
to
the
to
the
participants
in
the
different
sessions
and
we'll
answer
them
at
the
end,
or
sometimes
even
during
session
itself.
Okay,
anything
else.
Anybody
wants
to
add
dan
you're
Daniel.
B
B
A
B
A
B
Hey
take
a
look
just
before
we
close
take
a
look
at
the
website.
Dan
and
I
have
been
tweaking
with
the
website,
design
on
and
take
a
look
focusing
in
a
little
bit
more
on
the
student
in
the
faculty
issues,
but
will
also
be
announcing
some
of
that
stuff
at
the
our
block
conference
next
week.
So
again,
thank
you
very
much
for
tuning
in
and
we'll
see
you
online
I
see
why.
