A
A
So
we
start
through
here.
We've
got
oh
thank
you,
hello,
minding
chief,
always
thinking
this
guy.
So
our
first
item
this
morning
is
an
item
from
Council
repaired.
The
interactive
mapping
tools
identifying
opportunity
to
improve
cycling,
infrastructure,
connectivity
and
B
that
sorry,
oh
sorry,
I'm,
sorry,
declarations
of
interest.
A
This
is
should
ask
that
in
confirmation
minutes,
okay,
so
I
believe
Council
Ethan
has
got
a
presentation
for
us
and
bike
otherwise
here
to
have
an
excellent
so
hold
that
the
second
is
a
funding
agreement
for
second
infrastructure
within
the
district
right
away
between
the
other,
with
a
pathway
and
sweet
Street.
This
is
a
good
news
story
where
we're
going
to
get
time
and
some
cycling
infrastructure
through
a
development.
So
any
questions.
A
B
There
are
two
items
there,
one
which
is
relating
to
the
Parking
Authority
review:
I
thought
that
when
we
came
to
committee
with
that
review
that
we
would
have
a
better
indication
ahead
of
governance
for
next
term.
So
what
I'm
seeing
now
is
the
date
seems
to
have
slipped
to
third
quarter
of
2019,
which
I'm
concerned
with,
because
I
think
it
brings
us
too
far
into
the
next
journal.
I'd,
like
the
review
to
begin
as
part
of
governance.
B
A
B
And
then
the
second
one
relates
to
an
inquiry
that
the
snow
review,
especially
near
school
zones,
the
removal
of
snow
near
school
zones,
and
it
refers
to
an
existing
review
but
doesn't
doesn't
provide
with
timelines
of
the
implementation
of
that
review.
So
I
I'm,
okay,
with
waiting
for
that
review
to
be
completed,
but
because
there's
no
timeline
on
that
review,
it
leaves
no
timeline
for
what
we're
asking
of
so
again.
B
A
That
would
be
the
same
staff
person
so
we'll
we'll
ask
mr.
Wylie
to
come
down
or
somebody
from
the
staff
responded.
Oh
so
yeah
we'll
just
hold
number
three
for
a
quick
response
to
today's
to
welcome
and
we
have
a
PD
bar,
hey,
Ben,
right,
well,
transit
I
believe
that
councillor
Dean's
is
going
to
move
that
motion
to
lift
it
and.
D
Thank
you,
madam
chair,
that
pursuant
to
subsection,
18
9
3
of
procedure,
bylaw
2016
3,
7
7,
the
transportation
committee
approved
the
rules
of
procedure.
B
word
to
allow
for
consideration
of
the
island
listed
without
the
DA
now
hidden
light
rail
transit
based
on
station
to
buy
hidden,
Town,
Center
planning
and
environmental
assessment
study
statement
of
work.
So.
A
C
He's
chairing
thanks
to
the
committee
for
the
indulgences,
I
bring
a
piece
of
research
or
a
tool
that
I
funded
out
of
my
office
budget
to
map
bicycle
routes
in
the
city
to
this
committee.
Just
for
your
information,
less
you
have
an
understanding
of
the
bike.
Ottawa
has
done
and
I
hope
that
it
will
entreat
you
enough
to
get
in
touch
with
them
to
find
out
more
chatter.
What
I'd
like
to
do
is
just
turn
it
over
to
the
delegation
for
the
for
the
presentation.
I've
got
a
few
comments
after
questions.
C
E
E
So
I'd
like
to
introduce
to
you
the
math
that
our
data
group
put
together.
This
is
a
group
of
volunteers.
Many
of
them
do
this
kind
of
work
professionally,
but
a
lot
of
us
are
just
very
interested
citizens,
so
thank
you.
Density
of
our
dough
offer
providing
the
open
data
that
really
fund
the
foundation
for
making
this
possible.
So
first
mapping
is,
it
looks
like
this
is
a
bit
of
a
part
too
much
a
PowerPoint
or
the
scroll
down.
E
So
it's
it's
not
just
a
bit
where
you
can
go,
but
for
both
the
course
it's
really
want
to
go
because
traffic
stress
is
really
one
of
the
deciding
factors
and
whether
or
not
a
route
is
comfortable
enough
to
basic
one,
and
that
is
traffic
stress.
We
all
intuitively
have
a
pretty
good
understanding
of
that.
So,
if
you
can
see,
there's
one
person
here
on
partly
the
world's
most
protected
bike,
lane
Mackenzie
cycle
track-
that's
a
layer
of
stress
runs
in
front
of
the
US
embassy.
E
On
the
other
hand,
there's
never
food
crossing
in
front
along
Rideau.
That's
a
very
high
traffic
stress
environment
because
it's
high
traffic
there's
a
lot
of
volume,
speed
of
traffic,
no
separation
from
cars.
So
we
we
took
visited
three
easy
steps
to
making
a
map
and
apologize
to
the
data
group.
First
oversimplifying,
but
this'll
be
a
first
step
document
it
and
what
we
mean
by
that
is.
We
just
went
out
into
the
community
and
took
a
lot
of
photos.
We
put
a
grid
over
the
City
of
Ottawa.
E
This
shows
a
person,
the
kind
of
coverage
we
have
from
a
0%
to
100%
of
the
streets
covered
with
photography
over
the
course
of
the
summer.
Last
year
we
took
some
funding,
50,000
images,
they
covered
2,000
new
kilometers
of
street,
and
that
was
cited
by
math
waves.
The
program
used
as
being
an
event
a
successful
community
initiatives
in
the
history.
So
you
can
see
when
we
started
this
project,
we
have
a
lot
of
coverage
in
JUnit.
We
is
17
by
October.
We
have
been
all
over
the
city.
E
E
Software
itself
is
smart
enough
to
recognize
a
lot
of
common
things
like
science,
so
yield
sign,
stop
signs
are
highlighted
here
and
I
can
assist
mappers
in
labeling
the
map,
which
is
I
next
step,
so
the
City
of
Ottawa
already
has
a
lot
of
open-source
data
that
from
the
foundation.
We
just
continue
to
add
to
that
by
adding
additional
labels
to
the
map.
So
is
there
a
backplane
or
not?
Is
there
parking
or
not
and
what
is
the
spirit
of
em?
E
E
So
sorting
all
of
these
pieces
of
streets
is
what
really
allowed
us
to
assign
a
level
of
traffic
stress,
and
we
started
based
on
a
logic
that
was
developed,
that
in
the
meta
Institute,
so
first
of
all,
I
was
separated
from
traffic
or
not
sort
into
two
bins
and
then
from
there.
The
other.
Yes,
no
questions.
What
is
the
bike
lane
at
all?
Yes,
I
know:
what
is
the
speed
limit
arranged?
What
class
of
roadway
is
this?
E
Is
there
parking
and
based
on
all
those
categorizations,
were
able
to
assign
a
level
of
traffic
stress
from
1
to
4
to
each
segment
of
road
and
pack,
though
in
the
City
of
Ottawa-
and
it
looks
like
this
when
you
look
on
the
screen,
you
can
even
check
out
our
photographs
embedded
in
the
map
and
provide
commentary.
If
you
think
something
has
been
mislaid,
so
you
can
continue
improving
the
map
as
people
use
it,
which
is
where
the
next
step.
So
our
maps
are
available.
E
Our
map
stop
by
caught
hola
darc
CA
and
we've
gotten
fantastic
feedback.
It
looks
like
this,
and
so
we've
got
four
different
maps.
The
base
is
the
stress
map,
but
from
that
you
can
do
that
in
a
to
be
quite
quick
where'd,
you
like
to
start
order
to
finish
and
what
level
of
traffic
stress
are
you
willing
to
tolerate
idea
that
you
get
a
fairly
direct
route?
E
But
if
not,
that
shows
you
that
there's
a
missing
link,
if
you're
being
righted
part
of
your
way
to
avoid
a
high
stress
situation
and
people
told
us
this
has
helped
them
find
the
granularity
in
the
network
and
be
able
to
find
out
that
permeability
that
they
didn't
even
they
even
aware
that
there
might
be
a
cut
through
here
or
that
fence,
or
that
you
could
use
this
quieter
Street
instead
of
that
major
arterial,
and
so
we've
gotten
great
feedback
from
your
community.
From
this,
it
doesn't
usefulness
to
the
point
you
can
see.
E
How
far
can
you
travel
within
a
certain
level
of
traffic
stress
in
a
certain
amount
of
time
and
family
we've
had
a
mother
out
and
not
basically
survivors
collision
data?
It's
also
available
on
our
website,
so
the
outcomes
of
this
project
have
been
multi.
Network
comes
so
better
photo
resource
that
anyone
can
use
to
plan
their
trips.
You
can
preview
turns
that
we
could
use
in
second
advocacy
ourselves.
E
So
in
the
middle
of
winter
we
can
have
photos
of
bike
paths
that
we
didn't
anticipate
eating
that
you
know,
unlike
those
other
makers,
can
draw
news
photos
if
they
maybe
mapping.
For
other
reasons
looking
for
is
there
a
bench
is
the
event
into
a
business
for
testability
purposes.
This
is
something
else
that
we
can
continue
to
add
richness
to
the
OpenStreetMap
data
set.
E
Therefore,
there
is
something
that
we
have
improved
as
we've
been
improving
the
map.
We
are
continuing
to
improve
the
data
and
anyone
can
contribute
to
improving
that
data
by
providing
s
feedback
through
our
maps
and
so
that
we've
had
a
member.
They
said
comments
and
our
mapping
team
is
continuing
to
improve
the
map
and
it's
a
resource
that
we
can
use
an
advocacy
for
identifying
missing
links
and,
like
I
mentioned,
the
community
has
been
finding
it
really
useful
as
a
mapping
tool
for
planning
trips.
So
thank
you.
A
A
What
level
of
stress
that
will
mean
am
I
willing
to
take
carling
avenue,
you
know,
is
there
another
way
of
getting
to
where
I
want
to
go,
but
it
also
encourages
people
who
won't
take
otherwise
to
you
know
to
get
onto
a
path
where
to
get
on
to
a
street
where
there
is
a
low
level
of
stress
where
you
actually
can.
You
know,
take
your
kids
here,
maybe
seven
and
eight
out
onto
quiet,
neighborhood,
Street
and
and
move
about
so
as
we're
building
a
cycling
infrastructure
and
getting
getting
more
into
place.
A
F
But,
however,
what
the
real
wins
are
in
a
community
of
90,000
people,
I'd
have
people
cycling
more
within
it,
and
so
I
think
that
there's
opportunities
from
looking
at
that
that
you
can
say
you
know
I
would
be
there
to
tweak
it,
and
do
this
make
this
a
little
bit
better.
It
would
be
safer
and
I
think
that
we
would
see
more
people
cycling,
so
I
really
I
really
like
this
and
how
you're
going
to
market
it
like
what's
the
point
you
know
that
is
that
are
culturally
/
well.
E
F
Just
on
that,
you
know
a
lot
of
people
say,
but
while
you're
going
that,
why
are
you
investing
eighty
million
dollars
plus
on
strand,
heard
the
1/3
to
1/4
of
the
entire
road?
That's
a
two
lane
will
Road
the
ditches
because
you
there
are
no
cycling
opportunities
there
there.
No,
there
are
no
pedestrian
right
now
so
having
that
expenditure
for
the
overpass
and
all
of
that
determines-
and
all
that
includes
a
cycling
structure
that
we
don't
have
know
and
in
certainly
for
pedestrians
as
well.
So
thank
you
for
yeah
yeah.
E
I'm
often
bragging
about
by
Haven
social
family
I'm,
actually
often
bragging
today
by
our
here,
but
it's
actually
quite
by
climate
within
community
yeah
so
for
promotion
is
rest.
Are
we
are
promoted
on
a
website,
so
we
should
be
of
energy
media
opportunities
to
make
sure
people
aware
of
it,
and
eventually
hear
from
the
bike
to
workman's
campaign
that
they've
used
it
in
their
education,
which
is
to
tell
people
how
to
plan
a
trip.
So
it's
really
been
getting
they're
taking
the
community.
A
Thank
You
Kaiser
higher
I
think
it
is
important
to
remind
people
that
you
can
circular
bar
Haven
there's
been
a
lot.
That's
been
dining
that
in
that
part
of
the
city,
we
often
think
that
public
perception
is
automatic,
all
happens
in
the
downtown,
but
that
we
have
good
cycling
infrastructure
in
other
parts
of
the
city.
So
just.
F
G
Thanks
so
Heather,
as
you
know,
it's
my
second
time
through
I
was
at
the
bike.
Auto
AGM
the
other
night,
but
given
that
we're
in
the
middle
of
a
c-word
that
we
should
mention
here,
I
had
to
dash
off
just
before
you
just
before
you
finished.
So
thanks
for
that
like
councillor
Hager.
What's
interesting
is
that
well
I,
guess
there's
two
things
that
I
see
a
particular
value
to
this
tool.
G
One
is
it
tells
people
here
is
a
better,
safer,
more
reassuring
route
to
take,
or
possibly
there
isn't
one
and
at
your
comfort
level,
please
don't
do
this.
You
may
be
at
risk
or
find
yourself
in
a
very
uncomfortable
situation
that
can
be
useful,
but
probably
the
most
important
day
for
us
and
our
staff
is.
Why
is
there
not
a
comfortable
route
to
get
from
here
to
there?
Where
is
the
problem?
What
is
the
pinch
point,
and
so
there
I
think
that's
particularly
useful
to
us
in
giving
clear
direction.
G
This
is
what
we
have
to
deal
with.
I
know.
For
me,
it's
going
to
be
the
Bank
Street
bridge
over
the
Rio
canal
and
in
Billings
bridge
over
over
the
Rideau
River
likely
until
those
bridges
are
rebuilt,
just
because
of
the
physical
infrastructure
that
they
are,
but
even
to
know
that
and
that
so
many
people
are
telling
us
wow
I
could
be
taking
I
want
to
be
taking
this
ride,
but
for
that
problem
gives
a
higher
a
priority
to
it,
which
is
great
but
also
to
to
council.
G
Harbors
point
is
that
within
communities,
not
everyone,
as
you
say,
we
often
hear
almost
as
a
sometimes
we
hear
it
as
a
criticism
for
why
is
to
see
spending
a
lot
of
money
on
psyching
infrastructure,
because
we
are
never
going
to
ride
downtown
anyway,
and
my
response
is
regularly
I'm
not
expecting
you
to
write
downtown
from
bar.
Even
that
isn't
necessarily
the
point,
and
in
fact
maybe
the
point
is
with
this
map
there's
a
great
way
to
get
to
the
I
know.
G
G
We
can't
do
it
all
with
our
budget,
but
when
there
are
people
who
are
out
on
bikes
smother
with
their
smartphones
and
apps
than
I
am
just
willing
to
turn
that
on
and
record
that
data
and
submit
it
is
extremely
useful
and
we're
only
just
beginning
to
discover
how
how
effective
it
can
be.
So,
thanks
for
doing
it.
F
A
mother
of
three
kids:
that's
all.
Have
you
seen
the
tak
map
that
the
section
of
Chester's
National
Committee
Connecticut?
They
related
every
place
with
color,
whether
it
was
safe
or
not,
and
I
was
wondering.
If
probably
this
back
map
I'm
sure
covers
can
add
as
well.
Does
it
matter.
There
is
a
consistency
between
what
they
did,
which
was
by
writing
them
and
telling
them.
This
is
dangerous.
It
was
done
by
actual
they
went
over
every
single
route
and
and
what
you've
got
from
using
this
tool
because
would
be
very
good
way
of
comparison.
E
We
haven't
done
a
totally
database
comparison
of
the
agreement
between
the
two
months,
but
having
a
look
at
both
of
them
lists
there
is.
You
can
just
see
visually
that
there
is
a
lot
of
agreement
between
the
categorization
that
they
performed
and
I'm
sure
that
there
probably
will
be
some
differences
just
because
I
was
not
done
in
person.
I
was
was
done
on
the
characteristics
of
the
roadway,
and
so
what
about?
Was
it
based
on
user
experience
boots-on-the-ground
with
society?
But
it's
they
are.
We
are
singing
in
harmony
and
so.
F
Would
you
be
willing
to
make
this
presentation
to
them
as
well?
Okay,
I'll
get
them
together.
Touch
me.
The
other
thing
is
that
one
of
the
things
I've
been
working
on
is
trying
to
get
psychic
parking
areas
of
people
who
can
cycle
Park,
Drive
plant
play
and
in
cycle,
as
you
probably
know
about
receptive
things
that
we
had
you
to
have
it
once
we
get
it
as
I
hope
that
some,
if
they
were
on
the
map,
just
to
identify
webbings
are
so,
is
it
possible
to
identify
other
thing
where
we
have
the
parking
lots?
F
E
Absolutely
this
is
something
that
we
have
on.
Our
data
group
work
plan
is
to
go
a
bike
parking
app
on
that,
so
the
location
of
bike
station
is
already
known
to
some
degree,
but
to
really
quantify
that
the
separate
self
is
actually
capable
of
identifying
bike
racks.
It's
a
visual
recognition
software.
It
was
how
to
do
that.
E
So
that'll
help
us
locate
bike
parking,
the
City
of
Ottawa
also
posts
a
number
of
pieces
of
information
such
as
locations
of
repair
stands,
and
all
of
that
could
be
turned
into
an
app
to
help,
people
that
keep
parking
and
know
if
it's
covered
or
not.
If
there's
security
cameras,
if
it's
a
bit
about
sort
of
informations
available
because.
F
E
F
A
You
counsel,
so
anyone
else
before
council
lupin
and
council
Moffatt
Shizuka.
H
H
F
H
Streets
well,
I've
met
with
you
guys
on
several
occasions
and
one
of
the
things
that
I've
raised
with
you
was
the
recurring
theme
of
missing
links
in
the
suburbs,
which
is
a
big
issue
for
a
lot
of
people
don't
hear
from,
and
sometimes
it
takes
one
or
two
cycling
advocates
in
the
community
that
really
advocate
and
work
with
us
through
those
things
and
with
city
staff,
Robin,
Bennett
and
others
that
are
there
as
well,
who
helped
us
with
the
coordination
of
some
of
that.
How
have
you
found?
H
Have
you
seen
any
sort
of
progress
over
the
last
few
years
in
terms
of
some
of
those
missing
links
specifically
asking
you
know
in
areas
like
family,
Creek,
River,
Site,
south
or
Bar
Haven
I
know
there
was
a
project
that
was
recently
completed
as
well
in,
in
other
words
of
myself
and
councillor,
harden
counselor
egg
by
what
the
multi-use
pathway,
but
are
those
missing
links?
Are
we
putting
enough
money
towards
missing
links?
Are
we
improving
some
of
that
connectivity
to
help
encourage
more
and
more
people
to
make
those
tracks
into
the
urban
core?
Are.
E
E
A
We
were
able
now
to
have
a
greedy
loop
and
soon
enough
will
be
connected
to
the
multi-use
pathway
with,
because
we're
still
missing
a
small
link
and
from
there
that
this
link
is
going
to
give
us
access
to
be
able
to
go
up
to
as
good
or
down
to
magnetic
with
the
new
bike
language
just
put
on
materials.
I
know
it's
people
talking
about
matones
is
very
dangerous
and
it's
very
scalable.
But
we've
done
a
lot
of
work.
A
We
widen
the
road
we
put
a
special
bike
lane
from
those
were
almost
all
the
way
to
the
Shoppers
Drug
Mart.
Then
we
can
connect
to
councils
Norfolk,
so
we're
really
working
hard
and
making
sure
those
are
these
you're
going
to
be
able
to
identify
all
these
little
pockets
and
communities
how
we're
going
to
connect
them
together
to
that
map.
So
we
can
give
and
working
with
our
officers
to
make
sure
that
is
enough
safety
and
making
sure
that
we
can
promote
these.
For
you.
E
Yes,
absolutely
our
map
captures
the
entire
city
of
Ottawa,
which
is
a
which
is
a
huge
area
and
as
new
infrastructure
like
the
green
loop
opens,
we
update
the
map
to
reflect
that
and
a
Kokura
manager
was
angry
and
he
told
me
about
the
greatly
put
it
open
door.
What
a
great
initiative
it
wasn't
much.
She
was
enjoyment
to
be
able
to
get
out
and
get
around
the
community
and
how
much
she
was
looking
forward
to
having
it
connected
to
the
ice
good
rail
trail.
So
it's
a
job
well
done
for
the
great
cooperative
effort.
E
A
E
Sometimes
I
want
to
say
we're
having
so
much
fun
with
it
and
keep
track,
but
we
do
have
a
large
group
of
volunteers.
We
all
have
different
interests
and
so,
for
example,
I
had
a
big
role
in
taking
photos
mad
at
my
bike.
Doing
that
and
countless
hours,
because
I
just
really
loved
doing
it.
So
700
hours
of
photography
and
I
would
expect
several
tens
of
hours
of
program
and
movie
into
the
hundreds
I
wouldn't
want
I
wasn't
involved
too
much.
E
I'm
adam
arabic,
matthew
and
immigrated
we're
investing
a
lot
of
time
in
refining
the
algorithm
and
we're
still
tweaking
it.
You
know,
just
in
terms
of
how
do
we
deal
with
the
road
through
a
parking
lot.
For
example,
how
do
you
classify
that
as
a
service
road,
but
a
service
road
is
also
parallel
to
a
highway.
Those
are
very
different
kinds
of
service
roads,
so
we
had
to
figure
out
those
kinds
of
the
puzzles
to
make
them
up
as
reflective
as
we
could
of
the
road
conditions.
But
I
would
ask
to
me.
C
Hours
and
I
put
75
hundred
dollars
of
my
office
budget
into
that,
so
I'm
feeling
really
comfortable
with
the
return
on
investment
from
that
I'm,
not
sure
that
you
know
another
way
of
doing
this
would
have
yielded
the
same
kind
of
same
kind
of
results.
You
know
relying
on
those
volunteers
who
are
enthusiastic
contributors
was
a
big.
A
big
piece
of
it
and
I
would
encourage
folks
to
take
a
look
at
the
full
report
as
well.
C
There
are
case
studies
in
here
about
how
can
this
tool
be
used
to
help
build
better
routes
to
schools
that
are
routes
to
shopping
centers
by
routes
for
various
different
things?
It's
interesting,
the
close,
the
block
of
road
in
the
ward
to
connect
the
city
park
with
the
NCC
park
at
Pontiac
within
a
couple
of
days.
Maybe
that
had
been
reflected
on
your
map.
What
is
the
the
maintenance
plan?
Is
this
real-time?
Is
it
going
to
be
continually
updated?
The.
E
Map
is
is
updated
in
lifetime,
essentially
so
I
think,
as
you
mentioned,
limited,
was
closed.
I
think
the
update
is
happening
further
before
the
media
stories
were.
Basically
yes,
so
our
volunteers
are
really
enthusiastic
mappers
and
we
try
to
keep
updates
happen
continuously.
There's
a
big
street
mapping
community
here
I
probably
wouldn't
be
most
active
in
Canada
absolutely,
and
we
take
advantage
of
that
absolutely
so.
C
We
you
know
my
final
point
on
what
was
done
here
was
you
know,
I'd
love,
all
of
us
to
encourage
these
kind
of
as
David
called
it
to
citizen
science
or
crowdsourcing
type
of
efforts
to
be
put
into
place
in
the
course
of
this
term
of
Council
I've
put
in
place,
the
I'd
like
I,
buy
act
which
allows
people
to
enter
how
much
they
purchase
when
they're
shopping
some
great
care
outsource
data.
They're.
All
the
data
is
open.
C
We
can
leverage
volunteers
to
create
a
lot
of
the
data
that
we
need
to
make
better
policy
choices,
and
we
can
do
it
for
a
lot
less
money
to
the
taxpayer
by
leveraging
the
very
enthusiastic
contributions
that
residents
are
making
so
I
I
do
appreciate
the
work
you
do
on
this
I,
encourage
of
them
to
take
a
look
at
the
the
report
that
you
furnish
to
me
and
which
is
attached
to
where
to
this
item.
For
for
examples
of
how
it
can
be
used
to
make
better
policy
and
I,
thank
you
very
much
other
thank.
E
A
F
You
everyone
for
the
opportunity
to
sit
with
you
today
and
to
speak
about
this
project
which,
as
you
know
well
as
you
don't
know,
but
as
councillor
Dean's
and
I
would
know
back
in
2000,
and
since
we
were
having
a
discussion
that
was
very
different.
So
this
is
almost
like
back
to
the
future,
thanks
to
the
mayor
and
council
for
supporting
the
approval
of
funds
to
initiate
the
environment
assessment
for
this
critical
transportation
link.
F
As
the
study
unfolds
of
the
reveal
how
desperate
bar
Haven
is
for
transportation
infrastructure
both
to
and
from
bar
Haven,
but
also
within
bar
Haven.
We
need
to
type
that
in
the
LRT,
but
also
other
key
cycling
and
pedestrian
facilities,
along
with
roads,
interceptions
and
their
changes.
Those
who
live,
work
and
play
in
bar
Haven
are
all
very
excited
to
see
this
environmental
assessments
get
underway
and,
as
bar
Haven
continues
to
grow.
F
We
know
that
of
all
the
city's
growth
approximately
one
third
took
place
in
bar
Haven
Haven
is
now
about
9,000
people,
a
large
Ontario
city,
major
retailers
like
Costco,
Canadian,
Tire,
Walmart,
and
so
many
are
all
here
serving
the
community.
The
headquarters
for
RCMP
and
Tomlinson
have
located
here
and
more
are
to
come.
There
are
in
the
order
of
15,000
to
20,000
new
homes
that
can
be
built
in
bar
havens,
in
the
existing
urban
boundary
in
thousand,
which
are
expected
in
the
town
centre
alone.
F
And
of
course,
we
have
challenges,
transit
and
southwest
transit
way,
first
and
foremost,
I'm
very
happy
that
this
study
will
dovetail
with
the
great
separations
environmental
assessment,
a
key
priority
for
this
city
of
through
the
work
that
we've
done
with
via
and
Transport
Canada
to
to
make
Falco
station
safe,
as
well
as
all
the
rail
crossings,
including
the
trans
away
and
the
the
road
networks
of
Littleton
fallow
field
between
the
sports
parks
and
baseline
station
bus.
Only
lanes
have
worked
well,
but
it's
time
to
look
at
a
third
grade
separated
facility.
F
The
barre
human
BIA
has
a
workshop
to
look
at
how
the
bar
here
in
town
centre
will
develop
over
the
next
several
years.
If
50
percent
of
the
peak
power
trips
use
transit,
and
we
believe
that
that
is
possible,
that
would
be
about
7,000
new
riders
in
the
mornings
and
afternoons
on
the
LRT.
Unfortunately,
the
study
area
stops
at
the
town
centre
because
there
are
thousands
of
new
homes
were
built
on
either
side
of
new
Green
Bank
Road.
F
That
could
benefit
from
the
LRT
by
the
way
the
existing
95
week,
sofa
for
Jacque
River
are
terrible
in
need.
Fixing
and
I
want
to
quote
personally
mr.
man
Kony
and
his
team
for
doing
what
they
are
trying
to
do
on
a
daily
basis
to
help
that
out
with
regard
to
cars,
bikes
and
pedestrians,
note
to
city
staff
and
well.
F
Thank
you
baby
for
the
work
you're
doing
this
when
you
dive
into
how
much
is
going
on
and
bar
here
and
you're,
going
to
be
shocked
and
I
know
that
you
attended
a
meeting
back
in
February
I
think
it
was,
and
you
took
the
opportunity
to
drive
in
the
dark
down
Green
Bank
Road
and
you
were
quite
surprised
even
without
Archie
we're
still
going
to
see
big
demands
wanting
to
get
across
the
fallow
fields,
green
lines,
Green
Bank
Road
needs
to
be
widened.
When
strand
who
drive
opens
there
will
be
over
capacity.
F
F
This
IRT,
along
with
other
transportation
infrastructure,
will
need
to
be
included.
So
thanks
to
all
of
you
for
your
time
and
if
I
can
speak
for
all
of
our
Haven
and
my
part
of
our
Haven
anyway,
the
entire
community
is
looking
forward
to
studying
and
working
with
the
city
on
this
important
study.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
C
You
very
much
I'm
just
going
to
jump
in
very
briefly
here
and
interrupt
the
meeting
shortly.
I've
got
to
run
back
down
to
a
tornado
relief
meeting,
but
it's
one
take
this
opportunity.
Is
the
chair
of
this
committee
at
persona
thank
the
vice
chair
for
jumping
in
at
the
last
second,
and
in
being
wonderful
javac
on
your
twitter.
C
But
I
just
I
just
wanted
to
I
just
want
to
thank
each
and
every
one
of
the
of
the
committee
members
over
the
last
four
years.
I
think
we've
done
some
some
amazing
work.
We've
made
a
lot
of
progress
on
the
LRT
file.
We've
made
a
lot
of
progress
on
cycling,
made
a
lot
of
progress,
I'm
moving
towards
a
vision,
zero
approach
for
the
city.
We
have
a
lot
of
work
to
do
going
to
next
term,
with
the
introduction
of
photo
radar.
C
We'd
have
a
big
report
coming
back
on
on
vision,
zero
and
what
principles
can
be
applied
in
the
in
the
city,
but
again
I
would
be
remiss
if
I
hadn't
run
other
this
media
that
we
need
to
come
to
this
meeting.
To
say
thank
you
to
all
of
you
will
come
out
done
good
hard
work
on
these
files
and
representing
your
constituents
and
all
of
the
city
Ferrier
blade
on
all
these
very
difficult
transportation
files
and
snow
piles
and
asphalt
files
and
everything
else
that
falls
into
this
committee.
C
So
again,
I'm
going
to
turn
it
back
over
to
to
the
vice-chair.
But
again,
thank
you
so
much
and
this
case
without
saying
this
is
the
last
meeting
of
this
committee
for
this
term.
They
will
not
in
November
and
thank
you
for
letting
interrupted
their
preeminent.
Cats
will
Hager
and
that's
when
back
over
to
Council
McKay,
but
again
very
much
thanks
to
all
of
you.
A
H
You
vice
chair
in
question,
I
know
we're
looking
at
basically
electrifying
the
southwest
Rams
away
and
I
can
tell
you
obviously
having
just
under
half
a
bar,
even
in
my
ward,
there's,
not
a
single
person
who
doesn't
raise
this
issue,
obviously,
because
many
obviously
feel
that
they
got
the
short
end
of
a
steak
from
the
cancellation
of
north
south
and
we've
talked
about
this
VB
many
times
over
the
last
four
years
with
regards
to
having
that
loop
and
protecting
the
east-west
connectivity
from
Riverside
south
and
the
corridor
there.
So
what?
Where
is
that?
D
And
through
uture
that
is
steering
a
transportation
master
plan,
we
have
a
record
or
protected.
It
is
a
BRT
connection
rather
than
an
LRT
connection,
and
so
it's
an
issue
of
prioritizing.
So
this
is
and
it
requires
funding
for
implementation,
but
the
facility,
the
corridor.
Everything
has
been
identified.
So
that's
the
next
step
is
going
through.
What
is
the
next
stage
in
our
rapid
transit
in
terms
of
funding
for
time
for
implementation,
so.
H
Why
wouldn't
we
as
part
of
the
scope
of
this
environmental
assessment,
they'll,
also
look
at
that
east-west
corridor
to
ultimately
when
they
also
connect
the
original
plan
over
from
River
Site
south
to
bar?
Even
as
part
of
this
is
it?
Does
it
complicated
the
terms
of
reference
for
the
environmental
assessment
like
how
we
throw
that
in
there.
D
D
H
Yeah
I
mean
I
think
the
ultimate
solution,
obviously
is,
is
that
original
one
and
we
do
have
that
east-west
connectivity,
I,
don't
know
when
that's
going
to
happen,
but
that
certainly
you
know,
we've
had
this
discussion.
I
know
we
protected
the
transit
corridor.
Obviously,
in
the
recent
updates
of
the
Riverside
south
community
design
plan
and,
ultimately
you
know
I
think
that's
the
dream
for
everyone
there
and
many
people
who
moved
there.
Obviously
that
expected
the
trains
to
be
running
there
now.
H
So
you
know,
obviously
many
people
in
bar
even
want
the
Train
there,
but
I
think
the
ultimate
solution,
as
well
as
having
that
east-west
connectivity.
That
was
originally
envisioned
when
those
communities
were
built
and
developed
and
as
a
result
of
that
cancellation,
I
think
many
of
the
residents
and
constituents
are
suffering
traffic
wise
as
a
result
of
that
so
I
think
that
should
be
our
ultimate
vision
and
ultimate
goal
and
that's
going
to
be
the
most
efficient
and
effective
way
of
fixing
the
ridership
and
then
the
reliability
issues
there.
H
G
G
G
That's
now
be
named
the
flora
footbridge
we're
having
that
shovel
ready
when
infrastructure
money
became,
though
available
was
absolutely
critical,
because
there
was
time
here
we
are
thanks
for
money,
not
quite
as
simple
as
that,
but
it's
important
when
we
know
these
projects
are
key
to
our
to
our
network
to
to
get
them
ready
for
funding,
because
we
all
know
can't
be
funded
purely
on
the
municipal
tax
base.
So,
finally,
I
think
my
point
is
just
in
terms
of
this
is
a
message:
I
guess
for
us
for
everyone.
You
know
seeking
a
position
on
Council.
G
It's
a
reminder
that
we
are
a
big
city
that
is
amalgamated
and
some
people
may
still
want
to
fight
the
old
battle
of
amalgamation.
Goodness
knows
in
you
know
in
in
central
words,
we
often
hear
downsides
of
amalgamation,
but
you
can't
do
good
transportation
planning
in
sections
in
you
know,
by
Ward,
by
areas
of
the
city,
good
transportation
planning
is
region-wide
and
I
certainly
am
pleased
to
play
my
part
in
bringing
good
transit.
G
Yes
sure,
there's
a
self-interest
as
well,
but
in
bringing
good
transit
out
to
other
parts
of
the
city
and
and
so
I
think
this
is
an
example
of
being
ready
for
that
next
next
stage,
some
might
say
it
should
have
been
done
earlier.
We
know
the
history
behind
that,
but
I'm
pleased
to
support
moving
forward
on
this
thanks.
A
A
This
number
hello
status
update
counts
if
they
had
two
questions
for
Public
Works
staff
on
parking
and
I,
see
Scott
call
doors
here.
B
Yes,
miss
Veronica
Zonta.
The
the
situation
is
that
we've
highlighted
two
staff
and
a
bass
staff
to
review
different
models
in
terms
of
parking
authority.
I
believe
that
that
is
should
be
in
line
with
governance
review
of
council,
because
it's
a
significant
decision
and
discussion
and
right
now,
I'm,
seeing
the
proposed
IPD
timeframe
missing
that
window.
So
I
wonder
if
we
can
review
in
and
give
a
direction
to
staff
to
ensure
that
it's
in
line
with
our
governance
at
period.
C
We're
currently
underway
with
a
refresh
of
our
music
apartment
management
strategy.
We
are
first
and
foremost
looking
at
the
strategy
as
a
whole
to
ensure
that
its
current
and
I
was
originally
approved
by
council
in
2009.
So
sometimes
as
as
past,
following
that
and
we've
done
some
great
work
and
there's
been
some
consultations
fed
into
that
to
this
point.
But
there's
still
some
work
left
to
do
and
some
broader
consultation
to
occur
all
and
come
out.
C
We
will
be
once
we
set
our
mandate
and
confirm
that
we
will
be
undertaking
in
the
governance
review,
as
well
as
the
development
of
a
by
part
and
strategy,
and
all
that
is
intended
to
roll
together
and
the
date
that
we
have
provided
to.
This
point
is
September
2019
in
order
to
ensure
and
allow
for
the
an
appropriate
amount
of
consultation
of
Helium
to
that
process.
C
D
B
I,
don't
know,
stop
comment
and
committee's
objective,
because
this
is
something
we've
talked
about
at
committee
now
well
over
this
term.
If
it's
not
about
a
parking
review
it
so
that
the
way
we
can
structure
parking
and
and
bring
a
new
model
can
be
done
so
I
think
there's
the
review
that
stuff
undertaking
relates
to
existing
operations
and
should
we'll
consider
other
models
but
I.
Think
from
the
committee
standpoint.
There's
no
better
time
to
do
so
than
than
governance,
so
I'm
wondering
if
we
can
get
a
party
from
the
clerk's
as
to
procedurally.
D
B
To
call
the
reality
is
this
committee
and
council:
I:
am
the
new
to
early
in
the
new
term
will
need
to
make
a
strategic
direction
as
to
how
do
we
want
parking
to
be
managed
in
the
city,
and
the
challenge
is
if
we
let
staff
do
all
of
their
work.
We
have
no
we're
not
giving
a
direction
as
to
the
model
that
council
wishes
to
embark
on.
So
in
my
mind,
it's
less
so
of
the
the
operational
work
that
that
that
staff
would
have
to
do
it
surveyed.
B
This
committee
and
council
setting
a
direction
and
I'm
by
the
timeline,
that's
provided.
We
are
way
too
advanced,
maybe
way
to
advance
of
a
new
term
to
see
a
result
and
a
shift
in
another
time
which
things
buzz
back
to
visit.
This
initially
came
up
in
my
first
term,
which
was
the
for
2014
staff,
carry
through
and
said
yeah
in
2014
between
2013
and
2018.
We
are
going
to
review
it.
Now
we
find
ourselves
pushed
into
the
almost
a
midpoint
of
the
next
term.
It's.
This
is
like
six
years
more
than
what
was
anticipated.
D
It
would
be
appropriate,
be
happy
to
take
this
direction
back
to
the
city,
clerk
and
solicitor
and
mr.
Caldwell
back
to
the
general
manager
a
direction
to
review.
What
in
scope
of
information
could
be
provided
to
members
of
council
with
the
governance
report
at
this
time,
I'm
not
aware
of
the
scope
of
work
that
has
been
done
and
would
be
required
and
whether
that
is
achievable
in
that
timeline.
But.
B
I
believe
that
the
scope
of
work
is
walking
us
through
this
channel
of
2019,
which
I
actually
don't
believe,
is
needed.
I
think
there
are
best
practices
across
the
country
and
even
in
Nanterre
the
settings
that
we
could
just
rely
on
and
and
proceed
so
I'm
fine
with
what
you're
saying
I
just
this
is
more
of
a
committee
power
versus
the
bureaucracy.
Timelines
like
I.
Think
if
committee
sets
the
tone
of
to
what
the
objectives
is
then
great
going
implement
it
great
I.
B
D
A
If
I
have,
if
I
understand
you
correctly,
what
you
want
to
ensure
is
that
as
we're
looking
at
governance,
we're
considering
or
we're
saying,
consider
all
models
think
of
think
through
what
we're
doing
on
parking
and
all
models.
At
the
same
time,
what
we
want
to
do
is
wait,
entertain,
19,
full
report
to
come
back
to
say
this
is
what's
recommended
and
we've
not
looked
at
other
models
for
parking.
Exactly.
Is
that
correct,
but
I.
B
A
C
Sorry,
just
to
clarify
I
should
to
back
up.
Maybe
the
process
that
we
are
working
through
right
now
is
to
update
the
strategy
and
update
our
mandate
so
that,
when
it
comes
time
to
undertake
our
governance
review
were
considering
all
options
and,
as
always,
being
the
what
was
anticipated.
But
we're
going
to
evaluate
those
options
based
on
our
confirmed
mandate
that
we're
trying
to
establish
in
the
process
of
walking
through
right
now,
rather
than
picking
out
governance
model
and
then
and
then
finalize
a
firm
up,
an
update.
B
Hey
I
want
that
I
want
the
memo
back,
the
fornix
Council
on
the
issue,
because
we're
walking
down
the
rabbit
hole
here.
If
we,
if
we
go
and
have
a
new
model,
the
new
model
we'll
have
to
set
out
a
new
mandate
which
will
come
back
to
council
anyway,
so
I
know
offence
carpet.
I,
don't
agree
that
we
should
do
this.
B
A
D
Vice
chair
and
generally
the
council
council,
approve,
motions
and
bodies
and
directions
process
provides
that
we're
a
directional
inquiry
cannot
be
undertaken
within
existing
resources
within
a
reason
out
of
time,
council
would
require
motion
to
direct
that
work.
So
at
this
point
in
time,
we
need
to
review
that
with
the
department
and
the
time
frames
in
which
they
can
undertake
it
and
if
so,
directly,
can
absolutely
undertake
to
provide
information
before
council
next
week
on
the
scope
of
that
now,.
B
B
B
A
D
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
The
public
transit
infrastructure
phone
or
Peters
was
used
to
accelerate
and
support
the
citizen
basements
in
the
a-train
Federation
known
in
stage
two
lo2
and
in
civilized
cycling
and
pedestrian
initiatives
with
the
day
of
enhancing
connectivity
to
our
transit
system.
As
part
of
this
fund,
a
portion
of
the
sidewalks
in
South
Gate
Road,
were
rehabilitated
to
better
connect
residents
to
nearby
transit
stops.
Unfortunately,
the
sidewalk
rehab
and
a
mid
block
and
residence
on
South
Gate
Road
are
disappointed,
but
half
the
streets
sidewalks
remain
in
poor
condition.
D
It
seems
amazing,
though,
that
staff
did
not
have
the
flexibility
to
expand.
The
scope
of
the
project
to
include
include
the
1
block
of
remaining
sidewalk.
In
order
to
avoid
this
in
future
can
start.
Please
review
the
policy
use
when
planning
Peterik
projects
or
similar
programs
to
ensure
that
we
are
using
a
common
sense
approach
for
sidewalk
rehabilitation
projects.
A
Thank
you
and
I
have
one
as
well
and
like
transportation
services
staff
to
report
back
on
strategies
that
can
be
used
in
the
where
this
consistently
shown
that
drivers
are
blocking
private
driveways
and
what
can
be
done
in
terms
of
signage
and
pavement
markings
to
deter
drivers
from
doing
this.
What
are
the
best
practices
in
other
cities
to
discourage
blocking
of
driveways,
and
has
the
city
looked
at
increasing
the
fine
for
parking
and
blocking
a
driveway
which
is
currently
set
at
$70
in
rhetoric
ways?
Other
business
a
gentleman?
