210899 An Ordinance amending Chapter 14 1000 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Historic Preservation,” to establish a temporary demolition moratorium with respect to properties in the area bounded by Henry Avenue, Roxborough Avenue, Silverwood Street, and Fountain Street; all under certain terms and conditions.
210922 An Ordinance to amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Fountain Street, Umbria Street, Paoli Avenue, Ridge Avenue, Livezey Street, Valley Avenue, and Henry Avenue.
210926 An Ordinance to amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Crispin Street, Willits Road, Academy Road, and Frankford Avenue.

known

the
purpose
of
removal
of
an
entire
structure.

of
this
moratorium
is
to
allow
for
the
application
of
the
victorian
roxborough
historic
district.
The
council
office
has
been
working
directly
with
the
historical
commission
on
this
request.
The
planning
commission
supports
the
work
of
the
historical
commission
and
the
preservation
of
neighborhoods
demolition
moratoriums
can
disrupt
the
commission's
ability
to
address
other
historic
preservation
efforts
that
should
take
priority
by
creating
a
moratorium.
It
pulls
resources
away
from
current
projects
and
moves
this
area
to
the
top
of
the
priority
list
for
designation.

area
similar
to
other
areas
in
philadelphia
has
been
brought
up
where
victorian
homes
used
to
be
and
they've
demolished
them,
sometimes
for
things
as
as
little
as
a
wendy's,
and
sometimes
as
much
for
multi-unit
single
family
houses,
where
it
was
a
single
before
now
they're

homes.

to
traffic
congestion.

the
increased
density
has

these

the

neighborhood
commercial
area
overlay
to
create
a
long-term
solution
for

210926
amends
the
philadelphia
zoning
maps
by
changing
the
zoning
designation
of
land
located
within
the
area
bounded
by
crispin
street
willets
road
academy,
road
and
frankfurt
avenue.
The
bill
will
correctively
rezone
the
existing
residential
use
along
penny
pack
street
from
ca2,
auto
oriented
commercial
to
our
rm2
residential
mixed
use.
Zoning

will
change
the
zoning
designations
of
an
existing
shopping
center
from
ca2
and
rsa2
residential
single
family
attached.
The
proposed
zoning
for
the
commercial
area
will
remove
the
split
zoning
from

property
and
have

entire
area

designation
for
the
shopping
center.
The
proposed
bill
advances
the
far
northeast
district
plan,
zoning
recommendations
serving
as
a
corrective
zoning
of
the
property
and
will
match
the
current
land
uses
within
the
bounded
area.
