a
one
percent
construction
impact
tax
designed
to
generate
400
million
dollars
in
new
revenue
council
president
darrell
clark
and
other
community
advocates
said
the
revenue
will
fund
city-wide
investments
in
affordable
housing,
poverty
reduction
and
job
creation.
The
tax
will
be
imposed
on
the
privilege
to
build
any
structure
for
which
a
building
permit
is
required.
Today's
announcement
took
place
in
a
planned,

housing
project
in
north
philadelphia.
