Philadelphia City Council members Darrell L. Clarke (5th District), Kenyatta Johnson (2nd District) and Curtis Jones, Jr. (4th District) are are informing the public that the Philadelphia District Attorney is enforcing an ordinance that requires gun owners to report lost or stolen firearms to the Police.

If your firearm is lost or stolen, you could be held responsible for how these missing firearms are used — even if by someone else. Be a responsible citizen — or at least a self-interested one — and report any lost or stolen firearms you are aware of right away.
