state
of
tennessee
now
in

Will
the

please

the

in
the

please
stand
and
remain
standing
through
the

representative
zachary
will
serve
as
chaplain
of
the
day
representative
zachary.
B
Let's
pray
father
god
we
love
you,
lord!
Thank
you
for
loving
us.
Thank
you
for
this
day,
you've
given
us
lord,
this
is
the
day
you've
given
us
rejoice,
and
we
will
rejoice
and
be
glad
in
it.
God,
lord,
thank
you
for
the
opportunity
you've
given
us
to
serve
what
an
awesome
responsibility.
It
is.
I
pray
lord,
that
you
would
just
grant
us
wisdom,
discernment,
understanding
and
insight
beyond
our
capabilities
to
represent
our
people
at
home,
to
represent
tennessee
and
as
well
and
do
the
best
job
we
possibly
can.
B
Lord
god,
just
supernaturally
equip
us
with
leadership.
I
pray
that
your
favor
continues
to
shine
upon
our
state.
I
thank
you
for
your
goodness
and
your
mercy.
Thank
you
for
the
salvation
we
have
through
your
son,
jesus
christ.
Lord.
We
love
you
and
pray
for
your
blessing
over
the
rest
of
this
day.
In
your
name,
amen,
representative,.
A
A
D
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
I
just
wanted
to
tell
everyone
today
is
my
predecessor
and
everyone's
friend,
jim
coley's
birthday,
and
I
just
want
to
get
everyone
stand
up
and
give
them
a
clap
and
wish
them
a
happy
birthday.
E
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
One
of
our
colleagues
is
not
here
today
and
his
mother
is,
I
think,
in
her
final
days,
representative
bo
mitchell.
So
if
everybody
could
just
keep
representing
mitchell
and
his
family
in
your
prayers,
we
would
appreciate
it
as
they
go
through
these
these
struggling
times.
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
F
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
If
I
could
get
everybody's
attention,
I
see
my
colleague
this
morning.
Chris
hurt
is
not
here,
but
he
and
I
share
two
counties
that
are
joining
harderman
and
haywood,
and
on
last
week
the
high
school
basketball
coach
for
brownsville
tennessee
was
found
d.o.a,
and
I
know
that
if
he
was
here,
he
would
probably
say
something
about
it,
but
because
our
church
is
in
his
district.
I
wanted
us
to
take
a
few
moments
to
offer
a
silent
prayer
for
coach
boyd
who
passed
away,
certainly
on
last
week.
G
Thank
you,
mr
speaker,
that
all
resolutions,
probably
file
being
be
introduced
pursuant
to
rule
number
17
in
place
of
the
consent
calendar
refer
to
the
appropriate
standing
committee.

If
the
black
caucus
members
will
come
up
to
the
well,
please-
and
I
don't
know
if
chairman
hardaway
stepped
out
or
not,
but
oh
there
he
is
yeah
chairman
hardaway,
you
mind
joining.
J
You,
mr
speaker,
mr
speaker,
I
just
want
to
take
this
opportunity
to
give
the
flowers
to
our
colleague,
while
he's
here
not
saying
that
you're
going
anywhere
anytime
soon,
chairman
hardaway,
but
but
I
think
it's
important
that
we
recognize
those
individuals
that
do
good
work
and
that
are
passionate
about
the
work
that
they
do
and-
and
I
just
wanted
him
to
know.
As
you
know,
the
the
chairman
that
follows
behind
him-
that
I
truly
appreciate
not
just
myself
but
all
of
us.
J
A
A
J
You,
mr
speaker,
do
you
mind
if
we
allow
chairman
hardaway
like
one
minute
to
say
something
you.

Thank
you,
mr

Members.
If
I
can
have
your
attention
for
just
a
moment,
there's
been
several
questions.
Folks
have
asked:
will
we
be
here
in
this
chamber
on
monday?
This
resolution
answers
that
question.
The
answer
is
no.
We
will
not
be
in
the
chamber
on
monday
and
mr
clerk,
I
believe
we
will
return
to
the
chamber
for
a
session
on
wednesday
at
9am
will
be
the
adjournment
motion
later
on.
G
A
M
Thank
you,
mr
chair.
I'm
sorry,
mr
speaker,
in
light
of
the
previous
resolution.
This
may
sound
redundant,
but
it
is
required
members.
The
house
government
operations
committee
will
not
meet
next
week.
Our
meeting
day
is
normally
on
monday,
we're
not
going
to
be
in
the
chamber,
so
we're
not
going
to
come
in
for
a
committee
meeting
either.
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Thank.
N
L
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
I
just
want
to
remind
her.
The
capitals
closet
is
coming
up,
so
if
you
can
go
home
and
have
any
female
clothing,
please
bring
them
back
with
you
and
drop
them
off
at
my
office.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
J
Thank
you,
mr
chair,
just
remind
you
that,
first
of
all,
let
me
thank
everyone
that
have
dropped
off
ties
for
ties
for
turns.
I
appreciate
the
donation,
just
a
reminder:
tai's
returns,
you
can
leave
ties
here
at
my
desk
store.
You
can
bring
donated
ties
to
419..
We
appreciate
all
of
your
support.
Thank
you
again.
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Mr
speaker,
I'm
looking
for
your
tai
also.
M
Thank
you,
mr
speaker,
members.
I'd
like
to
take
a
moment
here.
If
you'd
all
reflect
with
me,
we
are.
We
need
to
welcome
two
coaches
to
the
state
of
tennessee
josh
hypel,
the
new
head
football
coach
at
the
university
of
tennessee
and
clark
lee
vanderbilt
university.
Let's
give
him
a
big,
warm
welcome
and
say:
let's
go.
L
M
O
Thank
you,
speaker
speaker.
We
lost
a
former
school
teacher,
jay
gill,
there's
an
oak
there's,
an
old
adage
that
says
people
don't
remember
what
you
said,
but
they'll
remember
how
you
made
them
feel.
I
remember
jay
gill,
when
I
was
a
kid
just
walking
to
school.
He
was
a
school
bus
driver,
he'd,
always
smile
and
wave,
and
I
just
want
to
send
my
condolences
to
his
brothers,
joe
gill
and
harry
gill,
sorry
for
your
loss.
