uh Welcome to uh meeting 17 of the toronto east york community council, I've confirmed that we have quorum. This is a special meeting of the community council to consider only one item which is to enact a bylaw.

This meeting is being held using the city's web tech, webex technology with members and staff connecting by video conference or calling in because we are meeting remotely. We ask your patients with any delays or technical issues. Members of the public can observe the meeting on youtube.

When asked when we're voting, I ask that members make sure that your video is turned on. You raise your hand to indicate your vote. The chair and members gratefully acknowledge that toronto east york community council meets on the traditional territory of many nations, including the mississaugas of the credit, the anishinaabeg, the chippewa, the haudenosaunee and the wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse first diverse first nations inuit and metis people. We also acknowledge that toronto is covered by treaty 13 of the mississaugas of the credit.
