We've
also
been
cleaning
up
a
lot
of
duplicate
accounts,
and
then
we
were
able
to
accurately
divide
Patron
records
between
true
Englewood
residents
and
those
outside
of
England.
So
the
current
number
of
Englewood
patrons
with
library
cards
is
just
over
12
000
and
our
total
registered
patients
is
20
26
768.,
that
is,
that
total
is
still
a
little
inflated
because
we
are
continuing
to
review
the
duplicate
accounts.

The
issue
we
discovered
is
that
the
online
self-registration
that
is
available
does
not
prohibit
an
individual
from
signing
up
for
multiple
accounts
and
what
this
ending
of
happening,
predominantly
is
people
will
sign
up
for
an
account.
They
get
a
temporary
number.
It's
been
for
three
months
when
it
expires,
they
sign
up
for
another
one.
Then
they
sign
up
for
another
one.

That
is
predominantly
like
the
goal
of
doing
the
self-registration,
so
we're
hoping
that
that's
going
to
kind
of
crack
down
on
that,
then
we'll
be
able
to
maintain
more
accurate,
Patron
records
and
I.
Think
that
there's
been
some
reading
going
on
and
deselecting
materials
and
that's
just
kind
of
a
good
ebb
and
flow
of
collection
management.
Because
you
want
to
make
room
for
the
new
stuff.

We
did
rearrange
quite
a
bit
while
we
were
closed
and
I
think
that
led
to
some
older
items
being
withdrawn
to
the
collection,
and
we
really
got
rid
of
a
lot
of
our
like
physical
copy
reference
materials,
because
a
lot
of
that
stuff
really
is
more
available
online,
especially
when
it's
more
up
to
date
and
stuff
like
that.
So
that's
was
the
dip
in
the
collection
and
then
under
the
circulation
area.

wanted
to
point
out
the
culture
past
use
so
March.

was
kind
of
like
mid-march
that
we
really
started
having
the
culture
passes
live,
so
we
did
have
18
separate
checkouts
of
various
culture
passes.
It
was
the
I
thought.

was
gonna,
remember,
but
I
don't
I
know
this
is

billion
in
two
other
locations
were
the
three
that
were
used,
so
we're
excited
to
see
that
number
continue
to
increase,
especially
as
we
get
into

warmer
months
and
people
are
going

be

everything

get
pretty

like

moving
steadily
along

children's

teens
programs,
adult
programs
that
were
kind
of
lower
coming
back

reopening,

we're

trying

read
evaluating
what
programs
to
offer
for
adults,
because
we
really
want
to
offer
things.
People
want
to
okay,
so
there's
been
a
few
things
that
we're
kind
of
cutting
back
that
you
know.

We
did
not
have
too
many
incidents
for
March.
There
were
two
people
excluded,
one
for
drug
use
in
the
second
floor,
bathroom
that
came
down
to
the
library
and
won
for
pornography.
Doing
computers,
Facebook
system
alert
it
wasn't.
It
was
literally
the
second
day
we
were
so
excited,
I,
don't
know
what
we'll
do
exactly.

The
second
day
the
bathrooms
were
open,
but
the
fact
that
this
individual
was
discovered
in
the
second
floor.
Bathrooms
was
100
because
of
the
additional
security
at
Red,
because
they
were
the
ones
that
found
him,
and
then
he
came
downstairs
and
kind
of
snuck
into
the
library,
but
they
can't
even
talk
to
TJ
TJ
and
so
like
the
whole
thing
was
able
to
be
taken
care
of,
and
the
other
thing
that's
interesting
about.
It
is
that
the
exclusion
for
that
individual
is
for
120
days
because
they
have
been
previously
excluded.

we're
now
getting
to
the
point
where
we're
one
year
in
of
this
process
that
the
city
attorney's
office
developed
last
year
around
this
time.
So
we're
able
to
see
are
we
having
repeat
problems
with
people
who've
been
excluded
before,
because
if
they
have
prior
solutions,
they
can
be
excluded
for
a
loan.

permanent
the
only
real
long-term
exclusion
we
have
right
now
is
for

two
years,
starting
in
late
October,
and
that
was
actually
kind

overrides

it

issued
by
the
Arapahoe
County
District
Court

outside
entity

not
necessarily
the
best

volunteer
week

Wednesday

small

keep
defining
the
volunteer
tasks
and
developing
a
training
process,

our
plan
is
to
do
a
monthly
volunteer
orientation
and
so
the
first
one
will
be
Friday,
May,
26th
and
then
going
forward.
It'll
be
the
last
Friday
every
month.

everyone's

it

we
have
so
few

meetings

cultural
arts
passes

that
this
isn't
like
almost
complete,
but
we
currently
have
eight
institutions
now
live
on
the
library
website.
With
that
you
can
reserve
culture
passes
for,
and
then
we
have
at
least
two,
but
maybe

three
more
that
are
in
the
works
right
now,
because
we're
just
in
various
stages
of
completing
the
contracts
and
purchasing
the
memberships
and
getting
the
details
that
we
need
to
put
on
our
site.
And
then
promotional
materials
have
been
created
by
Communications
and
so
far
we've
put
something
in
the
summer.

guide
there's
going
to
be
a
little
blurb
and
we
do
have
something
in
our
internal
monthly
newsletter
to
promote
it
to
staff,
and
then
the
week
of
the
23rd
is
National
Library
week
and
that's
when
we'll
be
like
fully
promoting
that
kind
of
out
to
the
community
more
strongly
with
social
media
and
email
stuff
like
that.
So
we're
excited
about
that
because
we
were
hoping
we'd
have
all
of
our
stuff
by
the
end
of
April,
but
I'm
not
sure
they
will
be.

I
mentioned
this
last
month
that
we
wanted
to
do
the
email
or
the
library
card,
like
automatic
library
card
for
all
Englewood
students
with
their
student
IDs,
so
we'll
be
working
with
Marmot
to
figure
that
out
and
Kimberly
and
I
recently
had
a
discussion,
and
she
said
right
before
kobit.
This
was
like
in
the
works,
but
then
kind
of
covid
just
derailed
everybody's
attention,
and
so
it
kind
of
fell
out
of
Wayside.

she
was,

know,
reassuring
me
that
environment
has
done
this
with
other
libraries
and
they
knew
that
we
wanted
to
do
it
so
it'll,
just
kind
of
be
picking
up
the
threat
where
it
got
left
off
so
we'll
see
what
we

to
do
with
that,
and
then
you
know,
Joanna
will
help
me
coordinate
with
the
IT
staff
at
the
schools
to
figure
out
how
we'll
kind
of
keep
things
updated
for
student
access
and
so
I've
worked.

meeting

one
of
our
part-timers
from
last
year,
resigned
right
before
Ruby
opened.
She
had
sort
of
like
kind
of
a
once

lifetime
opportunity

can't
remember
exactly
what
she's
doing
and
then
one
of
our
recent
new
hires
just
has
had
some
personal

issues
that
are
being

comfortable
providing
training

instruction

just

they
know
what
they
need
to
know,
but
they're
not
really
comfortable
in
parting,
their
knowledge

somebody
else,

we
have
found
that

forcing

doesn't
really
yield
good
results.
So
having
people
who
are
interested
in
doing
that
and
willing
to
do,
it
is
going
to
be
a
lot
better.

the
last
part
is
the
library
of
marketing,
so
Carrie,
Watson
and
Barnett
are
I,
think
that
they
just
concluded
it
last
week
or
it
might
be.
This
Thursday
they've
been
doing
a
library,
marketing
series
through
Library
journal
online
and
so
they're.
Wrapping
up
that
training
I
mean
they've,
already
been
utilizing,
some
of
the
things
they've
learned
through
the
training
in
their
daily
work
and
how
they
are
organizing
certain
projects
and
then
Communications
I've
been
working
a
lot
with
them
on
promoting
stuff
for
the
library
which
I
think
has
been
really
great.

Because
a
lot
of
the
staff
were
like
it's
gonna,
be
crazy
and
it
wasn't
and
I
knew
it
wouldn't
be,
but
it
was
fine.
So
it
was
just
like
a
slow
trickle
back
and
like
just
I,

Word
of
Mouth
spread
to
some
of
our
regular
patrons
and
they
slowly
started
coming
back
and
we
didn't
have
the
bathrooms
obviously
right
away
and
we
only
opened
the
bathrooms.

Our
new
process
is
to
notify
people
that
they
just
have
to
sign
on
a
badge
to
ask
access
the
bathroom,
and
so
they
go
to
the
library
security
desk
and
give
their
name
to
the
security
person
or
the
you
know.
The
investigating
person
in
charge,
if
they're,
covering
and
then
they
receive
a
badge,
looks
very
similar
to
like
our
employee
badges.
But
it
says
Library
restroom
only
and
all
it
can
do
is
Buzz
them
into
those
restrooms,
and
then
they
return
it.
And
we
time
in.

The
study
room
procedures
has
not
really
much
pushback.
There's
been
more
there's
one
individual
in
particular,
who
has
been
complaining
about
having
to
give
his
name
and
email
address
for
the
sign
up
thing,
but
like
that's
what
the
form
asks
for
this
is
the
information
we
need.
If
you
want
to
reserve
the
study
room
like
insistable
as
that,
but
he
I
think
has
some
other
things
going
on
that
are
making
him
a
little
bit
inappropriate.

So
we
had
an
incident
today
with
him
or
was
it
like
anything
really
bad,
but
he
ultimately
was
asked
to
leave
for
the
day,
because
he
was
just
being
a
little
bit
inappropriate
with
staff.
Just
fascinating
I,
don't
think
it's
the
study,
room
rules,
I
think
it's
the
person
yeah,
so
you
know,
but
other
than
that
I
mean
really
behavior-wise.
We
haven't
encountered
too
much
problem
and
when
we
do,
you
know,
observe
Behavior,
that's
you
know
not
appropriate
we're
able
to
address
it
right
away.
It
definitely
helps
having
the
Allied
guards.

There's
a
gentleman
in
this
backspace
over
here
a
couple
weeks
ago,
and
the
guards
saw
through
the
windows
that
he
just
was
making
a
mess
on
the
table
and
was
actually
starting
to
take
his
clothes
off
and
they
came
in
and
then
they
directed
him
out
of
the
library
but
like
that
could
have
taken
us
a
lot
longer
to
discover,
because
you
can't
really
see
over
there
you're
scanning
the
cameras,
it
might
take.
A
few
Cycles
before
you've
noticed
something
was
amiss,
so
it
definitely
helps
having
the
additional
Security
in
the
building.

we
do
have
a
weekly
meeting
with
the
security
supervisor
and
myself
and
then
one
of
our
library
security
staff,
depending
on
who's
reporting
that
day,
so
that
way
we're
keeping
our
communication
up
to
date
and
stuff
like
that,
so
been
a
consistent
team
yeah
it
needs,
you
know
better,
there's.
Definitely
a
core
group
about
Dwight
is
here
daily
and
we
have
him
in
the
Civic
Center
prior
to
the
closure.

he's
helpful
and
then
there's
another
guy
that
work.
He
predominantly
does
the
outside
Patrol,
but
he
was
also
has
been
here
since
last
year,
so
he
has
a
familiarity
with
the
library
staff
and
then
just
kind
of
the
processes
and
procedures.

that's
helpful
and
then
all
the
new
people
in
between
have
been
really.

and
communicative
and
they'll.

us
questions
and
TJ's
been
making
a
point
of
going
out
and
talking
to
all
of
them
introducing
them.

one
of
the
things
that
stood
out
to
me
was
discussion
about
the
minimum
number
of
staff

keep

library
open
and

that
time
it
was
discussed
as
before,
and
we
really
we
got
down
to
three.
Last
year,
like
we
were
running
the
library
of
three
people
and
I
honestly,
don't
think
I'll
ever
do
that
again.

the

to

request
into

company
that
runs
their
automation,

locking
the
doors

going

separating

of

of
functionality,
so
they
can
be
unlocked
independent
of
the
others.

coming

South

entrance
nothing

locking
doors
on

variety

funding

federal
stimulus
money

couple
years,

this
next
year
we've
had
to
Make
Some
Cuts.
Unfortunately,
the
good
news
is
we
are
contemplating
going
out
for
a
mill
Levy
this
year.

couple
different
ways
to
do:
a
mill
everywhere,
almost
at
capacity
on
our
normal
Mill
Levy,
but
there's
a
there's,
a
different
Mill
every
route
here
in
Colorado,
because
because
the
funding
in

state
sucks
for
public
education,
so
they
give
us
this
other
little
place
to
go,
find
another
bill.
That
would
allow
us,
then,
to
buy
some
of
that
money
to
specific
things
like
technology
or
transportation
and
then
move
corresponding
amounts
of
money
back
into
the
general
fund.

in
a
district
is
small,

Draconian

entire
budget
is

million
dollars

year,
and

of
that
is
people
in
a
school
district.
Obviously,
so
it
would

pretty

stimulus
or
other
temporary
funding
positions
that
were
the
first
to
go.

our
neighboring
districts
are

not
at
that
point.

that's
