we're
kind

directing
people
currently

passwords
and
stuff
like
that,
and
then
we'll
do
some
other
updates
about
the
culture
passes
and
it's
kind
of
like
we're
doing
it
posting
it
up
there
after
we've
done
like
the
Photoshop.

picking

been
calling
pretty
steady,
so
that's
really

really

really

organized
approach

social

posts

we

coming
up

planned

promotional

databases
and

are
being

month
we

that's
exciting
and
with
the
formal
promotion
that
we

during
National
Library
week,
we
were
receiving
a
lot
of
calls
and
emails.

us
questions
about

little
promotional

in

shape

a
ticket
inside
of
our
new
library
card
holder
brochure,
so
hope
to
see
those
kitchen
YouTube
increase.

for
programming,
the
children's
programs
have
been
going
really
well.
One
of
the
Outreach
items
that
was
that
they
attended
for
April
was
the
Spring
Festival.
It
was
estimated
a
little
little
over.

thousand
people
were
interrupted
with
that
and
then
the
Maddox
literacy
Mike
had
over
three.

Then
team
programs
are
still
doing
pretty
well.
I
know
that
we
increase
the
team
permits
throughout
the
summer,
so
I
expected
to
increase
more
during
the
summer
time,
and
then
their
outreach
program
for
middle
and
high
schools
have
been
continuing
to
have
good
attendance,
and
then
one
item
opened
up.
That
I
was
super
excited.
Is
that
the
adult
programming

didn't
have
one

event?

And
then,
for
instance,
we
only
had
six,
four
were
just
a
single
day.
Inclusions
and
two
others
were
one
was
for
vandalism,
a
vehicle
in
the
circle,
and
then
somebody
just
came
in
and
asked
for
help
for
following
the
police
and
I
forget
I,
actually
things
with
another
similar
thing
where
we
were
just
calling
first
students
or
somebody,
but
just
going
back
to
look
at
last
month
in
March
the
previous
month,
we
had
nine
January,
we
had
one
but
for
context
in
November,
10,
20
and
December.

like,
obviously
the
number

but
like
I,
feel,
like
the
stress
levels,
are
yep
I
mean
many
people
patrons
of
satellite
have
said
that
they
feel
much
more
comfortable
in
the
library.
The
tension
for
staff.

tension

greatly
decreased,
I
mean
even
just
last
Saturday.
At
the
end
of
the
day,
we
were
all
just
like
this
was
a
nice
smooth
day.
There
was
a
big
event
going
on
outside
and
so
to
not
feel
like
overwhelmed
by
things
was
was
really.

it's
hard
to
know
for
me
if
the
contracted
Security
on
the
outer
parts
of
the
building
are
like
what
degree
their
impact
is
because
I
don't
see
if
there
are
people
who
are
coming
up
and
then
deciding
not
to
come

I
do
know.
We
do
still
see
many
of
our
regulars
that
we
had
before,
but
some
of
the
recurring
Behavior
issue
of
individuals,
I
have
not
seen
them
come
back,
so
I'm
just
going
to
do
who
were
excluded
for
drug
offenses.

seen
outcome,

think
I
feel
like
we
were
closed,
maybe
just
long
enough
for
some
people
to
develop
new
habits
and
routines
and
to
establish
themselves
elsewhere

didn't

one
great
thing
about
libraries,
too,
is
like
we're
not
in
competition
with
other
libraries.
So
if
somebody's
like
well
I'm
going
to
start
going
to
this
Library,
that's
okay,

but
you

for
the
people
that
might
have
been
causing
problems
for
us
previously.

really
hard
to
know
why
we're
not
seeing
them
come
back.
We
have
had
some
complaints
about
the
single
entrance
as
well
as
our
bathroom
process,
but
as
we
explain
that
the
ultimate
goal
is
for
safety,
most
common
people
get
on
board
in
our
location,
but
I
do
think
the
additional
Staffing
helps
we
had.
One
day
last
week,
three
people
called
out
sick,
which
was
really
tough,
but
we
still
have
because
I
think
it
was
last
Tuesday
night.

still
had
about
five
people
on
the
floor.
Like
three
months
ago,
we
might
have
only
had
two
people
and
had
to
would
have
to
close
I
mean
the
night
we
presented
the
Council
on
January
3rd.
We
had
to
close
at
five
o'clock
because
I
only
had
two,
so
that's
another
big
difference
is
that
we
can
just
provide
better
service
because
we
have
enough
people,
even
when
folks
are
calling
out.
It
maybe
strains
us
a
little
bit,
but
we
can
still,
you
know,
carry
on
so
that
helps
a
great
deal.

like
for
me:

still
need
more
time
that
I'm
being
here
to
really
understand
how
the
weather
impacts
people
coming
from
a
place
that
was
generally
in
the
summer,
extremely
hot.

the
summer
like
we
had
cooling
centers

having

warming
facilities
in
Nevada,
but
because
I
think
I
mean
we
definitely
had
some
serious
issues
through
the
summer
last
year
and
but
then
about
really
intense
in
October,
November,
December.

guess
it
will.

may

we
get
back
into
the
winter
months
time.

hard

borrowed

items

other
libraries.

volunteer

we
formally
launched
our
recruitment
on

28th,

closing
off
the
National
Library
week
and
I
forget
as

this
week.

we

now
have
about
20
completed
interest
forms,
professional
volunteers
and
our
librarian
Hannah
is
reviewing
those
interest
forms
and
is
working
on
like
an
introductory
email
to.

Some
of
the
interest
forms
were
pretty
heavy
in
certain
areas
that
everybody
wanted
to
do
this
one
thing,
so
we're
kind
of
going
to
work
on
how
we
need
to
beat
those
out
a
little
bit
and
then
so.

first
volunteer
orientation
is
going
to
be
planned
for
Thursday
June
and
does
that
number
of
applications?
What
you
expected
did
you
want
more?

projects
we're
going
to
do
and
we
might
even
see
depending
on
their
interests
like
we
might
have
stuff
like
half
the
groups,
start
the
first
orientation
and
maybe
two
beats
later,
do
another
one
to
make
sure
that
we
can
get
everybody
started

that's

mean,
if
you
think
about
it
in
an
employment
sense.

just
start
20
people
with
it,
because
I
only
have
one
person,
that's
coordinating
all
right,
so
we
might
do
it

two

right

soon

orientation,

free

people

any
special
skills

interests

volunteering

library
and

about
every
single
person
was
like
either
new
to
the
community
and
want
to
get
involved
or
I
really
love
the
public
library
and
just
want
to
give
back
to
my
community,
and
it's
just
a
lot

really
positive
stuff
like
that.

it's
really
encouraging
to
see
and.

think
we're
I

when
we
were
trying
to.
We
didn't
want
to
say
we
want
you
to
commit
for
a
whole
year,
because
that's
not
a
long
time
to
ask
for
a
volunteer
yeah,
so
I
think
we
might
give
the
option
of
like

you
want

revisit
your.
You
know,
volunteer
schedule
in
three
months
or
six
months
and
kind
of
look
at
it
in
a
shorter
stretch
and
just
kind
of
renew
it.

surprisingly,

the

people
we

were
younger,
that
might
potentially
be
students,
it's
hard
to
really
know
for
sure,

they're
in
school

they
have
more
time

they
get
back
into
classes
or
something
like
that
they
may
want
to
change.

organizations

are

just
continue
to
promote
the
program,
and
then
we
have
gotten
all
of
our
book
club
kits
entered
into
the
kit
keeper,
for
you

checking
out
reserving
kits

Story,
Time
kits
are
still
being
cataloged
and
like
entered
into
it
and
then
we're
working
on
our
collection
of
board
games,
and
so
once
we
have
all
of
those
three
things
that
we
like
already
have
the
physical
items
for
that
will
launch
the
kit
keeper.

want
to
drive
people
to
the
kitkeeper,
to
request
them
and
reserve
them
through
the
kitkeeper
rather
than
placing
our
book,
because
the
hold
request
kind
of
been
indicated
that
you
want
it

up,
so
people
can
reserve
them
in
advance
and
if
we
have
both
features,
they're
kind
of
income
under
each
other,
so
we'll
be
discontinuing
the
whole
request
and
the
book
club
kits
will
remain
being
available
only
to
in-person,
checkouts,

holder.

the
process
for
establishing

access
point
for
School
library
cards,
so
students
will
just
automatically
have
a
library

representatives
from
each
of
those
groups
working
on
activities
for
the
month
of
October,
so
that's
kind
of
a
bungee
too,
and
I'm
kind
of
helping
I'm
helping
out
with
more
of
the
piece
of
like
doing
either
a
series
of
movies
or
book
discussions
or
a
combination
of
the
two
throughout
the
month
and
then
supporting
the
school
with
like
recommended
books
and
things
like
that
and
making
the
students
yeah.
And
then
there
will
be
a
culminating
event,
which
I
think
is
going
to
take
place
here
in
the
Civic
Center.

excited

was
definitely
interesting.

talking
with
the
two
people
from
the
school
because
they're
done
in
the
social
work
department.

it's
really

interesting
to
get
just
some
insight
and
about
stuff.

like
a
a
separate
thing
that
just
kind
of
came
up
over
the
last
couple
months
that
I've
heard
Jamaicans
sort
of
a
partnership
with
with
the
schools,
but
they

had

really
great
response
to
our
social
media
post
this
month
with
library
at
the
National
Library
week,
stuff,
the
volunteers

think
we

then
we

The
culture
passes
the
same
week

we're
starting

different

our
current
email
system.

of
the
things
I
did
learn
about
when
I
was
at
the
safety.
Summit
was
a
different
type
of
software
that
can
coordinate
with

notifications
more
up

learned
last
week
when
I
was
kind
of
doing
my
deep
dive

the
children's

They
have
like
a
flyer
with
a
QR
code
that
allows
people
to
sign
up
for
that.

developing
the

thing
for
adults
or
people
who
just
want

stuff.

put
it

our
new

people

right

thinking
of
doing

going
to
continue
just
sticking
with
the
service

we
have

city
council
gave
official
Direction
over
the
last
few
weeks
that

officially
yesterday

our
study
session,
around
a
housing
task
force,
housing,
speak

going
to

citizen

residents.net,

homeowners
and
printers
and
then
several
Community
stakeholder
spots
as
well.
The
school
district,
pharmacists
community
and
we'll
be
looking
to
people
who
want
to
serve
on
that
very
similar
to
how
we
structure
the
police
report
task
force
a
few
years
ago.

has

personal
experience
or
is
from
one
of
the

board
meeting

start
an
hour
early
at

PM,
we'll
be

session

potential

interested

running
for
the
two
open
board
seats
in
November.

staffing
adjustments

budget

answer

The
answer
is
yes,
that
while
it
causes
us
challenges
in
some
areas,
if
we
go
out
for
a
mill
because
of
the
way
the
structure
time
won't
bore
you
if
I
stuck
behind
how
a
mill
works,
but
it
would,
and
in
years
I
think
five
and
six
we've
actually
projected
it
would
reduce
your
taxes.
I
know
it's
counterintuitive,
but
the
math
is
it's
there,
so
so
the
benefit
there
of
rising
home
price
is
that
it
makes
a
mill
very,
very
affordable
for
people
right.
