A
Okay,
Logan,
Dunning,
chair,
let's
go
ahead
and
do
a
quick
roll
call,
I'll
start
and
then
we'll
go
clockwise
in
the
room,
including
guests
and
speakers,
and
then
we'll
go
online.
So
Logan
Dunning,
chair
present
will.
E
Like
Mike
Chisholm
Vice,
chair.
A
Good
to
see
you
hear
you
great
so
we'll
call
us
to
order.
Dana's
looks
like
our
only
guest
this
evening,
thanks
for
joining
us,
Dan,
always
great
to
have
you.
We
do
have
speakers
that
will
be
joining
us
this
evening.
We've
got
Adrian
and
I
apologize
I.
Don't
we
haven't
had
a
chance
to
meet
him,
Brad
Brad
wonderful,
to
meet
you
thanks
for
being
here
this
evening.
A
Let's
do
quick
approval
of
minutes
and
then
we'll
dive
into
our
meaty
media
agenda.
So
we
can
get
right
to
it.
Any
area
of
discussion
for
last
month's
meeting
any
qualms
feedback
final
thoughts.
A
I
A
I'll
opposed,
nay
you're.
None
approved
great,
let's
jump
into
the
meat
of
this
agenda.
Here
we
kicked
this
item
the
chair
and
vice
chair
from
last
month.
Just
wanted
to
make
sure
we
had
as
many
voices
at
the
table
as
possible,
so
I'll
just
Dive
Right
In
to
shoot
you
guys
straight
I'm
going
to
pass
the
Baton
tonight.
A
Just
got
a
lot
going
on
in
my
professional
life
and
that's
not
going
to
come
to
a
close
anytime
soon
and
doing
some
Family
Planning
at
home,
or
expecting
our
second
little
one
in
June,
so
just
being
pulled
in
quite
a
few
different
directions,
and
so
that
led
me
to
the
conclusion
of
perhaps
I
should
step
aside
this
year
and
I
know
there
are
I,
know
every
single
one
of
you
could
be
our
capable
leaders
of
this
commission.
A
So
I
won't
belabor
the
point
too
much,
but
just
really
excited
for
the
momentum
that
we've
built
over
the
last
13
14
months
have
a
really
fantastic
group
of
brilliant,
driven,
ambitious
commission
members
here
and
I'm
excited
for
what
we've
started
and
I.
Just
don't
want
my
personal
time
constraints
to
hinder
the
momentum
that
we've
found.
So
I
will
leave
that
there
for
now
and
we
can
open
it
up
for
chair
nominations
and
with
that,
while
I
have
the
mic.
A
I
would
like
to
formally
nominate
our
current
Vice
chair,
Mike,
Chisholm
and
I'll
give
a
quick,
Lobby
pitch
and
then
be
quiet,
Mike's,
just
a
passionate
guy.
As
you
all
know,
he
served
on
keeping
a
beautiful
with
Cara
and
I,
and
the
guy
just
by
God,
wants
to
get
his
hands
dirty
literally
I
called
him
on
Friday
to
talk
about
the
agenda
and
he's
got
he's
elbow
deep
in
biochar
GE.
It's
just
it's
amazing
and,
and
my
last
picture
you
know.
A
Mike
has
represented
this
commission
well
in
front
of
City
Council
on
numerous
occasions
over
the
past
year,
but
I
think
he'd
be
a
fantastic
leader.
So
that's
my
pitch
for
Mike
Christine
is
present.
Christine
I,
just
nominated,
formerly
Mike,
to
be
chair
of
the
commission
this
year,
but
now
I
would
I
would
either
entertain
a
second
to
that
or
other
nominations
from
the
commission
and
I'll
just
leave
it
there
for
now
or
any
other
thoughts.
I
A
Me
still
be.
A
Member
of
this
Mission
hoping
to
be
a
contributor
to
the
conversation,
just
just
relieving
myself
of
the
duties
for
the
next
calendar
year,
any
comments
online
or
my
nomination
for
Mike
or
in
the
room.
C
C
Think
that
Mike
I've
known
Michael
only
a
small
amount
of
time,
but
it's
been
intense,
my
friend
and
he
is
definitely
an
idea.
Guy
and
I
think
that
he
sees
Visions
for
what
this
committee
could
be,
as
you
have
and
I
think
that
it's
exciting
to
see
that
that
vision
and
continue
on
yeah
so
I
definitely
support
that
thanks,
Rick.
B
Great
but
yes
I.
Second,
your
your
nomination
for
Mike
love.
A
A
Thank
you
online.
All
opposed,
nay,
unanimous
vote.
Wonderful!
Congratulations!
Mike!
Thank
you!
It's
exciting!
Let's
take
it
to
Vice
chair
well,.
E
I
have
a
nomination
for
vice
chair,
devious
side.
I
would
hope
that
Logan
would
stick
around
to
spice
chair.
We
we
have
communicated
and
talked.
E
Collaborated
and
just
tickled
to
hear
he's
staying
on
the
commission,
but
I
would
do
my
best
not
to
burden
him
with
work
and
responsibilities.
But
I
had
his
back
a
couple
of
times.
It's
no
big
deal
and
I
can
see
in
the
future.
He
could
have
my
back
so
I'd
like
to
nominate
Logan.
I
I
A
E
E
A
I,
don't
want
to
throw
the
Rhythm
off
that
that's
fine.
We
do
have
a
PR
LG
presentation
and
Q
a
for
the
next
about
half
hour,
so
I'd
like
to
go
ahead
and
dive
into
that
and
I
think
we'll
have
a
real
productive
conversation
and
some
good
takeaways.
A
C
D
A
Fair
question,
so
we've
got
Brad
Anderson
here
and
Adrian
Torres
I
know
a
couple
of
you
all
have
relationships
and
with
Adrian
and
some
projects
ongoing.
So
we're
excited
to
have
the
both
of
you
here.
Thanks
for
the
time
tonight,
I
we'll
try
to
keep
the
30
minutes
for
25,
I,
guess
25
of
them
around.
K
D
I'll
start
off
to
those
that
probably
won't
hear
anything
just
visited
I'm
Brad
Anderson
I
am
the
new
deputy
director
of
parks.
Recreation
I
have
been
with
the
city
just
a
little
background
on
me,
as
I've
been
here
for
total,
including
part-time
38
years.
That's
how
long
you've
been
here.
I
was
currently
before
this
position.
I
was
the
aquatics
manager,
so
I
was
the
person
that
started
and
helped
develop.
Pirates
Cove,
so
I've
been
in
college.
Almost
that
time,
I've
been
new
sports.
Fantastic
I've
been
around
quite
a
lot
of
stuff
too.
D
D
What
are
we
doing
about
counterpost
in
the
city
of
England,
so
we're
teaming
up
with
the
compost
Colorado
and
we're
actually
going
to
have
a
site
at
the
ingwood
recreation
center
right
I
think
that's
going
to
be
great
for
the
community,
but
hopefully
it's
going
to
go
well
and
if
that's
the
case,
then
we
can
earmark
possibly
a
set
Insight
if
that's
feasible,
to
do
that
one.
So
that's
exciting!
I
talked
with
the
recreation
staff
and
they're
excited
about
it
as
well.
D
So
staff
will
be
able
to
utilize
that
as
well,
so
we've
already
marked
the
location
it'll
be
on
the
north
side
of
the
recreation
center.
In
that
parking
lot,
they'll
be
back
by
the
dumpster,
is
in
the
recycle
bin
back
in
there,
so
that
one's
going
to
be
really
fun
and
coming
up
and
stuff.
So
I
look
forward
to
that
one
as
more
details
come
out,
I'm
sure
you
will
be
informed
with
when
that's
going
to
happen.
So.
B
D
Larger
plan
than
well,
hopefully
it'll,
be
just
a
little
it'll
start
off
as
a
robot.
You
know,
obviously,
because
this
is
brand
new
to
the
city.
It's
going
to
be
a
pilot
program
and
then
hopefully
it's
going
to
catch
on
very
good,
very
quickly
and
stuff,
and
then
that's
when
we'll
look
at
it
and
we'll
evaluate
it.
D
As
it's
going
on
and
say
hey,
we
need
to
possibly
have
a
second
site,
some
of
the
city,
so
we
picked
the
site
that
was
probably
most
conducive
to
the
residents
and
also
to
where
it
fit
within
the
Parks
and
Recreation
facilities,
where
it
would
be
easy
access
for
the
citizens
to
use
and
also
that
we
have
a
large
number
of
Staff
in
that
area
to
legalize
it
as
well.
So,
okay,
great.
E
Okay,
good
just
two
thoughts:
I'm
delighted
that
you're
doing
this
I
think
it's
all
about
communication,
I
working
the
last
few
years,
the
leaf
project
in
the
fall
there's
a
lot
of
people
that
really
want
to
do
this
kind
of
stuff.
So,
whatever
communication
strategy,
you
have
amp
it
up
even
more
because
the
more
people
know
the
more
they're
just
going
to
do
it
so
I
I!
It's
it's
that
positive.
E
The
other
question
this
is
just
an
aside.
Could
Englewood
or
anybody
get
any
of
that
compost
back
I'm
gonna
go
back
around
and
go
into
flower
beds,
or
is
it
or
does
it
just
go
out
there
into
the
world
of
compost?
You
can
see
that
you
know
I'm
just
saying
it.
It'd
be
cool
if
it
was
a
way
to
to
get
compost
down
the
road
not
essential,
but
it'd,
be
neat.
D
So
there's
a
couple
questions
there
in
the
first
one,
as
far
as
what
was
the
first
part
of
the
question
communication
to
everything,
so
what
will
be
working
is
with
our
Communications
Department
right,
so
roll
that
out
into
various
different
means,
you
know,
obviously,
will
be
a
city
council
to
be
announced
into
a
lot.
They
will
do
different,
rollouts
and
stuff
for
the
social
media
that
we
have
several
social
media
sites
and
it's
out
there
where
city
has
a
site
with
their
the
recreation
department
has
a
site.
D
Broken
T's
got
a
size,
so
we
can
use
all
those
means
and
roll
this
side,
like
our
grocer.
We
have
our
website
system
that
we
can
put.
We
can
post
a
whole
bunch
of
stuff
out
there,
so
yeah.
We
will
definitely
be
communicating
that,
but
first
things
first,
you
know
it's
kind
of
what
Mel
said
is
the
contract's
in
there
and
right
now
we're
going
through
a
change
in
our
contract
approval
process
right
so
just
bear
with
us,
so
they've
been
inundated
with
a
whole
lot
of
contracts
coming
their
way.
D
B
There's
some
in
Denver
and
you
do
get
a
dividend
back
per
compost
and
then
I
think
don't
quote
me
on
this
I
think
part
of
it
too.
You
can
like
compost,
your
yearly
pumpkins.
You
can
compost
your
Christmas
tree
like
if
you
sign
up
for
the
monthly
compost
thing,
so
it's
actually
a
really
great
package
within
it
and
then
compost
Colorado.
It
only
benefits
them
to
do
marketing
too.
So
they
really
push
it
out
to
angle
when
folks
sit
there
now
and
in
the
in
the
area.
Great
great.
D
Next
slide
better
well,
so
recycling
Periscope
has
highly
usage,
so
we
normally
have
approximately
100
000
guests
that
come
through
the
gate.
Road
summertime,
that's
three
month,
time
frame
and
we've
done,
recycle
we've
kind
of
fell
off
of
a
little
bit
and
part
of
it
was
really
is
separating
the
recycles
from
the
regular
traps,
and
so
we're
going
to
develop
a
different
type
of
recycle
bins
and
just
keep
strategically
placing
throughout
the
park.
So
hopefully
it's
going
to
get
used
more.
So
that's
going
to
be
a
power
school!
D
That's
going
to
come
back
and
stuff
we're
excited
about
it.
We
do
have
a
dumpster
that's
out
in
the
parking
lot
too.
That
is
just
for
recycling,
so
I
think
with
Staffing
I
have
all
new
staff
up
there
at
our
school,
and
so
they
bought
into
the
idea
as
well.
So
that's
part
of
it,
too,
is
to
give
the
staff
to
buy
into
the
program.
So
they're
done,
oh
they're
ready
to
go
for
that,
but
deep,
so
we're
going
to
be
doing
recycling.
The
other
thing
is
we're
research
and
recycling
stuff.
D
One
of
our
biggest
problems
we
have
with
trash
itself
is
pizza
boxes
because
Power
Scope
has
Pirates
pizza,
that's
what
we
use
and
what
people
do?
The
guests
will
put
the
pizza
box
into
the
trash
with
which
just
clogs
everything
up
with
that
with
stuff
and
as
most
people
know,
that
pizza
boxes
cannot
be
recycled.
That's
because
of
the
greases
of
the
house
and
these
spots
it
it
damages
the
recycles
the
equipment.
So
what
we're
going
to
do
is
have
a
couple
recycle
bins.
Just
for
the
pizza
boxes
too.
D
B
J
With
your
new
recycle
bins,
do
you
know
if
it
would
be
the
kind
where
it's
just
obvious
that
it's
only
recycled
because
sometimes
I
see
like
a
plain
old,
recycle
bin
and
then
be
able
to
quit
driving,
but
I've
seen
some
that
have
almost
like
a
cup
slot
or
a
newspaper
slot?
And
so
you
just
know
at
a
glance
that
that's
not
the
normal
trash
can
and
I
also
wondered
if
they
might
be
next
to
each
other,
rather
than
like,
recycle
way
over
there
and
random
trash
over
there.
Yeah.
D
We
will
have
them
close
to
current
trash
receptacles
too
so
and
it'll
be
something
similar
to
this
one.
The
nice
thing
that
we
have
this
and
we've
this
is
a
company.
Macs
are
that
we
actually
got
our
regular
trash
receptacles
at,
and
so
it
kind
of
ties
into
that
whole
theme
and
everything
and
there's
you
know
they're
they're
blue,
and
we
know
that
people
don't
read
anyway.
So.
D
The
reading
on
the
top
of
himself-
and
they
will
see
that
and
at
least
think
twice
before
they
throw
their
trash
in
the
recycle
bin.
So
we're
going
to
try
to
earmark
that
too,
and
then
we
even
we
even
talked
about
maybe
doing
a
gift
card
or
a
free
pizza
or
a
drink,
or
something
too.
If
we
catch
someone
recite
you
to
reward
them
to,
hopefully
encourage
people
to
do
more
and
stuff.
So
those
are
things
yeah.
D
The
other
thing
too,
with
the
Pirates
Cove
that
we're
looking
at
that's
not
on
the
slide.
I
didn't
get
it
up
on,
theirs
were
actually
evaluating
doing
variable
frequency
drives
and
variable
frequency
is
nice
to
save
on
energy,
but
that
one
right
now
we
have
22
23
centrifugal
pumps
that
are
run
into
the
water,
Empire's
Cove,
and
so
that's
a
high
usage
of
electricity.
So
we're
looking
at
going
into
that
one
and
seeing
what
we
can
do
with
those.
D
C
Going
to
have
any
pardon
me
signage
around
this,
so
that
people
know
what
is
recyclable
versus
what
is
not
recyclable
so
that
it
doesn't
get
filled
up
with.
D
Yeah
and
I
think
Mike
brought
up
a
really
good
question.
As
far
as
communication,
we
need
to
communicate
that
too
so
I
know.
Mal
we've
gives
has
passed
out
some
really
good
buyers
and
stuff
that
we
have
on
our
endorse
those
recycle
bins
and
stuff,
and
we
can
post
that
stuff
out
there
as
well
too.
Absolutely
Jeff.
D
D
We're
in
the
middle
of
right
now
of
doing
a
practice
initiative
to
expand
pyroscope
as
part
of
that
one.
It
also
goes
into
parks
and
almost
still
any
of
Adrian's
thunder
without
because
he's
got
some
good
presentations
on
that.
But
what
we're
looking
to
do
is
there's
three
bodies
of
water
at
Paris
Cove,
the
lower
one
on
the
lower
right
hand,
side
that
is
actually
currently
the
competitive
pool.
The
competitive
pool
has
got
some
infrastructure
problems,
especially
with
leaks
and
part
of
that
was
done
at
the
construction
level
and
stuff.
D
D
What
staff
did
we
sat
down
and
just
started
brainstorming
a
little
bit
and
we
decided
we
could
put
in
a
couple
more
slides
in
that
area,
and
the
other
thing
we
noticed
is
from
day
one
19
years
ago,
when
we
opened
Pirate's
Cove
people
want
a
body
water
just
to
sit
in
just
to
sit
and
soak.
It
comes,
and
so
cool.
No
real
activity
or
anything
too,
so
what
we're
going
to
do
is
put
another
Pool
in
there,
similar
to
what
the
Leisure
Pool
is.
D
It
will
be
a
three
and
a
half
foot
depth,
pull
with
a
waterfall,
maybe
some
water,
geysers
and
stuff
that
are
popping
up
and
stuff
and
that's
the
scenario
where
people
can
just
go
and
they
can
sit
in
the
installs
and
just
laugh
and
be
wet
without
them
and
cool
off
the
slide
that
pull
that's
where
the
slightest
dump
into
that
will
be
taken
out.
That
won't
be
part
of
it.
This
is
just
a
conceptual
design.
There
will
be
what
we
call
a
run
out
slide
and
what
it
is.
D
It's
a
shallow
depth
of
water
is
part
of
the
slide
itself,
and
that
slows
the
guests
go
down
when
they
go
in
there.
So
with
that
one,
it's
less
water
we're
going
to
have
at
the
current
time
the
competitive
pool
holds
230,
000
gallons
of
water
I'm,
estimating
right
now,
with
this
shape
of
the
pool
and
the
slides
will
only
be
have
about
a
hundred
thousand
gallons
of
water
and
just
to
take
that
another
aesthetic
further
is
a
lot
of
people.
Don't
understand
that
pool
water
is
recycled.
D
The
whole
time
we're
recirculating
recirculating
that
none
of
this
stuff
goes
down
the
drain
until
we
backwash
the
filters
well
with
this
designer
stuff,
we
won't
be
needing
to
backwash
quite
as
much
as
what
we
do
right
now
in
the
Leisure
forecast.
So
we
will
have
the
proper
flow
rate
and
everything
else
on
that
one
to
where
we
won't
have
to
do
as
much
backwashing
or
cleaning
the
focus
that
we
do
right
now.
C
For
those
of
you
who
don't
know
me,
my
name
is
Andrew
Torres
I'm,
the
open
space
manager.
So
thank
you
for
having
us
tonight,
I
wanted
to
update
you
guys
on
some
current
projects
that
were,
we
got
going
some
future
projects
and
some
long-term
projects
so
day,
slogan,
phase
one
this
one
I
just
got
approved
through
council
at
the
end
of
last
month.
So
this
will
start
construction
here
in
beginning
of
next
month,
so
again
available
we're
going
to
get
a
new
shelter
and
a
new
restroom
and
then
like
a
plaza
area
between
Cleveland
polls.
C
J
Question
I
feel
like
the
Bates
Logan
Park
still
has
the
street
lights,
that
are
the
old
sodium,
something
that
are
really
yellowish
and
the
rest
of
the
city
was
going
to
LED
lights.
You
know
if
that
might
be
part
of
it.
Unfortunately,.
I
B
L
B
C
So
this
is,
this
will
be
phase
two
of
the
project,
so
this
will
be
we'll
apply
for
this
grant
spring.
So
phase
two
will
be
a
new
playground,
so
this
will
be
kind
of
the
footprint
where
the
basketball
court
currently
is.
So
we
wanted
to
take
advantage
of
the
hillside
that
we
currently
have
there
and
you
know,
have
some
slides,
oh
cool,
that
go
down
the
hill,
so
we're.
C
About
this,
one
of
the
signs
that
we're
very
passionate
about
is
being
play,
bringing
play
to
anybody
and
all
of
our
citizens.
So
we
have
a
lot
of
all-inclusive
pieces
here
that
you
know
are
wheelchair
accessible
and
everybody
can
play
so
very
excited
about
that.
So
this
will
I'll
go
to
be
comfortable.
C
Resolution
apply
for
the
grant.
This
grant
is
six
hundred
thousand
dollars
from
Arapahoe
County,
where
we
will
match
that
with
as
much
as
we
can
I
mean,
this
project
is
probably
at
least
eight
hundred
thousand,
if
not
more
so.
What's.
I
C
A
G
C
You
bet
Adrian,
what's
the
surface
the
brown
surface
going
to
be,
is
it
changing
out
or
what
are
you
in
this
drawing?
If
we
can
go
back
one
though
so
the
brown
surface
will
be
right.
Now
it's
engineered
wood,
fiber
and
the
green
surface
is
pour
and
play
okay,
we're
looking
at
doing
Forum
play
on
the
whole
thing:
okay,
but
the
porn
play
is
to
each
of
the
accessible
pieces.
So.
E
Adrian
a
question
that
looks
great
I,
love
it
and
I'm
glad
to
see
turf
was
taken
out
from
other
side.
You
put
some
yes
covering
there.
Would
there
be
an
opportunity
to
do
anything
like
a
small,
pollinator,
Garden
or
something
like
we
did
over
at
the
Depot
I
mean
even
the
corner
of
that
we'll
get
there
I
didn't
know
you
could
read
mine
I
already
knew
it
all
right.
You
do.
It
was
coming.
C
K
C
C
We
get
to
the
potential
phase
three,
the
next
phase
of
it
I
got
a
drawing
up
here
that
it
kind
of
gave
us
a
bigger
picture
of
the
whole
areas.
Great
here
we
go
okay.
Now
this
one
is
sideways,
but
it
was
the
best
way
to
look
at
it.
So
the
bottom
middle
is
kind
of
the
phase
one
where
the
shelter
and
the
restroom
are
to
the
left
of
that
is
the
kind
of
the
footprint
of
where
the
playground
would
be.
C
That
middle
area
is
just
that
middle
kind
of
grassy
area
that
breaks
it
up.
There's
the
flower
bed
for
those,
even
though
baits
the
top
left
will
be
Glide
track
a
concrete,
Glide
track.
Then,
of
course,
a
basketball
court
cool
the
dash.
The
dash
line
is
a
dirt
like
pump
track
awesome
and
on
the
bottom,
is
the
pickleball
courts.
So
what's
that,
what's
the
dark
track,
the
it's
a
palm
track
for
myself,
so
like
a
BMX
yeah,
that's
cool
and
everything
that
shaded
we're
going
to
do
dates.
I
C
K
I
C
C
C
What
is
to
swap
them,
you
know,
put
the
pickleball
court
with
the
basketball
court
is,
and
the
basketball
court
and
closer
to
the
neighbor,
so
it'll
be
a
little
further
from
any
residential
Indian
residential
neighboring
in
that
area.
So
that's
also
an
option
one
of
the
first
drawings
they
were
together
this
one
we
kind
of
like
a
little
more
because
it's
more
spaced
out
so,
but
this
is,
you
know
when
I
get
along
recipes.
C
A
Of
this
group
you're
not
going
to
talk
as
long
as
you
want
about
five
minutes
puts
us
at
our
25
minute,
Mark,
just
FYI.
C
C
One
of
our
biggest
challenges
right
now
is
as
Dennis
still
on
there.
I
C
Can
attest
to
is
our
aging
irrigation
systems
and
are
not
they're
set
up
for
Turf,
and
if
we
try
to
make
modifications,
it's
it's
very
difficult
teacher
and
then
we
lose
Turf
areas
and
it's
a
challenge.
So
with
these
future
plans,
we'd
have
a
new
irrigation
system,
that's
designed
for
you
know,
native
to
get
native
established,
and
then
we
can
turn
that
zone
off.
So
that's.
I
C
E
A
C
Okay,
so
this
one
is
Clarkson,
but
Clarkson
is
kind
of
one
of
our
little
neighborhood
pocket
parks.
Any
of
you
guys
know
where
that
is
or
don't
it's
on
Carson
enamor.
So
it's
kind
of
a
little
small
little
small
piece.
So
this
one
they
want
to
do
another
community
garden
over
in
this
area.
Let's
see
this
one,
they
want
to
do
a
small
on
track
as
well.
C
C
All
the
way
out
of
Denver
I
mean
it's
almost.
What's
that
Yale.
A
B
B
C
J
A
piece
of
plastic:
do
you
know
if
some
of
these
plans
will
incorporate
that
kind
of
design?
Yes,.
C
E
Adrian
there's
a
park
in
Denver
it'd
be
along
the
Platte
right
by
Evans
yeah.
E
Anyways,
it's
something
to
behold:
I,
don't
know
if
you've
seen
it,
but
you
may
want
to
check
it
out
because
it's
cool
and
if
it
if
it
is
what
it
appears
to
be,
it's
one
heck
of
a
tree
that
they
turned
into
a
playground.
Piece
of
artwork
like
I,
said
the
kids
love
it
and
I've
just
looked
at
it
thinking.
E
I
C
This
one
is
the
Northwest
green
belts,
so
those
new
familiar
that
are
familiar
with
that
area.
This
one
we
can
get
a
huge
gain
with
Native,
so
the
the
bottom
section,
the
furthest
to
the
right,
is
kind
of
already
a
native
area.
Nice
nice
second
section,
will
turn
completely
into
native
and
then
the
third
section
we.
F
I
was
just
gonna,
say:
I,
walk
that
Park
a
lot
and
right
now
I
see
like
the
sprinklers
flooding
it
all
the
time
like.
Even
when
it's
raining.
So
that's
great,
you
guys
are
doing
that.
C
C
Put
water
right
back
into
into
the
creek
there,
so
it
it's
a
challenge
for
us
sure.
So
the
next
slide
is
that
kind
of
black
diagonal
area
just
a
close-up
of
it.
So
this
is
kind
of
where
the
current
playground
is
up
there,
and
this
is
just
a
closer
up
of
that
particular
area,
hoping
to
do
a
flush
toilet
up
there.
A
lot
of
people
who've
asked
for
toilets
up
there.
You
know
you
take
your
kids
to
Northwest
and
then,
as
soon
as
you
get
there,
then
you
can
use
the
restroom.
So
it's
something!
C
All
right,
so
this
one
is
this:
is
our
Southwest
Green
belts,
so
this
one
would
be
Rotolo
would
be
up
to
the
top
left.
So
if
you
start
at
Rotolo,
you
can
walk
the
path
all
the
way
to
the
end.
Here's
the
neighborhood.
So
this
one
is,
let's
see
so
this
one
we're
gonna
go
on
the
north
side
of
the
path
to
turn
all
the
way
into
native.
In
that
area,
the
furthest
down
to
the
right
is
all
grass,
and
that
will
be
another
small.
C
You
know
play
feature
nature
place
to
feature
in
that
bottom
area.
Adrian.
What
is
it
currently
you're
saying?
Internally?
It's
alter
It's
All
Turf.
So
so
what
will
the
watering
change
be
for
that
area?
Then?
Is
there
it's
hard
to
guess
you
know
you
could
easily
say
it's
going
to
get
cut
in
half,
so
it's
hard
to
guess:
okay,
it
would
be
significant,
it
would
be
significant.
C
C
Silver
that
match
all
right.
This
is
Miller,
so
this
one
you
just
kind
of
threw
in
there
this
we
want
to
kind
of
turn
into
a
big
neighborhood,
Gathering
area.
You
know
potential
concert,
area,
Splash,
Pad,
special
events,
it's
close
to
PE
they
want
to
do
some
diagonal
parking
top
left
is
where
the
current
parking
area
is
so
the
brown
shaded
areas
would
be
the
natives
areas
kind
of
around
the
perimeter.
I
C
I
A
Little
bit,
that's
all
right.
Some
action
items
from
us
I
mean
we'd
love
to
partner
in
any
way.
If
we
can,
if
we
can
just
be
a
champion
for
any
initiatives
that
you
guys
have,
a
letter
of
recommendation
would
be
helpful
that
was
available
for.
E
A
F
D
Talked
about
the
bond
Initiative
for
Pirates
Cove,
that
Bond
initiative
is
going
to
build
tours
of
parks
as
well.
So
that's
one
of
the
things
that
we're
going
for
that
Bond
initiative
people
bring
up
bring
to
life
more
of
these
items
at
the
park.
So
when
that
stuff
gets
close,
we're
bringing
to
you
as
well.
C
I
C
A
What
tax
dollars
should
be
going
to
any
final
questions?
Christine,
you
have
one
and
we.
A
J
You
have
to
get
one
off
the
wall,
question
right.
Sure
I
thought
you
already
did
that:
okay,.
J
So
we
heard
that
the
City
ditch
was
being
converted
to
underground
pipes,
and
so
I
was
wondering
if
there
are
portions
of
that
that
aren't
on
people's
Lawns
right
now,
that
could
be
turned
into
a
little
walking
path
or
or
something
just
for
more
places
for
people
to
walk
their
dogs.
Maybe
that's
a
water
department.
That's.
C
I
D
C
J
E
How
could
we
help
that
conversation
to
occur?
Is
there
anything
we
could
do
to
just
raise
a
flag,
get
departments
to
talk
to
each
other
or
put
it
on
somebody's
agenda?
You
don't
have
to
answer
on
the
spot,
but
I
mean
if
you
came
up
with
an
idea
for
us.
We'd,
certainly
entertain
it
trying
to
support
the
cause.
Maybe.
A
Do
that
we've
got
some
follow-up
and
it
sounds
like
you:
vml
might
reach
out
to
Jessica
to
do
some
work
up
north,
but
if
there's
any
action,
let
us
know
we'd
be
able
to
write
a
letter
of
recommendation
even
Explore,
that
the
initial
Grant
process,
if
there's
some
work,
we
can
do
on
that
front.
Please
keep
us
surprised
of
what's
going
on
with
with
these
projects,
because
super
exciting
stuff.
A
A
Which
I
believe
last
month,
I
hinted
that
we
would
kick
it
I
would
like
Christine
and
Mel
sort
of
lead.
This
part
of
the
discussion
we've
got
25
minutes
allotted
I,
know.
25
minutes
is
not
enough
time
to
have
a
full,
robust
conversation
on
energy
codes
in
the
city
of
Inglewood.
A
That
said,
I'd
like
to
see
what
we
can
get
into
tonight,
with
the
understanding
that
we
will
continue
this
conversation
offline
over
the
course
of
the
next
couple
of
weeks
before
our
April
meeting
and
depending
on
where
we
get
tonight,
I
had
discussed
with
Mel
that
if
there's
any,
you
know,
points
that
are
not
expressed
tonight
or
items
that
you
want
to
see
brought
up
and
if
we
need
to
develop
some
sort
of
an
action
item
to
vote
on
like
a
memo
or
something
before
April
we'll
do
that
over
the
course
of
the
next
few
weeks,
getting
feedback
in
and
then
voting
on
a
final
item
in
April.
A
B
End
of
March
I,
think
March,
27th,
that
the
energy
codes
will
go
as
a
study
session
to
city
council
and
then
it
is
April
17th
and
it's
the
first
reading
of
it
so
yeah
it
all
depends
on
you,
you
all.
If
you
want
to
have
a
conversation
about
it
and
then
do
a
memo
or
whatever
process.
Just
so
you
all
know
the
timeline
and.
A
B
27Th
March
27th,
that
is
so
the
package
for
actually
that
would
be
totally
fine,
because
that's
not
like
an
official,
so
memo
would
be
totally
fine.
Anything
official
in
their
meeting
has
to
be
two
weeks
prior
to
that,
but
similar
to
the
water.
Remember
I
mean
I
just
sent
that
via
email.
After
all,
on
your
behalf
in
episode.
A
J
J
Ideally
we
could
get
some
of
the
easier
ones
made
session.
I,
don't
know
if
the
Chief
Building
official,
which
will
be
willing
to
consider
some
of
the
easier
ones
more
policy
ones.
You
probably
have
to
talk
over
with
city
council.
So
that's
the
brief
overview
where
she's
proposing
me
or
the
city
is
proposing
adopting
the
latest
energy
code,
which
is
decent.
We
have
to
by
law
anyway,
so
yeah
yeah,
so
we're
basically
meeting
the
minimum
requirement.
J
We
have
to
adopt
the
same
Edition
as
ever
within
six
months,
which
means
we
have
to
adopt
it
by
July
9th.
Why.
A
J
J
J
First
of
all,
because
I
think
it's
really
pathetic
to
be
weaker
than
the
state
minimum
like
we
want
to
be
a
leader,
but
we're
actually
way
worse
and
then,
second
of
all,
if
we
don't,
if
we're
not
equivalent
with
the
state
minimum
code,
then
we
can't
get
any
grant
funding
service
for
implementation
for
staff
time
for
analysis.
Nothing!
That's
just
off
the
table.
We're
not
even
eligible
for
grant
funding,
so
I
would
think
this
could
use
some
tweaks
to
make
sure
that
we're
at
least
meeting
something
equivalent
to
the
state
minimum
yeah.
That.
C
J
So
all
of
this,
as
proposed
by
the
chief
building
official
official,
it
meets
the
2021
ice.
You
see
we
adopt
that.
So
that's
good
that
aligns
with
the
state
requirement
we're
adopting
solar
ready
and
we're
not
being
PD
ready.
J
So
then
the
devil's
in
the
details
about,
if
that's
functionally
equivalent
or
not,
but
we
would
be
completely
lacking
electric
ready
and
that's
the
part
that
puts
us
significantly
weaker
than
the
state
minimum
and
ineligible
for
all
of
the
state
and
federal
grant
funding
and
there's
a
lot
coming
down
the
pipeline,
but
only
in
the
next
couple
years.
Why.
J
The
state
says
that
you
there's
a
new
law
that
says
starting
July
1st.
Any
adoption
has
to
include
all
these
things
and
they're,
putting
a
bunch
of
money
to
help
that
happen.
Why.
E
A
J
It's
in
the
Strategic
plan,
so
that's
another
thing
that
supposedly
city
council
said
they
want
to
see
it
in
there
because
it's
in
the
Strategic
plan,
it's
not
requiring
anything
all
electric!
It's
just
saying.
If
you
do
put
in
gas,
you
know
you
have
to
have
a
little
Outlet
next
to
it,
so
you
could
swap
in
them
a
heat
pump
system
in
the
future
or
if
there's
a
gas
stove
at
least
an
electric
outlet
right
there,
so
that
you
could
put
in
an
electric
stove
in
the
future.
J
If
you
want
it's
just
essentially
allowing
for
Homeowner
choice
and
it
is
way
cheaper
to
do
it
up
front,
it's.
J
It's
about
300
for
a
stove
300
for
the
water
heater
and
nothing
for
the
furnace,
because
you
have
to
have
that
capacity
for
the
air
conditioner
anyway,
which
is
electric.
C
Include
an
anticipating,
fitting
good
for
heat
pump
is
that
electrical
manage.
J
I
liked
your
idea
of
preparing
a
memo
I
think
I
could
get
a
draft
memo.
My
tomorrow
morning.
J
A
I
mean
I
I
am
for
this.
I
do
want
to
I
mean
that
is,
that
is
an
added
cost
on
developers
or
on
Builders,
rather
I
just
want
to
acknowledge
that,
but
it
sounds
like
you'd
make
up
that
difference
fairly
quickly.
Yeah.
B
J
For
them,
okay,
good
idea
is.
J
State
money
to
come
offset
the
entire
code,
adoption
process,
implementation,
state
training,
staff,
time
best
practices
all
of
that
the
code
books
themselves,
but
we
don't
get
any
of
that
pot.
We
can't
even
apply
for
that
pot.
A
K
J
It
includes
the
size
of
the
panel,
but
it
doesn't
include
the
size
of
the
line,
because
that
you
don't
need
a
much
bigger
line
than
what
they're
already
putting
in,
and
you
typically
don't
need
a
bigger
panel
either.
You
just
have
to
make
sure
there's
space
on
the
panel
like
those
little
switches
to
make
sure
that
their
switches
for
it.
E
J
I
think
there
could
be
overall,
perhaps
misperceptions
about
housing,
affordability
and
and
any
added
costs
could
be
perceived
as
harming
housing
affordability,
but
when,
in
fact,
I
think
housing,
affordability
is
more
about
supply
and
demand
and
location
and
schools
and
amenities
than
it
is
about.
Whatever
code
is
in
place,.
I
E
You
know
when
you're,
when
you're
obsessed
on
pennies
on
a
hundred
thousand
dollar
project
just
doesn't
make
any
sense
to
me
like
and
in
your
cost
benefit
analysis.
Can
that
be
made
simply
clear
that
you
know
you
know
if
you
amortize
this
over
time.
It's
a
penny
a
week
over
the
next
20
years
or
something
yeah
but
I
mean
maybe
it
should
be
put
in
those
terms
not
in
a
smart,
alecky
kind
of
way,
but
I
mean
in
reality
right
yeah,
it's
a
thousand
dollars.
H
B
Yeah
the
thing
I
think
it
that
is
always
easier
for
any
city
or
town
is
when
they
see
that
a
lot
of
other
cities
and
towns
are
doing
it.
So
like
say,
we
have
these
ones
that
we're
proposing,
but
these
are
lower
than
all
our
neighbors
and
everyone
else
in
the
area.
That's
would
be
I,
think
it
might
per
Council
a
huge,
because
sometimes
it
is
scary,
being
the
first
and
the
most
aggressive.
J
C
There
a
reason
that
this
Karen
Montana's
didn't
include
it
I.
B
Find
out
yeah
I
can
definitely
ask
her
I.
Think
I
don't
want
to
speak
on
her
behalf.
I
know
there
have
been
a
lot
of
code
discussions
throughout
the
past
month,
so
I'm
wondering
if
this
was
kind
of
guidance.
That
could
be
wrong
though,
but
I
can
definitely
do
them
all
up
here
to
ask
kind
of
how
they
came
up
with
what
they
came.
A
J
Okay,
the
easy
ready
is
decent
average,
decent,
slash
to
average
there's
just
one
number,
where
I
think
it
should
be
tweaked.
It
should
be
five
percent
higher
for
multi-family,
because
if
you're
a
renter
you're
screwed
I
mean
you
can't
put
in
an
elect
an
EV
charger
in
an
apartment.
So
it's
important
that
it's
built
in
the
beginning,
a
homeowner
you
know
could
retrofit
it,
but
if
you're
a
renter
you
can't
so
it
seems
like
Evie.
So
Hamilton
family
seems
like
the
part
to
get
right.
J
J
L
L
J
I,
don't
know
it
could
stay,
it
could
stay
in
there,
but
I
think
the
idea
is.
We
want
a
lot
of
charging
where
people
are
going
to
stay
a
long
time,
and
so
it
seems
more
important
to
get
Homes
apartments
offices
and
like
hotels,
motels,
that
kind
of
place
and
as
long
as
we
have
public
charging
here
and
there
then
I
don't
know
that
you
need
to
have
one
at
a
random
industrial
facility
installed.
E
I
L
L
I
E
And
so
just
for
my
clarification
well,
this
this
came
to
us
from
Karen
and
she's
asking
for
our
feedback,
she's
saying
what
do
you
think
of
this,
and
so
we're
going
to
say:
here's
what
we
think
of
it
so.
B
She's
presenting
to
city
council-
and
it
was
requested
by
the
sustainability
commission
to
look
at
the
codes,
so
the
commission
actually
requested
to.
E
J
J
So
if
it's
a
multi-family
building,
that's
two
or
three
stories
or
the
six
seven
liar,
they
would
not
be
included
as
written
and
when
I
gathered.
That
was
an
accident
at
the
code
writing
process
at
the
national
level
like
they
were
talking
to
each
other.
So
we
got
missed,
and
that
seems
like
an
easy
change
and
I
hope
not
objectionable,
because
there's
no
reason
that
only
four
and
five
story
buildings
would
have
to
do
it.
A.
A
C
Have
a
question
about
that:
there's!
Nothing
in
here
about
orientation,
a
building
that
I'm
personal
experience
here.
You
know
I
only
have
so
many
roof
sections
that
would
qualify
for
actual
solar
and
it
it's
hard
for
not
conduiting,
building
and
conduits
to
be
able
to
address
that.
If
you
don't
have
a
thought
about
where
those
are
going
to
be,
you
can't
build
conduit
yeah.
C
K
E
Could
I
just
throw
out
an
idea?
This
is
just
an
idea
to
cogitate
on
there's
all
kinds
of
discussion
about
zoning
changes
and
all
these
possibilities
in
Englewood
everybody's
excited
and
enthused
and
energized.
It's
all
good
I
think
it's
healthy,
but
here's
an
example.
We
just
talked
about
where
sustainability,
intersects
zoning
codes
and
construction
and
that's
just
one
but
I
mean
there's
a
clear
interception
here,
and
so,
if
you
said
in
the
future,
what
is
englewood's
position
on
solar
energy?
What
about
logistics
is
that
is
that
mentioned
in
the
code?
E
How
how
much
is
enough
I
think
somewhere
down
the
road
not
tonight
but
somewhere
down
the
road
I
think
the
sustainability
commission
should
wrestle
with
some
of
these
questions
and
perhaps
bring
these
issues
to
council
for
consideration.
Not
given
them
granule
granular
orders
saying
you
need
to
do
this,
but
I
think
there's
there's
a
lot
here.
That's
coming
to
light!
Excuse
the
pun.
It's
relevant
yeah!
It's
very
real!
My
daughter
lives
just
north
of
a
parking
lot
in
Inglewood
and
I.
Think
someday
it's
going
to
get
developed
if
she
ever
wanted
solar.
E
How
high
that
building
is,
is
going
to
have
everything
to
do
with
her
property
values
and
her
ability
to
put
silver
in
and
there's
many
examples
like
that,
so
I
just
think
not
tonight,
but
I
think
somewhere
down
the
road.
We
ought
to
wrestle
with
this
and
maybe
come
up
with
a
recommendation
or
some
ideas
to
float
by
Council,
because
codes
are
being
discussed
and
I
think
there's
some
really
good
ideas
for
enhancing
them,
clarifying
them
and
I.
Think
solar
for
sure
and
I
also
think
landscaping
and
waterings.
K
K
You
know
too
close
to
your
property
buying
or
Too
Tall
on
your
fence
line,
or
something
like
that
where
for
the
purpose
of
solar
or
the
purpose
of
sustainable
gardening,
with
greenhouses,
where
you
get
exceptions-
and
it's
probably
too
hard
for
us
to
draft
anything,
if,
if
there's
not
something
else
that
you
have
in
your
computer,
ready
to
press
send
on,
but
code
breaking
so
to
speak
would
be
important
for
sustainability
too.
It
seems.
J
Solar
rally,
which
is
just
the
space
on
your
roof
and
a
conduit
and
a
space
on
your
electrical
panels.
It's
just
like
dipping
your
big
toe
into
the
pool,
and
it's
so
minor,
it's
so
minuscule,
compared
to
what
could
or
should
be
done
with
solar
requirements
on
certain
buildings.
Some
jurisdictions
in
Colorado
are
saying:
weren't
for
commercial.
You
just
have
to
put
in
some
solar
and
then
solar
access
law
would
be
the
next
one
like
you
can't
infringe
on
your
neighbor's
solar
access
with
all
these
different.
The.
B
J
So
that's
that's
kind
of
it,
but
right
now,
there's
nothing
stopping
your
next
door,
neighbor
who's
right,
close
to
your
lot
line
from
building
a
huge
house
that
would
be
I,
guess
something
you
hope
the
zoning
code
would
address
anyway.
We
certainly
with
the
scale
of
houses
per
neighborhood.
Here
we
go
here.
A
We
go
all
comes
together,
I,
you
came
in
under
time,
I
sure
three
minutes
any
comments.
Questions
online
I
just
want
to
make
sure.
A
I
think
that's
due
diligence,
yes,
I
think
we
need
to
get
some
answers
from
Karen.
Maybe
there's
some
points
that
we
haven't
been
able
to
consider
just
because
we
just
don't
know
but
I
think
over
the
next
couple
of
days
we
can
hear
back
from
Karen
and
get
some
that's
Karen
right.
B
A
Can
get
some
feedback
on
our
discussion
points
tonight
and
the
questions
that
were
raised
that
we
might
not
have
answers
to
then
I
think
we
start
building
the
memo
yes
and
say
this
is
a
b
c
d.
What
we'd
like
to
see
changed
in
this
document
and
I
would
send
it
to
her
I
think
it
does
just
simply
out
of
respect
and
get
it
get
her
thoughts
on
it
and
then
yes,
with
the
Frank
ask
of.
Can
you
incorporate
this?
B
J
I
A
C
A
And
I
think
we're
going
to
put
it
a
little
bit
on
you
to
keep
us
on
time
with
these
different
with
these
varying
timelines.
To
just
send
to
have
communication
with
Karen
send
back
what
she
had.
What
she
comes
back
to
us
with
and
then
say
book
commission
we
need,
we
need
to
be
back,
you
know
EOB,
Thursday
or
something,
and
then
we
can
go
from
there
and.
E
A
Should
be
answered,
I
think
this
is
a
prime
opportunity
for
us
to
show
value
as
a
commission
to
that
Council
and
to
the
executive
departments
of
the
city
of
like
hey
what,
whether
or
not
you
call
on
us
for
our
opinion.
We
are
looking
at
these
things
yeah,
paying
attention
we're
going
to
give
you
our
opinion
yeah.
A
So
please
cue
Us
in
early
and
often
because
we
have
thoughts
and
I.
Think
as
a
collective
hive
mind
can
improve
these
documents
before
they
guilty
count.
A
A
Let's
talk
April
meeting
and
then
then
Mel
will
give
us
a
quick
update
and
then
we've
got
a
few
minutes
might
give
us
a
little
biochar
a
little
biocharger
a
couple
minutes.
Okay,
we
can
do
that.
Anna
has
a
question
if
it's
on,
if
it's
related
to
the
April
meeting,
go
for
it
Dana.
A
B
Yeah
so,
as
I
said
in
the
last
meeting,
William
checking
was
my
spec
lead
in
grad,
school
and
I
went
to
grad
school
for
urban
resilience
and
sustainability.
I
know,
there's
been
a
lot
of
topics
of
development
sustainability,
how
those
Collide
kind
of
exactly
what
Mike
just
said
and
when
I
think
of
someone
who's
like
a
professional
in
this
sustainable
development
realm.
It
is
this
guy
like
he
knows
everything
I've
just
always
been
so
impressed
by
this
guy
and
he's
just
a
great
human
being.
Just
a
quick
and
dirty
background
on
him.
B
He's
worked
in
the
non-profit
space.
He
did
law
for
environmental
justice
groups.
B
He
was
yeah,
he
was
an
attorney
and
was
in
the
space
a
lot
and
then
really
wanted
to
put
that
what
he
learned
into
practice
around
sustainable
development.
He
didn't
think
it
had
to
be
a
theory,
and
so
he
became
the
sustainable
developer.
He's
done
really
cool
projects
that
benefit
the
economy,
the
people
and
the
environment.
B
Yeah
I
could
just
gush
on
it
all.
He
was
the
coolest
dude,
so
I
had
reached
out
to
him
just
saying
like
hey,
we
have
a
group
that
could
be
interested.
Do
you
you
mind
volunteering?
A
time
he's
like
absolutely
put
me
down,
so
we
get
an
hour
of
his
time
for
the
next
meeting.
I
did
sound
out,
send
out
a
poll
just
to
kind
of
gauge
what
you
all
are
interested
in
learning,
I'm,
going
to
reason
it
to
him.
So
please,
please
fill
that
out.
What's.
B
The
19th
I'll
send
out
another
reminder
tomorrow,
but
yeah
seriously
bring
all
your
questions.
Thank
you.
E
A
city
like
Englewood
yeah,
you
use
us
as
the
Prototype,
but
it
could
be
water,
it
could
be
energy,
it'd
be
solar,
it
could
be
renewable
energy.
I'll
bet,
you
he's,
got
a
bunch
of
examples
that
would
be
fascinating
to
hear
about
I'd
like
to
be
inspired.
C
D
B
A
Thanks
for
getting
him
queued
up
for
us.
H
Yeah,
okay!
Well,
it's
a
perfect
segue
I'm.
Sorry
I
can't
turn
on
my
camera
because
I'll
lose
the
call,
but
so
I
have
a
few
concerns
that
I
thought
were
appropriate
to
bring
to
the
commission
and
the
perfect
segue
which
Mike
already
telepathically
brought
up
is
with
the
within
zoning
discussion.
H
I'm,
not
hearing
a
conversation
about
how
we
protect
some
ecological
value-
and
you
know
like
this.
The
zoning
changes
are
going
to
increase
Urban
density
and
that's
okay,
it's
if
we're
planning
for
that
to
have
some
habitat
areas
and
and
some
requirements
for
the
new
buildings
and
some
protection
of
like
really
mature
trees
that
are
on
properties
that
would
get
cut
down
for
big
development.
H
So
just
wanted
to
bring
that
to
you
guys
attention
and
it
would
be
a
perfect
thing
to
ask
William
shouldkin
about
how
you
how
you
protect
some
ecological
corridors
and
I'm
thrilled
to
see
Park's
plans.
Those
look
great,
it's
great
to
see
the
native
habitat,
but
how
do
we
keep
it
throughout
communities?
So
it's
not
just
in
parks.
H
So
that's
number
one
number
two:
the
changes
to
the
Strategic
plan
that
were
discussed
last
night
at
the
city
council
meeting
I,
see
throughout
that
beautification
and
place
making
are
referred
to
repeatedly
and
but
beautification
is
not
defined.
And
that
to
me
is
a
very
you
know:
it's
a
matter
of
opinion.
H
What's
beautiful
and
and
I
I'm
I
don't
see
anything
in
there
about
the
the
Landscaping
being
sustainable,
ecologically
and
there's
there's
a
lot
of
places
where
it
there's
mention
of
getting
grants
for
beautification
and
place,
making
developing
a
budget
of
funds
dedicated
to
place,
making
exploring
grants
and
other
funding
opportunities
that
focus
on
neighborhood
beautification,
and
so
this
is
a
priority,
but
I
I
would
like
to
see
that
defined
in
a
ecologically
beneficial
way.
H
H
So
so
yeah
as
as
our
Urban
density
increases,
I'd
like
to
see
that
and
if
we
can't
solve
these
problems
like
we
have
this
really
accessible
tool
in
native
plants.
For
solving
all
these
problems.
We've
lost
a
third
of
our
wild
birds
in
North
America
since
1970,
and
it's
because
of
habitat
loss,
and
so
we
need
our
Landscapes
to
achieve
more
than
just
Aesthetics
for
humans
and
on
a
city
the
size
of
Englewood.
We
should
be
able
to
implement
these
Solutions
so
that
the
and
I
won.
H
So
that
was
my
my
concerns
and
then
one
ask
of
you
guys
or
proposal
for
you
guys
to
consider
is
I
I
wanted
to
have
a
bio
Blitz
at
Depot
Park
for
several
years
now,
and
why
do
bio
Blitz
is?
Is
it's
a
pollinator
and
Wildlife
count
and
you
do
it
at
the
same
time
year
after
year,
and
you
can
measure
the
impact
of
putting
in
native
plants
and
it's
a
pretty
darn
easy
thing
to
do,
because
the
Butterfly
Pavilion
for
last
summer
was
500.
H
Bucks
I,
don't
know
what
the
cost
is
this
year
they
will
come
and
Lead
it
and
all
the
city
has
to
do,
is
pay
them
500
bucks
and
set
a
date
and
promote
it,
and
it's
a
great
Community
engagement
activity
and
educational
and
yeah
so
I
could
share
information,
but
I
I'd
love
to
see
you
guys
consider
taking
the
lead
on
on
that
activity.
This
summer.
H
It
could
be
June
July,
it
could
be
June,
July
or
August.
I'd,
say
July
would
be
pretty
great.
The
only
issue
is
just
doing
it
at
the
same
time
every
year
and
I
think
it
would
be
interesting
to
also
do
a
count
across
the
street
at
Cushing
or
at
some
other
flower
beds,
to
see
the
difference,
but
that's
not
essential.
C
Dan
Dana,
this
is
red.
Do
you
with
this
500,
be
an
annual
thing
then.
A
E
Up
the
next
couple,
I
think
it's
worth
asking,
because
in
the
past
keep
Englewood
beautiful
yeah.
There
was
always
the
understanding
that
if
Ked
or
sustainability
wanted
money
for
something
they
were
allowed
to
ask,
there
was
no
promise
that
the
city
would
would
cough
up
the
doe,
but
it
was
always
understood.
E
E
We
can
always
ask
or
there's
another
budget
over
here
and
if
it's
under
so
many
hundred
dollars,
so
it's
not
inconceivable
that
the
city
might
say
sure,
and
if
it's
500
bucks
a
year
roughly
but
to
me
it's
a
great
opportunity
for
education
and
then
highlighting
again
what
Dan
is
saying:
they
work,
here's
one
that
works,
so
it
would
help
the
educational
piece
which
was
in
the
original
thinking
so
I
I
would
support
that.
We.
A
Already
asked
we
are
at
eight
o'clock,
I
think
Dana.
This
is
something
that
potentially
me
and
Cara
and
yourself
could
huddle
I.
Think
at
least
car
and
I
are
part
of
the
Native
landscape
subcommittee
that
we
sort
of
pseudo
created
so
I
think
we
get
our
heads
together
in
the
next
couple
of
weeks
and
see
what
an
action
step
would
look
like
for
the
commission,
even
if
that's
an
ask
for
500
bucks
yeah.
A
So
that's
okay
with
you
I'm
happy
to
do
it.
If
that's
okay,
with
the
commission
I'm
happy
to
initiate
that
conversation,
and
we
can
go
from
there.
H
Yeah,
totally
and
and
yeah,
if
we're
done
with
that,
my
last
comment:
I'd
love
to
hear
from
you
Mel
the
updates
to
about
the
turf
replacement
program.
Yes,.
B
Yeah
super
utilized
way
ahead
of
closing
time
very
popular
program.
The
lawn
replacement
program
already
surpassed
the
applicants
that
we
have
rebates
for.
So
that
also
is
really
popular.
The
work
hasn't
been
done
yet
for
those,
but
the
last
time
I
checked.
We
had
close
to
30
applicants
and
we
can.
We
have
11
readings
available,
the
good
good
sign.
So
hopefully,
this
program
just
keeps
growing
and
it's
a
staple
for
angle.
One.
J
Yeah
question
for
Mal
and
Dana
the
parks
department,
natural
areas
they
were
talking
about.
Are
there
any
state
grants
that
we
can
apply
for
anything
from
mentor
for
placement.
H
B
J
B
H
Yeah
yep
there's
that
there's
Great
Outdoors
Colorado
grants.
There's
the
Arapahoe
County
open
space.
There's
a
lot.
E
E
H
Yeah
and
Mel
I
would
love
to
see
discussion
about
what
goes
in
if
the
city
is
paying
for
people
to
remove
their
turf
I,
don't
see
any
specification
about
what
what
they
have
to
replace
it
with
and
I
know
in
other
cities.
That's
been
like
part
of
their
learning
curve
is
learning
that
they
have
to
be
clear
about
that
or
they
get
unintended
consequences.
B
So
for
resource
Central,
they
have
to
one
prove
that
they
removed
at
least
200
square
feet
of
terp
grass,
and
then
they
guide
them
through
what
they
should
be
planting
or
they
can
get
the
Garden
in
a
box
which
is
already
low
water
and
over
80
percent
native,
and
they
resource
Central,
told
me
they're,
aiming
for
100
native
plants.
It's
just
hard
with
the
I.
H
Know
so,
they're
and
they're
doing
great
this
year
and
they're
it's
great
that
the
city's
teaming
with
them
but
I,
don't
think
they
have
oversight
once
they
remove
the
turf
like
they
may
give
suggestions,
but
then
they
leave
and
I
just
sing.
What
I've
heard
from
other
cities
Turf
replacement
programs
is
that
without
having
requirements
for
what
goes
in
and
having
education,
they
ended
up
with
a
lot
of
unintended
consequences
in
the
form
of
people's
Landscapes,
failing
and
just
filling
it
with
rock
or
artificial
turf.
I
A
You
Dana
thanks
Dan
Mel.
B
Okay,
it's
always
so
hard,
so
I
rush
over
this
to
get
everyone
out,
but
I
have
been
doing
a
lot
of
work
for
sustainability,
so
I
just
want
to
let
you
all
know
what's
been
in
the
Wheelhouse
we're
applying
for
that
Trooper
placement
Grant,
that's
due
by
the
end
of
the
month,
even
though
we're
already
doing
the
program
we're
trying
to
recoup
some
of
the
and.
B
Nope,
it's
actually
a
pretty
simple
application,
so
we
thought
of
a
thank
you
we're
currently
in
the
process
of
doing
the
energy
performance
Contracting,
which
is
a
fancy
way
of
doing
a
comprehensive
energy
and
water
audit
of
every
single
building.
I
last
month
have
become
the
lead
on
that
project.
So,
if
you
have
any
questions,
let
me
know
for
the
electric
vehicle
action
plan
work.
We
are
going
to
City
Council
on
April
3rd
for
a
study
session
where
they
get
a
look
at
the
draft
plan.
Hopefully
Christine
can
attest.
B
It
looks
very
snazzy,
pretty
proud
of
it
and
there's
going
to
be
public
comment
open
too.
We
have
an
event
on
March
25th.
If
you
want
to
come,
look
at
some
EVS
grab
a
Nixon's
coffee,
we'll
be
right
outside
Saturday,
March,
25th,
cool
I'm
excited
about
that
and
I'm
also
working
with
the
city
of
Sheridan
to
do
a
dual
city
of
Sheridan
and
Englewood
event
for
Evie's
to
late
April,
and
then
we
go
the
week
of
April
17th,
so
very
close
to
Earth
Day
to
hopefully
have
the
plan
adopted.
B
So
if
you
all
want
to
tune
in
feel
free,
the
compost,
drop-off
site,
Parks
and
Rec
kind
of
went
over
that
a
little
bit
was
a
long
time
coming
and
we're.
Finally
getting
that
rolled
out.
Hopefully
soon,
honestly
I
could
see
us
having
an
update
that
it's
fully
started
by
next
month.
B
B
So
we
had
a
last
minute
pivot,
we're
still
hoping
to
do
one,
and
if
so,
it
would
be
Saturday
April
22nd
from
12
to
3.
We
want
to
do
it
after
the
river
cleanup.
A
B
Platte
renews
so
yeah
be
aware
of
that
and
I
can
send
out
the
information.
I.
Don't
think
Southpaw
renew
has
that
up
yet,
but
hopefully
there
will
be
one.
If
there
is
one.
The
sustainability
commission
always
gets
a
free
table
if
they
want
to
come,
but
I
can
reach
out
to
members
that
doesn't
have
to
be
about
it's
just
tabling
if
anyone
would
be
interested
yeah,
okay,
the
final
two
we're
progressing
on
soulsmart.
We
have
almost
all
our
prereqs
done.
B
We
already
did
some
soul,
smart
code
training
and
my
goal
is
to
have
us,
buy
bronze
well
before
the
end
of
the
year,
so
chugging
along
on
that
and
then
we're
making
really
good
Headway
with
our
low
income,
Energy
Efficiency
Outreach
plan
and
strategy,
I'm
hoping
to
have
a
presenter
into
you,
all
of
not
only
our
energy
function,
Englewood
program
to
talk
more
about
that,
but
also
grid
Alternatives,
which
is
a
non-profit
that
does
free
solar
for
low
income
folks
and
then
to
kind
of
show
you
all
the
draft
plan
that
I
have
so
far,
so
you
all
can
give
comments
of
what
you
like
and
what
you
don't
like.
A
We're
just
saying
calendar
holes,
whatever's
easiest
last
piece
before
be
a
Jarred
which
I
can
do
it.
We
do
have
a
vacancy,
a
permanent
vacancy,
so
and
I
know.
Tiana
is
an
alternate
member.
Currently,
our
only
alternate
member.
So
logically,
if
Tian
is
interested.
Perhaps
that
could
be
a
conversation
that
you.
A
On
it,
if
you're
interested
we'd
love
to
have
you
on
as
a
full
member,
you
sort
of
have
first
round
of
refusal
there,
but
just
wanted
to
put
that
into
the
medicine
for
you
to
think
about,
and
if
you
and
Mel
want
to
connect
before
the
next
meeting
either
way.
Just
let
us
know-
and
we
can-
we
can
take-
take
action
on
that,
but
we
do
have
a
vacancy.
So
just
keep
that
in
mind.
I
think
that's
it.
B
That
applications
for
the
commission
will
open,
I,
think
March
22nd.
So
within
the
next
week
or
two,
the
sustainability
commission
members,
it
is
supposed
to
be
on
y'all
to
record
or
just
Network
and
try
to
recruit
to
get
people
on.
If
you
know
of
anyone,
okay,
so
feel
free
to
just
send
that
link
out
or
if
you
know
other
Englewood
residents
that
would
be
interested.
Okay
feel
free
to
pass
it
on
to
them.
E
Biochar
biochar's
in
action
purchase
the
biochar
about
seven
bags.
Three
of
those
bags
are
being
activated
right
now
with
compost
and
soil.
E
Four
of
those
bags
are
still
pure
biochar
looks
like
May
26
the
week
of
May
22nd
is
when
the
flowers
are
going
to
arrive,
so
probably
that
Memorial
Day
weekend
that
Saturday
is
probably
the
day
we're
going
to
plant
flowers
I'm
trying
to
figure
out.
We
have
to
do
prep
and
it
might
be
I
could
do
it
myself
and
the
city
could
help
me
out,
but
we
got
to
clean
out
the
old
stuff
and
trim
some
bushes
get.
E
20Th
pardon
before
the
20th
before
the
yeah
for
that
Saturday
yeah,
so
I
guess
I
would
say
please
pencil
and
don't
leave
town
that
weekend,
that
time
frame
and
I'll
keep
you
posted
and
I'm,
hoping
that
if
the
volunteers
arrived
on
Saturday,
we
could
get
things
planted
in
less
than
two
hours.
That's
my
goal,
and
now
I
would
ask
you
who
are
asking
you
all
these
things,
allegedly
there's
a
volunteer
effort
in
the
city
of
Englewood,
where
people
just
want
to
help
out.
We
could
use
some
help.
I
mean
yeah.
B
E
Make
one
or
two
or
three
of
us
could
do
it,
but
it's
pretty
basic,
dig
a
hole,
put
a
flower,
so
the
more
hands
the
better.
So
if
there
is
some
other
volunteer
effort
out
there,
even
one
person
could
make
a
difference.
So
I
would
just
ask
you
all
to
please
pencil
in
on
your
calendars
that
Saturday,
which
I
think
is
the
27th
of
the
week
and
I'll.
Do
everything
I
can
do
to
make
sure
everything's
ready?
So
if
you
arrive
at
10
o'clock
in
that
morning,
maybe
we
could
get
it
done
before
lunchtime.
E
Where
is
it
it's
the
right
side,
rec
center
right
in
front
the
results
right
and
there's
also
an
opportunity
that
we
could
have
a
casual
conversation
question
answer
that
just
people
who
want
to
know
about
biocharm
because
we'd
have
it
there
could
show
them
what
we're
doing
and
we
could
answer
basic
do's.
And
what
do
you
mean
activated
biochar
right?
You
know
what
what's
the
difference
and
all
that
kind
of
stuff.
So
that's
just
that'll
probably
happen
anyways,
but
we
could
talk
about
it
formally
into
communication.
E
If
we
wanted
to-
and
Adrian
has
said,
he
does
want
the
sustainability
commission
to
get
credit,
he
envisions
a
sign
going
into
the
rec
center.
That
says
something
like
biochar
experiment
brought
to
you
by
the
sustainability
which.
E
C
E
Yes,
okay
and
I
and
by
hope,
I'm
begging,
the
city
for
wood
chips.
I,
don't
know
if
I'm
gonna
get
a
yes,
my
hope
is
to
get
wood
chips
to
put
in
there,
which
would
help
suppress
some
of
the
weeds.
But
it
might
be
that
some
of
us
have
to
go
over
there
once
in
a
while
and
pull
weeds.
So
quarterly
visit.
That's
fine
yeah,
but
that's
like
if
you
stay
in
front
of
it.
It's
not
too
bad,
but
I,
yeah
and.
E
J
E
So
that's
it!
Yes
thank
you
and
I
guess
that
would
be
the
finishing
touches
and
if,
if
we
could
put
wood
chips
in
that
might
make
weeding
easier.
If
you
get
a
good
two
or
three
inches
of
wood
chips,
it's
suppressive
but
doesn't
stop.
But
just
to
reiterate
the
one
side
will
be
natural
with
bioteric
compost
activated
biochar
and
the
other
side
will
be
probably
straight.
E
Compost,
I
have
to
figure
that
out
and
regular
fertilizer
regular
water,
but
we
will
not
be
fertilizing
with
petrochemicals
on
the
biochar
side,
so
there
will
be
we're
trying
to
keep
it
as
apples
and
apples.
Yes,
we
can.
A
Keep
it
fair,
I
love
it.
Thank
you,
Mike
I'm
excited.
Will
you
will
you
somehow
get
us
dates
for
sure
for
prep
work
and
I've
I've
saved
the
date
on
my
calendar
for
the
27th?
It's.
E
Probably
going
to
come
together
about
that
last
week,
yeah
probably
gonna
all
cause
it
again.
It's
like
okay,
we're
gonna
prep
on
Wednesday
and
we're
gonna
plan
on
Saturday,
so
I'll
try
to
I'll
try
to
get
more
specific
as
soon
as
I
can
that's.
