that
we

will

half
million
that
we
are
going
to
receive
for
this,
which
we've
not
received
yet
right.
It's
supposed
to
be.

funds
ready

it

exactly

tell
by
the
detail

the

purchase

properties

riverfront,
and
you
can
see
the
summary
of
appraisals.

knew
we
gave

a
ton
of
detail

this.
The
entire
packet
has
lots
of
information
in
it,
but
the
summary
of
appraisals
we,
our
average
value,
was

and
our
purchase
price
was
1595.

playground
equipment.
We
also
installed
the
three
tennis
courts
that
are
there:
the
sand,
tennis
courts,
tennis
right,
no
volleyball
volleyball,

remodeled

upstairs

beach
after
it
was
non-used
for
years
and
made
into
a
clubhouse
it
had
we
made
a
big
bar.
We
used
it
for
wedding
receptions,
different
things
like
that.
We
had
all
kinds
of
utensils

back
in

day

put
up

christmas
decorations
across
main
street
and
the
big
large
bulbs.

on

parks

integral
part

life
in

madison

extremely
invaluable
resources

the
neighborhoods

they
reside,

visitors

people
who
we

as
we're
doing
festivals
and
those
types
of
things,
and
so

we're
embarking
on
kind

the
new
branding
of
how
we're
going

you

recognize
those
parks

this

re-envisioning

update
one
is
to
recognize
that
alcohol
is
permitted
in
parks
that
are
under
control
of
an
event
organizer
or
at
the
golf
course,
because
we
have
a.
We
have
a
legal
permit
to
sell
alcohol
at
the
golf
course
and
then
the
third
element
is
that
the
old
ordinance
actually
had
the
fee
structure
in
it
for
the
campground.

it
was
two
dollars
a
night,
and
that
was
a
long
long
time
ago
and
just
put
a
little
inflation
factor
on
it.
And
you
know
now
it's
about
40
40
to
45
a
night
at
campground,
and
so
because
the
park
board
was
already
empowered
to
set
the
rates,
the
use
for
the
user
fees,
eliminating
that
section
of
the
ordinance
eliminated
the
redundancy
that
existed
in
the
ordinance.

thrilled

park

I'm

recreational
therapist
and
so
to
put
the
two
together.
I
just
wanted
to
tell
you
that.

got
to
know
father
dapa
over
20
years
ago,
because
I
wanted
to
find
something
that
can
help
improve
people's
lifestyle
and
even
prevent
mental
illness,
and
I
found
out
that
you
know
by
addressing
stress
for
me
and
immunity,
which
is
a
big
thing.
Now.
You
need
to
take
care
of
your
all
of
your
mind,
body
and
spirit
right.

we

actually

daughter

madison
and
volunteer,
instructed

madison

many

madison

preserve

funding

redevelopment
budget

okra
to
see
if
additional
grant
monies
would
be
available.

we're
happy

announce

crystal
beach

restored

generation

hitting
the
bond

regular
basis

this

because
it's
much
needed
and

people
appreciate
it

have
an
opportunity

get
out

learn

safety
of
their
handgun,
how
to
operate
and
how
to
handle
a
safe
place,
extremely
important.

emphasize

there's

quality

life
element

change

community

calls

driven

department

of
madison
police

all

different
assignments,

them

then
we're
now

bringing
on
new
interns,

armstrong
started

it
was
we'll

always
done

fantastic
job
and

it's

see
young
people
want
to
serve

energy

excitement
and
curiosity

opinions

everything

the
five-year
park
plan
that
they're
drafting
now,
we've
hired
a
design
architect
firm
to
come
up
with
concepts
for
the
upgrading
of
several
of
our
community
parks,
as
well
as
it's
our
vision
to
create

new
community
park
on
the
hilltop
to
recognize
where
our
housing
growth
corridor
has
been.
We
think
that
now
is
the
opportunity
to
start
planning
for
actually
expanding
our
parks,
while
we're
upgrading
it
and
taking
on
crystal
beach
restoration
too.

tremendous
amount
of
work
being
done
in
parks.

program

are

So
we
passed
a
resolution
today
or
first
reading,
of
the
ordinance
today
relative
to
the
american
rescue
plan
plan
fund.
That
will
be
2.4
million
dollars,
but
the
real
opportunity
is
is
with
the
ready
program
that
governor
holcomb,
incorporated
into
the
new
budget
that
stands
for
regional
economic
development.
Acceleration
initiative,
governor
holcomb
and
through
state
legislature
has
increased
the
budget
by
500
million
dollars
for
promoting
economic
development
across
the
state.

It
looks
like
the
guidance
is
going
to
be
about
50
million
dollars,
each
per
region
and
10
regions
in
the
state.
This
has
been
done
before,
but
a
lot
of
the
investment
through
the
regional
cities
initiative
was
really
focused
in
central
and
northern
indiana
we're
a
member
of
the
southern
indiana
redevelopment
authority.
There
are
five
counties
in
that
rda
and
what
we'll
be
working
on
on
a
pretty
quick
time
frame,
basically
over
the
course
of
the
next
45
days
or
so
or
all
of
the
projects.

That
will
that
we
are
that
we
have
in
development
across
the
city
to
submit
to
the
southern
indiana
rda.
That
will
then
incorporate
you
know
those
projects
of
regional
benefit
to
the
regional
development
plan
and
those
will
be
submitted
to
the
indian
economic
development
commission
for
evaluation
scoring
with
an
intense
anticipated
award
date
by
the
end
of
this
year.
So
it's
a
really
really
quick
timetable.

I
estimate
that
that
that
50
million
dollar
state
funding
combined
with
a
local
match
and
private
capital,
that's
part
of
the
capital
stack,
could
generate
about
300
million
or
more
per
region.
Lieutenant
governor
crouch,
who
was
here
last
week,
says
we're
aiming
too
low.
She
says
it's
going
to
be
more,
like
you
know,
8
to
10
billion
across
the
state
of
investment.
That's
going
to
happen
with
this
initiative
with
this
500
million
dollar
initiative,
so
a
lot
to
be
seen
there,
but
we
are
working
on
infrastructure,
quality
of
life
parks.

Utilities
infrastructure
lots
of
different
things
across
the
city
that
are
extremely
capital
intensive
that
hopefully
some
of
those
will
will
be
of
regional
interest
and
will
be
submitted
as
part
of
the
regional
development
plan.
So
more
to
come
on
that,
but
in
case
you
hear
the
vernacular
of
arp
already
that's
what
we're
talking
about
and
those
are
the
dollars
that
are
attached
to
I'll.

a
deep
breath
there
and

Broadband
is
included
and
it
is
one
of
the
eligible
uses
for
the
arp
monies
and
it
is
a
priority
of
government
homes,
definitely
parks
and
trails
or
other
priorities
in
other
other
ways,
but
in
addition
to
arp
and
ready,
you
know,
there's
there's
all
kinds
of
grant
applications
we're
submitting
for
consideration,
but
you
know
with
e-learning
and
just
the
remote
access
that
people
need.
We
need
to
do
a
better
job
across
the
city.
