Defining a Metaverse that is Responsible by Design: Building Secure and Private Enterprise-Grade NFT - Bjorn Obermeier, Accenture
Today, many companies are hesitant to engage in the digital asset economy because of a wide range of risks. Building and scaling in the metaverse is dependent in part on the creation of enterprise-grade NFT systems that enable secure, confidential, and resilient transactions. This presentation will examine metaverse use cases, define what it means to build a responsible metaverse by design, and how enterprise-grade NFT platforms could drive mainstream adoption and drive value for businesses and consumers alike.

Demo: Low-Code Development Tooling For FT & NFT Applications on Hyperledger Fabric - Mark Rakhmilevich & Gourav Sarkar, Oracle
Without native Fabric token support, developing an application with fungible and non-fungible tokens involves high complexity and requires specialized expertise to build the complete token life cycle with Hyperledger Fabric chaincodes. Using low-code Blockchain App Builder tool created by Oracle for its blockchain platform, this demo will show how developers, consultants and business users can rapidly create production-ready fungible and non-fungible token chaincodes with built-in security. The low code approach for token chaincodes simplifies development & maintenance and expedites the adoption of tokenization due to low development cost and faster time-to-market for any application release. You will see how this tool uses simple json or yaml templates to specify token anatomy, tailor token behaviors and related properties, add custom properties and methods if needed. We'll then show the auto-generation in TypeScript or Go of core methods required to support behaviors and properties, and additional wrapper functions for full token lifecycle for FTs and NFTs. The generated chaincodes can be deployed locally or to remote blockchain nodes and invoked through REST APIs.

Exploring the Path of Legitimate NFTs in China - Yifan He, Red Date Technology
Yifan will introduce BSN and BSN Distributed Digital Certificate (BSN-DDC) Network. He will give an informative speech about the NFT market in China, and the future of the blockchain industry. “NFT/DDC technology is a digital certification and distributed database technology that can be applied in any scenario where digital proof is required. We anticipate billions of DDCs issued annually in China in the future. The biggest market for DDCs lies in certificate and account management for all types of businesses”, said Yifan He, CEO of Red Date Technology and Executive Director of BSN Development Association. In China, the BSN-DDC Network offers the most diverse, transparent, credible, sustainable, and reliable environment for DDC-related business platforms to mint and manage their DDCs. Unlike existing NFTs deployed on private chains controlled by one entity, or other available options in China, the BSN-DDC Network is a public infrastructure that employs a multi-party governance model to ensure the decentralization, transparency, and authenticity of the network.

Token Economies: Moving Beyond NFTs - Michael Klein, Accenture
The world is a buzz about NFTs with every media publication, startup, and technology executive claiming NFTs are the ‘next big thing’. However, non-fungible tokens are only half the picture, and overlook the full range of tokenization options available to transform the way we work and live. “Token economies” encompasses the true potential to unlock new forms of value transfer never before available in the digital world. What makes tokens different than traditional forms of value transfer? When should I use a fungible token vs a non-fungible token? Why does this truly matter to my business? Grounded in the Global Blockchain Business Council’s Token Taxonomy Framework, we will attempt to answer these questions to separate NFT hype from token reality.

The first of its kind, please join us for this three-part webinar series with Hyperledger member, ConsenSys. The series is focused on educating attendees on various use cases of Ethereum Mainnet and Hyperledger Besu. The series will go into detail on public mainnet deployments, and interoperability and security challenges to keep in mind. It will also cover DeFi and NFTs as well as recent technical developments.
Session 3: NFTs / Layer 2
Title: NFTs: A new Milestone to be achieved for Blockchain adoption?
Date : November 16- Time zone: 8amPST/11amEST/5pmCEST
Speaker:
•Johnna Powell, Global Co-Head, ConsenSys’ NFT BU
Description:
As Joe Lubin recently shared in CoinTelegraph “NFTs are enabling artists and content owners to recognize that their intellectual property can have different rights and different rates if they wish. These can then be monetized and sold to different people in really flexible and programmatic ways. It’s really about the artist not having to sell their soul to make a living, which is really exciting from the enterprise perspective.” Join us for a specific NFTs session to be up to date on the most recent technical developments and how artists, brands, gaming representatives and communities are taking over blockchain technology and the metaverse. We will also go through the scalability solutions and the L2 protocols in the ecosystem.
-----
In the “Hyperledger In-depth: An hour with… .” series, Hyperledger members share learnings from their projects and try to answer all the hard questions about the pains of working with DLTs. It is not yet another webinar: participants will be encouraged to take part, come with prepared questions and voice opinions. Expect live demos and tutorials, stories from the battle field and hopefully some heated discussions. Let's get out of the zoom fatigue and engage to share experiences and build a stronger community.

A presentation hosted by Hyperledger's Media and Entertainment Special Interest Group on July 13, 2021 featuring Matt Mason, Chief Content Officer at Palm. Palm NFT Studio collaborates with creatives, artists, marketplaces, and rights holders to bring projects and platforms into the Palm ecosystem. The Palm ecosystem was designed from the ground up to be as flexible as artists are creative. Today, we are making NFTs easier and more efficient to use with an Ethereum sidechain, and have a roadmap to decentralize over time.

Utility NFTs on Hyperledger Fabric - Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, Staque
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have taken the market by storm. However, all notable examples - music, sports, digital art - can be classified as "design tokens" (dNFTs) as they primarily gain value through aesthetic or emotional appeal. We believe there is a whole untapped market for "utility tokens" (uNFTs) that would derive value from functionality and utility certificates. While dNFTs are easily minted on public blockchains with contract-oriented programming support, the complexity of uNFTs requires chaincode execution in a general language, and often, in permissioned settings. This makes Hyperledger Fabric a perfect fit for our use cases which include uNFTs for compiling and trading provably valid data, tokenizing machine learning models with performance certificates, and using the above for lifecycle management of ESG projects attached to green and sustainability bonds. The second application will be demonstrated, and the rest discussed during the talk.
