From YouTube: Kubernetes Public Steering Committee Meeting 20200601
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
welcome
everyone
to
the
kubernetes
public
steering
committee
meeting
today
is
June
1st
June
June,
1st
Monday
and
yeah.
This
meeting
is
being
recorded
publicly,
so
please
keep
in
mind
that
whatever
you
say
would
be
recorded
for
eternity.
We
have
a
code
of
conduct,
so
please
remember
to
be
excellent
to
each
other.
A
B
A
B
No
worries
whatsoever,
Thank,
You
Nikita,
so
Jorge
Castro
had
put
in
this
issue
several
weeks
ago
about
spinning
up
the
work
that
needs
to
happen
for
the
2020
steering
election.
That
I
put
three
points.
I
think
the
main
points
out
of
that
issue.
I
had
had
a
conversation
with
Christophe
about
this
and
I.
Think
somebody
probably
needs
to
pick
this
up
from
the
steering
perspective,
but
I
was
interested
in
rerunning
for
that
election,
so
Christophe
had
suggested.
B
C
D
C
D
E
Yeah
I
I
was
I,
was
just
going
to
suggest,
like
typically
the
elections
or
the
actual
mechanics
of
running
the
election
is
something
that
contributes
typically
takes
care
of
and
I'm
wondering,
like
other
than
other
than
George
who's
involved
in
that
I
know,
II
or
you've
been
involved
in
that
previously.
E
D
B
Yeah,
the
only
other
thing
I
see
there.
Rijo
is
I'm
just
looking
at
the
ticket,
so
expanding
the
group
of
potential
election
officers,
and
there
is
a
question
specifically
to
ask
for
my
steering
members
as
potentially
being
a
valuable
source
but
yeah
I,
don't
know
what
the
direct
contributions
for
steering
made
to
be.
D
C
What
I
failed
to
see
out
the
schedule
is
the
date
by
which
we
are
supposed
to
have
chosen
election
officers
other
well,
okay,
so
it
says
end
of
July
election
officers,
voter
eligibility
criteria,
and
they
should
all
be
done.
It's
unclear
to
me
what
election
preparation
means
so
I
think
what
is
on
our
plate
for
this
month
is
to
consider.
D
E
Yeah
I
I,
don't
mind
taking
this
one
up,
myself,
I
am
NOT.
My
seat
is
not
up
for
election
this
year,
so
I
can
take
at
least
the
initial
parts
of
trying
to
collect
together,
who
might
be
open
to
being
an
election
officer
and
at
least
doing
that
piece,
because
then
it
seems
like
once
we
have
the
election
officers
selected.
Then
they
kind
of
carry
forward
all
the
rest
of
the
points
from
there.
C
F
E
Sure
what
why
don't,
if
you
want
you,
take
that
piece
on
lossy
as
far
as
updating
the
documentation
and
as
far
as
executing
on
the
policy,
as
is
written
for
the
current
cycle,
I
can
do
that
and
just
make
sure
that
we
have
election
officers
for
the
current
cycle.
Talk
with
couture
bags
get
some
volunteers,
and
then
we
have
updated
language
for
the
next
time.
We
got
to
do
this.
A
A
C
D
C
Voters,
regardless
of
the
criteria
that
we
cheers
or
what
it's
worth
but
Christoph's
point
I
believe
believe
mr.
Bobby
tables
has
been
kind
of
deep
into
membership
criteria
and
so
I'd
be
happy
to
see
what
he
comes
up
with
and
I
can
put
myself
I
can
I
can
sign
up
to
be
the
person
who
approves
that
or
whatever
or
works
with
works
with
him
to
come
up
with
appropriate
criteria.
A
A
Think
that
is
enough,
don't
you
have
a
bunch
of
items
about
funding.
I
I
The
other
one
was
the
audit
thing
that
we've
been
talking
about
for
some
time.
That
request,
you
know
we
opened
so
is
this
ticket
and
Chris
responded
saying
that
they
were
budgeted
the
same
amount
of
dollars
as
last
time,
and
if
the
audit
committee
II
should
go
proceed
and
figure
out
what
it's
going
to
take
this
time.
So
that's
the
status
update
on
that
audit
one
then
the
other
one
that
came
up
was
mini.
I
D
I
Yeah
two
of
us
responded
on
that
questions
from
you.
Basically,
what
we
were
saying
was
it's
not
for
general
testing,
it's
for
specific
testing.
There
are
specific
scenarios
that
will
only
be
tested
on
AWS
on
Windows
so
and
the
regular
things
that
we
we
can't
use
Pro.
We
can't
use
you
know
other
providers
and
stuff
like
that.
So
there
is
some
limitation,
so
they
would
want
like
ten
BMS,
you
know
whatever
it
takes
for
that.
D
I
What
I
end
up?
That's
exactly
what
I
asked.
First,
what
are
you
testing?
Where
are
you
testing?
How
are
you
testing?
What
are
these
are
the
our
current
options?
Why?
Why
does
the
current
options
not
work
so
I
will
I
go
through
that
checklist,
so
I
ended
up
doing
that.
I
called
up
media
I,
think
and
talked
to
him
and
then
I
raised
the
issue
to
you.
So
I
will
do
the
service
desk
ticket
and
we
can
go
from
there.
Okay,
Aaron
the.
I
I
So
what
they
have
done
so
far
is
they've,
gotten
credits
from
Microsoft,
so
thanks
Microsoft
for
sure
so,
and
they
set
up
a
github
runner
in
Microsoft
in
Azure
and
they
are
testing
some
integration
with
our
shores.
So
similarly
they
want
to
do
a
testing
with
AWS
and
that's
that's
part
of
the
reason
why
this
request
came
to
us.
C
F
How
does
he
had
something
to
say
it
might
be
covered
in
boardwalk
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
tio,
not
not
TOC.
Oh
my
gosh
wrong
wrong
body
already.
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
steering
committee
liaisons
with
the
community
groups
so
that
we
could
potentially
roll
out
and
implement
the
community
group
reporting
for
just
the
working
groups.
A
A
J
E
G
A
F
A
F
A
A
C
Is
probably
on
me
to
unblock
I
feel
so
the
concern
I
had
was
it
felt
like
this
was
removing
the
ownership
of
a
downgrade
policy
and
there
wasn't
a
thing
to
hold
that
anymore.
I'm
in
Sega,
arch
or
Sega
architecture
based
on
Tim's
in
lumineers
opinion
and
the
Charter
architecture
agrees.
They
should
be
there's
a
upgrade
downgrade
policy.
So
I
think
my
concerns
with
this
charter.
Change
are
addressed
but
I'd
like
to
actually
land
the
sake
architecture.
Charter
change
on
so
I
will
take
that
as
an
action
item.
A
I
A
E
No,
this
is
on
me
and
this
just
kind
of
fell
off
my
to-do
list,
but
it's
easy
enough
to
do.
I'll
just
create
a
Google
Doc
with
you
know
a
listing,
those
of
everything
going
to
start
seating
it,
and
then
we
can
I'll
post
note
to
the
committee
and
we
can
figure
out
how
to
split
everything
up.
A
Okay,
did
you
have
anything
you
want
to
do.
F
Not
necessarily
to
here
I,
don't
know
if
this
is,
if
this
is
like
required
for
us
to
get
going
on
working
group,
annual
reports
or
not
I
feel
like
it
might
be
just
because
these
individuals
are
gonna,
be
going
to
the
working
groups
and
telling
them
about
annual
reports
and
getting
them
prepared
for
it
or
final
I.
Don't
know
if
we
just
want
to
do
this:
wild
wild
west
style
and
everybody
on
the
call
right
now
takes
a
working
group
and
we
go
so
I
guess
for
the
working
group
annual
report
piece.
E
Think
one
way
or
another
we
need
to,
we
need
to
split
everything
up
doing
it,
whether
we
do
it
officially
or
do
it.
Unofficially,
it
I
think
it's
about
the
same
amount
of
work
to
get
it
done.
I
can
like
I.
Could
I
can
have
the
spreadsheet
put
out
to
everybody
this
afternoon
and
we
can
figure
it
out
so
I,
I,
I
think
one
way
or
another.
E
F
Added
some
other
open-ended
questions
and
the
annual
report
issue
things
like
the
timeline,
which
is
just
you
know,
one
of
once,
but
then
also
something
that
might
not
be
that
obvious.
What
do
these
liaisons
need
to
be
need
to
have
to
be
successful
with
coaching
and
prepping
the
working
group
organizers
for
the
reports
like?
Should
we
have
any
kind
of
materials
with
us
like
I?
Don't
know,
I
wanted
to
kind
of
have
a
discussion
around
how
we
actually
prepare
and
coach
these
folks
with
doing
their
reports.
F
I
mean,
for
instance,
can
we
just
send
them
the
the
policy
and
or
you
know,
do
we
go
to
one
of
their
meetings
and
then
tell
them
about
the
new
change?
Should
we
email
them
like?
What's
the
process
there
look
like
or
shouldn't
just
like
the
liaison,
all
the
liaisons
just
figure
it
out
and
do
something
different
Aaron
I
see
I'm.
C
C
C
F
C
C
F
F
F
C
F
F
Think
that
was
one
of
the
open-ended
things
that
I
don't
know.
If
we
ever
got
it
resolved.
I
was
a
proponent
of
everybody,
submits
their
own
answer
to
that,
and
not
honestly,
so
that
we
could
get
better
responses,
but
I
think
other
people
in
steering
said
that
all
of
their
responses
should
be
on
the
same
thing
so
that
everybody
can
see
them.
F
C
J
Paris
is
derogate,
I
think
the
working
group
questions
like
great
the
one
thing
I
was
trying
to
think
third
quietly.
My
head
was:
if
there's
bi-directional
engagement
of
the
working
group
with
the
sig
that
sponsors
it
and
I
guess
we
cover
that
in
the
working
group
section
that
they
do
would
check
in
what
I
was
wondering
is
if
we
cover
anything
in
the
sig
section
to
also
have
a
yes.
A
F
F
F
A
A
J
Thing
I
was
just
trying
to
think
there
was
my
historical
memory
on
working
groups
was
that
SIG's
own
code
and
working
groups
don't
and
so
I
was
trying
to
think
if
there
were
outliers
to
do
that
where
like.
If
we
had
a
way
of
saying
I've
kind
of
like
catching
any
outliers
that
might
exist
with
that
and
it's
possible
that
we
might
have
them
existing
or
not.
I
E
J
E
F
Kind
of
like
innuendo
of
like
keep,
keep
the
communication
door
open,
I
mean
and
also
you'll,
have
those
tears.
I
keep
seeing
TOC
I'm.
Sorry
y'all,
we'll
also
have
the
Syrian
community
liaisons
there
to
to
like
help
prep
and
obviously,
like
you
know,
working
group
Kate
Sanford's
got
an
advantage
with
Tim's
and
Aaron,
and
things
like
that.
F
C
F
C
F
Say
at
once,
but
I
don't
know
if
anybody
else
has
any
other
opinion.
I
just
feel
like
it's
more
fair
if
it's
at
once,
because
then
everybody's
getting
the
information
at
the
same
time,
and
if
you
are,
you
know,
leader
of
multiple
working
groups,
you
at
least
are
aware
of.
What's
ahead
of
you,
so
you
can
delegate
and
plan.
I
Was
thinking
that
you
know
in
our
public
meeting
and
private
meeting,
we
would
continuously
bring
up
whatever
questions
or
issues
and
spend
some
time
five
minutes.
Ten
minutes
going
over
those
on
ongoing
basis
and
and
also
I
mean
we
say
four
weeks.
It's
probably
gonna
take
six
weeks,
but
you
know
this
is
our
first
run,
so
should
be
fine
I,
don't.
I
A
F
F
F
C
I
Did
have
another
question
here,
Nikita,
which
is
what
we
with
after
we
get
all
their
boats?
What
do
we
as
a
body
do
with
them
other
than
go
through
them?
Do
we
then
turn
around
and
tell
everyone
how
how
we
did
as
and
how
each
all
the
working
groups
did
and
come
up
with
like
a
blog
post
or
some
highlight
somewhere
all
the
work
that
we
are
doing.
F
Feeling
we
will
tell
them
to
submit
a
PR
and
the
PR
is
the
report.
I
mean
we.
Can
the
report
to
make
sure
that,
like
anything,
that
they're
putting
in
tags
that
says
private
is
gonna,
be
wiped
away
or
anything?
And
you
know
anything
that
is
like
private
or
security
or
any
of
anything
that
is
not
for
public
consumption.
F
If
you
want
and
like
we
can
just
kind
of,
and
then
that
might
even
be
a
good
way
to
show
other
SIG's
what's
about
to
go
on
with
them
as
well,
you
know
kind
of
give
give
people
that
heads-up
of
hey.
This
is
gonna
happen.
This
is
gonna.
You
know
we're
gonna
need
this
from
States
next
year,
kind
of
thing
right.
I
F
A
F
And
I
mean
we
kind
of
didn't
that
we
didn't
necessarily
address,
though,
like
what
we
kind
of
need
to
be
successful
with
coaching,
but
we
kind
of
don't
know
yet
I
wanted
to
put
that
on
there,
it's
kind
of
like
a.
We
should
probably
say
at
least
think
of
start
to
think
about
that.
Not
necessarily
have
an
answer
for
it.
You
know,
but
as
we're
going
in
to
the
reports
think
about
oh
wow,
how
can
I
be
a
better
coach
here,
but
I
feel
like
her
next
step?
Sweet.
F
A
A
E
E
B
F
B
Finished
purse
yeah:
it's
it's
my
understanding
that
sessions
will
be
pre-recorded
and
then
you
would
be
moderating
the
chat
while
it's
happening
so
they're
supposed
to
be
interactive
for
the
content
that
you've
already
pre-recorded.
So
if
that's
the
format,
I
still
think
there
could
be
value
to
the
community
doing
something
like
what
Paris
said.
We
can
pre
record
a
session
that
answers
these
and
proposed
agenda
items
and
then
field
and
moderate
the
questions
as
they
come
in
I.
Don't
think
it's
going
to
be
everybody.
B
B
F
Think
Chris
a
did
that
actually
in
person
for
the
last
TOC
AMA
in
San,
Diego
and
actually
went
really
well,
meaning
he
did
a
spike
and
then
an
overview
of
what
the
TOC
does
with
slides
to
like
prep
the
audience
so
that,
like
they
didn't
get
any
like
wild
questions
or
whatever
and
I,
think
that
that
might
be
something
we
can
do
to
where
it
was
just
like.
This
is
what
we
govern.
F
B
B
A
B
E
They
I
I
think
we
need
to
just
submit
a
new
request
for
maintainer
track,
see
the
old
one.
When
we
found
out
that
that
you
in
like
when
you
before
to
you,
you
had
been
rescheduled,
we
all
pulled
out
of
it
beforehand,
because
none
of
our
employers
would
let
us
go
so
I
previous
maintainer
track
questions
canceled
and
we
just
need
to
submit
a
new
one.
I
can
definitely
do
that
or
you
can
do
that
lucky
and
our
preference.
E
E
The
only
thing
that
I'd
bring
up
is
like
I've,
been
multitasking
I
created
a
spreadsheet.
It
has
all
the
community
groups
in
it.
We
just
need
to
select
liaisons
for
them,
so
that
can
be
a
follow
up
that
everyone
does
after
the
meeting
is
go
through.
We
need
to
claim
there's
37
community
groups,
so
b5
and
then
2
left
over
so
5
to
6
community
groups
per
remember.
Should.
F
We
try
to
pick
one
so
we
aren't
active
in
or
should
we
try
to
pick
ones
that
we
are
active
and
it
sure
is
there?
Do
we
care
I
mean
now
I'm,
not
saying
I'm,
not
even
saying
that
from
like
a
bias
angle
or
anything
like
that
I'm
just
saying,
should
we
tart
like
what?
How
do
you
feel
like
we
should
do
do
that
it
won't
make
sense
to
you
I,
don't
care
either
way.
I
personally
thought
it
would
be
cool
for
me
to
go
to
a
group
that
I've
never
been
to
before.
F
G
E
Yeah
I
can
I
could
I
can
see
the
list
with
that
we
can
see
how
that
works
out.
The
only
other
thing
that
we
might
need
to
end
up
doing
is
figuring
out
like
things
that
either
have
like
overlapping
meetings
or
something
like
that.
But
there
may
be
some
days
where
we
need
to
like
trade
things
around,
but
otherwise
yeah
I
can
just
feed
with
a
random
assignment.
