It's
important
issue,
because
if
your
water
sewer
line
as
a
defect
or
malfunctions
or
you
have
a
major
problem
and
you
get
a
notice
from
the
water
department,
you
may
end
up
spending
a
couple
thousand
dollars.
Maybe
five
thousand
dollars
just
to
repair
your
water
and
sewer
line.
And
most
people
don't
realize
that
you're
responsible
for
your
connection
to
the
city's
main
line.
A

The
National
League
of
Cities
and
I'm
a
strong
member
of
national
ago
cities
as
a
tad
large
member
city
council,
has
had
this
program
for
a
number
of
years
and
cities
all
around
the
country.
So
the
idea
was:
how
do
we
bring
this
to
the
city
of
Philadelphia?
So
we
issued
an
RFP
or
request
for
proposals
interviewed
different
firms
and
then
we
then
hired
American
water
resources,
which
is
based
in
Camden,
is
a
subsidiary
of
American
water.
To
bring
this
program
to
the
city
of
Adelphia,
and
it's
very
easy
to
sign
up.

You
get
peace
of
mind
the
fact
that
if
you
have
any
issue,
if
you
get
a
notice
from
the
War
Department
or
you
find
any
problem,
I
know
some
of
the
people
I've
been
talking
to
over
the
past
number
of
months,
who
sign
up
for
the
program
and
then
later
found
out
or
saw
something
in
the
water
line
and
thought
you
know.
I
may
have
an
issue
they've
signed
up
to
the
program
because
they're
part
of
this
program,
American
water
resources,
came
out
and
fixed
the
repair
with
no
cost
to
them.
What.
A

A

A

And
when
you
look
at
the
city
of
Philadelphia,
it's
the
largest
big
city
with
the
highest
number
of
private
26%,
most
people
don't
have
four
or
five
thousand
dollars
on
the
side
or
in
a
savings
account
to
use
for
emergency
repair.
And
if
you
ever
problem
with
your
water
sewer
line,
you
have
to
get
that
repaired
immediately.
Thanks.
