This discussion took place at the official unveiling of the Buncombe County Remembrance Project’s permanent exhibit at Special Collections, Pack Library.

The central focus of the exhibit is soil samples collected at sites where Black men were lynched in Buncombe County presented together with information about each one of the victims and the events surrounding their murder.

This is the Virtual Exhibit of the Buncombe 2043 Comprehensive Plan, which mirrors the in-person exhibit happening at Buncombe County libraries on select dates from December 16, 2022 to February 13, 2023. The exhibit highlights the planning process that has taken place over the last year to create the county's first 20-year Plan, and asks the public for their feedback on the Draft document.
