We are working on updating our Cloud Foundry wikipedia page, if some neutral folks would like to help!
Lots of good info on the CAB call:
The MEGA team getting 2 new members.
The CLI team updated CLI docs and integrated it with cf help.
The routing and CLI teams are working together to support multiple app ports and TCP routing.
BOSH team: released bare metal CPI, rack hd with EMC.
New persistence team is called “persi”. It’s led by Ted Young. They would like to know what sorts of distributed files systems Cloud Foundry users are using and how they use them.
The BOSH team is “BOSHifying” all the build packs.
SAP is working on Abacus too: added support for MongoDB and working on Abacus Concourse.
IBM/Pivotal has formed a new team: bits-service which is an incubation project.

The EMC Cloud Foundry Dojo in Cambridge opened January 22.
IBM’s Cloud Foundry Dojo in Raleigh is coming soon.
As an example of what comes out of a dojo and the 6 week training period, SAP leading the BOSH CPI for Open Stack.
On the Cloud Foundry blog, Swisscom talked about their customer Dorma Kaba, a leading provider of security and access solutions and how they chose Cloud Foundry.

2015 was a great year for Cloud Foundry. The Cloud Foundry Foundation was formed, 53 member companies joined to use and contribute to Cloud Foundry and we now have Cloud Foundry Certification. Companies like GE, Bosch, and Siemens are using Cloud Foundry in the Industrial Internet. National government projects in the US, UK, Australia, and South Korea are using Cloud Foundry!

Kick off meeting for certification for application developers and operators is this Thursday. We are going to discuss what certification is, how we might set up the processes and how we’d do it. This way we’ll create a vibrant ecosystem of qualified people that organizations can easily engage with. If you are interested in participating in defining that, let us know!

They spent two days digging into common technology challenges and heard from industry experts like Cloud Foundry Foundation’s Sam Ramji. BNY Mellon’s CIO Suresh Kumar spoke highly of the their involvement with Cloud Foundry and the advantages it brings. The event was also the first in depth preview of the BNY Mellon’s NEXEN open source cloud software, based on Cloud Foundry!
